It would be best to set up a government system to handle these issues, you can't really enforce anything otherwise. Scammers don't care about reputation, they fake everything anyway. You need a government oversight body, and some international agreements to make sure other countries follow suit. Bitcoin will thrive once this is accomplished.
Even better to set up a new independent sovereign nation to rule all of bitcoin and take over the world. Muhahaha!!! Bitrustica - The new virtual democratic country that governs bitcoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54662.msg650894#msg650894

Hey all, BitInstant's Charlie Shrem (Yankee) will be on live television today at 4:30pm EST. Channel here: http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/NewsChannel/20111128/national-affairs-111128/I think the MintChip guy, David Birch, will also be on at the same time, so there might be a duel!!! Perhaps they'll let me stand off-stage feeding info into Charlie's ear if needed. If you're in Canada, please call the network after the show and tell them how awesome the episode was and that they need more Bitcoin discussions. We'll try to post a web video version when we can. shoot 40mins to late looking forward to seeing this on youtube

If you want copper, just buy nickels.. They are 75% copper and worth more then a nickel (melt value).. The only real money left in the US.. The nickel.. They are a bit heavy thu at 22lbs per $100 I dont want copper, i prefer the bras bitcoins from casascius. I just want to point out the guy that says Bitcoin is a scam, is the same guy that made this UgetGold.com scamthe irony

man, breaking through $6 is gonna be a while i coming if that order holds.
There's a lot more resistance at $6 than what you see on the order book. My guess is things are going to cool off for a few weeks (maybe even months), and the price will drift down. right, the order to 6$ is about 15,000 BTC high, that's less then 1 days volume in a week we'll see where we really stand. my guess sub 6$ will not hold for long. A day's orders includes buys into the asks and sells into the bids, so it isn't as if if a days volume is greater than 15,000BTC then the price will push past $6. Also, my point is that we see 15,000BTCs on the order book, but there are likely (and apparently, from observing the past day or so) lots of people with plenty of bitcoin on hand to sell in the current price range and into any standing bids people put up. I think sub $6 is going to hold for longer than people think. The price might poke through a time or to, as it did coming up to $5 (for the 3rd time), but it's not likely to last. Not only do I think the odds are good this does happen, I hope it does. I hope we sit around here for months, the rest of the year even. Yes i understand that 15,000 BTC vol. dosnt mean we jump to 6 . most buying and selling happens on the front lines which are constantly being sold, bought, and replaced. We can't use the walls to know how many bitcoins are on the sell side or buy side. How many times will the sell orders of 5.9 be bought and replaced? no one knows BUT! say someone start DUMPING coins on a massive scale, we reach 0.50cents and the rebound starts, I would say anything under 4$ is gold! and we are likely to rebound higher then the start price of the sell off. Because bitcoin is a pyramid, but it is a fair pyramid because the guy at the top is a tyrant, and right below him theirs 10 guys looking to take his place no matter what the cost HA but that in your pipe and smoke it, lol

Positions will be liquidated around 5 +/- 0.1 depending on the exact math (a close price that's a suitable middle ground between longs and shorts).
Well, that does it. None of us will be getting our money for 5-10 years, since lawyers will get involved for sure now. They dont know who has what.... But they know enoght to liquidate you based on "exact math" whats going on here?

How do you spend your bitcoins? You don't. lol. Right, but i like to spend using bitcoin when i can. paypal takes 3-5days to transfer money, spend bitcoin dose it in a few hours... but more importantly, it helps support bitcoin. I think its important we all do a little spending with bitcoin form time to time.
