1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 02, 2020, 10:41:20 AM
Well, I'm involved with Bitcoin for about seven years know. Through that time I've learned a lot and gained a lot of experience.
But what I liked to point out it's that Bitcoin helped me in tough financial times when I had no other options. Bitcoin was my opportunity to overcome my financial problems to start again so I have a real example how Bitcoin can help to change the life for better.
1242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus? on: February 01, 2020, 09:17:02 PM
The outbreak isn't happening is some poor African country, Chinese hospitals can take care of their patients, there's no need to make any donations. It also won't be very helpful from a PR point of view, the media doesn't care when Bitcoiners donate money to anything, they still call it a tool for criminals.

Also, OP, you're walking on thin ice here - you may be tagged as a scammer for publicly soliciting donations without having established reputation and showing proofs that you are in fact ready to deliver the funds to its destination.

I agree that donations are not necessary, especialy not for medical treatments. Maybe for researching and finding future solution against it but like  you mentioned it's not that some third country is involved that can't afford it. However, I'm also sceptic when it comes to crypto donations, too many scams are involved.
1243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management , how ? on: February 01, 2020, 07:59:45 PM
First of all you have to be aware of your limits. Whatever you do, don't invest more than you can affor to lose. Always diversify your investment and never get greedy in times when you are doing good.
Don't ever treat trading as a gambling and don't rely on pure luck, that is a trap. And always be aware that you can't predict every situation and that surprises, especialy negative ones, are always possible.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may hit 27K USD in the next 180 days! on: February 01, 2020, 05:32:40 PM
I really think that we can even make the 30k USD as well if the bull run would be nice again to us, Bitcoin in some reason is moving in a direction that is going up and there is nothing that can stop it, and yes this could be triggered because of the Halving's effect but demand is the most common thing why the just is suddenly going up, and right now the price has halted in galloping upward right now maybe because of the reports and what is happening with China right now, Tom Lee can be 70% right about it but the 30% can still be accurate in a way that prediction will not happen at all.

I don't know how do.you people come to such figures. 30000$ in.the next 180 days? That is really exaggerated and I would like to see the indicators that lead to such conclusion. Just because price has crossed 9000$ that doesn't mean that it will continue to grow all the time, some corrections will definetely happen. It's good to be optimistic but with both feet on the ground.
1245  Economy / Economics / Re: Dow Jones Price Drop & The Corona Virus? on: February 01, 2020, 11:53:17 AM
Seemingly the latest news of the sudden Dow Jones price drop saga is aimed at "The Corona Virus". A little known about deadly virus causing death and despair. Amazing if true, how a  virus can effect the world's economies in such a way? Is it a cover up for something else? As usual any thoughts or comments are more than welcome.

First of all corona virus isn't deadly itself. It's similar to pneumonia and it can cause complications to people that already have some serious health conditions that might result with death  But the percentage of people who are affected and die is relatively small.
Such virus threaths, if they last a long time can cause problem also with world economies but currently I don't think that is the case and especialy it doesn't affect cryptocurrencies.
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion on "bitcoin, XRP and crypto in general are scams" on: January 31, 2020, 10:51:58 PM
Another so called analisys that is worthless.
It's funny how everything is perfect when the price is high, people have no doubts and they are satisfied. Once they lose the patience waiting for the price to become huge and they become rich people over night they start to doubt and to call Bitcoin and crypto a scam. Nothing unusual, we see such scenarios all the time. I.just don't know why people pay attention to it.
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm trapped in trading on: January 31, 2020, 08:26:29 PM
Many of us at least once had the feeling they are trapped. Some reckless decision, bad choices or circumstances can lead to that and that is the reason why every trader needs to have exit strategy or better to say a back up.
But that is necessary even before you start.trading, you need to know what are the risks and consequences and can you deal with that. Don't ever trade with attitude that things will set up somehow because they often don't and once you face the loss bigger than you can take you might be in big trouble.
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities using Bitcoin today? on: January 31, 2020, 05:01:15 PM
Some celebrities use Bitcoin as an investment asset. This can be assumed with a high degree of probability. Bitcoin is highly profitable, and the rich always strive to become even richer. I am not sure about their use of cryptocurrency in everyday life, because the cryptocurrency exchange rate is very unstable, which makes it difficult to use it for daily purchases.

Yes, I can confirm this information with a link: https://usethebitcoin.com/7-celebrities-who-have-invested-in-bitcoin/ This is a list of 12 celebrities who have invested in bitcoin. Among them we see Björk, Ashton Kutcher, Mike Tyson and others. In fact, of course, there are more such celebrities. Many of them, for various reasons, prefer to remain silent about their investments.

That might be true but I don't think that can help Bitcoin community in some significant way just because they don't announce that in public. However, it's good for promotion of Bitcoin but for that also they should advertise that fact more, maybe not in a way that they are investors but they could emphasize they support crypto community.
1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: I see a dump approaching, do you? on: January 30, 2020, 09:23:04 PM
I don't know how you can see dump comming, maybe you have a cristal ball.  Smiley
Now seriously. Currently the price is rising but I think that pull back is possible. I wouldn't name that a dump, it's more a correction because I don't expect that price goes lower that it was before current rise.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright claims , today will be the last day for Bitcoins. on: January 30, 2020, 10:20:40 AM
Haven't we heard such claims too many times before? I don't know why people even pay attention. I mean, everyone has the right to his own opinion but such claims without any solid arguments, based on nothing just should be ignored.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: January 29, 2020, 09:09:45 PM
And so what? I don't understand why people get upset because of some silly statement of some so called Bitcoin expert. That what McAfee thinks about Bitcoin doesn't influence it in any way and it isn't important for community. So just stop following such news and such people, they are not important in Bitcoin world.
1252  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: January 29, 2020, 07:37:41 PM
I don't see why would government's cryptocurrency be a threath. Competition is good, such cryptocurrencies don't have any special position in.the market, in.fact they are often without success. And if they succeed to attract users and compete with their value that is a good thing.
Also, that shows that governments are interested in cryptocurrencies and explore.their possibilities and that is positive sign.
1253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Strategies- Best Practices on: January 29, 2020, 01:10:18 PM
Before decision about any type of trading model or strategy you need knowledge about cryptocurrencies and market. Also you need to define what is your final goal and time framework you want to achieve it.
Also, don't expect to become successful trader over nir, it takes time and experience. And don't copy others, what is good for someone else doesn't necessary be good for you too.

1255  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: January 28, 2020, 09:16:33 PM
Dude, you are Hero, why don’t you use your status to receive money from subscription campaigns? This is your first source of income at $ 200 / month. Even now, when do not pay much, the signature is your main weapon in order to receive quite good money.

That is not the solution, at least not in whole. Campaigns pay a little these days and times when you could earn even up to 200$ or 300$ per month are over. Now he could only count on 30$ to 50$ per month in.average and question is how long that will last.
The solution might be freelancing if he has some skills other need, that is the way to make some steady income if there is no income from some regular job that would allow him some extra money for investing each month.
1256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Corona Virus will Impact the price of Bitcoin ? on: January 28, 2020, 02:03:30 PM
Every time I'm surprised over and over again when I seed threads like this.
Not everything that appears in this world, no matter from the field of economy, health, environment or whatever else, doesn't necessary influence Bitcoin price. Sometimes I think that people are trying to find all possible excuses or reasons to explain or justify price changes.
1257  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, ICO, Lending, Bounty. Which one should I do ? on: January 27, 2020, 06:49:21 PM
Everything is good option but you need some knowledge and guidance to make the money at there. We have noticed many newbies who lost their money on investing so better side you have bounty as all the time option.
But even there scammers are available to scam so be careful everywhere.

I wouldn't agree that all of these are good options. Everything has the risk and everyone needs to make assesment what is acceptable and what isn't.
To my opinion ICOs ate not so good option because there is a lot of scans connected to it or too.big risk with minimum or not at all opportunities to make profit. The same applies to bounty.
Trading requires skills, knowledge and experience.so if you are beginner that might be quite a challenge.
1258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: January 27, 2020, 05:14:23 PM
Before getting to know trade, I only played faucets, around 2014, and that was based on a recommendation from a friend. after one month of searching for the coffers of bitcoin from the results of the faucet, I made a trading account at bittrex exchange. there I was taught how to trade in great detail. so I didn't study through videos or articles. learning by hands-on practice will get a faster understanding.
faucet is indeed the starting place of the average person, I am also not much different in his journey to be able to do research in daily trading. yes maybe bittrex became the most recommended place in the year because of its large volume making it widely used by traders. but I learned trading techniques from books and some videos, maybe because everyone's abilities are different.

I also started with faucets, trying to get some starting investment funds but very soon I found out that is the waist of time and efforts.
Although that isn't the right way and I don't encourage people to invest with borrowed mine, my friend.lent me some small amount of Bitcoin and showed me some basics of trading. It wasn't easy and many times I experienced losses but with time my knowledge and experience.grew and results were better.
1259  Economy / Economics / Re: Question about inflation and debt. on: January 27, 2020, 12:15:03 PM
Printing money is a good idea only if your currency is a reserve currency. Otherwise like the others said, you will end up like Venezuela.

How do you think USA get away with it? It is because no matter how much they print, there is still demand. (Or was)

The danger is, now countries like Russia, China, Iran and even some European countries want to use something else. (Euro or gold backed crypto) When this happens, USD will lose its demand.

Printing money is never a good idea. At any circumstances that could only lead to economic devastation. Once you're deep in debt the only sustainable solution is growth of business and industrial production but for such countries that is very slow and painfull process, often without results.
Btw. to my opinion Euro is strong and stable enough to fully support european economies.
1260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: January 26, 2020, 08:43:24 PM
It's a small sum, not suitable for some bigger trading adventures.
With only 50$ you can't do much, it's not for daily trading it's more for the beginers that are just experimenting and trying to feel the market. With such sum I suggest to buy amount of Bitcoin you can cover and hold. If it turns out positive for you you might get courage for some bigger investment.
