@VRobb Do you have a link to the product page?
Sales starts in?
Delivery time?
Price?

I'm curious, where did you see an announcement for this? I can't find any product page.

Phil, any news about discussions with Yoshi?
I think a good move would be that they would be able to send a Dragonmint unit to you for a review in March or April.
It would repair some PR damage.

My bet is that this is manufactured in Innosilicon facility and shares same components, like control board and the steel tube design.
The constant mystery curtain around this Dragonmint case is just something I can not understand, and also I still don't know why they decided to kick me out in the telegram chat group.

Packing those miners without a control board seems fishy as hell, and only reason I can think of is that because I've revealed that it is a Innosilicon hardware.

Control boards are missing entirely.
I think they should change the video to "Stacking of DragonMint 16T". Production of a miner is typically quite a bit more complex than placing a thing on a pallet.
Yeah they suddenly think it is better idea to pack them to a pallet without any control board included, after I mentioned that it is a Innosilicon control board. Seriously, wtf. Something in all this smells fishy. Also kicking me out of the telegram group chat seems fishy.

It is a software issue...I work pretty closely with them since my miners use their chips. Been trying to get a L21 unit from them to help them fix the software but so far they have been out of stock and cant send me one.
What do you mean by "my miners"? Jstefanop is the entrepreneur and main developer for the FutureBit miniminers. His latest product is FutureBit Moonlander 2, which is a USB stick miner. It uses the same 28nm ASIC chip as the BW-L21 miner uses.

It sells much better than if they would sold those as S7 miners like they are.
"OOOOHHH NEW MINERRSSS!!!" vs. "Oh that's just a old S7, booooooo."

The A821 also uses the same AUC3 converter for the I2C communication, so the answer is yes.

No, it is a May batch pre-order..
Sigh.

I didn't post spam or insult anybody.
I mentioned Innosilicon once again.
I got kicked.
My posts got deleted.
This is sensorship at it's best.

PLEASE NOTE:
There is sensorship in the DragonMint Telegram group chat.
I was kicked out.
BtcDrak and/or other admins kicks people out when you say something he doesn't want to be said.

@apax Thanks for sharing this info. Good to know that they are working on a solution to fix the issue.

Another interesting thing to note is these are 54 chip boards. The S7 hasnt been 54 chip since batch 3 or 4. They spent the majority of the time making the 45 chip model, so something has to be different.
The V9 has 135x chips, so it has 45x chips per one hash board. It is exactly the same as with the S7 later batches.

I find it odd that they are time after time avoiding my thorough question about the exactly similar design with Innosilicon hardware & software.
Usually when I ask this in the Telegram group chat, they just talk about different subject or post memes/emojis.
What makes you think you're so important that they should divulge trade secrets to a random stranger on a message board? Instead of everyone yelling scam why not just wait until March to see if the first batch of orders ship? The amount of time some of you are spending on this thread is nauseating. Copying Innosilicon hardware and software is now known as a 'trade secret'? Lol. I'm not thinking that I'm a important person. Just for the sake of people who have invested in this a lot of money, I would like things to be as transparent as with any other manufacturer company.

Just apply a new sticker on top of the S7 miner and undervolt & underclock it a little and voilą you have a 'brand new' V9 miner. Sorry unless it mines LTC at the same time then it is not profitable at the present BTC/USD price. Best to buy BTC. What? How is your post related to my post in any way?

My opinion is that BM1580 is just a rebrand name for the old ASIC chip BM1385, used in the S7 miner.

There will always be clueless people to buy whatever Bitmain decides to sell, and we can't do nothing about it..
