1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: *El Salvador To Start Purchasing Bitcoin Everyday* on: November 18, 2022, 09:44:19 PM
Shouldn't really be a big deal. They're pretty much just moving from buying dips, to sort of like dollar-cost averaging(obviously not exactly DCA, but slightly similar). Which they should've done in the first place instead of trying to timing prices.
El Salvador has its own goal to maximize their bitcoin purchase so this bear season is the perfect timing to start buying on a large scale. Whether they do it using DCA, that will still be at their own advantage since they will also reap their fruits of labor when the bullish market takes over. While others do the opposite timing in buying, El Salvador still manage to purchase everyday using their huge funds.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 18, 2022, 09:20:07 PM
Is it possible to stick with free spins on online casinos and still be able to make some good reward?

I am looking into the free side of things, no risk at all with free spins but the question is has anyone ever make something out of free spins before? Something reasonable at?

The last time I earned something free from gambling websites was when BTC has very low value and many faucets still run, that's couple of years back.
Well, there’s always chances of winning out from free spins most particularly if you are lucky that day. Having free spins is just like similar to promotions and bonuses wherein you can make a free spin as long as you also reach their minimum wagering amount. Yes, it could be tempting particularly if you have made a significant amount but for certain reasons, you can’t stick to it for profits when you are gambling.
1663  Other / Off-topic / Re: Life lessons from Bill gates and how it could make you a successful entrepreneur on: November 18, 2022, 08:59:47 PM
CONCLUSION
Nothing good come easy. It involves great work with passion. Your decision on what to become in life can drive you towards achieving your dreams. It may take some time to rationally get from where you are to where you want to be but you will definitely be there one day. Just take make a move, start something, be focus and see how success will drive you towards your dream.
Exactly.

And just as Bill Gates, what I've read with another wealthy guy in the name of Jack Ma. He said that when you're around 20s to early 30s is that you need to find a good boss.

Because everything that boss have learned with his entire experiences and run, he'll share to you just how good he is. There are people that don't have passion for business and making their own company so they stay in employment and working for a company.

That's applicable to them and when they have found a good boss, I guess all the learnings will be there and that good boss will encourage that person to start his entrepreneurial journey.
Having a good boss will always be your own advantage since he will be your role model and will guide you  until you find yourself wanting to have a business too. Because in reality, no one gets to progress if you stay behind your boss’ shadow. You have to make a separate journey and let all his good teachings be your own inspiration to start on your own. Sooner or later, success will come to you.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to prevent cheating in a game on: November 17, 2022, 10:53:14 PM

As a gambler what prevention measures will you take in other not to cheat on your game that you know a way on cheating to win or will you go ahead and cheat ?
I tell you mate, many of us will go ahead and cheat as long as we find a way of cheating, me personally, with all the money I've lost gambling on casinos, and never experienced the joy of winning a significant amount of money, i will be highly tempted to cheat as long as I know the right way to do it without being caught.
But unfortunately, there is no way I know of, neither do any of us here,  if there was, a lot of casinos would have closed down due to bankruptcy.

And by the way, I think is thread should be in the gambling discussion board, just my thought though.
Cheating is always bad but gamblers would really want to cheat just to win significant amount of profits, but the problem is there is no possible way to cheat in casinos. Either they will kick out from the casinos or they will get banned from it, and the fact that they will be oriented in the first place on the rules of the casino, so for sure they should not attempt to cheat or they will banned for the rest of their lives.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: There is Hope at the End of the Tunnel. Don't Give Up. on: November 17, 2022, 10:00:01 PM
He was once a billionaire but not anymore today. I don't know that guy, Chibueze. But if he's in good will to donate $500k of his wealth to the victims.

But upon reading the article[1], it's not an actual donation that he's going to do. It's like a fund that he's willing to lend to the victims or the exchange in rebuilding of what the damage has done. Let us say that he's literally going to donate it and just want to add to the fund. However, I think that won't be enough as the damage is already too big to stop.

"....Even if Binance is not buying FTX again why can't industry players come together and save the Industry by contributing and Lending them this Money? I am ready to support with $500k."

Today might be a very frustrating moment for Sam. But that Chibueze guy, I’m not really familiar about him. Maybe he’s really that wealthy to lend some funds to the victims and I think that’s a very humane act of him. But for Sam, I know he is not really in obsession for profits like he always said in his last interviews, but I know what had happened to him now is really unexpected and might bring fears to other big exchanges too.
1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 17, 2022, 09:31:51 PM
I’m playing same set of games on different casino not just to get the bonuses of each casino but also to have a different mood of my mind set. It really helps me to calm down and focus whenever I’m losing big time on one casino. It also helps me to not chase my previous losses because I think about it as fresh start.

With this regular routine, I notice that I have a specific casino that I’m always winning despite I’m playing same game that I lose huge amount on the other casino. I do randomly change the sequence of my game on casino and keeps giving me same good result on my personal lucky casino. I highly believe that this luck of mine related on how I feel when playing on that casino. I’m expecting that I will be lucky so my mind is always optimistic whenever I’m playing on it.

Do you have this kind of casino?

I have this one casino that I get very lucky and mostly get winning bets, and that becomes my favorite one. However, I don’t aim to create a lot of profits since I just gamble for fun, so definitely it never crossed my mind that there are lucky casinos and there are not. As much as gambling is concern, all casinos will never let us players win most of the time, the house will always win in the end.
1667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In trading and Investment you need to know one thing on: November 14, 2022, 08:44:09 PM
Now If we look that way trading and Investment we know sure thing Are WHALES whales Are king in Investment markets and trading.
Not true. Whales are same with smaller trader and investors. The difference is they use their money and asset to affect the market the way they wanted it to be. You could say that they can manipulate some of the event or outcome based on the market movement. They just ride the news that splurge the community.

One thing is for sure they also make mistakes and given an opposite result and not all the time they can win it.
Whales are mostly the big time investors in crypto and with their huge amount of investments that they are hodling, they will always try to manipulate the market so that the weak investors will panic and start selling their coins, and that’s when whales buy their assets at their own advantage. Some have succeeded while others end up failing, as they are just like regular traders that won’t succeed the market all the time.
1668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What have Bitcoin or crypto change in your life? on: November 14, 2022, 04:17:38 PM
Pretty similar experience — I didn't know crap about finance and investing before Bitcoin; Bitcoin pretty much jumpstarted my interest in finance and investing. I'd say even if all my bitcoin/crypto holdings went to zero today and never went back up(though I hope not), I'd still be a better position today than where I was 6 years ago because of all the acquired knowledge.
I think majority of us are less knowledgeable about finance and investing, until we started gaining significant knowledge in crypto. One thing that we should be grateful in the first place. And because of that, I’ve learned to give importance on every profit that comes my way, and use it wisely for a potential investment and save some for emergency funds. Though I’m not financially stable for now, but I know with bitcoin, it will always be possible in the long run.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 14, 2022, 03:50:10 PM
Hi all - so I have been playing at smaller crypto casino for a few years now. They have a TRX site and a USDT site. I have always played at the TRX site and have always had no issues with withdrawals etc. (Largest was around $26K USD)

I've started playing the USDT side recently and a week ago won $128K USD playing a few different Habanero and CQ9 games. I am waiting just over a week now with the casino telling me they are waiting for a verification report from the game provider and then they'll release my funds.

Not gonna lie I am getting worried and wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience or may have some insight. Thanks in advance!!

You should at least give us a name and warn others.

You know that they normally do not like bad advertising.  So, in case they keep stalling and do not let you withdraw your funds, you should start harassing them over their social networks.  And if possible, have a well-written article telling what is happening to post around. At least this was how I worked my issue out when it happened to me...
Right. Never hide the name of the site so that you can give us a warning too and maybe other gamblers have experienced the same too in the same site. Some casinos continue to do such foolish services because they don’t receive any formal complaints. So if they keep on ignoring your concern and give you hard time to withdraw your funds, then report it to your lawyer. Most likely, they will make an immediate solution so that their reputation will not be ruined.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Quitting only a break on: November 14, 2022, 03:10:28 PM
It has come to my notice that these people don't actually know what to do. instead of saying that they have quit they should know that they are actually  going on a gambling break..

I think that is the normal response that you will hear on gambling addicts, specially if they have big losses and they can't take it any more. But once they got the money in hand, they will simply go back and play again.

so it might be a gambling break is not equal to quitting. But again, that's what they head is telling their heart to say. And then flip the switch right away if they have that opportunity to gamble again.
Gambling addicts will definitely find it hard to quit gambling for good, they might say they’re ready to quit but IRL, they only need to take a break and then come back in gambling again if they become emotionally ready. However, if you keep your determination and have strong urge to really quit gambling, I believe it’s very possible. But it takes a lot of time processing before you can finally say you’re quitting for good.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Reduce Gambling Related Issues Like Suicide etc? on: November 14, 2022, 02:52:48 PM
There isn't much to be done honestly, as the gamblers themselves should know whether or not they're already crossing a point of no return. All other people can do is to warn them of the possible negative effects of too much gambling. Ads advocating against gambling won't stop any gambler honestly, similar to how negative ads are already placed on most cigarettes yet people aren't deterred in using them. It's a mental and psychological disorder that the gambler themselves, or anyone close to them, should know before any action can be done—at least in my opinion.
This is the reason why gambling is not for everyone. If you think that you can’t easily control yourself especially if you’re into any addiction, particularly gambling addiction, then never decide to enter gambling in the first place regardless if you do it for fun or for entertainment purposes only. Otherwise, you will find it very hard to exit from gambling especially if you have not win back a lot of your losses.

There might be a lot of ads against gambling, but they don’t bring heavy impact anymore to a gambling addict. The only way to minimize gambling addiction is to admit to yourself that you are now becoming an addict, so that you can ask for your family support and seek medical treatment if needed. That way, you will not resort into worst scenarios like suicidal and other gambling related issues.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinion on casinos that don't have ANN threads in the forum? on: November 13, 2022, 10:16:05 PM
A crypto casino /or a gambling site must have an official presence here on the forum.
it is a way to advertise and also a way to collect feedback from users.
Especially for platforms of a certain size I think this is an essential step. Personally I avoid any site with no presence here on forum...
Having an official thread is one big important step that a gambling casino must have. Although it’s not compulsory, but it’s the only way that the players will be more comfortable to play and will never be worried if there are sudden problems that will arise, because they have high hopes that it will be easily resolved through the help of the people active in the ANN thread. The reason why most of the reputable casinos never fail to create an official thread of their own.
1673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 13, 2022, 09:59:13 PM
Losing money on investing is a frightening proposition. However, you can protect your money and reduce stress in a falling market by avoiding five common pitfalls made by crypto investors.

Panic
Putting in Emotional Efforts
Investing short-term
Overtrading
Mental Health

Learn More: https://mycryptoparadise.com/5-common-mistakes-to-avoid-during-a-crypto-bear-market/
However, if you are still a newbie in trading, never expect that you can actually avoid all of them as most of the newbies are prone to commit mistakes because it’s the only way where they can learn and improve from their own mistakes. But I believe with a lot of years they keep on trading, they will eventually learn to avoid these common traders pitfalls because they also start to grow along with their experiences.
1674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a Quality Post? on: November 13, 2022, 09:45:05 PM
Post that answers a question:
It starts with this how to determine a quality post.  No matter how it's lengthy it is as long as it answered questions.
But usually here that has a signature campaign that follows the required length of the post.

That's good input and nothing else to add but one thing that I suggest is that surely you'll have a quality post.  Never interact with a topic that you don't know because it creates a nonsense reply or it's off-topic.
A quality post always gives benefits to others because they gained valid ideas and information from it. If it’s not seen as a valuable one, then definitely its not a quality post. And yes, one sure thing that you can create a quality post, always chose a topic that will be of your interest because you can actually make an answer that comes from your own experience which makes it more valid and reliable from the eyes of other people.
1675  Economy / Economics / Re: Consumers to Spend More on Black Friday Despite Economic Downturn on: November 13, 2022, 09:31:26 PM
There is no explanation for the high demand for buying during Black Friday other than that the prices are very low. This has nothing to do with the economic situation of the country in general, but rather with individuals who seize the opportunity of Black Friday. In the end, not all people accept the purchase, whether on the occasion or without it.
Personally, I don't recall having acquired things on this occasion or perhaps because I am not a demanding person by nature.
This is more of an individual’s preference whether to avail the low and bargain prices or just ignore the sale happening. While some prefer not to make a purchase because they believe this will only break their budget, others have intentionally saved for this and when this time has finally come, they are all ready to buy and grab the chance while they can maximize their purchase even at a minimal budget.
1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Early Is It Now, For Those Who Missed Bitcoin In Its Early Days? on: November 13, 2022, 09:10:29 PM
It is always easy to look at the past and say 'IF'

- If I have known about Bitcoin in earlier years like 2009 or 2013, I would have invested in Bitcoin.
People said the same IFs in 2013, 2017 and 2020. Now when they are given a great chance to actually invest in Bitcoin at cheap price, they are still saying if about earlier years. But they unfortunately reject to take the chance in this year.

Later, in future, in 2024 or 2028, other people will say the same Ifs
- If I have known about Bitcoin in earlier years like 2022, I would have invested in Bitcoin.
Nothing changes actually, people just keep ignoring opportunities and regret later. Now, bitcoin gives another opportunity again to buy at a very good price, but still people will always wait for another price recovery before they’ll decide to buy. And when the price recovers, people will wait again for a higher price for bitcoin before they finally invest. Bitcoin is no longer in its early years, but people fail to see it and still rejecting every chance to invest in bitcoin. The reason while many of the bitcoin investors have succeeded, there are also a lot of people regretting hoping they bought bitcoin in its early years.
1677  Economy / Economics / Re: Can our work be turned into a full-time investment? on: November 12, 2022, 09:59:24 PM
Under the current situation, many companies are facing bankruptcy or layoffs at any time, and we do not know what we will face tomorrow.
Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency? If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
Do you have better advice for work?
It’s good to relax your mind first before you set yourself to find another job. However, if you’re the only one who will put food on the table and provide the needs of your family, then for sure you will not find yourself relaxing as it’s better to grab any opportunity that might provide an income just to continue providing the needs of your family. And maybe start investing only when you find a stable job that helps you earn extra money.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 12, 2022, 09:45:19 PM

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?

You cannot stop seeing those ads and you cannot stop from being on the internet and not seeing those ads you have no control over that, what you have to control is your urge and your reaction, if the only way to get out of addiction is to be away in the internet then it's your choice when quitting on something it is always on choice and control, if you don't have these two then you're not really that serious and it will only take a three-second ad to get you on your favorite casino.
Being away in the internet these days is just too hard to imagine because internet is already a big part in our lives, but if it’s the only way to heal your gambling addiction, then do it. And maybe delete all your gambling apps in your phone too so that you will not be tempted anymore. If you do it with strong determination with some family support, I think you will succeed from leaving gambling for good.
1679  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is the bottom of this bear market BTC on: November 12, 2022, 08:58:56 PM
Looks like majority voted over 15000 for this poll but I don't think so. People always underestimate how bears can work in crypto markets and how strong they can get. In Current psychology, market players see Bitcoin price somewhere between 15k-25k. Although it can be easily changed if there was huge dump, triggering under 15k orders. This is unlikely to happen now - but we can't say it will never happen.
With the present price of bitcoin dumped into $16k today, I think it will never stay $15k above in the next possible days. Bitcoin has higher chances to drop more if another issue will affect bitcoin again and as long the bear market stays, we should be more open for a lot of possibilities that bitcoin price will stay in the range of $12k-$15k in this bear season.
1680  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 12, 2022, 08:38:57 PM

How long do you think it will take for paper money to be phased out for good? Will CBDCs be able to replace not only paper money but also credit/debit cards? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
No matter how far we would progress out but still paper fiat would really be still on existence and as long government exist then they wont really be letting these things to happen along the way.
We cant really deny the fact that fiat do really plays out a major role.It might be having its cons but lets just not set aside when it comes to its pros and benefits.
Paper money could be printed out but of course it would really be on a constraint or controlled manner which we know that inflation could really be an inevitable thing.
No matter how CBDC's would be that rampant in near future but still its hard to believe that fiat would really wiped out from existence.
And if ever it could really be phased out by chance, then it will take another long years before paper money will completely vanish and everything will be dependent on digital currency. But I believe as long as the government and central bank both exist, paper money will always serve as the main currency, and CBDCs will definitely be an option from the existing paper money.
