I have no idea how to win this one.
Our only moves are Qc7, Kg2 and h4?

34.Qc7 loses a piece to Qd1+ 35.Kh2 Qxb3 36.Qxe7 Rxd2
Every move loses for us in this position. I will vote for 34.h4 but resignation is also an option.

I was thinking of Qc7, but looking at that analysis, I admit I didn't think it through.

White resigns: 3 votes (Morecoin Freeman, Foxpup, jjacob)
h4: 1 vote (boolberry)

OP, was there a turning point in this match?
I would say 14. a5 was a pretty weak move.
1682  Bitcoin / Electrum / Exchange Rate Plugin on: October 24, 2015, 03:49:29 AM
The Bitcoin exchange rate plugin seems to have gone crazy today.
When I opened electrum, the exchange rate shown was 1 BTC = 800+ USD.
It has been hovering at 1 BTC = 350 USD since then, although the current price is in the $270s.
Does anybody else have this problem?
1683  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BTC is money on: October 23, 2015, 01:28:13 PM
It's a natural result. It states clearly in swedish law that capital goods are exempt from value added tax

Value added tax is very different from capital gain tax, it is impossible to apply value added tax to any kind of financial transactions due to that most of the financial transactions are making just a couple of percent profit/loss at maximum

The purpose of VAT is to tax the end consumer who benefited from the consumption of products/services, while not touch the manufacturer and retailer. But for financial products there is no end consumer, because financial products will never be consumed, they just change hands again and again

Hmm...  I am not sure if VAT is only to tax the end-consumer. In typical manufacturing of a product, suppliers at each stage pay a small incremental tax on the "value added". If a house is built, VAT is paid on each stage of the supply chain.

Good to hear that. The EU seems to have taken the right decision.
The question is why would Swedish tax authorities want to impose VAT on it?

I vote for Nb3, although I don't think we can protect the bishop any longer.

No fun in just reading names of countries.
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your bitcoins ? on: October 21, 2015, 01:00:34 PM
I personally store most of my bitcoins in two wallets, one is on coins.ph wallet which is a web based wallet - I store some of my bitcoins there for spending and cashing out purposes; and the other one is on mycelium for holding purposes. I also use blockchain.info wallet but only for gambling purposes. I also want to have a hardware wallet (which I heard the safest one to store your BTC) but I don't know where can I buy it in our country Grin

I would love to have a hardware wallet too.
Apart from difficulty in buying it, the cost plays a role in deterring me from buying one.

Why are you hiding your identity from us??

Anyway, I vote for Nb3.

Nb3 isn't a valid move.

31. Nxa1.

30. Nb3, giving up the exchange to prevent 30... Nd4 31... Nf3+.

Nb3 looks good, supporting the bishop as well

Nb3:  2 votes (foxpopup, jjacob)

Declined. You hadn't placed the prerequisite bet before applying (by almost an hour; I can forgive a few minutes, but this is no good)

I would blame the slow confirmation time. You can check the transaction initiation time (on the blockchain).  Cry
Next time, I should hike the transaction fees.

It is money, and there are a lot of places to spend it (especially on the internet).
You can also use it to gamble.  Smiley

My head is spinning with the chess problem; my line of thought was similar to obscurebean's.

I will vote for Nc1 as well

Money!
I guess I can get the other two, if I have enough money.  Smiley
