1601  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have an idea of game. But can't programmed. on: February 26, 2015, 05:59:20 PM
It sounds like a really small lotto!  I probably wouldn't play it myself, but the idea is fair enough as long as it is fair and the house edge small.

why would you not play it? it is just a general idea, OP could come up with something like why the other 4 players will win instead of it being random anyway
I don't generally play games of luck, I like to be able to blame myself when my bets lose, rather than fortune.
For those that like that sort of thing though, it sounds good.
1602  Economy / Gambling / Re: Football and NFL betting this weekend. on: February 26, 2015, 05:57:26 PM
Lets have a little bit of midweek action, I'll take Liverpool to win in Turkey at 2.36.
Thanks
1603  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat-BTC Banks Merging on: February 26, 2015, 03:42:20 PM
I doubt it's a scam.  Given the improving world economy I bet there are more moves like this and more exchanges opening up to take advantage of the emerging crypto markets.
You doubt it is a scam? Are you new to crypto? Almost everything is a scam sooner or later. Neo and Bee, the first bitcoin bank - Scam. MtGox the first and biggest exchange - scam, look on scam accusations, there are a hell of a lot, people have tried to scam me here, I am going through a scam case with Purse.io now and people I have dealt with have gone rogue later and scammed people... Be very careful with your money people.
1604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another reason why bitcoin fails on: February 26, 2015, 03:29:15 PM
Anyone can make their own coin on the same fundamentals as bitcoin and claim it's interchangeable 1 on 1. Effectively doubling the amount of bitcoin in circulation. So the real supply is infinite.
That is utter tosh, if that is true, why don't you do it and show us?
You can even keep all of the coins and you have made yourself a few billion.  Unless someone actually calls on you to interchange the token for bitcoin, which you can't, because you don't have them..

Your reasoning would be the same for normal money too, ignore market forces, rates etc, I sa it is worth 1:1, so it is  Huh

1606  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any way to beat the dice sites? on: February 26, 2015, 03:24:34 PM
The odds are against you, you can minimize your chance of losing by having a good staking strategy, but if you play enough you will lose.
A quick in and out is the only way to win, hope that luck favours you, then get out with your winnings, it sounds easier than it is!
1607  Economy / Speculation / Re: SecondMarket Bitcoin Investment Trust Observer on: February 24, 2015, 09:48:48 PM
Not much going on, true. But I also believe it's even incredible that there's more money going in when people aren't able to cash-out. Do you think people may be more tempted to buy on Coinbase or future ETFs, maybe?

The feds selling off chunks is also helpful for investors, they don't need secondmarket as much to get involved.  It does seem a shame that they aren't continuing to accumulate though, at least they aren't dumping...
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ★★★★★NBA/SOCCER/TENNIS PICKS (46W/16L)★★★★★ on: February 24, 2015, 09:45:16 PM
Champions League Pick:

Manchester City vs Barcelona: Barcelona to win

Juventus vs Borussia Dortmund: Juventus to win

GL
Very nice, I hope you doubled them up too, if you did it will have been a great evening for you!
I fancied Dortmund to avoid the loss at least.
1609  Economy / Gambling / Re: English Premier League and UEFA champions league Picks on: February 24, 2015, 09:43:36 PM
Who are you picking for the City-Barca game next week?

Definitely Barcelona. City just don't have the big team mentality that is required to do well in the champions league. But we will see how the odds look when we get there Smiley
Agree completely, they have flattered to deceive for years in the champions league for years, apart from beating a 10 man Bayern, they have hardly had a good result for years.
Well Barca did the business for you, or at least Man City did!
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2015 and WHY on: February 24, 2015, 03:38:45 PM
Why is LTC sinking? I haven't really followed it so don't know any obvious reasons.

Let's see $0.50 per LTC  Cheesy

Yea my question was why? I'm aware that its low at the moment but why?
Because bitcoin has been falling? and if bitcoin fails, all Bitcoin clones and varients will also fail.  Nect generation alts would have a chance, but why in the world would people decide to use Litecoin if the world decides against Bitcoin?
1611  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US Warns It Is Ready to Walk Away From Iran Nuclear Talks on: February 24, 2015, 03:36:31 PM
It's really cool and funny how US can own Nuclear bombs and shit , and the others countries simply can't . *world peace* yep right

~ Madness

They are also the only nation in history to have ever used these devices on civilians, with lots of people trying to claim without it they wouldn't have won or they casualties would be enormous for there side.

I know right , they are full of bullshit .
Like with sadam in Iraq (We know that they have no weapons of mass destruction but let's enter and kill him and takes Iraq's oil , shall we ?)

~ Madness
With all of the conflicts going on in the world, be it with ISIS or Ukraine or Nigeria or possible future problems between China and Japan, my main fear would always be that the Americans get involved and use nukes.
I really don't think any other nation is gung ho or stupid enough to do it, but America has done it before and I think they would do it again, in order to act first against possible aggreassion against them.
1612  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin says Russia's military strength unmatchable on: February 24, 2015, 03:33:47 PM
Funny. If the US wasn't spending exorbitant amounts of funding on defense I might believe Putin.

The US has the biggest army but Russia can compete.

I think China has the biggest one, in terms of strength.
I have a feeling that if it actually came to a land war (it won't) the Russians would quickly be shown up and routed.
They have lots of troops and good equipment, but even stuff that is 10 years old is pretty much antiquated now.  I think their air defences would be fine to start with, but would be targetted pretty quickly and then the air dominance of the americans would show.

Like I say, I don't think it will happen, but the fact that America spends so much more than the rest of the worlds surely means that they have the best technology too
1613  Economy / Economics / Re: The Banking system are highly illiquid right now on: February 24, 2015, 02:13:55 PM
This article talks about how people are trying to protect their assets :

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-02-19/meet-bureaucrat-who-had-courage-tell-truth-will-be-jobless-tomorrow

Big financial institutions in Europe can't sell more than a few millions euros worth of bonds to a bank, the market is highly illiquid. Gold and Bitcoin should thrive when the thin lawyer of confidence that the western populations have in their banking systems start to crack. It could be in a year or two years but it feels like it started so it could happen much sooner.

Zerohedge is great but predicts doom all the time!
There ahave been stress tests recently and even if they weren't really thorough enough, the banks all passed, so they aren't completely illiquid!
1614  Economy / Speculation / Re: The proof of the Huge dump on: February 24, 2015, 02:12:05 PM
Hello all,
Today I have a really bad news were the bitcoin price will drop alot next days
Heres my proof :

Selling 50K bitcoin : http://www.coindesk.com/us-marshals-auction-50000-bitcoins-march/

Mt Gox cheat users : http://www.coindesk.com/report-mt-gox-data-provides-more-clues-to-trading-bot-willy/

Bitcoin poker site hacked : http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-poker-site-seals-with-clubs-closes-after-security-compromise/

Bter hacked : http://www.coindesk.com/bter-bitcoin-stolen-cold-wallet-hack/

Lawyer ban bitcoin in Hong kong : http://www.coindesk.com/mycoin-hong-kong-police-8-1-million/

Those huge loses will not let bitcoiners in peace , price will drop and bitcoiner will also lose confindence in their coins
They don't write news articles to predict that someone will dump a load of coins.  The auction won't be going through an exchange, so won't affect the price The rest of your links are all irrelevent.
1615  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Grow your bitcoin - Pay 0.01 BTC today, get 1 BTC tomorrow on: February 24, 2015, 02:10:19 PM
Just a 100x return in a day, not even worth he risk!
Seriously though, does anyone actually fall for these "tricks"?
1616  Economy / Gambling / Re: English Premier League and UEFA champions league Picks on: February 24, 2015, 02:08:31 PM
My new picks for the day are out. Hopefully this week I can improve my picks. I am looking at changing my betting strategy. I might stray away from the premier league, The refs make the league too unpredictable. Good luck guys.

http://community.cryptobettor.com/t/new-year-new-picks/715/10

The refs making the leaue too umpredictable is a cop out if ever I heard one! You can't blame the refs for poor bets, beleive me, I wish I could!

"Halfway through I got tired and just wanted to get it over with"

the reason why dice sites make lots of money, poor staking strategies!
1618  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: How many people lost in ponzi's on: February 23, 2015, 05:04:41 PM
I would assume that everyone but the person who sets up the ponzi loses out sooner or later.
You are at their mercy as soon as you "invest"

1620  Economy / Gambling / Re: SUREBETS- arbitrage on sport bets, total profit 139.95 mBTC on: February 23, 2015, 05:01:19 PM
Arbitrage betting is not as easy as we think, when you find some thing, then suddenly you can see the odds changing, so need funded accounts in multiple bookmarkers, otherwise its will difficult to fund your account.  Finding arbitrage is one of the biggest challenge... all the best...
I've known quite a few arbers in my time, do you get your account limited at bitcoin bookies like you do with normal bookies?
