141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: May 15, 2024, 04:57:07 PM
Everyone has a different opinion when it comes to work or employment.
Some might consider crypto earners as unemployed, but for others as long as you are doing something and earning through it, then they would consider it as work or employed.
There were so many people who considered me as an unemployed even though I am earning in crypto and my earning before was even higher than a regular wage earner.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful with people's money on: May 15, 2024, 03:30:44 PM
This isn't something new, and this is also the reason why you shouldn't trust people so easily.
I also watched a video in the past, I am not sure if it was the engineer or what but the fund that was supposed to be used to build their customers house was used by that person on gambling and lose.
It is hard to trust people with a huge amount of money sometimes this could also happen with someone close to us, business partners or even relatives there are some who would do this due to their greed.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy is a failure if you are consistent with it on: May 15, 2024, 01:00:00 PM
I think every gambler has tried the Martingale method once, and in theory it's perfect  Cheesy

I remember a few years ago I tested it with dice, and as I used cryptos, I had enough decimal places so I didn't need to have such a high value, but it was a considerable amount
At first it worked well, but I had a losing streak, I think it was 12 or 16 I don't remember exactly, and I lost my entire bankroll hahaha
It seems impossible to lose 12 or 16 bets in a row, but it's not
I learned martingale strats on youtube thought that it was a great strat to earn money.
I think all of us knew the result that I got, I left it running and continue my day since that is what I saw on youtube.
When I come back I laugh and learned not to trust all video online.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as job salary - Yay or Nay? on: May 15, 2024, 12:45:40 PM
It would be great, but we still need Fiat in order to pay up since we couldn't pay everything with crypto right now.
If they would offer me such thing maybe I would ask if they could be paid half in crypto and half in Fiat, so that I could save up from paying fee on converting crypto to fiat vice versa.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: May 14, 2024, 11:47:04 PM
I would love that to happen, but if it does that only means that most people already accepts crypto as a payment method.
I also think that it would help me save and invest more, I could avoid the transaction fee when converting my Fiat into crypto, it would also help me spend less, I have a tendency to overspend when I have cash, I would spend more than what I needed (e.g when buying groceries or going out).
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Also consider your mental State of health while investing for wealths. on: May 14, 2024, 10:12:04 PM
We also needs to learn on how to invest on our mental health, don't just focus on money or profit.
If the cost of your social status improvement is by sacrificing your mental health then it wouldn't be worth it.
Some people would rather choose a stress free job even if the pay is low, over a high rate paying job because they want to protect their mental health.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: May 14, 2024, 08:29:35 PM
For me it isn't a trap, but a stopper if I already loss the amount that I deposited then it is time to stop.
It all depends on how we would view it, if you would only chase what you loss then surely you would be chasing forever, since surely after you recover it you wouldn't stop since there is no profit at all so it would either be profit or more loss.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making bets with my stupid friend on: May 14, 2024, 05:43:35 PM
Yes my friends and I sometimes make a bet even on the silliest things, sometimes we would even make a bet when one of our friends are playing online if their team would win or not.
Although our bets aren't always involves money, but who would buy food, cook, or do things, and if it would be money it wouldn't really be a huge amount since it is just for fun.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accessing gambling sites only on desktop as a means to prevent addiction on: May 14, 2024, 05:37:08 PM
This will not work for those that are getting addicted or for those that are addicted already. They may determine that they will not access gambling sites on their phone but just on PC because PC is not often with them. But they may only find themselves still gambling often on mobile phones.

What that helped me to finally not get addicted anymore is gambling budget. If I go beyond my gambling budget, it is like my life is getting destroyed financially for me. So I do not go beyond my gambling budget. 2 to 5% of my weekly income for gambling. 1% is advised.

If you want to be accessing gambling sites just on PC and it is working for you, it means you are not addicted. I access gambling sites on phone but I am not addicted despite that my phones are with me almost all the time.
I agree with this, if someone who is already addicted or on their way being addicted, those people wouldn't be able to resist to access a gambling site even on their mobile phones.
And I agree the best way to recover from being addicted is to limit your funds, limiting the access time doesn't do much if you aren't limiting the amount that you gamble.
Learn to control or manage your money, that is the best way to overcome gambling or any forms of addiction, if you know how to distribute your earnings then you would know how much of your money could only be used for other purposes.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 14, 2024, 05:24:52 PM
I manage to earn some profit from PEPE and DOGE earlier this year.
I also join a meme airdrop from Gullnetwork, hoping that it would also give me a good amount of profit.
Would try to trade again with meme coins if something new pick my interest.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: May 14, 2024, 04:52:18 PM
Maybe for others or those who day trade would agree to this, but those who are investing on airdrops, test net or other types of way to earn, I don't think that they would agree to the term quick profit since they need to wait for uncertain time in order to take profit.
And those who trade maybe they could pull the QUICK profit, but the risk of those alts dropping down is also there so it isn't that easy.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying more of the Dip on: May 14, 2024, 12:59:19 PM
I would continue to buy or invest in crypto no matter what price it is, I am investing everytime I receive my salary.
It is my way to secure my future, my investment and even part of my retirement plan.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's responsible for the dead coins? on: May 13, 2024, 11:18:22 PM
For me it is the developers fault or the teams fault, they are the ones who are responsible for the projects movement, promotion, publicity and even fund management.
The investor could sell their shares, but the team should also have some plans on how they would handle such thing, they entered this market knowing that those kind of incident isn't new, so they should've plan it all.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 13, 2024, 10:09:47 PM
For me money isn't everything or be consider as wealth, everyone has a different definition of wealth.
Others says health is wealth, while other consider connections as a wealth, there are also those who consider having true or loyal friends or complete family as a wealth.
And for me I think wealthy persons are those who fill fulfilled with their life, those who are contented with what they have, living comfortable life no matter if it is luxurious or simple life, as long as they fill fulfilled or contented.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are you hyper focus, online casinos or physical casinos on: May 13, 2024, 08:23:40 PM
I am more on the online casino, since I am busy with work and my time only revolves from work to home vice versa, that is why I only gamble online.
It is easy for me to access and I don't need to go to any land base casino to play, it is also easier to manage my time that way.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing all your fortune with just 3 years on: May 13, 2024, 05:43:05 PM
Imagine being successful on your business, managing your funds, capital, and income.
But couldn't escape from being addicted to gambling, the emotion, thrill and excitement that it gives that drives most of us gambler to keep on coming back till we couldn't control it anymore.
This just shows us how our life could easily turn upsidedown if we couldn't properly manage or control ourselves.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer the crypto online gambling or regular fiat casinos gambling? on: May 13, 2024, 05:24:53 PM
I prefer money, strongly. When you gamble with money, you are *risking* money for a chance to win money. It is always a losing proposition. But it’s not the same as *spending* the money. If I walk into a casino with a $50 bankroll, and I walk out of the casino an hour later with $40, then I’ve had a good night. Cause losing the the money will be okay for you but on the process that you won as will you'll enjoyed more than coins, you won't have to trade anything at the moment.

But gambling with coins will involves of spending more money on the play coins. Which have no value or gain at the moment (if they have value, they wouldn't be play coins, they do just be different kind of currency) So, you’re paying for the privilege of risking something of no value in the hopes of winning something of no value. That doesn’t even count as gambling anymore; that’s paying a fee for the privilege of keeping score on a random number generator. What's your own opinion towards this?
There is no difference when it comes to value, there is no such gambling site that would allow us to gamble with a crypto that doesn't have a value.
But if you are asking us if we prefer online crypto gambling rather than land base casino, then it would depend on each gambler, for me I prefer online gambling because it would save me time since I could access it anytime, anywhere I want.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this true or some superstitious believe about gambling? on: May 13, 2024, 04:51:04 PM
The house would always win of course that is how they could continue to host us, if the house lose then the gambling site would close down.
What the old man said is just his personal opinion, or what he wants to believe in order to avoid gambling.
For me there are times that people would create stories on their own and make believe that their stories are true.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Your own people family best friends and loyal supportive people are true wealth on: May 13, 2024, 01:00:42 PM
It is true, it wealth isn't always about the amount of money, it could be your health or the people around you.
You might not be blessed with a huge amount of money but if you have a complete family, and good friends around you, you might feel contented or blessed.
In this generation having a complete family and loyal friend might be hard to achieve.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chased loss, got it back and lost everything. on: May 13, 2024, 12:45:45 PM
It happened to me a couple of times before, my reason for not stopping after I recovered what I loss is that, it just feel that I wasted my time if I wouldn't get a profit out of it.
That is why I learned to stop chasing what I loss and be contented with what I have, and also to gamble only my excess money so that it wouldn't be hard for me to let it go.
