1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: July 05, 2017, 06:31:15 AM
Found some reports from claymore's threads saying a vega was hashing at 30MH with ETH. So sad. Makes it pretty useless until someone develops drivers/miners. But they need to do it fast. ice age is coming.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.6 (Windows/Linux) on: July 05, 2017, 06:25:03 AM
Has anyone done a computation of Mr. Claymores total earnings to date? Pretty safe to safe hes a billionaire about now right?
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt coin will gain most value in 2017? on: July 05, 2017, 06:00:53 AM

1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is going to legalize Ethereum soon. on: July 05, 2017, 05:57:30 AM
Yet despite news like this, ETH value is down on all exchanges. So much FUD surrounding ETH right now this type of news now means nothing.
1405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to sell bitcoin for paypal like this? on: July 05, 2017, 05:39:51 AM
Ive been the victim of a charge back once. Its quite hopeless as they will ask you for evidence and all you will have will be emails or screenshots of messages (all of which will be invalid as these can easily be photoshopped). Stay away from paypal, unless you want to scam people. Lol. Paypal should die soon.
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Vitalik Buterin's health declining? on: July 04, 2017, 07:46:29 AM
Pathetic thread. Utterly childish and pathetic.

Being a keyboard code warrior is great & all but you gotta get your nerd ass out of the chair !
And eat some meat or some shit jeez !

Being the public face for all mETH heads out there and looking like a meth head is not smart.
He should look the part and get his shit together.. or stay out of the public eye.

Hey Butterin stick with iGotSpots he used to be a Football player so he will whip you into shape
and turn you into a svelt adonis.. a mother fuckin' crypto man god of epic proportions !

Hey little boy Butterin ..no more fuckin' Salads !
Eat something that has a face dammit !

And there he goes again.

1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you name your Mining Rigs ? on: July 04, 2017, 07:40:17 AM

Did anyone get the C.H.U.D reference?

Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller?

1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 30% hashrate drop for RX400/RX500 incoming soon? on: July 04, 2017, 07:37:56 AM
found this: Ethereum mining: hashrate drop for Radeon RX400/RX500 GPUs incoming Shocked Huh
Only RX cards are affected, not the older ones like 290x. Also Nvidia Pascal seems to be on the safe side...

why the f is that the case that only RX series cards are affected, this is crap i tell u

Yeah. The ice age is for the entire ethereum mining community. I too dont understand all this crap against AMD's RX series. More likely, it will depend on the memory of cards, 4GB cards will soon be too low to handle DAG.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Metropolois likely to reduce ETH mining reward to 3 or less on: July 04, 2017, 07:31:54 AM
I also think the Metropolis hard fork is still 2-3 months away.

Do any of you have sources on when Metro's ETA is? Ive read around from this forum it should come by December 2017.
Actually looking to upgrade my mining investments now for ETH long term holding
1410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be Careful With Pumping Groups on: June 29, 2017, 05:19:11 AM
I was just a newbie on this and I got victimized because just seconds after I bought my coins the value rose which led me to believe it could rose further but then the slide happened as fast as it rose.

This is exactly the purpose of pump and dump groups. The value will rise then slide. Maybe instead of create a "be careful of pump groups" maybe you should make a topic called "make sure you know what you are getting into."
1411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the best arbitrage bot? on: June 28, 2017, 09:26:59 AM

I'd stay away from sites like these. This is most probably a scam and anyone associated or promoting it is probably also a scammer.
1412  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: June 28, 2017, 09:25:16 AM
As long as you invest in blue chip stocks ("coins"), you shouldn't worry so much. BTC, ETH and LTC are pretty much big coins and have lots of upside potential. Time has shown that everything eventually went up.
1413  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Poloniex gone??? People can't withdrawal, Support is gone. on: June 28, 2017, 08:55:16 AM
Active poloniex user here. No problems depositing and withdrawing on my end.

Using the same bitcoin address to send and receive ever since the beginning. My guess is their system detected suspicious activity from your account.
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [HARDWARE] [AMD DEDICATED MINING GPU] on: June 28, 2017, 08:53:12 AM
The hashrate boost is not worth it for 0 resale value and no use outside of crypto mining. Id agree with post above and just get 1070s or wait for Vega. Good luck starting to mine now tho as difficulty levels are going through the roof.
1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Setting up an altcoin mining pool on: June 28, 2017, 08:50:52 AM
Not so familiar with #1.

But for #2, id recommend SIACOIN (SC). Its got lots of potential and the community seems more laid back, willing to wait patiently for future returns.
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1070 eth performance on: June 28, 2017, 08:31:06 AM
My zotac is also at 30 MH. Running it at +150 core +610 mem clocks. Any more than that and it will crash.

Power limit at -20%
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 30% hashrate drop for RX400/RX500 incoming soon? on: June 28, 2017, 08:24:52 AM
Big news from BBT about the Claymore epoch benchmark issue. He reached out to AMD who confirmed they are aware of the future epoch hashdrop issue and are working with Claymore to resolve the issue which DOES NOT affect other miners, such as SGminer. So, it appears it's an issue related to the Claymore miner and NOT the RX platform.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3XOtQtFKSQ&feature=youtu.be&t=978
Who even use Claymore now? Isnt it has too much hashdrops?

Actually most of the miners on Windows are using claymore.
Anyway, don't believe AMD care about hashdrop at all, even less that they work with claymore for resolving this.

Agree. Why would AMD care? They're making money, and thats all that matters to them.
Claymore will have to setup or AMD cards will suffer very soon.
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent market dump and pump on: June 28, 2017, 06:26:29 AM
All altcoins are traded in pairs with bitkoynom. If the bitcoat price falls ... most of the altokamen will tend to decrease.

Are you drunk? What language are you speaking?

Based on current trends, altcoin price is directly correlated with bitcoin price.
1419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any fees for putting trade on exchanges? on: June 27, 2017, 11:18:05 AM
To add to what other said, you can trade with less fees when you create your own trade price (or by being what is called a "Maker"). For example BTC is trading at the following rates: Buy: 2500 - Sell: 2498. If you create a trade and you are the first to buy or sell at the 2499 trade price, you are a maker of that trade price and are usually charged a lower fee. In poloniex its (.10% less of the normal .25% fee).

You can read more about maker/taker here:

1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6pin vs 4pin psie riser on: June 26, 2017, 06:53:04 PM
I have a few of both 4pin molex and 6pin pcie. ver006, ver007, and even some ver001s.
Have had no problems with any so far. Been mining for 6 months now 24/7.

I guess go with whichever is cheaper and available. If all are available id go for the ones with more capacitors.
