Anyone heard of any sports betting sites for BTC?  I think that would be a decent idea, people love sports and love to gamble.... Let me know I would like to place a bet on the super bowl.

Regards,

Just watched The lost World: Jurassic Park... Was much better when I was a kid.

Yeah I have watched it now and I don't really enjoy it as much as when I was a kid but still a good movie.

I loved the first film as a kid, haven't seen the second one since I saw it at the cinema, and I don't think I've seen the third. I think there making a new one as well.
15783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Damn it. Dogecoin friggin fails for me again!!!!! I'm done. on: January 30, 2014, 03:50:10 PM
I'd be surprised if Dogecoin was around in even a years time, but maybe its million newb army might carry it along. And if tipping was going to be implemented on Youtube it'll probably be with Bitcoin. I don't think donating decimals is that big of an issue.

Newbies would still be around thinking it's going to go up and be worth millionaires but I don't think anyone with any knowledge will be around in a few months time.

Never underestimate bagholding naive newbs. They'll hold their coins until their grave holding out for it 'going to the moon'  Grin.
15784  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-29] Discover Local Places To Spend Bitcoin With CoinScout For iPhone on: January 30, 2014, 03:45:31 PM
So what do you do when Coinscout and your iphone find you a nice restaurant but you left your droid which has your BTC wallet in it at home?

I dont think you can use your iphone to pay in BTC as apple does not support bitcoin wallets. You would probably need to have a paper bitcoin wallet in hand I guess to pay the bill or you would be stuck washing dishes.

This would take off if apple allowed btc in the payment apps of iphone ipad though...

I can use the blockchain.info app on mine.

Too many coins. If it hits 1$, that means it's 3x as valuable as bitcoin. And it is at least a year behind in terms of development - ATMs, bit pay..

I think Dogecoin hitting $1 anytime soon really isn't feasible for exactly the reasons you noted. But, will it hit $1 in a few years, my belief is -- absolutely. All that's needed is something like YouTube to utilize it as a means of tipping. The thing that many see as a flaw (100 billion coins + maybe more each year after all 100 billion are mined) will actually be one of its greatest strengths. At a 21 million cap, as BTC is further embraced and spread out, fewer and fewer people will own 1 Bitcoin. Heck, I remember loosing 20 something BTC's trying to buy LTC when it went from .45cents to like $6. Well I switched my BTC's to LTC's, bought and then LTC went back down. LoL.  I sold all my BTC's months ago, before the rapid rise in price and if I could only get those 20 something BTC's back I'd be so happy. I'm certain that the guy who bought that pizza for 10,000 BTC's might feel the same. Sorry to digress.

My point is that as BTC becomes more popular and expensive, fewer people will have a whole coin. Now try to tip someone on YouTube with your decimal point zero zero zero zero, etc. People aren't going to see that as ease of use for that type of transaction.  Dogecoin however, with its billions of coins is perfectly set for something as ubiquitous in nature as tipping on YouTube.  Something like that is coming, maybe not this year, but it's coming. If Dogecoin is still around then it will benefit. Dogecoin lacks the infrastructure that Bitcoin has established. But Bitcoin has years, Dogecoin is 7 weeks old.

I'd be surprised if Dogecoin was around in even a years time, but maybe its million newb army might carry it along. And if tipping was going to be implemented on Youtube it'll probably be with Bitcoin. I don't think donating decimals is that big of an issue.

It's strange that there are so many haters and belivers for Dogecoin. Just shows the impact of this coin .... and haters gonna die  Grin Grin Grin   (in sense of , they will be belivers soon Wink)

I doubt that any time soon. And just when somebody criticises a coin it doesn't mean that they are 'haters'. Haters is a term morons use so it goes well with Dogeholders.

Once again, Dogecoin is at it. Failing at everything it tries.  Yesterday Vault of Satoshi starting trading Doge for USD, -----a first. I figured things would be ok, but no, Dogecoin's value increased and people started writing stories of how it's detaching its peg to Bitcoin. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/dogecoin-weakens-bitcoin-dependency-us-dollar-exchange-opens-092341018.html#EZGlNAg

NOW after that failure, and after it's failure to get the Jamaican Bobsleigh team to the Winter Olympics, it's still trying again. And once again it failed, miserably too. It seems that Dogecoin was trying to raise funds to send another under"doge" Olympian to the Winter Olympics after his country's Olympic Committee and his Nation's leaders left him out in the cold.

It failed? I thought they were successful in this?

I added the "such Sarcasm" at the end of the post.

Oh, but you didn't do the colours. wow. such cliche. much annoyance.

Three words. "Dallas buyers club"

Jared Leto is such an under-appreciated actor. I've downloaded it but not watched it yet. Check him out in Mr Nobody if you haven't seen it. Great film.

15794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: selling my 0.20182482 BTC? on: January 30, 2014, 02:50:01 PM
Try selling it on fleabay through bank transfer.

Who buys shit through ebay with bank transfers? If you're gonna sell it on ebay wait till next month when they start officially allowing coins to be sold on there.

Are this even allowed? What is the use of trust system if you can buy it.

It's not disallowed, but people will see it and leave him negative like some already have. And I think it's only a matter of time before somebody on the trusted list negbombs him too.
15797  Economy / Services / Re: Make Easy Btc By Selling Me Member Activity OR Junior Member (32+) Accounts on: January 30, 2014, 02:33:43 PM
Why you need so many accounts? Why buying / selling accounts is even allowed?

I think he wants them for signature giveaways like the one you have.

And lol at your name.

Hmm... I think it will take a few weeks before we hit the $1,000 mark again. LTC is still holding at 0.025-0.030 levels.

I think it'll be a while unless we get some big news. I'm not that really concerned with the $1000 price anymore, I just want more merchant adoption.

Any ideas when payments will cointine for sig space ?

Payments are sent on the 17th of each month.

More info on PD3 coming soon, we've decided to add in a new game type not mentioned prior.

As always we're open to all suggestions for what sort of things you'd like to see. I've been told design will be done friday and then it is just a matter of hooking things up and doing some testing before beta.

I'm always interested in more games. Can you give us info on what type of ones are going to be implemented or are being developed?
