1361  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: July 12, 2014, 07:09:51 PM
how is this site with disconnect refunds?

the site stopped working. i was registered in 3 hu sngs. 25, 50, and 100.

my internet WAS working. i was surfing and youtubing, and torrent downloading. i know it was working. by the time i got back, i was almost blinded out in all 3. another proof that the internet working was even when i had just a couple hundred chips left it stopped working again!, i just refeshed the page, (i play on browser) and it the page refreshes quickly and normally. so internet was in fact working. had to re login for AGAIN, this last time, i couldn't see my cards. ended up shoving blindly because it was my best chance since another disconnect seemed very likely.

this is very disturbing to me. as all other websites including yours were working fine/perfectly. but the game just stopped on my end.

refund please. i can profide any info you need. i know this has to be something on your end, and not mine which is why i'm posting here.

i had 25 chips left in the 25, and about 500 chips left in the 50 and 100. i would just ask for equity back, but i got disconnected again!?

screenname: chrisjones

i'm an affiliate for your site, and i've been playing on and off as well different names over the course of a year or 2?. i do play poker professionally and the amount of 175 doesn't mean a great deal to me, i'm not begging for a refund, but i do have expect some kind of response to be made.

Don't surf porn sites and get preoccupied when you have games open. Sucks though guy prob realized you where sitting out and snap sat down at other 2 pretty grimy. Who was it Ill bet it was the same person in all 3.
Seems highly plausible.  Borderline dirty but within the rules it would seem.  Kind of a kin to sitting across from a real player and seeing that he's distracted 115% by some gorgeous woman.
1362  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 12, 2014, 06:38:57 PM
Two things need to happen for cryptx to become a profitable venture for anybody but cryptx himself:
1.) Lower electric/hosting fee's.  Allegedly running off 100% green energy right now so .50/kw/h between scrypt and sha projects is just absolutely outrageous (have been harping on this point for sometime)
2.) In house chip/board development.  Obviously purchasing pre-fabbed hardware from somebody else isn't going to do one iota insofar as capturing a larger % of total hashrate is concerned.

*I seriously doubt either of these will be happening given that cryptx-sha is essentially a cex.io like GHS platform now with far less volume.  And again, he's pulling a pretty damn decent income of nearly 70BTC/week just maintaining the status quo.

yep and yep.  overhead costs have to come down. hashrate has to come up, and not at retail prices, or even volume discount numbers from manufacturers.  some of that value add, ie, technical expertise has to be brought in house.  there are a range of options for that, from designing things from ground up, to purchasing hashboards/chips/PSU's/cooling and knocking them together.

*I'm hoping he realizes that this project is likely on limited time unless he changes the status quo.  I do believe in self preservation as a pretty effective motivator.  Hell who wants a real job when you can bank it on your own.

I do wonder about his experience level in running a business.  One of the hardest things for people that run their own business, and think they know everything better than anyone else possibly could, is to ask for help or admit that maybe they're in over their heads or overwhelmed.  If the path is not crystal clear put the ego aside and get the people in that can round out the mission.
Couldn't agree with you more...and obviously Cryptx is no dummy (hell, he's the only one making anything on this venture atm) so I suspect that he more than anyone is aware that this project is literally a slow-bleed at this point given no hardware reinvestment at all.  I guess only time will tell.

Though I'm pretty worried about the ego part you mention too.  Fat bitcoin wallets have a tendency to increase people's ego's I have found sadly :/

1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 12, 2014, 05:05:47 PM
If this is a really scam I am wondering why they dont make any FAKE prototype (just fake pcb + some heatsinks) or maybe FAKE rack chassis - it will be cost max 500pounds even less, and they can scam more people for doing that.

Because it is not a scam per se. It is rather we have tried but it went broken story.

Yes the initiative was there and aspiration was there but the competence was not.  They did not go into this attempting to scam people, but now that they have failed on so many levels (transparency, prototypes, billing, partnerships) they are circling the wagons to protect themselves.  So they will do their best to try to throw together some kind of defence absolving themselves of all guilty and justify keeping the money they have taken from their customers.  So it didn't start as a scam but it became one.
Quite possible but the big question then becomes, at what point where they themselves aware that this entire venture was a failure and why in the hell did they send out e-mails requiring remaining 70% payment of pre-orders?  I strongly suspect they knew this thing was going to fail well before requesting remaining payments from existing order holders.  That IS scam-like behavior imho.
1365  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 12, 2014, 05:00:56 PM
a yearly return of 251%.

Can you spot a trend since the loaned hardware came online?

Yeah, multiplying todays div by 365 makes as much sense as anyone who did it when peta mined nearly 100BTC / day.

True enough.  Will only get worse from here too.

BTW, no mention from cryptx as to what the newly adjusted 0.075/share for loan payback will be repriced at nor am I seeing any 65100 share (14*4650) sell order anywhere on the books.

Anybody else taken a look at their [Book Value] for petamine shares since the stock split?  I nearly shat myself when I saw it then quickly realized they are more than likely not accounting for 14:1 issuance.

Very interesting concept for weeding out unscrupulous buyers.  Have you actually found that this method works?

*Also for anybody on the fence regarding purchasing from this fella I can vouch for the two cards I purchased through him with BTC.

Please respond in $/kw/h
1369  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: VirtuaChange | Buy BTC with PayPal | GUARANTEED Lowest Price on the Market on: July 12, 2014, 04:46:11 PM
@RainMan28: We are not a scam, if you think we are please post some proof here.

My proof is that you have a brand new account, don't have the 25,000 transactions that you claim, and are selling BTC for under market value.

This is definitely a scam. If you're not a scam, I'll be happy to buy some BTC from you at the rate stated above ($603.03 USD) through escrow.

Would you be willing to accept escrow from one of the trusted escrow members on here?  Smiley
+1, provided your willing to escrow the BTC first I to would be willing to try your service out.  If not, highly suspect.

Provided that you are actually legit, can you please share with us how you plan on handling unscrupulous buyers that initiate paypal chargebacks for BTC that they've purchased via this method?

lmfao.  Your joking right?
Wasn't joking, just thought you were SamboNZ
Ahh.  Honest mistake on your part then.  Have nothing to do with SamboNZ and I try to call em as I see them.  I'm strongly against people that try to pull that kinda crap!  Don't try pawning your worthless shares off on other "unknowing" victims just because you screwed up is my motto.  And trust me, I've screwed up plenty of times!
1371  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 12, 2014, 03:10:12 PM
What you, Puppet and fonsie fail/refuse to acknowledge is that Peta has come through 2 or 3 times now for its shareholders when the circumstances changed.  Mining is a tough business for sure - preorder delays, massive increases in network hashrate, etc - but it seems to me Peta has done a good job of looking after its shareholders.  Certainly better than most operations I've been watching.  That's why I held on to some shares.

Too bad they gave up posting here, but I can't blame them for that.
Strongly disagree.  Please give 1 example where cryptx has "come through" for it's shareholders?

Do agree with the too bad they gave up posting here comment, but also disagree with can't blame them for that.  There's a really good reason they aren't posting here anymore imho.  proverbial cat's outta the bag you might say.

i have bought my first PETA units on Wednesday - do I get any, none or parts dividends for my partly period?

Ouch, you walked in with both feet. Be prepared to lose some BTC.
care to explain, why?
It's the nature of the mining game at this point...particularly static bond issuances that have a fixed hash rate.  Hold your shares for another couple of weeks and the truth will reveal itself fairly quickly.

*on another note, lmao @ havelock.  Pretty much like clockwork they crash at some point after cryptx pays out it's dividends.  Obviously wasn't designed with alot of scalability in mind!

For all those who favor a "proactive approach" in doing pro-bitcoin lobbying and explaining bitcoin to officials by licking their boots: Here's what you'll get!

As I said before: Negotiation can only work if both parties have equal power.

Don't waste your time to campaign for bitcoin. Now is the time to improve bitcoin technology so it can withstand the efforts of all those brainless regulation fetishists and remain fully fungible.

+1

I find it curious that each countries stance on bitcoin seem's to be directly inline with the overall state of said countries economy.  The more trouble a countries economy is in, the less favorable it's regulatory policy regarding bitcoin will be.
1377  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest BFL z ASIC 600GH / s - dividends paid on: July 11, 2014, 04:02:51 PM
What is it, a stock simular to APG1 on cryptostocks ?
You have something mining now and is going to get 1 or more ASIC's bought from KnCMiner ?

It would probably be good for you if you had the description in Englich to and not only in Polish, google translate isen't that good at translating Polish.

I'll take a wild guess that googles translating means you have bought a 100 GH miner from KnC and was aiming to buy 6 more miners from KnC, 400GH versions with the help from investors ?
I think the pricing of KnC's biggest miner is 6995 $ at the moment(not 6999$) and it will be less than 5000 $ when they come to November delivery's, if the orderbook will fill up that long thou, a 5000 usd order will only be slightly better then the last few days of 6995 usd orders and hardly a good buy by then.

0,56 cent per Kwh is very high powercost if that is US cents you mean so running any mining operation in Polen if you have such rates there isen't such good ide, even an ASIC miner will get effected sooner or later by the powercosts and the one with the higest rates will get into the negative return fastest.

Switching to buying anything from BFL is almost garateed to be a bad move, that company have over a year backlog on most of there products and such scammers shoulden't be rewarded with more preorders whether they will ever deliver any new generation miners and whether that will be before or after there backlog of the old ones.
Most likely BFL dosen't have any new generation miners or at least they will not (be able to) deliver anything in correct time to buyers and will use customers devices to mine with themself and only deliver in masses to buyers when the miners is close to unprofitable to mine with for themselfs with.
Also if those cards from BFL is projected to hit the market in November/December they may very well be unprofitable (at the price they charge for them) to mine with from the first day there delivered.

How is dividend calculated to shareholders now and how will it be calculated when you recieve your 100 GH miner you ordered and how will it be calculated if/when any other miners from KnCMiner or from other companys is bought ?
Only bringing this thread back from the dead to say investing with APG1 turned out to be even worse than my BFL investment.  At least I have a few good blowdryers for my gal's hair with the BFL unit's (yes, pretty much all they are good for at this point)  APG project turned out to be a complete BUST!
