This is a bit complicated. If an illegal alien gets employment after submitting fake documents, then how can the employer be held responsible for it? And nowadays, forged documents are easily available from dark markets.

E-verify. We have a system where you can put in the social of a worker, and see if its valid. If that worker already has 55 jobs, it may be safe to say you may have a false social.

This is the same Comey that fucked the free world when he opened his mouth to talk about Hillary and those goddamned emails ,(to a moderate or liberal, hear about those goddamned emails is akin to the frustration a Trump supporter feels when Russia is mentioned). So, that we have established Comey has no love for the Clinton's, what have we to say about this?
...

$10 says that if Comey didn't to this very minimal and fairly appropriate thing, the 650k pieces of 'content' from Weiner's laptop would have made it into the wild for a broader audience to analyze.  Hopefully at some point 'we, the people' will still get a chance to judge whether that content is or is not 'relevant' to our leadership choices...to the extent that we have many real choices in this respect.

I personally am pretty consistent.  I would like to see all the material on the 'Russia connection' no matter who it involved.  So would at least Roger Stone who is implicated by the media.  I doubt that much would be found, and probably nothing of any real consequence relative to the Trump campaign effort.  A fair bit more about other operatives who have been in power over the last few cycles I would bet.

As for the Weiner material, I suspect that it is at least a rich vein off the mother lode of material used to blackmail a fair number of those with influence in DC.  That I would dearly love to peruse, and I would expect it to change the face of U.S. politics and policy for a long time to come if it is released.  And change it for the better from a Joe Citizen point of view.

To hell with Weiner courting little girls. I wanna hear about Trump getting pissed on.

Alot of us can give a flying fuck about the Clintons. She was a shitty candidate. We could give fewer fucks because ultimately, she didn't win. So much easier and more important to focus on the fucked up stuff our actual, elected president is doing. Weiner is a pervert. This, isn't even debatable at this point.

So, Comey himself is trying to quash #45s claims of being tapped by the former president. Mostly because it's bullshit, but partially because it makes the GOP, and himself, look bad.

This is the same Comey that fucked the free world when he opened his mouth to talk about Hillary and those goddamned emails ,(to a moderate or liberal, hear about those goddamned emails is akin to the frustration a Trump supporter feels when Russia is mentioned). 1644  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I have a better solution to the illegal alien issue. Let's jail the employers. on: March 05, 2017, 09:35:55 PM
Don't think you can get much harsher on the illegals than kicking them out of a country they call home, that they helped to support, while not giving them their stuff when you kick them out. I guess the next step from that is taking them out back and shooting them in the head, lol. So no. We have done quite enough with the laws concerning how to punish illegals. Hell, we just enhanced the laws, bigly. I'm talking about us (well, not us per se, I don't know if you do but I no longer own a business). The asshats that hire them.

But yes, the people that hire them should be deported as well. Or jailed. But only if a crime is committed (owners should not be punished if they unknowingly hire an illegal, they lie too LOL. Im not Anti American one bit. It's fucking awesome here. But when you have guys paying cash to guys that don't even have an ID, and avoiding taxes, yes, throw the book at them. Insert it in their ass, to the spine at least. The oblong way.

I guess I am essentially asking that in order for this directive against illegal immigration to be valid, we should place as much emphasis of enforcement on catching crooked business owners as catching illegals themselves. Because to me, if you cracked down on the Americans perpetuating this, suddenly there would be little incentive to come here illegally. And it's much cheaper to enforce, saving my tax money. Kill the head. Not the hands.

LOL, you have a sense of humor. Despite our differences, you can sit with us. I appreciate an appeal to reason rather than an attack. Only through synthesis can your ideas and my ideas make a better idea that is ours, together.

So, let me refute this. Bear with me, this will be long.

This is gonna help my post count like a motherfucker (I am quite enamored of that word).

1)For the coal miners.

Where should I start with this? Let me start by restating the intentions of the administration:

For too long, we’ve been held back by burdensome regulations on our energy industry. President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule. Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years.

Sound energy policy begins with the recognition that we have vast untapped domestic energy reserves right here in America. The Trump Administration will embrace the shale oil and gas revolution to bring jobs and prosperity to millions of Americans. We must take advantage of the estimated $50 trillion in untapped shale, oil, and natural gas reserves, especially those on federal lands that the American people own. We will use the revenues from energy production to rebuild our roads, schools, bridges and public infrastructure. Less expensive energy will be a big boost to American agriculture, as well.

Alright. Let's talk about those 'burdensome' regulations. I'm assuming they mean the Climate and Clean Water Acts. These regulations were designed in the first place to prevent harm to workers and citizens at the hands of corporate interest. Most people care if their water is clean. Same with their air. So why would anyone object to these regulations? They wouldn't. But a corporation would. Because adhering to regulation (maybe we shouldn't dump petrochemical waste into streams?) cost money. And cost affects profit. Which is why corporations set up shop in these places (factories are usually built on the cheapest land possible, in the cheapest community you can find it). Cheap labor, and not a lot of money to litigate if say, 10 years later the town finds out you have been dumping bullshit into the water. They are taking advantage of our poor white brothers and sisters. I don't like to see people taken advantage of.

Which brings me to coal as an energy source. Really? With all the other clean sources of energy available, for cheaper? But, the environment may not be a big deal for you. So, rather than come off like a liberal Captain Planet, I'll explain it in terms every red blooded American can understand. Money.

This article sums up my feeling about the future of the coal industry in America:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/heres-how-you-know-the-coal-industry-is-all-but-dead-2016-11

Now, I encourage you to read it (it's non partisan) but if you don't, let me TLDR you. China has been suppressing its coal output to drive up the price. IE, the price of coal is artificially inflated atm. So, if these prices are inflated, China can produce more at will (much, much more), and the American coal industry is still struggling to get by, how is this going to work long-term?

And let's talk about those untapped oil reserves. There is a reason they have been largely untapped by multiple administrations, on both sides of the isle. It's because they are of strategic importance, IE if we have to, say because of a war where OPEC stops giving us fuel, we won't be fucked. Taking oil from land, tends to fuck it up pretty badly for anything else. We realized a while back it might be smart to let other countries fuck their shit up first, and deplete their supplies of a limited resource, rather than deplete our own. With the threat of war looming from multiple actors (Iran, North Korea, and Russia), is this a good time to start using that gas to take the kids to soccer practice?

Don't you think it's odd the laws affecting petrochemical companies have changed so much so recently, when the CEO of Exxon just joined the cabinet?

To me, these protections, while granting some jobs, seem to benefit the CEO s of the companies that mine the coal, not the workers.

Do you think the companies, the elite, will allow that saved money to trickle down to the salaries of the workers, or enrich the communities they operate in?

I don't.

I'll refute the next point later. My fingers hurt. Your move.
1646  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Big: Donald Trump claims Obama spyied him, claims this is Watergate-level event on: March 05, 2017, 08:30:37 PM
Y'all do know the judge had to have probable cause to issue that warrant, right? And they rejected the warrant twice before they accepted it?

And if all this is true, if Obama did do it, why is there so much outrage at a criminal investigation into some seemingly criminal shit, that was criminal enough on the surface for a federal judge to be like "No, Naw, wait, hot damn! Maybe you should check this out!". Aren't investigations supposed to be about uncovering the truth? And if there is nothing to hide, then what's the issue, friends?

The truth will set you free. Or get you locked up for treason.

1647  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Big: Donald Trump claims Obama spyied him, claims this is Watergate-level event on: March 05, 2017, 08:26:50 PM
Let me get this straight.

So you are saying that the head of the executive branch, not the judicial branch (with Mr. 'Let's Investigate' Comey), which would be the only arm of government that would be able to do this legally (and this was legal, because a judge approved it) ordered this survellience? A hostile judge, which denied the request twice (this is very uncommon), was asked by the FBI. The same FBI that kept us awake at night behind some silly ass emails, and that initially refused to investigate Trussia.

Sounds like, to me, if a judge granted said warrant, after two attempts, (which was specifically targeted at a server that was being used to communicate with Russia, beyond the shadow of a doubt), that maybe, just maybe, there might be something to investigate? ....

You mean the server that the FBI said they found nothing on?

That contradicts what you've said, doesn't it?

How so?

When did the FBI investigate the server, which they can't do without a court order, before they investigated the server? This only happened once. With a court order. You do also know that no one in the White House can order this, right? This is a function if the legislative branch. Your friend Comey (who is certainly a friend of Trump) had to authorize this, given the level of the investigation (foreign intelligence).

So why are Trump's friends looking through his shit?

And the last time I checked, they were still looking  Wink

And again, can you point out how I've contradicted myself?

I'm sorry you hated Obummer. But he really doesn't have the power to do what has been accused. It's not his job, he honestly wouldn't even be aware of this unless he was briefed. The FBI would have had to do this, as, you know, it's their job. Our president is in bed with the Russians, I am sorry this is a bitter pill to swallow. As hard as it is for you, it's even worse for the rest of us, because we didn't vote for this backwoods bastard. We are having to eat shit pie with the rest of America. Kinda like it must have felt under Obama.

Now if this was a drone strike, oh yeah, Obama did it. Put the fucking D in drone strike, if you ask me.
1648  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I have a better solution to the illegal alien issue. Let's jail the employers. on: March 05, 2017, 07:31:43 PM
Wandering through the board today, soaking in all the delicious, xenophobic hate, something occurred to me. Since American outcry at illegal immigration is based in 1)they took our jobs and 2) they are bad hombres, let's examine why illegal aliens are here in the first place.

To work.

Last time I checked, you need a job to work. And in the Good Ole U S of A, it's illegal to hire undocumented workers. So, why aren't we arresting the people that are committing treason by hiring these guys? They wouldn't come here if there were no jobs. So why not punish the transgressors AND those that facilitate the transgressions, equally? Are we gonna let guys  go that would rather pay less and not use American workers, rather than pay a decent wage and use Americans? I meant, what would Trump do?

He would get those UnAmerican sons of bitches right out of here. Giving away our jobs, making us build a wall. Doesn't that seem not bigly at all? WEAK!

So if we are making America great again, why don't we start at the top? Harsher penalties on employing illegals would discourage the employment of said illegals, and why would you come here for no jobs?

Or is the reason that most business owners are white, rich and male, and that this would overwhelming only affect them?

Your thoughts. And I want the trolls to come out. I'm getting paid to refute D grade ignorance from bigoted bastards, this is a liberal wet dream, I assure you.
What makes you think that migrants take your jobs? If the place is empty so it is not yours. Why do you think that Trump can tell me who to hire? This is my business and not for him to decide whom to hire. If you like you will say such words, you may encounter a problem when the protest will only accept migrants.

I think you misunderstood me. I think Trump's deportation order is harmful and non productive.

I personally don't think migrants take our jobs. Last time I checked, mowing grass, cleaning a hotel or someones house, or picking produce was not something I'm really that into. Any American for that matter, but that's a different thread. Here, it's against the law to hire undocumented workers (the kind that the deportation order is trying to push out). I'm saying, if these guys are breaking the law being here, but actual citizens are breaking the law (by hiring them) and perpetuating the problem, why don't we punish both? Arrest the American with the Mexicans. That's only fair, no?

I'm not talking about the travel ban. That's a whole different stupid. I'm talking about the directive for ICE to deport illegal immigrants who are only here to work. It's not so much stupid as ignorant (things will cost alot more without the cheap labor these guys provide). Also, not winning too many popularity points with Mexico over this.

''He also was criticized today for asking the National Science Foundation to find out "Why the moon looks so small. If it really is bigger than a football field, how come it looks about the size of a basketball". He had authorized $29 million to answer that question but abruptly withdrew the request."

Are the above⬆ even necessary?  I like reading articles or posts that just go straight to the point.

Uhh, fucking yes. This man determines policy for the entire fucking world. Do you want that man to be an idiot (and it sad because he has clearly demonstrated intelligence before this campaign,). All this is posturinng designed to support his base, which, at this point in the shitshow of an administration, is just right wing racist. Point to me a single motherfucking policy that has helped poor whites, the guys that put him into office? Rolling back Dodd Frank, so the elite can fuck us legally? Rolling back EPA, which also is a strong arbiter of workers rights, so that factory workers can get hurt on the job and have no recourse? Or maybe draining the swamp by appointing a full cabinet of rich assholes which have made it to their life's mission to do EXACTLY the opposite of the office they were elected to? You might have fucking hated Obama, for whatever rrason., no fucks given. He can defend himself. But for all the push back that the first black president got (over two terms, must have not been that bad, will of the people and all), did the entire free fucking world ever react like this?

Wonder why?

Will you really stand with Trump, and fall with him? I will help you up, because you are my brother, but I'll be goddamned if I didn't say over and over again that I told you so. You are playing a dangerous game, friend.

Dude you must be a libtard.
Mr. Donald "Jesus" Trump just dismantles regulations like dodd frank and departments like the EPA and DoED to make better ones!!!!

I taste your sarcasm  Wink I used to not affiliate with either party (nothing really sums up my beliefs enough for me to accept the label). But, if this is liberal retardation, then call me a moron I guess  Grin

1650  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I want to censor my internet on: March 05, 2017, 06:48:28 PM
I can attest (though not for so long a time as that) this does work. Technology use nowadays (which is mostly entertainment or convenience) is mostly habitual. Unconditioning those habits, or replacing them, is healthy. And a note on privacy from state actors. Even if you could hear all the voices in the room, it would be hard to separate a single voice and hear it clearly through the cacophony. That's the current state of affairs with government surveillance. You are psuedo anon, like bitcoin, because it's hard to single out one person with all the noise. When you listen to all the Facebook posts, from the LOL cats to the fight clips, eventually, you tune out everything that isn't "I am a crazy head and intend to do harm to myself, or others".

So, just be aware you are always on record, if you use an electronic medium of communication. It doesn't diminish you, which is the most important thing. But it does give you some considerations.

But when they tune in, you are quite fucked.

Quite separate from PRIVACY (which is another important issue). The concern is if the over-stimulation of a certain type of message is effecting me without my knowing (a bit like subliminal messaging etc.)
It seems to me that it is not possible. It has long been known that 25 fps is a fiction. Same thing with other technologies of this kind. I think everything is much easier. People inspire thoughts through the fake news.

25fps?
Either I missed something, you are in the wrong thread, or you are smoking the best of the drugs.

And to OP, tune out completely then. We weren't designed for this level of stimulation, electronics resemble drugs in the way they engage our pleasure centers. Also, with communications technology at its current state, you are always being advertised at, and those ads are designed to subvert your will. Don't expose yourself to this needlessly.

We lived for centuries without TVs. Cellphones and PCs (and most other consumer electronics), while useful, are only tools if used as such. Otherwise, they are entertainment. And too much entertainment without work will make you soft.

Don't want to be rude here but I feel pity for those posters here who doesn't lived in the Philippines but still have lots of shit sayings. How come they will know the situation here if there only reference is the MEDIA? Come on, everything you read in the internet is not always true.

What if drug addicts/users/pushers fights back when being arrested? Police will just watched even they are receiving lots of bullets? How heroic.

What about the drug user victims? Is it ok to kill innocent people, raped girls randomly at any age, do hostages and robbery because the person involved was addicted to drugs? Does it have a consideration because the suspects are drug addicts?

Other people have no idea how big the drug problem here in the Philippines prior to Duterte's occupancy at the Presidential office so stop saying non sense thing which people really doesn't have an idea. You are just one of the people who just uses media news as references without thinking outside the box.

People here are into human rights but for years passed they didn't even see or being read in a news that a Commission on Human Rights or UN are doing investigation of drug related victims. Can't even sees them saying they condemn the activity. Random rapes, hostages, robbery, killings, just for fun killings etc. Right now that drug users are being the one that killed they are spending too much time to investigate. How pathetic.

We have addicts in America too, love. We have gotten past the crack cocaine epidemic, the synthetic cannabinoids/stimulant epidemic, and are in the grips of the largest epidemic, opioids, as we speak. We kill our citizens, but mostly because they are poor or Black, not because they are addicted.

You were saying something about not understanding addition...?

And the reason there is a drug problem is because the economy is fucked up. Drugs only become an issue when people start killing each other to get them. Usually, that's a poor thing. I can afford pot, I don't have to stab a motherfucker to get my fix.

And you don't need to be on drugs to commit crimes. It's pretty easy. Rape happens when people are sober. Just like murder. And theft. Humans don't need special states of mind to be shits. It's apparently pretty easy.

Im expecting a much boarder and clearer respond but it doesn't go that way.

Clearly you guys are just using media as reference/s that's why all I read is just a random thoughts about other people's view outside PH in the country's current war on drugs. I understand that you didn't have much knowledge about what Im trying to say since you are there and Im here literally.

Well maybe Im out as this discussion will lead to nowhere.

Don't run! We have so much to discuss!

And why shouldn't we trust your media, or international media? Damn this fake news, it strikes again (that's sarcasm).

No, I'm saying you are being naive to assume only your country has a drug problem. We have people nodding off in the grocery store, high on heroin, with the kids running around unattended. You guys didn't invent getting high. You don't even produce your own drugs. And I think I have a bit more expertise with substance than you, but I won't get into that. I have trafficked with coke heads and heroin addicts. They are people with a bad situation, not fucking animals to be put down. As your culture gets more used to drug epidemics, you will approach a treatment model rather than a punishment model for dealing with addicts, like other nations.

And for your soul, love, please never think that another human has the right to take another life. This portfolio belongs solely to our Lord. Imprisonment, for life, but never the right to deny breath. But you may not be Christian. So no worries.

Would you leave a child fatherless, because his dad was getting high? Answer me, please. Does the kid deserve that, even if his pops did? Because people don't die in a vacuum.

The media is over reacting the numbers of death and all blaming it to the president. Tho it might be true that his war on drugs killed tons of life, it isn't his order alone that lead to those people deaths. It may be the drug sindicate itself killing innocent people to make a bad image of the war on drug project in the media.

Tell me why killng your customers, that are lifelong customers because your product is addictive, is a good idea.

McDonald's doesn't poison the burgers.

Budweiser doesn't rig the beer.

You don't have to pretend to make this look bad. It's fucking terrible, optically, on its lonesome. And while you may have never taken a drug in your life, is killing someone, denying them the chance to live and love, to fuck, to breathe, to be human and alive goddamnit, worth it because they are addicted to a drug? How are they going to get better, and help others to get better with their perspective, if they are slumped in a fucking ditch with a piece of lead lodged in their head? I pray none of your family falls prey to a substance. Because they will be so much cold meat. Fuck turning ones life around. You had a chance, now you blew it, so you die. That's totally reasonable. Because our presidents usually joking ask our Cold War enemies to do more Cold War-esque shit. Perfectly normal, what was I thinking? We will burn the fucking world to the ground in this attempt to make America great again (because we all missed the time when racist, bigoted and misogynistic people called the shots, only to the benefit of themselves).

The media is over reacting the numbers of death and all blaming it to the president. Tho it might be true that his war on drugs killed tons of life, it isn't his order alone that lead to those people deaths. It may be the drug sindicate itself killing innocent people to make a bad image of the war on drug project in the media.

I can partially agree with you. Compare the war on drugs in Mexico, to that in the Philippines. As per the conservative estimates, the Mexican Drug War has caused around 100,000 deaths. The number of deaths from the drug war in Philippines is just a small fraction of that number.

They all blamed the killings on the government of the Philippines. And the President said that he didn't ordered the killing of all of them, but UN thinks differently. But the UN can't do anything they can say whatever they want but Duterte will do his thing. And what sanctions will the UN against the President of the Philippines? He is fighting the drug problem in his country and don't want the Philippines to be like Mexico, where drugs are very rampant and the government can't do anything.

So what you are saying is, it's OK to kill people that are addicted to drugs? Take a person's life, that gas family, kids, a place in the community, because the are enslaved to a substance and need help shaking it? Can we kill  all fat people? Clearly they are addicted to foid? Surely they must die, right? Drugs are bad, m'kay.

The Philippines is predominantly Christians, no? Makes me wonder, because clearly this is not the fuck what Jesus would do. he would spin zestily in his non existent grave.

And if Mexico only killed 3 people, so the fuck what? Are you seriously comparing genocide to genocide? What to see who has the longer dick? Killing your fucking citizens is usually a bad idea. They pay taxes and shit, for the most part. Thats like saying it cool to rape nuns and babies because the other guys raped.twice as many as us.

Second place asshole is still, 100 percent genuine asshole.

All this is posturing designed to support his base, which, at this point in the shitshow of an administration, is just right wing racist.

1658  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Big: Donald Trump claims Obama spyied him, claims this is Watergate-level event on: March 05, 2017, 04:49:46 PM

Why are Trump supporters so eager to overlook that our enemy, a foreign state, may have coluded with the current administration to subvert the election? If there is nothing there, why the hesitance to investigate? Surely the truth will set you free. And you can tell all those 'libtards" I told you so.

Isn't the country the most important thing, patriot? Aren't you American? Don't you want to make it great again? Can't be great if our president is giving another state actor that is our enemy a handjob under the table.

I see a lot of the racists on the board (you will have suuuch an interesting conversation with the Father) that aren't aware of the differences between culture and religion. The misogyny comes from Arab culture, not from Islam.

To be clear, this all comes down to the talking point about Aisha's age. ....the hadiths that point to her being younger are disputed (kinda like how we ignore the Apocrypha).

This guy was a fucking pervert. And from a culture that has serious issues with women's rights (rape rate is off the chain). Don't think this was so much about him being Muslim as just being a terrible person. ...

Well, you seem to contradict yourself and make the exact opposite point there.

Now explain how you separate "culture" and "Islam" in the case of Sharia law.

Lol...

What particular facet of Sharia? Ranges from financial edicts to edicts on health. Also, we don't practice Sharia in the US if A. And we have Muslims. So, if that's what you meant, Islam does not predicate the misogynistic/patriarchal aspects (as that shit would clearly not fly over here).

Also, which part of Sharia law do you disagree with in particular, and why? I'm Christian, but the way Sharia law handles usury and business benefits most Christians better than the traditional financial system, which is quite unchristian.

To be clear, this all comes down to the talking point about Aisha's age. This is the Holy Grail of Islamophobia; wielded with the same zeal as FBI crime statistics on African Americans in the debate on Black crime. For the record, most people that actually practice the religion do not believe that she was nine. This is established; the hadiths that point to her being younger are disputed (kinda like how we ignore the Apocrypha).

This guy was a fucking pervert. And from a culture that has serious issues with women's rights (rape rate is off the chain). Don't think this was so much about him being Muslim as just being a terrible person.

And if you are going to bring up pedophilia, you are being a coward not to bring up the rampant pedophilia that happens in both Christian and Jewish places of worship. Even if you want to believe that Islam condones this, then in the same breath concede me this; what worse, the very teachers of this faith performing this sin, like in the case of the priests touching the kids, or just a guy in the faith that does this? Both are equally vile, but when the actual guys that are supposed to be the moral compass are fucking the kids, that actually gets in my craw a little deeper.

I find it funny that people that are too ignorant to actually research this stuff, have such strong opinions on it. T
Islam is the same false religion as the Muslims themselves. I do not advocate any religion. I'm an atheist, but I compare the behavior of people based on their religion. It seems to me that Muslims are the most aggressive and deceitful.

Check out Satanism. It's an actual religion, and was in vogue in Hollywood back in the day. It's still around, but it's gotten much better at flying under the radar.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaVeyan_Satanism

It's funny they never get vilified when the Islam discussion cones up. despite actually having a religion that openly espouses getting ahead at the expense of others, and openly practicing evil, selfish works. Founder actually is a pedo.

And as an atheist, I'm assuming you used to come from an Abrahamic faith. In my experience, most atheists reject a childhood religion when they see it grossly misapplied. Misapplication isn't actual practice. Do you think that the people you were around were good representatives of said faith, given how you reacted? Bad Christians aren't Christians. They are mislead people spouting non sensical bullshit. And it's those people that fuck it up for everyone else.

Also, as an atheist, recognize your bias. You have obviously seen some shitty stuff done in the name of God. Don't you think that may have colored your perceptions a bit?
