1581  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Security] Be Careful About Downloading Fake Wallet Apps on: September 05, 2020, 04:11:00 PM
Good Practice To Avoid Installing Fake Wallet Apps (as mentioned in the link below)
  • Install only apps with 100k+ installs
  • Look for the rating. At least four-star+ rating
  • Read the user reviews

Just go to their official website may mga links dun if where to download their apps, if dubious ka naman sa website, you can search sa google at sa mga official socmed accounts nila just that. No need na makita mo pa yung # of downloads ng app or ratings nito.
1582  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance's PTP Trading Not Friendly To Small Time Traders on: September 05, 2020, 04:03:36 PM
But I think Binance can do something about it, put a reasonable minimum ceiling limit  maybe around 1k - 5k pesos.
1583  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Rahakott wallet SCAM?? on: September 05, 2020, 03:27:01 PM
They have announced that they were terminating their service and surely this includes taking all the funds on their wallet including yours.

Since you say its empty, have you check the latest transaction history of the wallet if this includes a lot of addressese including your address?
1584  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Question About Using Blockchain.com Website on: September 05, 2020, 03:01:57 PM
What are your experiences in using electrum?
Never had experienced any kind of bad experience using electrum, but you should be wary of things when using it to your personal computer. Lots of users got hacked from using electrum because of downloading fake and outdated versions of it, just recently a guy got hacked with 1k+ BTC because of the outdated version installed. So make sure you download it from electrum.org, verify its signature, and keep your device malware free.

I didn't know a lot of users are having issue with blockchain. It seems like a good service for me in the first place.
If you will check threads on this board, you will see that most of them have worst experience with blockchain.com
1585  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Signature Campaign" does work for marketing? on: September 05, 2020, 02:49:16 PM
It is the cheapest way to market the site since if you go on other platform they will ask a huge amount for placing your ads there and also advertiser can assure that he will get a real crypto users since the number of users here are millions worldwide, so its really effective to run a campaign but also they owner must have a back up promotion to make things visible in the market.
Can't say signature campaigns or forum ads is the "cheapest way" but its one of the effective ways to advertise and promote a crypto-related biz.

1587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Cryptocurrency rates especially BTC Fluctuate so quickly? on: September 04, 2020, 01:55:43 PM
I mean is there any system on which there rates are decided? If so, what is it?
Well, mainly, eversince, the supply of bitcoin/cryptocurrency, and the market demand. Exchanges have a huge factor of it - the price and volume.
1588  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gcash at Paymaya sa Binance P2P (Tutorial) on: September 04, 2020, 01:49:16 PM
Good to hear na implement na din nila ito, though meron naman talagang mga traders dati pa na nag t'trade sa binance p2p na uma accept ng gcash or paymaya through chat lang din binibigay ang info, with this mas mapapadali yun.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ttbit sha256 on: September 03, 2020, 02:24:54 PM
What do you mean by not 1 satoshi, the value? such as an alt?

A little google, you mean "TTBIT Bitcoin SHA256"? Uhm, that's a kind of a USB Stick Miner.

Also, this thread doesn't belong to meta, not sure if where this thread belongs, maybe altcoin discussion.
1590  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain second password on: September 03, 2020, 07:41:05 AM
Having a wallet with second password doesn't mean its more secure besides what you should priority is to remember and should have backup is your recovery seed.

Even there's a second password or even third if your recovery seed was compromised or accessed by anyone then those password are useless.

Is the ledger nano s enough to do that?
So far, yes.

I dont seem to understand why the x version is double in price, is it worth it?
Nano x has more storage and can support up to 1000 crypto and its bluetooth function, better look and buttons, so far that's the difference between S and X.
1591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a cryptocurrency software developer? on: September 02, 2020, 11:54:43 PM
First, learn programming language you want to use in developing, having basic knowledge in programming is enough no need to master any programming language.

Second, is a huge knowledge on how cryptocurrency works, and focus on aspects it needs for improvements, what feature you can add to make the current software/client looks better than what it is today.

Lastly, motivation, a good developer having lots of knowledge on IT and crypto field without motivation can't do anything.
1592  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Possible Malfunctioning of Bitpay App on: September 02, 2020, 06:26:46 PM
I was able to get a mobile Electrum Mobile wallet App.
So what's the use of the electrum mobile wallet?

[...]
The password that I use to enter the Bitpay website is the same
password I used to create the Bitpay mobile App. So I entered the password. I then received an error message. That
stated "Wrong password"...How could this be??? I never used a different password with this App or the
Bitpay website??? What happened and what do I do to correct this???
Never used bitpay wallet but how about a request for another password in "forget password".
1593  Economy / Services / Re: Airdrop Token promotion marketing looking for promotion ways on: September 02, 2020, 06:11:43 PM
You could hire an (experienced) bounty manager to do that work for you.

Feel free to take a look and check this thread or here, though these threads are bit outdated most users on that list still active for their service.
1594  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: any good ptp site with direct pay? on: September 02, 2020, 04:47:07 PM
Have you observed that you posted the same content before but you never get a response its because people don't understand what you're looking for? I suggest you to update your question/thread for us to answer you.
1595  Other / Meta / Re: How do you encrypt bitcointalk messages? on: September 02, 2020, 07:06:04 AM
Some users use PGP encrypted message to communicate here see sample here, or just use end-to-end encrypted messaging app.

1598  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [WTS] Selling Banner Spot on my site, with ALexa rank of 28000 on: August 30, 2020, 04:33:21 PM
Saw this thread due to bump feature.

A little heads up, move this thread to Services section as you're selling your service.

Your price is too high, even the most visited news media outlet in crypto industry don't offer such amount, they go on CPM or CPC instead of fixed payment.
1599  Other / Meta / Re: Do I have a chance to recover my account? on: August 30, 2020, 03:40:18 PM
If you have banned due to plagiarism or ban evasion your chance of recovering your account is slim to zero.
1600  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Zümminer - Zumminer - What have happened? on: August 30, 2020, 01:53:54 PM
Thanks for the answers.

So my money is gone?  Cry
Assuming that the owner isn't going to give back the website users funds, then unfortunately, yes, your funds is gone now.

All you have to do is to serve this is a lesson and don't ever use any cloud mining website for your own good.
