1341  Other / Off-topic / Re: Over 14 entire YEARS of Bitcointalk history - This is quite interesting! on: December 11, 2023, 09:33:59 AM
What was the craziest event you have seen here at Bitcointalk or BTC in general?
I always like the April fools event that's done yearly. It's once in a year and the concepts are always unique. There's always a year for theymos to think of new concepts that can be applied to that event.

And, if you're into iconic threads. You're going to like this thread below.

1342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: December 10, 2023, 09:52:16 PM
Folks, cut the long quote. It doesn't look cool to be honest.

Referral bonus is a better way for us to earn as we are gambling in our favorite casinos. We can utilize the opportunity to earn more by joining the referral bonus system. Those that know how to refer people to a casino would earn more from referral system than those that just have the passion of referring but do not have a system in place or where that. An attract large numbers of gamblers to join them in the casino. If we are focus on referring even though it's our first time, we can still make money from that. I prefer to gamble and stay calm without bothering myself about referring people.
Those that know how to refer has the edge on this opportunity. But hearing just is much better than doing the actual thing because if you don't have a strategy in attracting new sign ups through your referral link, you'll just give up on it.
1343  Other / Off-topic / Re: You holds your tomorrow on: December 10, 2023, 07:45:02 PM
The fact is you can't hold tomorrow and you can't boast what's with tomorrow. You don't know what can happen tomorrow but you have the power and control of what's happening now.

While if it's about morning, just cherish the time everytime you wake up because you'll not know if the next tomorrow comes with uncertainty to yourself.
1344  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury and spending lifestyle fastest way to poverty rich kids on: December 10, 2023, 11:37:01 AM
This is due to the misbehavior of parents who are not good at raising and educating their children. Excessive pampering of wealthy children and the ease with which they obtain everything with complete ease will make them ineligible to bear responsibility themselves and will lead to their bankruptcy after the departure of their wealthy parents.
So the blame is primarily on these rich parents.
As parents, we need to show tough love to our kids. Because if not, they will not learn in life when they grow up.

Honestly, those who have lived being poor when they were younger. They are the people that have learned a lot with their lives.

You may see them buy some expensive stuff and luxuries but it is like a reward for all of their hard work for several years unlike the kids that have grown rich and are easy to spend their parents money.
1345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Someone Deposited Money Into My Bitcoin Wallet. Can He Withdraw it? on: December 10, 2023, 10:44:34 AM
@OP that is a good payment term to you if you are also interested in investing in Bitcoin. As everyone have already told you.

That guy will not have anyway of getting or accessing your bitcoin because he doesn't own the private keys.

Now, your job is to keep the private keys and never show it to anyone. If you ever have saved it before making that wallet, do not save it on emails or any other cloud storages.
1346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whas this a smart move or stupid move? on: December 10, 2023, 09:46:46 AM
Well, if you seem to be okay with that burning fees as you save your balance there.

If I am on that position, I will get out of the kitchen as bonk probably have been into its peak and you will not know if it is still safe to go there.

Most folks have already cashed out their profits there.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: December 10, 2023, 08:20:26 AM

1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Qatar's sovereign wealth fund eyes $500B bitcoin investment on: December 10, 2023, 07:21:17 AM

--> https://blockonomi.com/huge-if-true-100k-bitcoin-god-candle-qatar-eyes-multi-billion-dollar-bitcoin-investment/

Well, it is a wealth fund so they should really look at assets they can invest in but if for Bitcoin. We need more news and confirmation from the Qatari government.
1349  Other / Off-topic / Re: ChatGPT anonymous access? on: December 10, 2023, 04:44:19 AM
It has the free version, so usually we are the product and that is why they are blocking TOR access.

I am not sure if the paid version allows you access them anonymously.

Have you seen it if it is like that?
1350  Other / Off-topic / Re: Making a New Year resolution plan is Important. on: December 09, 2023, 11:36:34 PM
New year, new plans, sounds good. But you don't need to wait for new year or new week to start something.
Exactly.

You don't have to wait each year's ending and the next year's opening for you to start something. All is a plan until they're all executed. Execution is the most important part.

If it's all about resolutions and plans, you are not doing any better. That's why with all of these things that we're planning all year long, how many of them have been executed or until now and next year, will they remain a plan and a resolution?
1351  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just be ignorant or invest just risk? on: December 09, 2023, 10:52:43 PM
Only one option? It's hard but being ignorant seems to be insulting in something where many people are doing good.

But with failures and making mistakes, there's a correlation of these two. If the failure isn't meant to be and the mistake is like an honest mistake, then that sounds music to my ears.

Anyway, I'd also want to avoid both as much as possible. I'm done doing lots of mistakes in the past though.  Tongue
1352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: December 09, 2023, 10:29:01 PM
Right, as long as it is an asset that's volatile then the risk can't be taken away. And with Bitcoin, it's more than just a P2P method and transfer that we can do because it's more used as an investment or store of value than a payment method.

In fact, if BTC feels safe, it is safe. but if you often worry about investing with the fear of loss in mind, anxiety will always come. This is where it is important to read and find out first what BTC really is specifically for those who want to start investing when they have entered and keep pressing the gas.
We've already figured out what BTC really is. Now, the purpose varies on the person if you'll see it as something very risky at all and your money won't be safe.

That's what people think of what risky is. Before it was all about the thoughts of being scam and now we're done with that era as everybody has accepted it already.

1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: First winning can be a trap on: December 09, 2023, 09:55:08 PM
The first attempt of gambling by anyone that the result comes out to be a win can be a trap if one is not careful and conscious. Have noticed people who plays gambling on their first attempt and win thinks gambling is very easy because they were lucky to have a win in the first attempt,  whenever it happens like this with beginners they still want to play  more and as they continue it is just a simple strategy to lose all they won in their first attempt,  it is important new gamblers shouldn't tricked to play more expecting to continue to have more wins.
That is usual, when someone wins for their very first bet then things seems to be easy for them.

It could be a trap for them when they all started because no one will stop a new gambler when experiencing these things. The mindset that shall be made is going to be the way they like it.

There will be more realizations in the end and that's the natural process of gamblers whether they get good or bad results.
1354  Other / Off-topic / Re: Solana Ecosystem on: December 09, 2023, 02:09:06 PM
Solana is a major Layer-1 ecosystem with large number of projects built on it. Because of the rapid growth of solana lately alot of solana based projects are developing. There are many mainnet projects also where users can interact and get rewards.
People are overhyping the gains that they're seeing with solana. While it's a good project for those who holds it and sees that the community is supporting it.

I am not one of you guys but if you are seeing that your gains are vast, don't forget to start taking those profits because you will never know when it's going to start dropping.

As much as I can see, we're not yet there and this can be a long season for you guys so enjoy.
1355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should newbies do in trading? on: December 09, 2023, 12:54:43 PM
I'm also beginner in trading. I trade since this summer and I lost about $90 on $120 account. Recently I make $20 on last $34.
Throughout my journey in trading, I read Jack Schwager's book, watched many educational videos on YouTube, read many articles on the educational sections of CEX exchanges, and also talked with many traders. It seems to me that I understand enough about technical analysis, trading systems and trader psychology. But I'm at a dead end and don't know what to do next. Other traders advised me to just trade, but I think that over time I will lose my remaining $45, and demo trading does not bring such emotions and I don’t want to try hard when trading it
That's actually what I am about to say, to just trade.

Things will be learned eventually and if you think that you do know more and understand a lot with technical analysis then it means that you're better than me, honestly.

Just do it and you'll get to adapt the survivability of your money in trading because it's like a normal reaction that you need to do better.
1356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this the path you should take to become successful? on: December 09, 2023, 11:20:01 AM
The fire that burns in your heart should be seen when you're looking to become successful. Everyone is stepping on the same procedure while a very little number of people that don't have to go through the typical process of being successful because they're born rich.

Whether you have a good job or a business, what makes you think that you should keep working on? That's the reason why someone has to work hard and smart because of motivation that burns the fire in the heart.

Success in career, success in business, success in love life, health, etc. You choose what kind of success you want to have and work on it.
1357  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do we really need a lot of foods?? on: December 09, 2023, 02:16:46 AM
As we grow older, we need lesser food because the toxins that we eat from food might cause us diseases and that's why the lesser and healthier we eat much better.

i suggest that we pick the food we consume very carefully and control how much of it will be good even some fruits, albeit healthy, still have so much sugar that if we eat a lot of it it might be dangerous
Yeah, sugar is addictive and that's why when we're kids we like it and even as adults, it's still addicting. I am trying to pick and monitor my intakes especially with drinks because they're tasty, the sugary drinks aka sodas.

the amount of food we consume will also depend on how much we need or we’re going to burn off if you are an athlete your diet might differ from other people
I am not an athlete and usually sits a long time but I do some of the workouts that I need when I go out and make sure that I sweat a lot. That's why even if I eat sometimes too much, I can still manage.
1358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking forward to invest on: December 09, 2023, 01:11:52 AM
I want to make an investment with just $50 as a beginner i don't know which coin am i to start with but i heard been hearing a lot of people both physically and on social networks saying incredible things about (BTC), that is the best. please i need your assistance ??
Yes, Bitcoin is the best.

There's no need for you to think with that amount but to start with Bitcoin. That may be too low for the old time investors here but that's already a good start.

All you have to do is to start and buy that with Bitcoin. Fees right now have dropped so that should be fine.
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: On retirement on: December 09, 2023, 12:13:46 AM
What term retirement usually denotes to is, to stop working. People often don't like job, so to retire usually tends to be on top of the list. However, if one likes what he does, he will do something similar to pass the time even after retirement.
This is true.

Someone who likes what he's been doing if it's a job or a hobby that makes him happy and earn money, he'll never retire to that. Who likes job? We all hate it when we're working on a job that we don't like but we have to go to office for our needs and salary.

But it's a different thing if it's about retirement, we all want to get out of the zone where we're always monitored by the company, scolded by the boss sometimes.

That's why those old people that don't retire but keep going on with their passion or hobby and fortunately, they're making money out of it, they don't see it as a job but just having fun and no word as retirement to them will be heard.
1360  Other / Off-topic / Re: Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming on: December 08, 2023, 11:29:24 PM
Exactly and the trailer they've made has been in so much hype.
Many, many views on the YouTube trailer, simply incredible, it shows that this franchise is the most powerful in world entertainment, considering everything about entertainment on planet Earth, GTA is simply epic
Well, after a decade of wait. I guess that they know how to tickle their customers since this franchise is also being sought by the majority.

This only means that the game they're developing is flawless and desirable because of the stories that they're putting on and the game features that they're putting.

Coming from the oldest to the newest, it's always like a blockbuster for Rock Star.
