1381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Kraken will enable BCH - Bitcoin Cash on: July 28, 2017, 08:21:39 AM
This is worrying. If i understand correctly, i will be giving FREE MONEY (in the form of BCC) as long as i have BTC deposited in Kraken? Sound likes free and easy money.

What effect will this have on btc price? I'd sell immediately and cash out most likely.
1382  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How profitable is it to enter into the mining business now? on: July 19, 2017, 06:39:16 AM
You'd be looking at about a 200-250 day ROI for any rig you build, price of electricity depending.

I wouldn't advise it.

I wouldn't advise it either. A 200-250 day ROI would be okay in other circumstances but there are too many risks (like price fluctuations, equipment failure, etc) that could extend that ROI indefinitely.

Hello Everyone,
I'm suffering an Internet blackout.
Once I fix my Internet I will try to reply to PMs and posts.

Regards,
Bitcoin Boy.

Thanks for the update. Im still waiting for my payment for last week. I sent you a PM regarding the matter.
1384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Experts! is it time to sell or buy? on: July 08, 2017, 11:43:29 AM
"Be greedy when others are fearful"
-someone famous

Buy now while its cheap. High risk high reward.
1385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1060 6gb rigs is a good idea ? on: July 08, 2017, 11:39:05 AM
1060 6gbs are good if you cant find any cheap 1070s. 300 sols zcash hash rate should be the norm. Theyre pretty good esp if youre just starting.

The question is should you even be starting, now that ETH is about to go POS..
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to SIACOIN ? on: July 07, 2017, 03:27:24 PM
You guys should read the SIA blog. The ASIC is good for sia and was well though out. Sia is undervalued right now and is a very very good buy.
Read it for yourself: https://blog.sia.tech

1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT COIN IS WORTH HOLDING FOR ATLEAST A YEAR FROM NOW? on: July 06, 2017, 03:56:08 PM
Id personally go for the ff (in order):

ETH
LTC
SIA

Solid tech behind these babies and potential for growth is there.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 06, 2017, 03:54:28 PM
Monero updates are so hard to come by. I wonder what the devs are doing at the moment. Been too long without updates guys...
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 06, 2017, 01:02:37 PM
My lyra2v2 is barely getting to 52, but I'm on Linux and haven't tweaked anything except for intensity and fan speed. Did I lose the silicon lottery?

Also, why does my nicehash hash rate always start high and end low...

I installed the gaco-mod and I'm earning a bit more with Equihash. I used to earn the best with lyra and lbry, but now equihash brings in more.

Are you using nicehash and not directly mining with a pool? If so, id really recommend switching away from nicehash. You could be earning more by directly pooling with nanopool for example.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU's For Mining? on: July 06, 2017, 01:00:43 PM
IMHO the best would be 2nd hand video cards. You get ROI faster.

Of course, go for the best profit/power-consumption ratio. Nicehash has a great tool for this. https://nicehash.com/?p=calc
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to figure out total power draw of a GPU? on: July 06, 2017, 12:58:45 PM
Onboard sensors usually are accurate for giving ballpark ranges. Of course, measuring TDP at the wall is best. If you want deeper analysis, there are power meters out there that have daily consumption readings. Bought mine from amazon.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CORSAIR RM1000i 4+ GPU Does not Power on on: July 06, 2017, 12:56:08 PM
It could have something to do with your motherboard. Are you able to boot into BIOS? I believe there are some settings you first need to configure with PCIE. There should be guides on this on google.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.6 (Windows/Linux) on: July 06, 2017, 12:53:43 PM
Has anyone done a computation of Mr. Claymores total earnings to date? Pretty safe to safe hes a billionaire about now right?

Why is that question? Do you think that his work should be free? Do you think that his software should give you money for free? Lets be real people, just because someone had idea and knowledge does not mean that you can shit about it.

Are you retarded? Im just admiring the mans work. Im all for paying him his dev fees. He deserves it. Was just a simple question bro.
1395  Economy / Exchanges / Minimum deposit in poloniex? on: July 06, 2017, 12:50:29 PM
Hey guys, i cant seem to google any answers with regards to minimum deposit amounts in poloniex.

Im trying to figure out what is the minimum deposit for the ff:

ETH
DECRED
SIA
1396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where should i invest 45 BTC risk free on: July 06, 2017, 12:48:47 PM
I think OP is looking for low risk investments options. The risk free statement should not be taken literally.

Anyway, id personally go for lending on poloniex around (0.9% per day) or depositing at freebitco.in (4% annually).
Congrats on the 45 btc.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: July 06, 2017, 12:45:19 PM
Theres so much bad publicity surrounding this ICO. Seems like a money making scheme that does nothing but build from existing tech. I wonder what some people see in it, aside from making a quick buck.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum best for investment? on: July 06, 2017, 12:42:58 PM
Yes, That is right but what about long term investment.

For long term investment, i'd say definitely go for it. Eth is bound to rise sooner or later. Good luck mate!
1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Rollout of 260,000+ Bitcoin-Accepting Stores in Japan Begins on: July 05, 2017, 07:44:35 AM
Source?

I doubt any store would openly accept bitcoin and wait for hours just to confirm customer payment. Imagine the line queues. LOL
What a joke. Bitcoin is not for store transactions. Litecoin is the way to go.
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 05, 2017, 07:04:06 AM
Found out from a local bitcoin exchange that was giving $1 free for signup and account verification. Been addicted to crypto ever since.
