« Don't get me started on "money laundering." It's a completely artificial crime. It wasn't even heard of 20 years ago, because the "crime" didn't exist. Now, everyone speaks of it as though it were a real crime, like murder. It's ridiculous, and further proof of the totally degraded state of the average person worldwide, absolutely including US citizens – what we used to call Americans. The government proclaims something as a law, and "sheeple" robotically assume it's part of the cosmic firmament. If an official tells them to do or not to do something, they roll over on their backs like whipped dogs and wet themselves out of fear. The War on Drugs may be where "money laundering" originated as a crime, but today it has a lot more to do with something infinitely more important to the state: the War on Tax Evasion. »
Oh their god, this is a marvelous quote!
he forgot to mention the war on child porn... that's what takes away a large chunk of our freedoms these days. maybe that's too touchy a subject even for casey.

I am offering to sell my debt for 35BTC. I will give imsaguy your bitcoin address and all repayments will go directly to you.
i will happily buy your debt for 1.2 BTC. anyone else want to bid higher? perhaps you should start an auction thread for it, bitsinmyhead, if you are serious about on-selling the debt.

Bitcoin is bigger than the Internet.
That's technically impossible considering it relies on the internet. duuuh my phone relies on it's battery, but my phone is bigger than it's battery [insert venn diagram here]

hey jeremy, if an aussie in australia wants to have aussie dollars deposited into his aussie bank account, i think you should make the exchange rate calculator on the left of that page automatically set itself to AUD. http://www.spendbitcoins.com/convert/pay-bills-with-bitcoins/also, i think that form should have an optional field for 'transaction reference'.

The correction that started from the $7.2 high is now officially over. The 30-day average is moving to green across the board. Not official, official will be if it CLOSES above. And that’s just one indicator. sorry i missed something somewhere... when does it ever close?

Bitcoins should not need to optimize themselves for thieves and money launderers but should instead optimize themselves for use by honest folk.
i disagree that something as neutral as money should be biased towards any specific kind of person. i do agree that as you say, this is not a technical problem.
