12641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Decentralized BTC exchanges? on: August 01, 2015, 01:06:07 AM
Coinffeine as far as I know is a decentralized exchange. But I have never checked them out how decentralized they really are.
Maybe it's worth a try.

Quote
Coinffeine is an open source, peer-to-peer (P2P) bitcoin exchange platform. With Coinffeine you are able to buy and sell bitcoins securely and anonymously without having to rely on a centralized exchange. It's like BitTorrent for your bitcoins!

I checked out Coinffeine and it looked very promising. I guess this by far is the best decentralized exchange yet (in my opinion)
12642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: July 31, 2015, 03:03:04 PM
I've made $4.66 from selling my UMISOO hashrate on Hashnest. I earned some profit because I've bought this hashrate when price was at $4.31 I think I will buy S5 hashrate later... Roll Eyes
12643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Worldcoinindex? on: July 31, 2015, 02:38:23 PM
I can see Ripple is #2 in market cap on Coinmarketcap, while on Worldcoinindex it is #9. Hmm...interesting  Roll Eyes
Ripple is number 2 too on Worldcoinindex if you sort by marketcap. Worldcoinindex updates a lot more frequent and you can see last change if red or green.

I've sort it by market cap and yes Ripple is #2 in market cap. However Dash is number #5 on marketcap based on Worldcoinindex while on Coinmarketcap it is listed as #4. Which one is more accurate?? I'm so confused  Huh

I checked out physical coins from cryptonic.net, and found out that there's a physical Monero coin. I like the looks of it. It's stunning.

Coinmarketcap is the most accurate site. It's updated constantly and provides a wide range of cryptos to check their info. This is my opinion  Roll Eyes
12647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins mined with CPU on: July 31, 2015, 01:53:09 PM
Are there any altcoins that can only be mined with a cpu that have a good return? Also what is the best mining program to use?

So far XMG is the easiest to mine, not to mention that it's the most rewarding. I've tried other coins but I haven't earned as much as from XMG. Just my opinion.

You can check the coin's website at: http://coinmagi.org

Hope this helps! Happy mining  Wink
12648  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 31, 2015, 01:33:27 PM
I think I could get 1 BTC through arbitrage in a month or two. But, I don't know as trading is risky.
12649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highest POS Coin? on: July 31, 2015, 01:31:18 PM
Also, could give me a tutorial or guide on how to start staking coins? I'll appreciate all your help. Thank You

Buy, buy, buy  Grin Seriously, why do you need a tutorial to stake coins? You can get some by buying, participating on the community, doing jobs for coins, etc. There is no special strategy.

The best current POS coin based on the ROI is BitcoinDark. It pays weekly dividends just by holding the coins. Take a look at the offical thread on the board.

Further, I can recommend NXT, NEM and Qora. But do your own research.

why is bitcoindark better than dmd?

actually who knows which is the best POS coin? which is the most secure of all the pure POS coins?  black?

I was looking into DMD and it has a limited supply of 4.38 million coins. That's less than Bitcoin supply which I think it will make this coin to rise in price. Also, I've found that it has 50% annual interest rate. So far, this one looks promising. I'll take a better look into it later.

12651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to decide what cryptocurrencies to invest in? on: July 31, 2015, 12:56:40 PM
Just invest in Bitcoins, hold them and you'll play safe. Remember, never invest what you can't afford to lose. As for alt coins, be careful on which you invest on. Be sure to make a research on such coin (development, community, etc) before making your move.  Wink
12652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Highest POS Coin? on: July 31, 2015, 12:47:16 PM
I'm currently new when I comes to staking coins. I've been try to know how to do the process, and so far I have little knowledge of how to stake a coin. Basically, I'm just looking for the highest rewarding POS coin available. (highest rate of POS) If there's any coin that meets this criteria, please let me know.  Smiley

Also, could give me a tutorial or guide on how to start staking coins? I'll appreciate all your help. Thank You
12653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you own physical crypto coins? on: July 31, 2015, 12:37:44 PM
Do you like to collect physical cryptos?  So do I! I've been collecting some for a while now. My first physical coin was a gold plated Bitcoin (for only $6). Then, I've bought a physical Dogecoin (crypto chip) from Crypto Chips. However, I'm planning to buy more physical coins, especially real gold and silver ones.

If you'd like to share the physical coins you are holding, feel free to post here!  Cheesy

P.S. I will post pics of my physical coins later when I get home.  Grin

I would advise to take a look on my thread. If you miss a supplier, please let me know in a post on the thread. I still owe 2 reviews to the community of Kialara's and BH coins, but can't find the time Smiley

Such a handy list for me to keep track of coin suppliers. Thanks for sharing this. So far, I love Infinitum Bitcoins. My favorite is the Silver Da Vinci Bitcoin

If you have pics of your physical crypto coins, feel free to share them here! By the way, I'm looking to buy physical titanium Bitcoins (I don't know if they even exist)
12655  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 31, 2015, 01:44:05 AM
I don't think Bitcoin will ever be dead. I doubt it. It's the first crypto currency ever created in history that started the with the Blockchain technology. But I do know this....once Bitcoin becomes mainstream, it's value will probably rise up to $1000 or more. That's why I'm holding Bitcoin since it's the most valuable crypto right now. Most other coins are just another copy of the Bitcoin code (like Litecoin, Dogecoin, etc) However, I have to admit that most coins have bought promising technologies such as Monero (XMR) which is by far one of my most favorites. Just opining  Cheesy
1,bitcoin it's already mainstream
2,monero is shit

1. Well I was talking about global acceptance (everybody would use it)

2. Could you explain why Monero is shit?
12656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: July 30, 2015, 03:20:18 PM
Well, I've been scammed so many times by cloud mining services. So as a result, I've turned greedy due to the fact that I want to recover my BTC back now that I've lost a pretty big amount of them thanks to these scammers. Just being honest here..lol  Grin

12658  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be our new world currency? on: July 30, 2015, 02:39:21 PM
Bitcoin should be our new world currency. It's far more valuable than other cryptos including fiat (1 BTC = $285) while as it is a decentralized and global currency for anyone to use. Another thing that Bitcoin does is to prevent inflation unlike fiat of course. Just my opinion  Grin
12659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much Monero XMR do you own? on: July 30, 2015, 01:53:32 PM
As of now, I own 3 XMR but I'm planning to get more by slowly growing my stack of coins. I just buy a very small amount of XMR each day until I reach a full Monero  Grin
12660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Predictions on: July 30, 2015, 01:47:37 PM
no doubt monero is the next bitcoin Cool

There is no doubt that Monero might become Bitcoin's succesor in the future. The technology it provides and the ability of making transactions virtually untraceable is one of the key factors that Monero will succeed (I think). As always, I'm growing my stack of Monero slowly until eventually I get to own at least 100 Monero. Someday, I will hit the jackpot.  Cheesy
