This will not be true.  Not exactly.  And I am NOT offering any financial advice.  Do not let my bullish ridiculousness influence your decisions.  You can influence your own.

But I think one possibility is for Bitcoin to basically continue what it started doing... But instead of a tantrum throwing toddler, a moody teenager.

Not learning to walk anymore... But what comes after walking?

RUN!!!

So I sent her to bed.  She doesn't understand how to talk to a hodler yet.

Just an idea and some hopium for a recovery.

That's right folks! Our reptile overlords are gonna keep pumping you full of the same shit, and keep pretending it has any meaningful efficacy.

At all.

i dunno man. at this point i think team vaccine is in a "collect them all!" type of mentality. "limited (lol) series!"

i would think if the lizards want our brains liquefied (via "vaccine" or some other drug/trojan hourse) why didnt they just make something addictive. them people would actively seek it out.

In fairness, there are more pot shops and liquor stores than donut shops in Canada now!, so they're not not trying (to liquefy our brains).  OH! ...but you will need to be vaccinated to partake in the addictions.

! may or may not be true

The Fed has signaled it might have to raise interest rates sooner than expected to fight inflation.  This is why bitcoin is down.

Now we also know why Elon began selling so many shares of his company.

edit: Oh, the Fed's policy meeting took place Dec 14th-15th.  The plebes only found out what they discussed today.

that's all temporary.
with debt loads we have, the 10 year rate above 3% would be near impossible (without a wave of debt delinquencies).
Great point about Elon, though..in fact, many insiders sold quite a bit.

I wonder how many congressional members in the US were in a selling mood?

We would likely need some mutually agreeable escrow.. so another thing that I am thinking is where the fuck is

@Dabs

when you need him?
~also snip

What with 4 different diets and 40 flights of stairs 3X per day, he is far too busy shedding the winter weight to worry about escrow.

I could barely see that!  Can anyone tell me that that tiny graphic is all about?

lets go

 Let's go, Bitcoin.  I agree!

Confession time.

For the first time ever, I took a shortcut in making an avatar.  The main reasons were: time (I wanted to quickly respond to a post with an avatar so someone who has become a regular WO) and difficulty (of 3D translations on 2D objects).  Before I began work on the avatar, I did a quick search for VB1001 - our hat curator who had graciously and charitably taken it upon himself to archive the WO hat collection.  I also asked some people who have been here for a while what happened to him... he's not here and the site is down.  Long story short, there would be no problem going straight to an avatar-sized hat because no one would ever need a full-resolution hat.

So I created a full-sized blue hat with a bitcoin logo on it, shrank it to avatar size and then took shahzadafzal's shadow avatar as a layer and shrank it until it looked right.  Done!  Saved!  Posted!  He loved it! Mission accomplished.  Somehow it didn't feel right; I had always posted a full-sized and an avatar sized image...

...and then 3 days later, it happened!  I got a PM from shahzadafzal asking for the HD version of his hat (for very compelling reasons) and I couldn't give it to him.  Wow.  Very disgrace.  So dishonour.  Many shame.

Anyway, from first principles with and without shadow because I'm not sure a shadow figure should have a shadow:

Basically, in US, if the family has $1mil in ret funds

With that much you can get 10-20% interest and never run out. That's $100-200k/yr.

wtf are you talking about?

no legit company pays 20% interest

Well they do pay that in Turkey!
Of course, the prices of goods are rising at 40%...

They're not touching so that doesn't really count as a gay Christmas card.
1434  Other / Meta / Re: TheBitcoinTalkShow - First episode is here! on: December 26, 2021, 05:17:49 PM
That was the best Christmas present I got this year!  Thank you to all involved in the production.
The only thing wrong with it was that it left me wanting moar!!!
1435  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: December 25, 2021, 03:05:16 PM
I actually tried the OpenStego program last night with windows and I got a java error but I didn't have time to troubleshoot as I was playing Santa.  I don't think my brain is working very quickly these days because even after seeing Cyrus' post saying the layout was deliberate and fillippone's post spelling it out precisely and actually attempting to use the OpenStego program, I only made the connection with the OpenStego program when I woke up this morning.  I tried some online programs to decrypt the image as well without a password but they were able to find a message or said a password was required.  I wish I had more time now but we have a lot of visiting to do yet today.  Good luck everyone!

 Merry Christmas!!

AWww... do we have to wait until next Wednesday?

Come on please! What do you know we don't? Which clue did you get from the image? I have been stalking this thread for weeksmonths and now I am wishing for my Christmas present!

No! I don't have any insider information.  I only know whatever I've seen posted publicly but when I saw Cyrus' latest post I thought he was directly translating some Romania phrase into English:

 Pe locuri, fiti gata, start!

 Which translates to

"On your marks! Get set! Go!" or "Ready! Set! Go!" or "Ready! Steady! Go!" (I'll admit I am a little confused by the word "Open" but it wouldn't be the first time I have been confused by Romanian-English translations ESPECIALLY on restaurant menus which can sometimes be downright stomach turning... but I digress)

Add to that the Twitter poll where they let the users decide the opening day - Wednesday was the top pick - so I am making a huge assumption that it's ready and will air next Wednesday.

That's all I've got.  Nothing special.

Wow amazing love you bro…10/10!!!

But I think I need my laptop to wear it because I tried from my phone (iPhone) and it’s coming with white background.

(Btw why iPhone doesn’t support pngs or transparent backgrounds overall?).

Glad you like it!  Sorry I can't test on the iPhone because I don't currently have one but the transparency seems to work in windows and on my android phone.
