1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do not have the guts to buy bitcoins now. on: November 19, 2017, 04:04:10 AM
Maybe it is time to buy some bitcoin. As its value goes low and low.Maybe it will get high again.Buy for now as long as its low.It is your chance.
I think dont care what time you buy, as long as you buy a lot of bitcoin and don't worry when prices fall. You will make a lot of money.

Your point is valid only if you should have patience and literally forget that you have invested in bitcoin for at-least 5 years then check the returns for a good result and profit but not suitable for most of us as we are looking for short time profit and also save little towards the long term but most of us are looking for current gain.
Just few people who are traders are actually looking for the short term gains and trying to trade for some quick profit. However, I hope the OP was able to rent some guts to buy back in October, or else he must be having himself to blame for it now probably by listening to the advice of the person that posted below the OP.

Bitcoin is showing great sign of improvement and cannot be compared to those days when a lot of FUD can easily drag bitcoin down. What we should be seeing now are corrections and anyone who does not utilize the opportunity or does not have guts will apparently have some after a while.
1242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Time To Buy Bitcoin ! Buy Buy Bitcoin ! on: November 19, 2017, 03:27:56 AM
heh, nobody ever listens. people either know this already and have bought in the dip or they are ignorant fools who have fallen for the FUD.
in fact if you check the topics and some of the comments on bitcointalk and other related social media you can see how many of them are desperate now. they even say weird things such as claiming bitcoin is still dropping and suggesting others to sell. meanwhile you check the charts and see the upward movement for the past day at least!
they will come around eventually though. that is why we always have these sharp rises in bitcoin. the FOMO buyers always wait a long time with the false hope that price will fall again so they can buy but it never does. and at some point they give up and start panic buying.
And really that is good for the FOMOs. The problem most of them usually have is to take chances when they see them and then waiting for a better option when obviously the option being waved at their front is just the best.
Even when the price was below $6000, so many people on this thread were still waiting for it to go lower and then ended up missing it. It is crazy they will now be rushing it so they don't miss out.
1243  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 19, 2017, 03:04:47 AM
Yes it is true,  only 1% people know about crypto currencies. 99% people think fiat money is better than online currencies because digital currency needs internet. But in the world there are so many area where people are not in range internet. That's why They don't like online currencies.
I would not say it in that sense that 99% thinks fiat is better. I would rather say most of those 99% do not have any idea what bitcoin is even all about. Sure, there are some people who would like the traditional method way of doing things.

Even with what you have mentioned with some people in the world not having access to internet which makes them limited to the information about bitcoin, that does not make them prefer fiat to bitcoin but they just do not have any choice as that is the only means of payment they are aware of.
1244  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: November 18, 2017, 07:21:57 PM
once in zimbabwe ex rate for US dollar was Z2,6 bln for 1USD. bread cost Z600 mln. would you consider that a crash? i definetely do. that produced extreme poverty and chaos.
That is definitely a crash and right now, Zimbabwean currency has been dropped for USD since there is no way it can really catch up. It totally got to the point when they started creating a 1 trillion Zimbabwean dollar note. That is how pretty up it has been messed.

Fiats can crash and it all balls down on how the government is really able to manage the economy of the nation. So many countries have or are experiencing financial crisis at the moment and that is due to their financial system being totally messed up.
1245  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country will be the first to legalize Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 06:32:48 PM
There is a lot of countries that legalized bitcoin and i think that Japan was the first to fully legalized bitcoin. Bitcoin is a great cryptocurrency and that is why they legalized it and made it as a official currency in their country. I hope that the other countries and not only in the Asian countries will legalize bitcoin so they can enjoy the benefits of bitcoin.

It has to start from one country. And as you see and I agree with you it might be some country from East Asia like Japan or others. And then after it set the first step, many other country all around the world, especially those who are struggling to survive can take many advantages from adopt it.

We'll see, something is going to happen soon..
Putin said a word recently that most top countries are already accepting and regulating cryptocurrencies and that he believes they can see how they are doing it to integrate the same method into the Russian system. This is what would end up happening.

Most countries in the Asian continent have already legalized and started regulating bitcoin which is making it even more usable and popular in these countries and with that so many other countries will start using them as case study to implement the same strategies so as to benefit from it and this would be a win-win.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your fav long term hold alt coins? on: November 17, 2017, 05:43:17 PM
Waves. I've been holding it over a year. And I guess I'll be holding it for a long while  Grin
Waves is one coin I will never stop holding. It has huge prospects and only huge patience is required for coins like these to make it big eventually. I am so optimistic that this coin would really have a huge spike in few months’ time with the ongoing development with it.

Other than waves, in my old ledger, I am still holding litecoins and dogecoins as I still believe into them. They may surprice at any time. But I am not recommending anyone to go for them here, act at your own risk.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 17, 2017, 05:17:45 PM
I am buying altcoins because the price is really cheap. They have also good potentials to rise if they have a good team and a good project of course. The best thing is that some users don't know that these coins exist.

Thats why i want to profit now and get many coins out of it. I save my coins i sell it after a few years.
Right now, anyone not buying altcoin is apparently not being smart. It is going to be like heaven and rain pouring down when most of these altcoins start going green. I have some and I am still adding as they keep going a little down based on some percentage differences and I am so optimistic that they would give me a lot in a short while.

Honestly I am not a random picker because I do spend lots of time on choosing my preferred altcoins. Still I do not choose them for long term holding but just only for next jump.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NOW GOOD INVESMENT on: November 17, 2017, 04:58:40 PM
market is good ,guess now good invesment coin ETH,XRP ?

It's now pumping so I guess it's good to buy bitcoin now not ETH and XRP. The market is good for alt coins these days and if I were you, I'll take the chance of buying bitcoin instead of those coins. I missed the chance of buying some ETH too last time and I immediately regret my decision for not buying.
I am even planning to dump my ETH right now looking at the market activity. As much as the market is pumping, it won't happen immediately, it would take some days before they can even get back to where they all started their dips from. It was a very long week full of long dips for those coins. However, it still looks very much like; BTC is not ready at any moment to go lower than it is already.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: November 17, 2017, 03:31:59 PM
Gambling has made a way in my life that's made a big impact. For example, when i feel lonely it makes me want to play and play. Not just in gambling but also with consoles and the risk of playing with others in a game with a wager makes me feel fired up. So I turn to it when possible but I make sure I'm not addicted.
Gambling can be sort of destruction to those people who want to escape problems and loneliness in life, others want to gamble because they are worry about money. All gamblers has their own reasons why they gamble.
yup you are right mate, people have there own reason why they are playing gambling. I do gamble for fun, but I play to win my bet. Suppose if I lose I will take that easily. Who will not take their loss seriously they can play safe gambling.
In fact not taking loss seriously is what really makes the difference.
Losses should be expected in gambling a lot and people should never imagine gambling to be a means of profit making but more like trying out ones luck and expecting the worst. That is the only way it can be easy to regard it as fun.

Definitely we always have to be very careful and try as much as possible to win bet as that is the game and no one loves losing but to escape most especially grief or loss, is like fuel to fire.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on cryptocurrencies prices on: November 17, 2017, 09:01:29 AM
That's a different betting option. Here users won't get to be lucky to win big in a short as the price is completely unpredictable. No one makes a continued research about the cryptocurrencies price moves. These were almost similar to the sports betting, people get lucky enough to get a winning in unexpected time.
There are some moves that can really make some pretty good bet when it comes to betting on cryptocurrency prices. It does not have to do anyway with only Bitcoin and you can still do your analysis to predict where the trend may end up falling. However, it is still a very risky thing to do, but that is why it is called gambling. Everything comes with a risk and it is just to understand and accept the risk that matters.
1251  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: November 16, 2017, 01:07:51 PM
Promoting products or links using Facebook is one of the best and easiest way of advertising, because in the present situation most of the people are using social media to simply encourage people to try their products and services.
In addition you can also used Twitter, Instagram and other social communication for the faster spreading of your products and links.
When looking at all the social media platforms all together, Facebook still seems like the best and the most effective way when it comes to paid adverts. For those who may have huge twitter followers though, it can still be easy to promote without adverts, although I have never really tried twitter paid adverts to see how effective it is.

Asides this, Instagram, BB adverts does not really seem to work much for me since I have tried them and I would rather push those funds on Facebook instead.
1252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Will You Do If You Are Trap On A SHIT Coin ? Or Low Volume Coin on: November 15, 2017, 09:55:37 PM
Usually when I stuck with shitcoin no matter what coin it is, I will sell it when there are no more sign of improvement, it is better to get a little than lost it all, but I seldom buy random coin which is not popular, because I know unfamous alt coin price will never recovered once it dropped down
Isn't that why we even call it a shit coin in the first place.
I usually do not tamper with shitcoins or hold them for long and even if I will have to buy, I only do when they are at huge dips. Anything that would affect them at that huge dips and would make them to keep going lower is something terrible which is why I don't joke at all with my stop loss on those coin which is what I believe everyone should always do when holding a shitcoin to be able to manage whatever comes after.
1253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how control my emotion?? on: November 15, 2017, 06:01:34 PM
Im now in trauma  Cheesy. What I do is to leave trading for awhile and go out for gigs Cool.Best way to chill your mind and heart attack Cheesy

no matter for how long you stall - just keep remembering that PATIENCE is the key.
Patience is really a key for anyone who is holding for a long term cause at one point or the other, the market gets pumped except one is holding a shitcoin anyway.

It is something that is needed if one does not want to go through the stress of short or day trading which requires huge technical skills. Long term tend to hold down funds a lot and if the trader is comfortable with that, no matter the level of the dip, patience is just all that matters.
1254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips on: November 14, 2017, 12:41:49 PM
My tip is :
Nerver loan money to trade
Nerver all in
Nerver send private key to another
Never thinking like majority
Never with the Nerver comes the different meanings, the private key is your only security, if you share the private key with someone else. This will not be a return.
I really wonder why anyone would want to trade and expose their private keys anyway since all you have to do is to register on an exchange and send your funds there except if you are making use of EtherDelta which is a decentralized exchange and so far so good, even if you have to make use of your private key, it is safe as long as you do not end up on a phishing site that claims to be etherdelta.
1255  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 12:03:39 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralised system, so regulations can only be implemented on government levels and at local exchange level. Further across the globe no rules can be imposed between 2 users as peer to peer transactions take place. Government is worried because of the misuse and money laundering happening due to Bitcoin, so they may try to impose regulations when people are trying to convert Bitcoin in local currency. But all over regulations in Bitcoin are hard to happen.
Right. Peer to Peer transactions cannot even be monitored. I can still decide to directly make payment to someone in bitcoin based on the value at that time directly to his wallet. People do not understand that regulating bitcoin is not the same as controlling bitcoin or centralizing it.

It will only ball down to the activities that surround the exchanges and those who may want to convert to fiats, would be the one to stick with the regulations if they like since they need the service at that moment.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy? on: November 14, 2017, 08:53:03 AM
No minimum and no maximum,Any amount that you can afford to lose and you are willing to invest.
That is just all. There is no good amount and everyone knows what is best or good for them and the level of risk they can take. In as much as bitcoin is gaining more grounds every day, it is still more like a mid-risk investment and it is best to invest what one can afford to lose. All the above, I have seen so many people who are willing to go all the way due to their huge belief in bitcoin, but that is dependent on how well they really know what they are doing and how much they are willing to risk to get that.
1257  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years? on: November 14, 2017, 08:23:24 AM
What is most profitable to invest for 5 years ?BT or ETH

of course the answer is bitcoin because bitcoin price could be higher than today and if we invest right now, i think the price will be double in next year and we don't have to wait until 5 years. but for me, i think i want to invest bitcoin and ethereum because i think bitcoin and ethereum can give me big profit in future and if 5 years from now the price is increase higher, then i am sure that i can make a lot of profit. but we can not compare between bitcoin and ethereum because the ethereum price is too cheap depend bitcoin and its need more years to become expensive like bitcoin.
It is really good to diversify into both as you have mentioned, but we also have to realize the margin in the growth of bitcoin cannot be compared.

Definitely, I believe ETH still have some chance to grow with some of the developments going on and I can see that it is already becoming very relevant as much as bitcoin by staying on that second position for a while, but to be able to catch up in growth with bitcoin and even be able to give investors as much as bitcoin would, I totally doubt that. All the above, it is not a bad idea having some of it as no one knows what the future holds for this coin as well.
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZGR-ICO] ZIGGER: A Project of Bitcoin Marketplace for localized Shopping on: November 13, 2017, 06:44:37 AM
Bounty Campaigns are live here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2393667.0 . We are very happy for getting a huge support from the people
Thank you for notifying.
This really seems a good potential project and investing in this project might be useful in future as it will grow more widely.
Also it will help many users to get a chance to understand what bitcoins are and will use them to purchase commodities.

It might be a good start for all those who are new in the cryptos world and they will also get a chance to learn many more uses of bitcoins to earn a good passive income.
1259  Economy / Economics / Re: SegWit2x Called Off on: November 12, 2017, 03:34:05 PM
It really would not have gone well if it had been implemented but I am happy segwit2x dudes had to reconsider most especially since the support dropped drastically for the coin and it would not really be sensible if it had been allowed to be implemented and still refuse to implement replay attack protection despite the support drop.

I really believe this would give some breathing space chance for the dev to come up with a scaling solution cause we really need that right now.
1260  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to banks? on: November 12, 2017, 03:12:27 PM
the issue to banks is that bitcoin makes them completely unnecessary we do not need a bank to exchange our coins and even if they created their own exchanges to get a piece of the action decentralized exchanges are already here, right now decentralized exchanges are not very popular but I think that is going to change in the next decade and when that happens banks are not going to have the option of becoming an exchange anymore.
Well, we may not need banks anymore at some point, but you should not forget that not all of us. There are still so many people who still believe in the traditional system of doing things and also those who may not have the technological infrastructure like internet to even access the cashless society, so we cannot rule those set of people out.

Yet, the activities would reduce and once the government starts getting involved in creating their own currency using the blockchain technology, is when it would even get more interesting.
