Predictions for Jody's Blog Tonight?

Today was the day they were to be awash in assemblers and components.

They felt compelled to issue a Saturday update which included no movement on anything except 10 days of singles.

12 working days left and on average tonight they have to ship 20 days of singles (plus everything else) every single day.

1390  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 16, 2013, 01:48:53 AM

Turn this into a new thread/poll so BFL actually sees it. I dont see ANY downside other than BFL losing money

You are welcome to do that if you think it will help.

The question of whether BFL was mining the rigs during burnin was answered by Josh on the Shoutbox some time ago. As I receall, he indicated that the units are not mining the blockchain but running nonces on a test network in their office FWIW. There was a comment to the effect that it would be too time consuming to set up individual machines to mine the blockchain while burning in. Joe's approach may alleviate that perhaps.

Well maybe BCP or PG could bring the idea to Josh now that they have a relationship with him

1391  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL & The Reasons For the VERY VERY slow deliverys on: September 16, 2013, 12:02:48 AM
THEY CAN & COULD DELIVERY EVERYTHING IN TWO WEEKS but they DONT BY DESIGN

You know how I detest BFL, but sorry your statement above is just untrue.

Look at the history of his last 100 posts.

You'd be lucky to get this by New Years and you want 3 times what you paid for it?

How about BTC5?
1395  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 15, 2013, 05:02:10 AM

Here is some free advice Josh,

Instead of coding chip vouchers, classified sections to transfer orders here is something you can work on for something I like to call increased (or in your case an attempt to salvage..) customer satisfaction.

Create a mining pool for BFL customers who are still waiting for their hardware,
load it with wallet addresses that we each put into our user profile.

Put everyone in the pool.

Burn in all the BFL gear to that pool, so we can split the earnings,
and while you are at it, throw 10 Mini-Rigs into the pool as a show of good faith.

When you ship our orders leave us in the pool until you have really cleared the backlog.

What would that cost you? Bigger question what would that gain you?

These are the things us real world C Suite people do.

Best. Fucking. Idea. Yet - Joe -you are genius. What are the odds someone is listening?

1397  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1.5Th/s (3x 500Gh) BFL Minirig Order #170XX - Feb 2013 Preorder on: September 15, 2013, 04:57:33 AM
Let's see how this goes. Please be civil.  Smiley

I'm looking to sell a 1500Gh Mini-Rig order, now that BFL allows transfers. I will not be able to power these units as I had originally hoped so they are up to a good home.

The Order is #170XX, placed and paid on Feb 22 2013. Asking $28000 through bank transfer or BTC but I am open to offers.  That's less than $19/GH!!!

Escrow can be provided through John K or other, to be released once the order has been transferred through the BFL website to your account.

Please reply here or PM me regarding offers, questions, or proof regarding the order.  Thank you.

Can you power them if they come in a 8 - 60gh Singles because that is what is going to happen.

I have received every item I've purchased from them so far. My late Aug orders were just received. They are indeed picking up the pace

Oh Boy they shipped your August 2012 order?!?! Isn't that great, you only had to wait 13 months and you are happy about it.
