1482  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for angel investor for startup capital on: February 23, 2018, 07:12:51 PM
Pretty sure this needs to be in the securities section.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHICH COIN WILL MAKE ME POOR, LOOKING FOR -1X! on: February 23, 2018, 07:04:38 PM

1484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: February 23, 2018, 07:00:30 PM
Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

Many big companies are now accepting bitcoins. I believe that many more individuals will use digital money/cryptocurrencies like bitcoin to buy their goods and services.

They are not accepting the coins though, they are using bitpay to exchange 1:1
1485  Economy / Services / HIRING CRYPTO SONG WRITER on: February 22, 2018, 10:21:09 PM
I am hiring someone to write a cryptocurrency rap song. If you write a song, please let me know how much you would be willing to sell the rights to it for.

Swear words are allowed, but the song needs to pertain to cryptocurrency. I am only looking to pay for quality. If I don't buy it, It obviously won't be used anywhere.

Pay will be in ETH
1486  Other / Off-topic / Re: Awarding Merit for the highest quality threads/posts on: February 22, 2018, 05:20:09 PM
Hi mate I just observed here, I thought you're going to give merit for those post who are constructive and providing a good information, but seems like you are only giving praise and feedbacks about, well if you look at it there are some posts here who are worth giving merit and when I check your merit you have not given anyone of them. What is your criteria mate?

No offense here I am just observing and passing by thanks.

I think it is fairly clear in the OP as to what I am doing. I am looking for influential posts/threads that are of the best quality. I don't have any specific requirement as I am trying to think of something. Once someone posts a good thread/post you will see what I am looking for. I never claimed to have given anyone merit lol, I don't know where these assumptions are coming from.

So you have not noticed any worthy posts?

Seems to me you are saving up your sMerit so you can use them however benefits you the most.    :/

Please stay on topic.

I will check this out tonight, thanks for submitting them.
1487  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: www.coinforecast.io | New Bitcoin/Altcoin short-term prediction service on: February 22, 2018, 02:30:44 AM
If you have a budget, I would be interested in writing reviews of ICO's/coins and giving my opinion on the coins.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHICH COIN WILL MAKE ME POOR, LOOKING FOR -1X! on: February 22, 2018, 02:24:14 AM
Are you being sarcastic because you lose some of your money on investing in other coins or you just want to make fun of something? if you want to lose money just give it to charity. At least someday blessing may return to you.

Really just interested in what coins in the top 100 people are disinterested in. I have a thread that shows everything I am invested in if you are interested you can check it out.
1489  Economy / Services / Re: WRITER FOR HIRE, ICO REVIEWS, GUIDES AND ARTICLES! on: February 22, 2018, 01:45:35 AM

Thank you.

Very good threads and extremely useful, however, I am looking for the best posts within their field.

Hi
Please review my thread its about helps new comer crypto trader.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2969998.msg30513964#msg30513964

Keep up the good work, however, this won't receive a merit.

Since you are member rank person, you seems pretty active on the forum. Still I don't understand how many smerits you have! There are legendary and other high rank members doing meriting service for the quality posts. At the same you came in here do the same. Hope it goes better. Wishing you to get the better reputation on this.

This is true, however, I am only giving Merit to the best posts/threads on the forum. So if you have a merit from me, it shows the power of your work. I wont be handing them out like candy, so needing a ton won't be necessary.

Hello Tim, I have seen you posting around, I think I am beginning to see now who the active forum members are here. I actually have not really given out merit yet, like you I am trying to see who the best Jr members are since I understand the veterans seem to get a good supply. I know my posts are not very high quality because I don't have a good technical understanding but I always feel I try to help people. Anyway, here is one post I am submitting for consideration. Regardless of whether it passes, any comments appreciated!

Thanks, and I certainly see the quality in your post. My thread isn't the best on privacy but you should have a look: https://medium.com/@therealtimforrest/bitcoin-and-anonymity-5f15bdac7003

Hi Sir Tim. Please take time to review this thread I made. If you think that it was helpful and deserves a Merit. Please merit it Smiley

Best Regards.

I certainly like the idea as it is a huge problem.

Hope you like my post mate:

Thanks for the service you are offering. I am also offering a similar service like yours.  Grin

Keep up the good work, I can see the quality.

This is a good thread, however, the merit will be for bigger impact threads. Keep up the good work.
1491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Heading for another crash? on: February 21, 2018, 09:09:33 PM
I dont see anything in the news to predict this, so no one really knows.
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: February 21, 2018, 09:08:44 PM
Well I do have $50, so the next time I invest $50 will go into an ICO coin. Money is relevant, so if $50 is a lot you might want to invest in a "safer" coin.
1493  Economy / Services / Re: WRITER FOR HIRE, ICO REVIEWS, GUIDES AND ARTICLES! on: February 21, 2018, 09:07:25 PM
do you write whitepapers for ICOs?

Yes I can, I've have sent you a PM.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how to properly evaluate coins/tokens on: February 21, 2018, 05:12:55 PM
Hopefully everyone is evaluating their coins so that they don't panic sell. Not that you shouldn't sell, but if you evaluate you will make a better choice.
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHICH COIN WILL MAKE ME POOR, LOOKING FOR -1X! on: February 21, 2018, 05:10:37 PM
Keep them coming guys! I know some people have secret hate for coins in the top 100.
1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: February 21, 2018, 05:09:45 PM
that's good news they felt the good deal in the long run more and more business will accept the btc it's the future.

They are not accepting bitcoin though, they are using bitpay which exchanges it 1:1
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: February 20, 2018, 05:50:07 PM
Ethereum is a great technology , it allow people to raise funds to finance their  project and to earn money on this projects

This is very true, however, a lot of other things are being developed. If it was only being used as a platform to create ICO's it wouldn't be successful in the future. Right now the price is reflecting the speculative future of the other implementations. We can only hope other things are added and successful.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BEST Coins for 2018! My portfolio and MY INVESTMENT STRATEGIES on: February 20, 2018, 05:48:01 PM
Everyones best coins are usually different.
I always like Bitcoin.
Some popular altcoin is really potential.
Ethereum,
STRAT,
Waves,
Ripple,
LTC,
NXT,
ETC
I think these altcoin is best for 2018.

I will never buy XRP ( dont say ripple )

ETC is also a negative for me as well.
1499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: February 20, 2018, 05:47:12 PM
On YouTube now just a huge amount of video how to make money on this currency. But for beginners, I would advise you to find a competent teacher
It's actually really good that on YouTube there are many videos about cryptocurrency, it's an indication that many are very interested in it. The sad thing is that many bloggers don't understand things well, just give general information.

Which is harmful because if you give people bad information they will likely quit and not want to continuing learning.
1500  Other / Off-topic / Re: Awarding Merit for the highest quality threads/posts on: February 20, 2018, 05:44:52 PM
One question for you. Can you be clear on what is a highest quality thread/post for you ? Do you consider length as one of the aspects ?

I will be uploading some guidelines but nothing is set in stone. I am just looking for the BEST content. So length doesn't play a role. Whatever the post or thread is, it must have a lot of impact on the cryptocurrency community. Like I said, more information will come out as to how I will be "grading" the content.

I will also be reviewing every comment today at around 5PM EST. Everyone who posts will get feedback and either an acceptance or decline.
