I have bought 50k FUN tokens a few months ago and locked them for 1 year with 25% APY. Each FUN token price was around 36 satoshi when I bought it. But now the FUN token value is 19 satoshi. The reward of the WOF spins won't be enough to recover the amount which I have lost for FUN/BTC pair drop until now. I think that the FUN/BTC pair will decrease more in the upcoming months.
If you think it's an useful and cool token with good fundamentals, and you thought 36 sats were a good price, surely you are buying them with nearly 50% discount to recover more easily.
Because since they are locked, only thing you could do is DCA more of them until price recovers, unless that decrease you are predicting is going to be radical and you think it won't.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 20, 2023, 10:39:00 PM
Some say airdrops retroactive arent profitable. Maybe for some its a waste of time but for others thats plenty of money already and could been helpful to their financial status in life. Im giving of my airdrops receive so far and hoping to gain with other protocols too.  Can you share yours?

*Arbitrum 1500 tokens (free)
*Sui Network 1500 tokens ($45 for joining allowlist at $0.03 per tokens)

I'll update the thread for the next drops that I would receive from doing testnet and retroactive tasks.
Were there even more real airdrops yet? Those were most famous ones and i totally missed out on both of them. But i can't win every time and i was lucky with IMX and GODS airdrops back in day. With those i didn't get any heads up. I just managed to get them by being early at the right place. It would be fun to know about any hot ones and how to get them. I mean i tried to get ARB but i guess i didn't do enough to be eligible.

First of all thank you so much for shearing with us this types of good opportunities because GPT project i hope creating hype very soon and your suggesting project very smart and good one GPT projects we are very excited about that opportunities.
This project has zero to do with Generative Pre-trained Transformer. It's just a generic BEP-20 scam token, and it doesn't even have fair distribution but some lame IDO without homepage or a whitepaper. If you are for real, stay away.

Even though i am sensing that this is your second account trying to hype your own nonsensical scams.

First get rid of the Clowns that scream Scam.
Make Certik Audit and then List on CEX
Please don't list this scam anywhere.
1744  Economy / Economics / Re: When will we stop living for the weekend? Escaping the 9-5 life. on: May 20, 2023, 10:23:38 PM
You can take some consolation on the fact that most likely people won't need to work as much in the future. Automation took huge amount of jobs that some of those were replaced by other jobs, but that created employment problems. Next one is the fact that AI is going to take HUGE amount of 9-5 jobs. Combine that with robotics and soon there will be nothing left but onlyfans for us. This might sound cynical but it most likely get people on barricades wanting universal basic income. As rules of work have totally changed, i can see it happening. Even in US where that's basically considered as communism. But when you don't have jobs, what else is there?
1745  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Supercycle? on: May 20, 2023, 02:42:36 PM
Is it possible to have a bull run for the next couple of years? I mean more people and companies start using bitcoin often and knowing there's a limited supply of it, the demand for the crypto will go up eventually. Do you think it's possible considering inflation and our global economy today? I know its a very volatile asset but what do you think?
Everything is possible, but number of users and use cases doesn't need to correlate with the price growth. All it needs it's right people speaking for it and the hype they bring. After every bear run we hear that bitcoin is dying and holders are basically laughed at. So it isn't sexy for a while to talk for bitcoin, until it starts rising over ath again, and just that will push the nonbelievers in brink of fomoing in. Markets often respond rumors more then fundamentals, and psychology is more important than tech if you are only looking at bull/bear cycles.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feedback on Portfolio on: May 20, 2023, 09:40:07 AM
I was wondering how people go about getting feedback on their portfolios? Do you just have discussion with friends/ colleagues?
There are few closest friends i have talked with, but after first real pump i started to say i lost it all to anyone who is not close, which at the moment is 100% correct.

You don't want target on your back when cryptos moons year later you have told to them you owned ton of it. Also i know it's not always a good idea to share with even closest friends. Remember that you can have huge fights even with your best friends, so they might use what they have just to get back at you. I know this is a cynical world view but how many divorces have ended happily as friends.

If you own enough and have paid your taxes and can afford a body guard, go ahead and be even a public crypto celebrity if you want. I don't get the appeal as i would pay for privacy and anonymity.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin - PEPE on: May 19, 2023, 10:58:57 PM
We need to educate people on what memecoins are and why they should stay away from it. Too many people are still investing into memecoins like they are a good thing and they are ending up with horrible results because of that.

It's just a purely hyped projects that make up of just the "ape together stronk" type of mindset people, they did made some good moves and made some money for some people but that's about it, there is absolutely nothing that makes sense for people to keep doing it at all, I personally believe that was never a good idea to follow. I understand some people will make as much money as they possibly can from this and get out, but there will be a lot of people who will fail and keep on holding and will end up with nothing in the end.
That doesn't really help, people buy the fomo. It doesn't really matter if it's a meme coin or latest trend. I've seen coins with actual cool new utility to die because their devs move to other projects. So every freaking altcoin has their risks. Maybe eth is exception but i am not sure if it can just keep rising. Maybe with deflationary tokenimics, who knows.

Also i have made money with purely hype coins. But everyone knows that you need to be at the right time at the right place. Some people made tons of money with doge and inu, some people lost their money. But without others losing their money, some people wouldn't make their money. It's really a zero sum game and i can't really see any difference to utility coins when it comes to gains.
1748  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: May 19, 2023, 08:39:59 PM

I think this is the very first time I am coming across someone advising against using Google authenticator , why exactly is good authenticator not good, I personally have been using it for as far as I can remember, maybe since 3 or 4 years ago, I've never encountered any issue of any kind, so I am very curious to know exactly why you are advising against using google authenticator, and what other better authenticators do you recommend.?.
Well, it's not that I advise against it, it's just that there are others that are better, and yes, of course, it can be, in terms of security, things can progress a lot and we haven't realized it , personally I've always used 2FA, but let's remember the hack that was done to Binance, where all the 2FA were violated and that's how they managed to do the big robbery , it's interesting to know that there are always good options to learn and apply as security.
I want to chime in here. How can i avoid google 2fa when every site uses exclusively that?

There are some phone based options but those are not safe at all. And i never ever heard any google 2fA hacks on Binance, only 2FA sim swaps which have nothing to fo with google 2fa. But if you have more information i would like to hear about this.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💥😮Ripple Launches CBDC Platform For Banks, Governments🏦 on: May 19, 2023, 08:31:44 PM
Anyone can launch their own platform and issue anything and hope governments and banks will adopt it. It doesn't mean it's going to be practical or god forbid adopted by anyone. And knowing Ripple this is not going well. It's a buzz word salad with headlines that might move the price, that's all. I don't see anyone adopting Ripple's solution ever. I wish i could bet on governments not adopting Ripple's CBDC platform for 2 years. (They are never going to adopt it but i am not waiting more time for a bet)
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things that still make feel awkward with some online casinos on: May 19, 2023, 07:51:22 PM
Why are some online gambling platforms having high withdrawal fee? I know Bitcoin recently has a high transaction fee but that's no more right now, some online casinos are still asking for 5$ per transaction when it should be 1$ or less.

Not just only Bitcoin withdrawal, even coins with very low transaction fee, isn't this robbery? If you just signed up on a centralized exchange, you can pretend as if you want to withdraw, to know how much the gas fee costs, but on online casino, you will see this only after you have enough wins or funds for withdrawal.
In short, they are charging you more because you are using them. But when mempool is full, it's just practical to put more money for fees so you'll get them faster. This used to be a problem mainly with exchange withdraw fees. And still is going to be depending on the mempool.

But there are casinos that charge basically nothing compared to your experience so feel free to shop around. Stake gets my vote with 7k sats btc fee.

Welcome to bitcointalk!
I thought this was a new casino, but with 132 000 registered members, this isn't the case. Anyone here already member of this casino? Any thoughts/reviews?

Couple of questions that pop into my mind:
- What is your house edge?
- What is the minimum amount to withdraw ?
- Do you have a license?

I repeat the question from the first page do you have a license? if yes can we have the number and know where it was registered?
You mean curacao licence that they have link to on their front page? House edge differs between the different games. You can just visit their site and look at their house games.

I don't remember the exact minimum withdraw amount but it was quite small and enough for my purposes.
1752  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTCCasino.com (Suspicious payout) on: May 19, 2023, 06:27:51 PM
i recently joined this casino but i suddenly noticed that its payout seems to be near 0%

is this a loyal place to play or is it a "deposit only" casino?

i know they OPERATE WITHOUT A REGULAR LICENCE right?

What do you think

Good thing about ltccasino is that they have an announcement thread in here. Bad thing is that because it has an announcement thread of it everyone can see it's a shady operation. Stick to the ones that don't have negative trust in here and avoid the casinos that don't have an announcement thread in here and you'll be safe.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Casper (CSPR) worth an investment? on: May 19, 2023, 06:15:13 PM
I have recently come across Casper after looking at XRP and HBAR and wonder if this is a popular investment amongst us on this forum?

Have been researching and many say Casper could reach $1 next bull run which would give us a 21x from current price of $0.047.

A $1 price would give Casper a $11b market cap which isn't that much compared to how high others will go next bull run.

Any thoughts?

What does casper have in their roadmap to justify such a growth? Also are you considering listening casper bag holders as research? I mean you didn't explain the research part, only that random people said that it can do 21x. I can say that eth will do 10000x from here but reading that isn't research or would make it true.

XRP and HBAR has their own fans in here too but i am not part of them. And i wouldn't call them any more popular then their marketcap tells us.
1754  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 19, 2023, 06:02:00 PM
Do you understand what kind of workload it would be to KYC everyone who wants to try the casino, they KYC if they suspect something or if you are high stake player. To me it sounds like you haven't read their ToS. Have you got proof of "them" promoting VPN usage?

What i am getting from your message is that you managed to fool them and when you got caught you think you have legal grounds for your account? Just because they didn't immediately notice it that you weren't being honest.

Btw your lawyer doesn't sound like a competent one. This case would be laughed out from any court. I would ask around for opinions from actual lawyers.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is "dying". on: May 19, 2023, 05:46:41 PM
You can read in the bitcoin whitepaper that the things that many people are worried about have been predicted in such a way by satoshi, so it is very important to maintain the purity of bitcoin.

And I think we are losing the purity of Bitcoin right now. It looks like the government wants to destroy everything that makes Bitcoin a Bitcoin. They want to tax it, they want everyone KYCd, they ban mixers and they create trouble for companies or people who use bitcoin.
Yeah, that has nothing to do with bitcoin, they aren't targeting bitcoin but all kind of money laundering, bitcoin and other cryptos are naturally affected by it. Bitcoin hasn't changed, the world around us has. It doesn't matter what we think about it or how we are viewing bitcoin.

You can vote for people that don't want to tax bitcoin or get anyone kyc:ed if you find those. But imho those people don't fully understand the need for these regulations. And no politician that does want to be side of money laundering. Because those regulations you want to be stripped wouldn't just affect bitcoin, it would affect everything else too.

maybe that will help new investors or whom looking for a long term trip nor profit
all of that coins i already studied their projects , circulating supply , total supply

if you compare its intial market cap , volume you will found in recent there is a good chance for at least x10 in every single coin of them
-cut-
Well, in my eyes you are that new investor as you started crypto in 2019 and haven't been part of any real bull market yet. So i am interested on what are your insights on choosing those almost 40 coins and what makes you think they all of them will be a part of next bull run? Have you read their whitepapers and how about their competition? Reason for 0x can't really be the marketcap alone. Otherwise you could pick just random low caps and say that they are rising next bull run because of it. And volume can and is being constantly faked.

At first, when you pick, they'll let you win so as to drag your attention, then subsequent wins, you'll be at the losing side and the make sure the drain your pockets entirely.

People you describe are hustlers and grifters. This is not about gambling. When someone is actively persuading to do something and misleads you, it's a scam. These people lose because they are being scammed so comparing this to gambling is very misleading. Alarm bells should be ringing in your head when you are magically having a winning streak right at the start.
1758  Economy / Economics / Re: Kraken, UK trade body derides lawmaker description of crypto as ‘gambling’ on: May 18, 2023, 10:58:17 PM
Well this is really weird. I guess exchanges no longer need to do special complex hoops for permissions for trading as they can just replace those by asking gambling permit for curacao. : Grin
That's the only reasoning i see behind this like they would want to wash their hands about this.

Obviously i know this can't be the case but i am confused about what is their end game here. What are they planning now?
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is "dying". on: May 18, 2023, 10:51:16 PM
But you can't blame people for having different idea and using bitcoin as they want. Especially when it absolutely thrives on idea of permissionless transactions that guarantees people the freedom to use it as they like.

Most bitcoin users might not have same ideology as you or view the bitcoin as satoshi originally planned bitcoin to be, but you can't control the people and bitcoin was made for people.

And since i've been in here, there has always been a huge group of people who have only interested of profits. There are probably hundreds cliché memes about bitcoin mooning, so can you blame people coming in having different values?

As long as the code doesn't change radically i don't judge what people think bitcoin is or should be or how what values they try to brand it with. It exists without our visions about it.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO on: May 18, 2023, 10:35:34 PM
FOMO - Fear of missing out.

For me, it was actually this year. I actually looked for a $pepe coin around January, because of my love for Pepe Lore memes and couldn’t find anything. Now I missed out on a meme coin of a lifetime.
The fact that you didn't buy it at all would be better then buying it on the top because of the FOMO. But there will be other coins flying high and you will most likely give in to your fomo and buy them near ATH if you are not careful. Don't buy anything in panic or because something has risen a lot. Markets tend to correct and there still are pump and dumps. When you have FOMO, act against it. In fact you might be better off shorting because buying with FOMO most likely get you rekt.
