141  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges freeze transfers from mixers ? on: October 18, 2021, 05:33:43 AM
You know what op, Just stay clear from centralised exchanges if you value your privacy that much (I thought you value privacy since you are using a mixer) just to be safe from all the headache and hassle. Although there can be a wide variety of reasons as to why an account can be frozen, it won't be because of some trivial matter. Either they really disallow such a thing or maybe you have touched other things they disallow. One look at the rules they set first before depositing would be a good preventive measure tho.
142  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Annihilating Parasites Cured Me From Being Gay on: October 12, 2021, 03:24:39 PM
The hell did I just read about? This has got to be one of the most hilarious topics ever created in this forum. I think there ahould be a ranking for such topics 🤣. Although this may be very irritating for those who are gay or supports being gay, it really gave me a good dose of the laugh I needed for the day 🤣. So for the effort and all, I give you a merit. Hope those parasites don't get easily passed onto others though 🤣. Damn it, I really can't stop laughing. Showing this to my mate rn 🤣.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and additional gas fees on: October 12, 2021, 01:59:28 PM
You know OP, I really agree with you. I used to be a frequent user of Ethereum when I transfer funds because back then, I was still a newbie in this industry and only trusted bitcoin and Ethereum and Ethereum having lower fees than btc, I used it often. But nowadays, the fees have gon crazily out of proportion. The fees are way too expensive! Even more expensive than btc! So now, I use xrp to transfer funds. But in swapping or buying coins on service providers like uniswap, sushiswap, etc., We really have no choice but to use Ethereum when swapping with erc20 tokens. I just hope a solution is created about this problem of horrendous fees!
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Taiwan invasion - how would it affect bitcoin on: October 12, 2021, 01:36:13 PM
As convincing as what your thoughts may seem, no one can really be sure about anything when it comes to china or to the cinese people since they are very strict about information. I mean, they barely even let their people socialize with the citizens of other countries. Only a selected few can do this or even has the courage to do so. China has their own social media etc., and are very secretive. So unless they really release news to the world by themselves, we can never be sure about anything.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshi symbol on: October 12, 2021, 01:21:01 PM
Bitcoin being as popular as it is really has a lot of eyes on it having different perspectives. Thus, a wide variety of questions and ideas comes to surface every now and then and as we see, there has been a lot of questions already with minimal answers in which we cannot even be aure of since there are no valid proof available. The same goes with this one, I have encountered such topic several times already circulating on the internet on several social media sites. But even with adding all the information, anyone's guess is just as good as anybody else's. Still though, it always is a good read when it is about BTC and satoshi. Be it conspiracies or the conversations he has had with different people.
146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The vaccination issue is not bipolar on: October 11, 2021, 03:21:38 PM
Being in a small city where the cases have been surging, I can testify how important it is to get vaccinated and to follow the health protocols along with all the other preventive measures. Of course I can sympathize on how much of a hassle it is to actually do and abide to all of the preventive measures but still, it is harder to be hospitalised and suffer severe effects of covid, specially in place such as here where the resources are limited. People are dying on the road outside hospitals and on its hallways. Still, I cannot persuade everyone but if at least I can save some by sharing my experiences, I'd be satisfied. Hope everyone is safe and healthy.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 11, 2021, 01:20:57 PM
Just like any other coin or project out there, what it all boils down to is the quality of the people behind the NFT/GAME (it's developing team). The reason why I say so is because in all the years that I have been staying in this industry, I have witnessed great projects with great concepts fail because of bad/inexperienced developers, whereas with great/experienced developers even the projects less valuable concepts/usecases are taken into great heights.

But basing on the trend and demand though, NFT alone will surely stay for good since not only games are using NFTs. I believe that NFTs will be playing a vital role in hastening the mass adoption of crypto currency in our world today and in the future. And the competition will only get harder from here on out specially on gaming since axie has already set such standards. But then again, as what I have said, developing teams will be the ones making the difference, even axie can be overtaken.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: Basics of the Current Monetary System on: October 11, 2021, 12:34:34 PM
As someone being on a third world country, I am pretty curious on how the monetary systems work in other countries specially in the US. Upon reading, I realized that there are some similarities with the monetary systems if not the same,  despite the difference in economical statuses. The thing that I like the most about this post though is the quote from Henry Ford which applies not only to the US citizens but also to other country's citizens be it in a flourishing country or not.

I can't help but wonder though, if crypto really does get legalized fully will it really have drastic effects on the current monetary systems? Will the effects be good and will make it easier for the people to adopt or will it be detrimental to the economy and the country as a whole? Hmm...
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if stop believing about bitcoin ? on: October 11, 2021, 12:14:00 PM
Pretty dumb expressing that same thought over and over again like other anti-crypto people even after all that has happened/took place all throughout these years. Being new to this industry, that is understandable but not reading enough about the industry you are in is really dumb in the eyes of the people here that you are asking. Hope this experience changes you for the better. Read read read. Trust me, you'll need it like air in this industry.
150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Plandemic Survey] I wonder how many of you have been vaccinated ? on: October 10, 2021, 05:17:30 PM
I got vaccinated. Being free of charge is only a part of it. The main reason is because I love my family the most and I want to protect them from the people they face everyday and from me if I ever got infected. Another is that how can I make a living being restricted by the unvaccinated tag? Even traveling requires certification of being vaccinated. Protect one's self and the people around him, everyone should get vaccinated.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT for money laundering? on: October 10, 2021, 03:13:41 PM
There will always be people who take advantage of anything and as many ways that these people can utilize. If there's a will, there's a way. It's just sad that dumb people will generalize when a few crypto holder does this. And not only that, the smart people on top that are against the idea of this industry as a whole will really take advantage of any dirt they can find to pull this industry down along with their regulator friends.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Is budgeting still effective in tackling the need to constantly withdraw money? on: October 10, 2021, 02:47:07 PM
Tell me how you handle your money today and I will give you a prediction of what your financial future will be. Regardless of your job. You see my friend, the numbers don't matter if you cannot even handle those numbers well. No matter how much you have, if you do not know how to manage and allocate your funds and income, one way or another, you will die of either hunger or inability to provide proper healthcare since a person who does not allocate money well, cannot plan well and not having a well created plan will rid you of chances to have emergency funds or insurance funds. I can explain even further but I think you can get my point. I hope this helps you well.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM stolen in a liquior store on: October 10, 2021, 09:13:30 AM
Man, I don't even know how to react to this kind of news. I am shocked, amazed, about to laugh and a bit bothered. Just thinking about it, such actions can only mean that they do not know that there are actually no bitcoins in that atm or they are only after the cash, or lastly they have bigger plans and understanding how a bitcoin atm works plays a vital role in that bigger plan.

155  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you miss buying games on Steam by paying with bitcoin? on: July 11, 2021, 11:26:25 PM
Nope, I do not miss it since I never once did it. Not because of not being aware but because there are far more convenient ways to pay for games or credits on steam and even for garena along with other standalone games. Besides, back then at 2017, the prices were quite volatile in a good way and gave most of the crypto enthusiasts in this industry a sense of excitement; a lingering taste of rush from that feeling of gambling on the potential of most of the crypto currencies in this industry at that time.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why on earth do you own bitcoin? on: July 11, 2021, 10:36:04 PM
Recently everyone is very anxious, the market from time to time falls, sometimes with the negative news waterfall, sometimes without the negative news waterfall, as for the positive news almost no, it really makes people hate the teeth itch. Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety. The more we get to this point in time, the more I think it's important for us to ask, or for us to ask ourselves, what are you holding bitcoin or Ethereum or any other digital currency for?

There are many reasons as to why a person holds such coins in this industry. While they may vary depending of personality, social status or culture, we can certainly not judge a person regardless of their reasons. Anyway, the reasons that I can think of as to why people continue to buy and hold are:

1. The rich quick mindset of the people believing in fairytales and miracles without doing the substantial efforts to familiarize themselves first with this industry.
2. Getting influenced by big influencers online or by peers.
3. Boredom with the traditional ways of keeping assets or earning money.
4. The love for new things or the love for innovative technologies.
5. To fit in.
6. Unemployment/underemployment or lack of jobs for certain skillsets and professions.

While there can be many more that can be added to the list, those are the most common reasons that I can think of. Now as for my reasons, number 4 and number 6. Number four since it really fits my personality well and number six because I am trapped in this pandemic having no jobs available for my degree/profession.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find good ICO's and new projects in general? on: July 11, 2021, 10:15:35 PM
I always hear about people making these insane profits from crypto by investing on release. But how exactly do you find legit ones from the fakes? I was told there are mostly purely fakes.

Any advice is appreciated.
My experience is suggesting you avoid ICO, at least until the last quarter this year. I think even now the success rate is 25-35 percent. Maybe you think that I'm not confident on ICO. Why would you like to invest in the new ICO when we have a huge opportunity to invest in old coins? ICO investment is good when old coin prices are overvalued.

I do not know how you got those numbers but in what I can deduce in all the years of being in this industry, the percentage is much worse than that. On the good side though, it is getting better as this industry along with all the people within it get more mature. Now, while I agree that investing on ICOs is not that good of an idea, I am not entirely going against investing on ICOs. But only if you are well aware of the things that you need to look out for. This is because even with such great risks, investing on good ICOs actually does give a huge amount of profit potential. I hope OP would be smart enough to make the right decision that is appropriate for the knowledge about this industry that he currently has.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Not Sell! Don't Let The Whales Get Your Precious BTC! on: July 11, 2021, 09:58:08 PM
The advice and motivation that can boost self-confidence, glad to hear it, and hopefully people can think more broadly and optimistically. The decline that occurs, of course can still be a good opportunity to buy with new capital, a downtrend does not mean weakening… but it is a sign of providing another profit opportunity when buying until we can earn satisfactory results in the long term.

Indeed this is a great opportunity that is available for everyone regardless of the type of investor they are. Which is why such misconception about selling should be stopped as soon as possible since it is really not healthy for the over all community of this industry. Obviously, there are many reasons why people sell and why people buy. There is no such thing as a wrong or right decision here, only slightly and very good or bad decision. Some people may sell due to an emergency or they are scalping, etc., etc. More people should make themselves aware of such facts. Whatever the style of investing, people should never judge nor undermine anyone. Because in reality, no single way of investing can work for everyone.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the next economic crisis in the world instead cause financial inflows into on: July 11, 2021, 09:38:28 PM
Such circumstance when an economical crash or a world scale financial crisis happens is not that out of proportion. Even with just a few months of being immersed in the covid-19 pandemic, lots of people have already been looking for other alternatives to earn money or save their assets from the effects being made by the global pandemic. Even more so as the duration of the pandemic got longer and longer. I say this since lots of people I know personally have started venturing into this industry and even going as far as investing in crypto related games. Their reasons? They need an alternative, can't stay idle and unable to provide for the people relying on me and so on. Still though, we cannot be sure about anything yet since when jobs or other ways to earn money are scarce, how the leaders of a country react to such phenomenon would be the only thing that can give an insight to everyone on what may happen next.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China says no to miners mean something else on: July 11, 2021, 09:07:55 PM
What do you guys think about this? I have friend in China and they told me that their government don't want people to mine any more even if you decide to pay them 10% of your mining reward or pay more electricity bill, their plan is no more miners in the country, what do you think is going on here?

My own reply is the government don't want self made millionaires, they want more workers for the government and crypto mining isn't making that happen, am I wrong?

While this may certainly be one of the key reasons behind the action of the chinese government towards the bitcoin and other coin miners in china, I think that there are more to this than what is being shown. The way china and other countries has been making decisions towards bitcoin over the years is really suspicious since some go hard on oppressing crypto enthusiasts on one point then change views and then go back again. Looking at how things have been going on like this specially on china, I can only deduce that there must be some connection; a joint effort or something to manipulate the market along with the people within it.
