They do currently have both regulation time and OT lines. RT is regulation time.

I'm pretty sure that they don't have RT handicaps, just OT handicaps last time I checked.

JohnK?

JohnK has been rather inactive at the current time - apparently away on midterms or something of the sort. My advice would be to take a look at DannyHamilton although he may also be temporarily unavailable due to some other reason. Those two guys are probably the best you could find, but there is a list for reference if your interested here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0.
1403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining profit in 2014 on: January 11, 2014, 12:27:02 AM
Why do you think i will never create more than 6.6 BTC? If i run the machine i will get very little amounts maybe , but it create amounts. And so after  i reached 6.6 why do you think i will not create more? after one day of running i will have 6.60001 BTC maybe thats ok it increase Wink (maybe i have a naive thinking, i just wanna understand)
And After the difficulty is extremly rising i could change to an altcoin, right? I could mine peercoins and exchange it to bitcoin so its also increasing.

Your not going to create any significant amount more than 6.6 BTC from those calcs, you might created 0.000001 in the next block and so forth in decreasing amounts to the point where you get nothing (i.e your earnings approach zero per block). Wrong, you can't change to an altcoin because those are based on scrypt which is a different to the SHA-256 used by Bitcoin making your miner incompatible. To mine altcoins at the moment you need to use GPUs as there are no ASICs in existence for altcoins.

Just one more thing, would you guys also have a look into adding regulation time handicaps for the NHL as that is an option sorely missing from your site which is offered by nearly every other bookie.
1405  Economy / Gambling / Re: ~ BitCappers.com ~ Sports Capping Community ~ Free Picks ~ on: January 10, 2014, 11:31:37 PM
No premium picks are being posted for a while Smiley Record will be completed.

Just out of curiosity, how long will you be posting on free picks to show on record before recommencing your premium picks?
1406  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Best odds - Instant Withdrawals on: January 10, 2014, 11:27:57 PM
I would like to see more livebetting options. Football, soccer or whatever you wanna call it along with tennis.

Live tennis betting would be a great option if they would look into it. Would love to throw down a few units here and there on a couple of live games at the AO.
1407  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook - HUGE 5 BTC SIGNUP BONUS! on: January 10, 2014, 12:06:17 PM
Basically, we will spread markets where we believe there to be enough interest. So - Majors, and a few other prominent ATP events. If it shows to be a popular bet type, we'll expand our set betting offering to more tennis events.

Poor Rog. If only elegance could win you games, and not just fans.

I look forward to your arrival! Take note that if you register before Jan 19, you'll get the better bonus which clears twice as easily, so show up before the semis!

Ah ok, I'll be sure to check up regularly, seeing as I already compare lines between bookies to reduce he amount of vig I'm paying. Nice to know that there's another bookie I can look at for set betting.

Haha, well put it this way, at least he's a great many majors in his prime - plus he's clearly still looking for an edge with Edberg and his new racket.

Yeah, I'll probably be there by R1 looks like a great site overall, liking the design thus far - hopefully the odds are even better haha Cheesy
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the "best" (easiest and relatively safe) wallet voor total noobs? on: January 10, 2014, 12:02:19 PM
Blockchain.info is ridiculously easy to use given that it just requires a sign-up and the rest is done for you - you don't need to download a blockchain, you don't need to generate addresses, you can set it up to back up to your email/GDrive/Dropbox and the wallet is already encrypted so you don't need to worry about doing that. However, as with all hot wallets especially online ones I would be wary of storing too much in them. My advice to newbies starting out would be to use Blockchain temporarily then move into looking at cold storage options of some kind for large amounts of BTC.

Hi Light,

For the Australian Open main rounds, we will be offering set betting. We have already done so on a few previous ATP events.

For example, you will be able to bet Federer to beat Nadal 3-0. My colleagues are laughing at me about that one, though I have faith in ol' Rog.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

Oh in that case, you might be seeing me pop around sometime soon with the AO coming upon in three days. To what extent do you guys offer set betting; as in what size tournament does it need to be - do they only apply to the slams at the moment or some of the other tourneys that go on between slams?

As for Fedex, good luck with the bet; personally I'm thinking that if they meet it'll be a pain for Roger considering his mobility drop so much so that Nadal should easily clinch a set. If your really stuck on Fed, might want to switch it to an ML or a 3-1  Wink
1410  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook - HUGE 5 BTC SIGNUP BONUS! on: January 10, 2014, 11:38:27 AM
Hi Light,

Thanks for your message. I hear you - I would love to spread many more markets. We will look into this, especially for tennis. It is an iterative process and we have a bunch of exciting new features in the pipeline, and expanding our event and market selection is most certainly one of them.

At the moment, we do offer set betting for larger tennis events, but not smaller ones. I also hope that soon we will spread more markets, and earlier. I have noted your request specifically -- if you'd like to send us an email at support@cloudbet.com, I can make sure you are sent a message when we expand our tennis offering.

We run our own book, and manage risk ourselves, though naturally we are aware of what all of the other books are doing at all times.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

If possible I would prefer if you were to PM me should you begin to implement a larger number of tennis betting options. There aren't too many sites that offer set betting in the fashion I have described (rather than the usual +1.5/+2.5 etc) so if you were to it would certainly garner my interest. Would you have a rough estimate on when such improvements would occur, as the Australian Open is one of the biggest times to bet on tennis (otherwise I'll have to wait for another slam).
1411  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: January 10, 2014, 11:03:19 AM
Yeah I think when he started this site, it wanted to be legit. But at some point he decided that stealing money is way easier than actually earning it. Everyone has a price, a few hundreds of btcs (when they became worth 1000+$) was bit365's price for him to go "breaking bad". Or maybe his wife left him or his dog died, who knows what made him tip over... As long as he stays anonymous, he is not risking much by scamming people over and over.

Unless you've planned it long in advance it's not particularly easy to remain completely anonymous as there are always records (both your login IP and domain registration) and other data you may have unknowingly provided that allows people to work out who you are. In this case, I'm not too sure whether he's gone scam or he's delaying the payouts for some other nefarious reason as I don't believe his excuse of losing his cold storage wallets.
1412  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook - HUGE 5 BTC SIGNUP BONUS! on: January 10, 2014, 10:56:01 AM
Would there be any chance you could significantly improve the number of options you have for tennis betting, as currently you have no matches to bet on when there are in fact a crap ton of games in qualifiers and finals and doubles. Also would you look into set betting (i.e Williams 2-1) rather than just the basic point spreads and over/unders which every bookie offers? Finally do you guys formulate your own lines or follow/affiliate with some of the big fiat bookies (ie Bet365 and Pinnacle)?
1413  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: January 10, 2014, 04:11:26 AM
The hashpower that resides in the control of CEX.IO can be pointed by the operators of that service ultimately to anywhere, and that is the real issue. It can also be someone else than the operators, perhaps someone hijacks that hashing power.

True that is a possible issue - depending upon whether you believe CEX's official statement. Basically they've indicated that 45% of their hashing power comes from Bitfury miners which they own and the other 55% comes from independent miners (which I interpret to be individuals pointing their miner's to GHash.IO) meaning that in reality they themselves control enough miners to get to around 23% (just a rough approximation) which is significantly lower than the 51% people are so concerned about. Of course, if they are lying about their miners then it's up in the air.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are economists so afraid of Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2014, 10:55:25 PM
Many economists believe you need to keep creating money and the more money the better.

I'm not exactly sure that's the viewpoint of most economists, that simply creates inflationary pressures and screws over the consumer in general. As to OP, I personally don't feel economists are afraid of BTC as much as they are wary of it considering the fact that it's a new experiment of which the likes have never been seen in the past; nothing with this kind of idea has made it so far. Plus it's hard to theorise about it considering much of the value is speculation unrelated to actual real-world factors.
1415  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] 10GHs, 60GHs and 100GHs Daily/Weekly Mining Contracts on: January 09, 2014, 10:48:29 PM
yeah 100GHs for 24 hours would only make around $24 USD in the day. so i would pay $54 to only get $24.

Yeah I'm not too sure how people would expect to achieve ROI let alone profit with this set-up unless they are doing some random altcoin mining then speculative trading; but even then that's a lot of luck needed to double your money...
1416  Economy / Lending / Re: 10000 BTC / 24hrs on: January 09, 2014, 10:45:47 PM
Collateral that can put up?

define that pls. (I know what the word is, just not sure what eCollateral might be)

In general collateral on this board usually refers to some sort of altcoin (e.g LTC or if your weird DOGE etc) or other electronic commodity that the lender perceives to be of enough value that they are still ahead should you default. People have also offered to ship miner's and the likes for collateral purposes but I'm not sure if those ever actually worked out.
1417  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.EU - Bitcoin Sportsbetting - Best Odds - Teasers - Mobile on: January 09, 2014, 10:39:03 PM
As far as the tennis betting, a bet on the Player A -1.5 Sets, is exactly the same as betting that Player A goes 2-0 in Sets. I hope this makes sense. In the case of best of 5, we typically offer a -2.5 Sets line which is the equivalent of going 3-0.

I'm aware of that, however for some of my bets I wish to specify for example Cilic vs Nishikori 2-1 rather than a simple +1.5 (as you know that 1-2 also wins in the case of +1.5 sets) as they aren't the same and as such I get a different line. The -1.5 and -2.5 are great for straight sets betting, but when I want to be on matches that will go to three and I want to specify the winner of that third there is no such option.

EDIT: And is there a reason you guys don't have a wider range of betting options for the Australian Open qualifiers when some of the other bookies do? As much as I like Nitrogen, I'm being forced to go there even though I don't like their interface and the juice is horrible.
1418  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: got hacked like so many others probably on: January 09, 2014, 10:07:50 PM
what's 2FA?

Two factor authentication is a system that generates a secondary one time code that you must input in order to complete a transaction. To use it one usually installs an app on their phone which generates these codes so even if your account is stolen unless they have access to your phone your funds are fine.
1419  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.EU - Bitcoin Sportsbetting - Best Odds - Teasers - Mobile on: January 09, 2014, 09:55:05 PM
Would greatly appreciate it if you could complete my withdrawal on account #585 as I need to make use of the funds rather urgently. As a side note would you have any update on adding set betting for tennis (rather than just set spreads) as I've had to move bookies to get some of that action unfortunately Sad
1420  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: January 09, 2014, 11:18:43 AM
Ghash.io is reliable? Haven't they been double spending?

I've personally never heard of any reports of them double spending, just people panicking about the possibility of them doing so should they gain more than 50% of the total hash rate. I'd think there would be far more uproar if there was proof that they had actually used their power to create double spends.
