Who are the CS2 fans here? G2 esports is also now in Dota 2. They've just sponsored a team and it's not just a team but one of the strong teams in the Chinese region, the Invictus Gaming.

They'll be now G2.IG.

More and more teams are going into the Dota 2 this time and I hope that there will be more because a lot of teams don't have a sponsor as of now.
1362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: December 08, 2023, 09:52:39 PM
Is not that's Bitcoin is a risky project to invest in but it is because the market is very volatile which can be make price to shift away from the point we bought it to the opposite trend. Those who does not understand the market can get confused and invest in the market at the wrong time and unfortunately they could sell their holdings and end up losing in the market. It is good for us to have a solid understanding about how the market works which is going to guide every of our actions and make us to make profits from the market.
The volatility that can be seen is the one that's being looked upon for being risky. You're right.

It's not risky because it is a risky project, it is risky because just like any other assets and investments, all of them have risk and that's what people should look at when it's about the risk assessment they do for Bitcoin.

While those that have no knowledge about investments and bitcoin per se, they're at the risk as well for not knowing a thing or two for what they do.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 08, 2023, 09:20:51 PM
We all know the recent issue about the mixer status here in the forum. Crypto casino is also being use for money laundering by some criminals that’s why every casino has AML policy.

I’m just curious what will be the fate of crypto casino once money laundering activity from mixer will jump to casino now that mixer will not be advertised here which means it has less exposure. Is there any possibility that crypto casino will be seized by the government just like what happened to mixers in case they failed to screen the laundering activity?
There's also the other thread that concerns the money laundering and shutdown due to the mixers taking down.

As I have said there, there's nothing to worry about if the casino is registered. If there are illegal activities that happens there, they'll be the one that shall be passed on the problem.

And if there are customers that will be taking their advantage on these casinos, they'll also be flagged down and will be banned permanently to not gamble with them anymore.

As we grow older, we need lesser food because the toxins that we eat from food might cause us diseases and that's why the lesser and healthier we eat much better.

I don't think that we need a lot of food everyday. Look at the Japanese people, they only eat what they body needs and they don't get full every meal.

Just the enough one.

That's a dream job that you just have to step a few steps from your bed to start working. It's an ideal one and nothing wrong if you're working without stepping others and you're not harming anyone.

Just to mind people that working online these days are like a typical thing to do and nothing wrong when you chose to work conveniently than be a martyr to a job that pays you less and you're tired and overworked.
he is in Online job also mate before quitting meaning he is also steps few from his bed , but what he have now is few steps to becoming a millionaire
because in trading and in crypto as long as you are willing to learn and earn with time and dedication ? success will be yours .
While I like it when someone becomes successful in any trade that he does whether it's inside the crypto market or not. But to say that he's gonna be a millionaire, maybe on his local currency.

Although I don't want to encourage people like that because there can be something odd with those encouragement that they might not like.

Yes, he's close to success and he just have to work his way on it.

These moves from these teams that they think the region where their team is located should have to do something by releasing first their roster and moving to another region.

But I don't think that they'll be in this time for Dota 2. Maybe when the next TI is approaching, that's the time that they're going to form a new squad but IMO, not just this time.
I agree it's looking grim after they've given up their LCS (LoL) spot to Shopify Rebellion and now they released their Dota team.

Boom also dropped most of their players yesterday(tweet) and I guess they'll try to look for another set of players that can mesh with Pakasz before the DreamLeague qualifier starts.
Boom was not wise at all.

When they've been champs on a major on the SEA with their former roster. That's actually the momentum that they need but they fail to maintain that roster, skem, yopaj, etc. + stand in from Singapore, I forgot the name of that offlaner.

But that guy gained popularity so quick but didn't last when he can't find a new team to take him and the same goes for the former roster. Look at the talents that played for them, they're one of the best players on their region now.
1367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: December 07, 2023, 11:24:45 PM
Bitcoin is totally a high risky asset
Right, as long as it is an asset that's volatile then the risk can't be taken away. And with Bitcoin, it's more than just a P2P method and transfer that we can do because it's more used as an investment or store of value than a payment method.

and anyone who enter bitcoin investment without sufficient knowledge and understanding on the crypto market will find bitcoin investment as a way to lose more.
This is in general for majority investments. There's a greater risk when you don't know what you come up with.

I like more when there are spaces when I read because when text's are near to each other, I hardly read them and I need to zoom out. While if there's a space, I don't understand why I feel like it's easier to read.

But this is just a preference and the content and what we reply is what matter most. There are so long replies that are just like circling all over the same thoughts but no point taken. There are few liners that has the exact thought so, that's what matters if we're into discussions. I understand the point of this, it's about preference of what's easier to read.

Well, that's a fact that money laundering activities will keep on happening and those that with lots of money that came from bad activities will still continue to do it.

While for those that are just casual gamblers, want to have some fun will probably be accused by the casino where they gamble because it happened to some users that they've been falsely accused.
Money laundering will continue to occur, and the government will find it increasingly difficult to track it because money launderers may use many methods to continue their illegal activities. But of course, that hasn't stopped the government from continuing to try to track him down. They will use all means to find the money launderers and punish them.

We who are just ordinary gamblers can only gamble as usual, not use big money, and only use gambling as entertainment. That will keep us away from the suspicion of the casino, and we will still be free to gamble.
That's why there is nothing to worry about.

If someone is worried about the current casino that he's working with through a campaign, don't think of it as long as you see nothing wrong with them as most of them are licensed.

That's it, and true that ML are going to continue as this activity is almost everywhere even in real life casinos and other services that we don't know outside crypto world.
1371  Other / Off-topic / Re: Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming on: December 07, 2023, 02:31:13 PM
The new games are unbelievably good but it remains to be seen how GTA 6 fares. As for the consoles that will be able to run it a potential 2023/4 release means we'll be firmly in the PS5/Xbox Series X generation. But it's possible that Rockstar will release a version for PS4 and Xbox One if it feels generous. The delay can be caused by a reason that can happen with any game on the market.
For the older consoles, they might release it as well but if they don't then that's fine and much better to get a newer version of these consoles.

While the PC gamers, we're just waiting for the actual release. It might be a surprise announcement but I think that they'd just do that after their console release.

The gap between the release of GTA 5 and GTA 6 may be due to GTA 6 itself.
Exactly and the trailer they've made has been in so much hype.

Did you see that TSM abandoned their tag? They returned to the name Undying. In general, when I saw TSM, every time I remembered their sponsorship from the FTX crypto exchange. This is ingrained in my memory due to the fact that I lost some of my funds there(
That is unfortunate for the TSM players, but it was inevitable after that FTX issue.

Others hope that TSM might move to a different region due to the last part they mentioned in the tweet, maybe switching to another region (like EG and Alliance). There are a lot of decent teams without an org atm, but securing some form of prize money has become more difficult after they took out the DPC.
These moves from these teams that they think the region where their team is located should have to do something by releasing first their roster and moving to another region.

But I don't think that they'll be in this time for Dota 2. Maybe when the next TI is approaching, that's the time that they're going to form a new squad but IMO, not just this time.
1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Superb Bitcoin on: December 07, 2023, 08:55:35 AM
Bitcoin has a maximum potential in the digital currency world, yet it can also be of the overall leading coin in the crypto world who's ranking can never be equivalent to others. Bitcoin can be of a use not just now but also in the future that is why it has a five star ranking in the crypto world.
The way things are moving around the nation, which has not yet had an impact on cryptocurrencies, will soon do so in light of the promising future that lies ahead.
Well, its top ranking isn't just on the crypto market for being 5 star or top one. But look at this statistics made by this website for having the most market capitalization in the world. Bitcoin sits currently on #9 and IIRC, it was more than 10 a few months ago and look how quick it is moving and expect that it'll move faster during this bull run.

IIRC, there have been threads or campaigns or bounties before that involved. I can't vividly remember if those were like giveaways or actual bounties and that's why they've got some idea about our community here.

They know where they've started and just like the other successful projects these days, this is the place where they have all come from before they've left this space and finally focused on their own journeys.

Well, if they can give some credits by just including the image of the forum on their articles or tweets or posts, that's already good enough IMO.

I think Didi Taihuttu is also on this forum, for those that don't know him. He's the one that's been on the news on 2016 about selling his house for Bitcoin.

How about the word HODL? The one who invented it is here --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375643.0

How about laszlo? The famous 10k BTC/ pizza. --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

Don't think of it too much.

As long as they're paying their taxes, they're registered, they are licensed. There's nothing gonna happen to them just because some mixing company have been taken down.

I know that the worry is there because money laundering is no question in these casinos. But there should be a news already before if they're also on the hot seat of the regulators.
Yes, we should not think too much about it because well-known casinos will always try to comply with the regulations issued by the government. They won't try to break the rules even once because that could get the casino in trouble, and they might end up paying a fine for breaking the rules.

Money laundering cases will definitely continue, but people who launder money may also have found other ways or places to continue laundering money. We must stay at the casino that we have used to gamble, and that casino must be trusted and popular.
Well, that's a fact that money laundering activities will keep on happening and those that with lots of money that came from bad activities will still continue to do it.

While for those that are just casual gamblers, want to have some fun will probably be accused by the casino where they gamble because it happened to some users that they've been falsely accused.

The only way casino can stop laundering is by checking every deposit source which is very hard to maintain especially if you have tons of player actively making deposits and withdrawal.
It will take time if they're going to do that but with automation and AI, maybe possible.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: help me not to leave btc on: December 06, 2023, 10:29:29 PM
And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?
Ask yourself if you have money to DCA to Bitcoin. The plans are easy to make but the execution and doing it is what the hardest part to do.

We can give you the plans that you want to hear but upon hearing those, are you sure that you're going to follow all of it? Because with what I know, most of the people that asks advises from the other people, they don't take heed and won't follow.

That's why, you can do your own strategy on this one. Sell every stuff that you have that has no relation to Bitcoin and use that fund for buying it and in that sense, you're not going to leave Bitcoin.
1378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc and eth general trading stradegy best so far on: December 06, 2023, 09:59:02 PM
That's to simplify things but are you going to do that every time that you're in front of your computer or you bring your phone with you all of the time?

But that's a good strategy for buying orders and that's what others need to understand what it means to buy at low and not to miss any single opportunity when they knock.

However, that's why I've come to ask that question, because most exchanges allows you to put order and limit only once for each crypto.
1379  Other / Off-topic / Re: Im new here on: December 06, 2023, 09:28:57 PM
Well, for OP if you really were scammed and was able to recover it then that's so good for you. But let me just look at what happened to you.

It's like telling that you've been scammed, your ex-BF came to rescue you and traced the hacker with the name and all of her stuff/data.

And then asked to send you back the money. Hmmm, sounds a legit story and thieves won't do such acts like that IMO.  Roll Eyes
1380  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 06, 2023, 08:48:58 PM
With fortunejack, they've been established and been here for so long and only a few complaints were there. With rollbit, you go to the scam accusations board and you see a lot of them.

Not saying that they're poor in service or what not but there's a difference between the two. And if you're going to deposit such amounts, you should do it little by little.

Both have been here for so long and IMHO, are good to 'fine' casinos.
