1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bet From Other Unknown Bettors, Is This a Good Practice? on: November 11, 2022, 10:27:06 PM
It's still better if you know the game first. Not a good practice if you are doing it blindly.
It will still pop out in your bet slip and will have time to review it, that means you know what you pick and who are the possible winners of the game.
It's not different with picking it on your own. It just gets the job faster rather than choosing yourself.
Now, there are instances where gamblers do follow people and their bets, in this example if I am right, it is Drake who is mostly sharing his bets to the public and in social media.
Certainly not a good practice because you can never get lucky all all the time from copying bets regardless if you know or not the bettor. You also need to have your own pick based on your good analysis. Although there’s always no assurance in gambling and losing will always be inevitable, but you can always lessen the risk of losing if you bet from your own research and analysis like we always did in sportsbetting.
1682  Economy / Economics / Re: Always ask bargain for prices never pay full specially now on: November 11, 2022, 10:04:45 PM
Now it's time to ask prices to go Lower.
Times like this i go shop or anywhere i always say' it's economic down turn can i get cheaper price.
I allready called to my landlord to make my rent much cheaper.
It's times of economic bad times so now you can ask cheaper prices of anything always.

For big time merchants, you can always ask them for lower prices, but never expect that they will grant your request all the time. Business is a business, regardless if the economy is growing or dropping. However, for small business owners, I think it’s never right to ask for a lower option of price, just be reasonable enough. For I know if you were in their shoes, you will never agree on asking for a cheaper price either.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 11, 2022, 09:46:17 PM
Menh it is no easy to be a gambler. Well that the life
"NO RISK NO GAIN"

recently I placed a bet on different soccer games and I  staked it with about $70 on accumulated odd of 10.36 which came out a total of $725.

After placing my bet I later check back on the games in my account to monitor the success of my predictions and I opened the betslip and I  was given a  cash out of about $389 and the matches remaining was just one game  so I decided not to take the it...i decided to be a  brave gambler and wait for the last game to be concluded and then collect the full money

But the last  game didn't turn out the way I wanted it and I lost that $389

I have faced similar situation before and most times I often collect the cash that comes as a  cash out then the result of the Last match turns out correct and instead of having the whole money I miss out and get a  little chunk of it..

So what would you would advise as a gambler? is it better to collect the cash out or wait for the full cash
You can still do a lot with that good amount of profits so prefer to cashout it immediately before you lose it again because you were too greed for bigger profits. And always think that there’s no assurance in gambling, if you think you can easily increase your winnings because you felt you are very lucky that day, then never get tempted to do that. It’s a proven scenario, once you win a great amount, then start withrawing your funds, otherwise you will head home with an empty pocket.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 11, 2022, 09:25:09 PM
Some gamblers keep their gambling activities secrete from people they have close relationship with. Having it in mind that if these people know they are gamblers,it might bring down their reputation or make them look wasteful. I hide my gambling activities from my Mom the reason is that she hates gamblers and calls them irresponsible people from her own perspective.

Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.

Definitely my children since I don’t want them to get into gambling and think that it will create them a bright future. Although I know they may still get into gambling when they reach a mature age but as much as possible, I don’t want myself to be the first to influence them on that. It’s not that I will make this a secret forever,  but I know one day I will tell them that I am a gambler when their minds are mature enough to understand.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: November 10, 2022, 09:52:46 PM
It is gambling, it can happen real life, but the chance that it would happen is very slim. But we should always advice that betting big comes with big risks.
Highly unlikely that this can happen in real life, no one are allowed to move their bets when it has already been placed whether it's the bettor or his friend. The bet can happen if that how rich you are and you just casually bet $10,000 on a single number however in this case, he is not. Also, no one can bet anymore once the wheel is already spinning not when it's about to stop.

If this scenario happens on real life, his friend will be kicked out from the casino or probably the whole bet he made will be forfeited.

2. This cannot happen because afaik nobody is allowed to touch your chips, even if that one is with you/your friend. An I wrong?
You're absolutely correct.

There are always rules in certain casinos and if you are going against the rules, not only you will be kicked out but probably banned in that casino. But this scenario is impossible to happen in real life since we know once you put that chip, other people are not allowed to moved it. So this is very unlikely to happen in gambling casinos, players are more professional than we expected them to be.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 10, 2022, 09:33:55 PM
We can quit after playing a few times but not many can do that because if they lose, they will be more eager to recover from that defeat than choose to quit.
Those emotions will only get bigger if we don't stop immediately and we often feel angry and wonder why we lost.
I try to suppress any feelings that come to me while I am gambling because it can affect my self-control and in the end, I will be tempted to continue playing.
It won't help me to avoid bigger losses and will give me a lot of losses after playing a few rounds.
Of course, gambling is still a choice, so if it’s not making us profitable and fun anymore, then it’s better to quit from gambling while our losses are not that huge and while we are not yet completely broken in gambling. But I always believe quitting from gambling is not that easy especially if you are giving yourself more time to gamble and you lived on it already. So don’t do it suddenly, just control and minimize your time in gambling so that if you decide to quit, it will never be that hard. Negative emotions can always be controlled and stopped, as long as we also want it too.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Man Won $51,000 in Sports Betting With a Bet of Just $1.072 on: November 07, 2022, 06:59:50 PM
Yeah, it's a huge win.

And I do agree that if you win big, you just need to shut up and don't tell anyone, I have read a lot of news of people winning lottery and telling the whole neighbourhood that the next day people are lining up to his house to ask for help and monetary assistance. i mean it's not that bad to help others but what if you can't help them all? And then there are relatives that you suddenly shows up to your door as well for money. And again, you can't please everyone, at certain point there will be people that are going to be envious of you.
Even if you can help them all, but never expect that you have pleased them all. There are always people who feel bitter on someone’s success, that is why it’s better to keep your winnings on your own so that the people around you will not abuse you either. And most likely, once you have won a huge amount, the company should never disclose your personal identity, that is for your own safety from all the scammers around.
1688  Economy / Gambling / Re: A HUGE Scam is going on with bitsler! on: November 07, 2022, 06:37:34 PM
So you blame a website for your addiction? You lost money is what this boils down to, and now you are looking for a way to try and get it back. The casino isn't going to refund you because you're a bad loser. If you legitimately have a problem, seek professional helo and stop blaming others for your faults.
Gambling addiction will never push you to make things right, instead it will make you worst, and I think this is not all about the casino but definitely its your own fault. If you are always breaking the rules in a casino, expect that you will always face a problem too when it comes to your finances. I suggest stop gambling when you think you are always in trouble, seek professional help first so you will know you are hitting beyond your limits.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: November 07, 2022, 08:23:59 AM
Random KYC and long withdrawal times are the most disgusting stuff I can imagine.

Some casinos do KYC especially when a player wins. They don't care as long as you are losing but when you win, boom, a wild KYC appears. If you don't want to share your passport with a bunch of stragers then, boom, you are out of luck, the casino can freely seize your money and you can't do shit because it is in their T.O.S. and you should have read it before you decided to play there.
Casinos really make it a big deal when they have to refund such a big amount so they make sure to require KYC for fast withdrawal. And left us with no choice but to comply and give our personal identity details rather than losing the money just because we don’t want to submit KYC requirement. But when it comes to big deposits, they don’t care about KYC simply because that’s already a sure profit for them.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 07, 2022, 07:31:16 AM
It is already given, the lower the deposit requirement, the more people are able to play or test their casino platform.  Casino need to adjust in this area so that they can cater more players specifically the minnows.  Same apply with withdrawal, With lower withdrawal minnows who wanted to pocket their winnings will be satisfied because they are able to withdraw in as little amount as possible.
Since everything is business in gambling, then most of the gambling casinos prefer low minimum deposit as well as its withrawal so they can attract and cater a lot of customers from different social class which simply means, more players, more profits to enter in the house. And since most of the gamblers are regular gamblers, then they can play as much as they can even with a small budget.
1691  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best thing to do if this happens on: November 07, 2022, 06:08:23 AM
I don't seem to have seen anyone who complained here on cryptocurrency gambling platforms have their issue resolved. Most of the time I read in the complaints that they were not given the justice they wanted for what was done to them.
I guess you didn't check thoroughly then since many gambler complaints related to crypto gambling platforms were resolved after a certain amount of time in this forum.

Most of those resolved complaints were 100% legit and pertained to popular crypto gambling sites. The ones that don't get resolved are usually linked to scamming gamblers or scamming sites(1xbit).
Probably, most of the unresolved complaints are those coming from suspicious gamblers, which later on discovered as big time scammers. However, most of the mid to high rated casinos have quickly resolved the legal complaints thrown at them, otherwise they will ruin their own credibility which they happen to build for the longest time. If there are still unresolved cases, maybe these high rated sites have their own reasons for that.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: recommendation for gambling platform on: November 06, 2022, 09:59:37 PM
This question is often asked on this forum, one similar thread like that was created yesterday.

What casinos are safe

Read what people are posting on the thread and you will find the best answers to your question.
Keep doing DYOR so you will know the best casinos in the market. Though some reviews are not that reliable, but the best way to recognize which one would fit for you is to experience the casino on your own. Since we have our own preference in gambling, then it’s always certain that the best casino for others may not be the best for you, so you have to experience it by yourself.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 06, 2022, 09:45:11 PM
Sorry to say kyc is one thing important in gambling site to avoid money laundering and any mal activities which might likely happened. So as a gambler you should be prepare for revealing your personal identity or going through verifications processes.
I don't really see any laws holding you not to pass the verification process or maybe you are not wanting to gamble, most gambling site I have came across with always source for kyc details.
KYC verification is not new to us since most of the established and reputable casinos are already doing that. Except in gray areas, you don’t have to pass KYC but if you also win a huge amount, there will always be problems and delays for sure. The reason why we have to settle for KYC exchange, aside from we can gain more security from our possessions, we can also expect for fast and safe withrawal. Being anonymous is good, but if it’s the only reason why you can’t play your favorite game in a good and established casino, then it will still be useless in the end.
1694  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 09:30:55 PM
About #1, many casinos have touted this but in the end, it's ultimately to protect the casino's interests.

Are you sure you guys aren't gonna process KYC in case some withdraws or deposits are suspicious?
No KYC requirement I think might not work for a new casino like in some instances where a gambler makes suspicious deposit or withrawal. Most likely, if you stick to that, your casino might not last longer as the house will be taken advantage by some wise gamblers. I suggest do not go for a KYC free the whole time, that’s fine with small bettings and small winnings, but for high rollers that are also capable for big winnings, you can always require for KYC like established casinos do.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 06, 2022, 08:52:56 PM
I don't think so, because firstly I have never even told about my activities regarding gambling, secondly so far I have never won a big prize or can be considered a big one that can amaze the value obtained, and honestly don't want anyone to gamble because of my post, they prefer to gamble on their own conscience so that when something they never thought happened, no one would be blamed.
To be honest, I have never won such a big and tempting amount, and if ever it happens, I will not tell anyone too except my own family. However, I may be the one being lured to play the same game with my friend but I ended losing the game instead. Maybe the luck and timing is still not for me and for that’s fine as I never spend in gambling too much amount, only an extra amount from my salary.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 05, 2022, 10:18:57 PM
Sportsbetting is the best, if you are good. Pretty bad if you're bad.

Regular gambling would be next but varies hugely on which game you play. Best to play low house edge provably fair games.

Lottery is by far the worst, unless there's a huge jackpot, which very seldom ever happen, if ever.
Definitely, if you’re a sports lover, sportsbetting will be of highest odd. Like when you already know the next move of the players, that is a great advantage if you know the game well. Unlike online gambling and lottery, you will only be profitable if you happen to be so much lucky and with great timing that day, otherwise you will certainly end up losing as most of the gamblers destined to. So never expect too much from them, unless you’ll hit the jackpot prize all of a sudden and made you instant millionaire.
1697  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Unnecessary Pressure For Merits on: November 05, 2022, 09:59:17 PM
Always try to give solutions to problems, when people present a topic seeking for solution, as this also fascinates meriting a post.
Even without merits people should actually do these things. The only difference is that merits become an important parameter for signature campaign which users tend to farm or pressure themselve just to be able to do campaign that incentivized posting thru btc payment. I hope all doing their needed to do here without merits.
With or without merits, we should always stick to our goal and to the forum’s goal, and that is to create good contribution in the forum which will make the forum more alive and will always be a source of valid ideas and information that will bring a lot of benefits to all forum members. Otherwise, if we only care about the merits, then we might fail in the real purpose of the forum itself.
1698  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: November 05, 2022, 09:45:13 PM
We have been staying at very low levels for a long time, so the best guess we can say is that the worst has happened and that the next will be much better, or at least we will see more corrections in the near term.
The market has reached a state of equilibrium where everyone is satisfied with a price in the range of 18k to 23k, and therefore, in the normal situation, it is difficult to break these levels.
There will always be a time for bullish after we experienced the bearish days, and I think that’s going to happen sooner. Bitcoin may have stayed bearish for the longest time, and i even think the worst may still going to happen until the bearish season stays so let’s prepare for that. But we know in the end, bitcoin will always settle for an impressive price, the thing that history always proves it and if history repeats, then we will all be profitable with bitcoin again in the future.
1699  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 05, 2022, 09:28:50 PM
It depends on the person's personality. A commission-based job is profitable, but you need a quick responsive attitude for that. Introverted people will not be interested in this type of job because it requires a lot of communication. Also, a salary base job gives security to a person. You do not have to be tense about your monthly income even if you can not do any work for a few weeks.
If you chose commissioned based job, it requires more socialization because you have to build a connection between you and your client in order for you to create a successful deal, otherwise you’ll be left behind and won’t make a profit if you can’t make it. So it takes more flexible personality so you can cope up with your job. However, with a salary based job, as long as you do your job right, you will always be compensated with that. So there is more security here even if your performance level has decreased.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 05, 2022, 09:10:12 PM
What is your opinion ?
What correct decision should Satoshi make again when he had made the correct decision in the past? People that make bitcoin to still be existing can conclude that they are all Satoshi which is something very great.

Satoshi not disclose his identity has been what bitcoin community so much appreciate.
Satoshi has its own purpose and I believe that’s what the bitcoin community needed for now, not to reveal Satoshi’s identity which brings even more good to bitcoin. And I guess if he also decides to disclose his identity all of a sudden, probably it will not also make a difference. Bitcoin will always be bitcoin, so no need to change what has happened in the past.
