1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 altcoins for trading on: November 04, 2017, 01:53:07 PM
I'm new to these altcoins and I want to learn about trading, can you give me some tips on which altcoins are best to invest with and when is the right time to sell these coins. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I would suggest as below.

Ethereum is only one that is competing with bitcoin. It has ability to grow itself. At least for a short term it can be profitable.
Monero is also has a ability to grow since it has some partial amount of traders compared to BTC.
Siacoin is a good one for long term holding.
Litecoin has one of in top 5 place because it can be good for both short and long term.
Ripple is a good one to hold for long. But i could see much growth in short term. Now is low. I think its because of raise in BTC.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 03, 2017, 07:00:18 PM
With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.
Yes, Your words are true. Its really dominating the other alts. Its a bad time for alts and some holders are very panic to hold them up for long term. Ofcourse many of the investors are selling theirs. I would say its a time to buy and hold.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum so special? on: November 03, 2017, 06:53:06 PM
Ethereum has seen a huge rise in its adoption as the platform new startups use in implementing their projects.
However, there are other platforms such as Waves that can do the same things Ethereum does ( even easily as Waves does not require any programming skills). Why can't new startups use the Ethereum alternatives? Is there any uniqueness in Ethereum that other platforms don't have? What makes Ethereum the in-thing?
My understanding is its because of smart contract application in block chain technology. There are opportunities to mine ETH with decent profit by using GPU mining rigs.
It may overtake bitcoin as i heard some opinions but its very hard to expect.
I see there are many courses to learn to become smart contract developers.
1204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be 10k in the next 6-10 months! on: November 03, 2017, 06:35:29 PM
As you can read the title, these are the words said by Former Wall Street giant turned Billionaire Mike Novogratz that they won't be surprised if Bitcoin reaches $10k by 2018. We have all been seeing some sarcastic comments from many Wall Street giants and here's an opposite statement coming from someone who used to be a part a Wall-Street. Hey critics, what do you think now?

We are sure to see 10k very soon because the price has broken the level that I expected it to, before the end of October. So, let's just start counting days unless this battle between SW and S2X comes to an end and let the real action begin.
Yes, He was right when we look at the current market trend on bitcoin. It may reach $10k when we see the values are flying up like anything. I was trying to sell today just a $100 worth for urgent purpose. These kind of comments stops me and creates expectations.
Any way am ready to lose if there a loss as well.

Those giants will not think like a common. most of the times they were saying negative predictions i think that is because of tremendous growth and they could not accept it. This time would be true predictions. Waiting to see that.
1205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: November 03, 2017, 06:21:45 PM
What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
According to the growth from last 6 months in bitcoin. It never creates a idea to sell because of huge expectations. Its endless and unpredictable. So just stick with your limit and sell when you get at least 50% profit. Its just to be not risking yourself. Still its up to you. we can have a strong hope in bitcoin always.
Always analyse the market and check whether the countries are trying to avoid this or encouraging these currency systems. If its positive. We can hold for long
1206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: YOUR TRADING STRATEGY on: November 03, 2017, 06:12:04 PM
Hello all,
I am starting to day-trade on the crypto market and I was wondering what was your strategy?
For now I am just starting, I use MA, S/R levels, Fibs and RSI mainly.
What about you?
Its a common strategy and am also following the same thing. Its just buying the coins as long as my capacity is but not the whole investment it should be partial if you want to be bit away from risk. just hold your coins for long term and sell at the time of decent profit do not wait for more profit if its not a bitcoin. I never seen such huge hike in value.
There more topics and researches roaming around here. you should always gather them and do your own research
1207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: November 02, 2017, 09:00:44 AM
Hi guys,
Just curious.
I bought a little bit a few months ago, for the first time, for the sole reason that I want to invest in Bitcoins, and get a profit after 5 years, maybe 10 years.
So I would not need to check the price everyday, as it is of no use for me. But I do, can't help it!

I am not the only one I guess.
As you said, Not for everyday but every hour and minutes sometimes. I am very interested to see the growth of bitcoin. Also it is very good to know the market trend of bitcoins and other alts.
It will be useful for investors and it will create a thought of investing sometimes by watching the tremendous growth.
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: November 02, 2017, 08:50:44 AM
So in the most countries, bitcoin is neither declared legal or illegal. In some it is declared illegal and some are actually allowing it and also promoting their own alts.
So what would a government needs to do to regulate bitcoin in the country? And how can a government actually benefit from legalizing bitcoin in the country? How can it actually support the economic system of the country.
I've not heard that some countries have announced bitcoin as illegal. I think its not true.
There are ways to legalize the bitcoin currency system by writing laws and regulations. The only way to get benefit by legalize is a tax from bitcoin transactions.
Governments are planning to implement their own crypto currency for future. Also it is very difficult to few people who don't know about cryptocurrency. So chance is very less.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: learning blockchain technology? on: November 01, 2017, 05:38:59 AM
hi, recently i am fascinated with blockchain technology & wanted to find out what is the blockchain infrastructure based on?

Which coding language is at core of blockchain?

Also, how can one understand the properties of blockchain?

Thank you
It's good start because you choose a advanced technology.
Blockchain is like a data structure. It stores a transactions in the ledger and connects the blocks by matching the digital signature from the previous block. Simply its a like a book that connects with a page number (Digital signature)

Not like a programming in it but you need to learn basic concepts of SHA (Secure hash algorithms), Digital certificate and how it works.
Just understand its flow. That's enough. Adding blocks, Storing transactions in the ledger, Matching digital signature and Computational work are usually done by mining machines.

1211  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: October 29, 2017, 07:48:18 AM
Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

Please enlighten me.

Blockchain technology is advanced and good to implement in payments purpose. Governments are planning to begin with their own crypto currency.as we know Its a secure and no risks like cash in hand.
I do have doubts on new ICOs. Where do we need to sell that and how is the value get increase..
Still have no idea who will buy that and in use of what?
These ads are just competitive to Google ads and facebook ads. just like a different ad company.
Should use blockchain voting systems to overcome fakes.
1212  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: October 29, 2017, 05:13:25 AM
Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value
No BCG will not go more than or equal to bitcoin.
If the bitcoins are restricted by any countries the value might get down and it turns investors to but bitcoin gold and other alts.
Anyway banning is not possible since there was not much restrictions from governments across the world. Also if the cryptocurrency is implemented by respective countries means. It may leads to the value negative.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: October 28, 2017, 03:00:21 PM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?
Do you think market will be always green? It will be red when you sell.
Market will fluctuate minute by minute. Its not about losing. Just thinking about loss. Holders should wait for some time while it turn to green. Use red to buy. Use green to sell. My quote:)
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins is pumping, should i buy some or wait? on: October 28, 2017, 02:53:13 PM
Firstly i am so sorry for my awful English writing  skill.
I am a newbie to crypto world, i haven't owned any bitcoins yet. Today i decide to buy some altcoins to hold for long term, i have 10.000$. I am curious about this time, because the price of altcoins is going up too fast, bitcoin's price is high, too. So anyone can give me some advices?, please help me! I intend to buy oax, time, link, eos, ark, lisk, waves, neo, xtrabytes, omg.

I think its a right time to buy alts since those are down due to bitcoin fork. I suggest you to invest in multiple alt coins and also buy bitcoin as much you can. For some time it will give you unexpected profit. Choose your alts after a thorough research. Spend your times in this forum to get idea to analyze.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: October 28, 2017, 02:26:41 PM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
No one go with this idea to make this thing spread unless it gives some benefits to them.
May be it will work when Exchange sector start ads in youtube channels. I think TV ads are not good idea since crypto currency holders are always sitting infront of PC's and watching the market.
Ads developed to next gen like gathering our browsing history and advertising in our browsers.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I HAVE 50.000 dollars to invest, help please! on: October 27, 2017, 05:14:01 PM
hi everyone?
first of all let me just say that I am a huge fan of this forum.

So where I am right now is that I have around 50 k to invest in crypto currencies.
My first thought was buying as many antminer l3+ as I could and then keep them in a hosting facility that I found.
then I thought that I should spil 50/50 between mining for litecoins and getting hardware to mine for ethereum.

I know that I am late to the game but I am still hoping that it is profitable.

I would just like to know what would you do ?

thanks for any tips!

No doubts. Blindly go with bitcoin mining, trading or holding them for long term. Else if you are interested in mining then start mining, Zcash. monero, BCH apart from BTC
You can invest partially on altcoins as well. Give priority to bitcoin for quick profit
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: October 27, 2017, 04:34:54 PM
Whether its bitcoin trading or altcoin trading, there is bound to come a time when your investment is getting dumped badly, and its panic time.
How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?
When i invest some lumpsum amount in trading. It may leads to panic about the market conditions, Value fluctuations is most unpredictable one. However it will eventually raise the value after sometime Also i can't suddenly liquidate my coins.
At somepoint i have to hold them to not get empty handed.
1218  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: did anyone know about this mining ?? on: October 26, 2017, 08:35:43 PM
hello i did anyone have know or about mining with blockchain wallet that have so many in fb and the for bilion user in fb i got are inbox that mention can earn btc mining with blockchain wallet .. look weird and i think is scam .. its that have sofware like that Huh just want to know if that true or scam people .!!!
UPDATE!!!
SEE HERE MY FOR THE BETTER UNDERSTAND MY QUESTION = https://imgur.com/gallery/a1zx6

the question is have mining trough blockchain wallet to blockchain network

Blockchain pro you are referring I think. This is not a legit mining site. You may find the income like water flow in your mining site's dashboard but actually that is not true and they will ask you to pay the Withdraw amount like 0.0008 or 0.001 but you will never get the withdrawal to your concern wallet.
So you can avoid it atlease your time will not wasted to research about it or trying in mining.
Do they can scam. You have given an headup to new joiners to our BTC world. I think have seen few websites with similar name of original site to steal our credentials. I think he don't know about mining fully. Those knowledge will help him to know that single website cannot mine what high configured systems can mine.
1219  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: is it still worth mining? on: October 26, 2017, 08:17:09 PM
If you have cheap electricity, maybe. Electricity at $0.05 per kilowatt-hour or less is ideal. Unfortunately it might be impossible to recover the cash used to buy the miner. I read an article where the money used to buy miners could actually get a higher profit if BTC were bought directly as the value of BTC rose. Therefore you might want to consider just buying the BTC instead of spending the time, money and effort trying to mine.
You are practically understood the process to make profits on smart way. As you said instead of buying miners and run with electricity cost. We can invest that money in multiple ways like in bitcoins and altcoins as well. Do you think we can't ignore mining for altcoins because am not sure how it gives you hands and it may helps to earn something. I hope you had a very practical experience and some impacts on mining. I will think about investment anyway.
1220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: October 25, 2017, 07:52:05 PM
When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?
I will fix some percentage to myself like i will wait until it reaches to the certain % and sell them for decent for profit. Its a method not willing to take risk.
Else i will hold my coins for long term and i will set my mind not to touch even if the price go down will not worry about it. So that o can get some unexpected profit by taking risks. Because i have a hope cryptocurrency is future so it will not give from the market.
