Anybody else enjoys tons of butter on their toasts Each slice of butter adds another mm to your butt. Is it worth it?

The article effectively says Bitcoin to benefit from increased reach of the internet. So?

Lol if you think banks are really "afraid" of Bitcoin. Do you know how easily they could spam the network for months on end? It costs them nothing.
the simply thing that they are interested in the blockchain technology without wanting bitcoin, mean that they are a little afraid about it, and they want to take the advantage of the benefit that this tech can provide, in the case bitcoin will be a good contender for them Even if they aren't open about Bitcoin everyone is holding some. Even if they say "we are not interested in Bitcoin, we just want the blockchain" sort of thing, they are secretly holding lots of BTC, because at the end of the day the guys in the banking world aren't idiots, that's why they are rich. Banks have very high disclosure levels / regulatory norms. So it is just not possible for them to go and buy bitcoins ( even if they do believe its price could become 100x).

I have used it only for speculation, which seems to be the answer of the majority.

Hmm. Nice idea you have there. I would like to join if there is option not to use LinkedIn. As what foodstamps stated, most Bitcoiners would prefer using a pseudonym on the internet. This is one of reason why Satoshi Nakamoto (an online pseudonym) create Bitcoin.
If you really want to do a full time job in the Bitcoin space, I see no reason why you shouldn't used linkedin. @OP - I suggest you mention linkedin in the OP subject. That should help summarize your post.

I've been saying the last 6 months. Anybody not accumulating as much as possible while the price is under 300 is going to regret it.
Be honest... You didn't expect to keep saying this for 6 months, did you? Nobody expected this bear market to last so long.

It was of course becoming high time! It is still going to be a long time before he is tried, found guilty and convicted. There could be a lot of twists in this case.

We have had GMT for ages. One time which everybody could use. When coordinating a broadcast across different continents, the time specified is usually GMT.

What will be the value of one Bitcoin when the number of users (people that will want to use Bitcoin) will hit 21 millions?
At this point, if each user wanted to have 1 Bitcoin, will have to pay a certain number of $ or € or Y, whatever. I'm going with $ just because it's the most used around the world.
How many $ do you think that person, the n. 21 millionth, who wants to buy 1 BTC will have to pay to obtain it?
My wild guess is: 160000 $.
A lot more than we thing probably. Always take into account there are way less coins available than 21 million, a ton of them are lost forever, and a lot more aren't even mined yet, so if that threshold is surpassed the price goes higher. I cant honestly give you an exact number. I like the Xapo's CEO prediction: between 500.000 and 1 MM dollars. Not to forget Satoshi's coins, which I think will never be used. 21 million users is not too outrageous. It is just 2% of facebook's active users. I would say $10k will be breached when this happens.

There is something between bitcoins and pizzas. We should make pizza the official food of bitcoiners.

what you are saying is correct but sometimes live cams and live shows can be tricky, you keep on paying your bitcoins but they would keep on repeating the same videos and that you can only when you spend more time on those websites. I mean it is useless to spend bitcoins on porn.
Have you tried those website? If it is useless, then there should be no people who want to get into porn. If that website tricked you, then you can go to another website. Exactly, websites operating like this will soon go out of business. I mean you can fool people only certain amount of times and then is over. If that was truly the case, ponzi schemes would have ended a century back.

The funny part is that in less than 20 years, if MasterCard doesn't want to completely disappear forever, they'll have to somehow adapt their business and reconvert themsevels into something that runs under the Bitcoin blockchain and serves a positive reason to exist for crypto. They choose: Join us or perish.
They will join us. But the era of huge transaction fees and huge profits is coming to an end. Mastercard will have to reconcile themselves to that fact.

I'd only be willing to reward companies that take bitcoin as a payment option if they offer appropriate discounts to make it worth my while. If they aren't willing to help incentivize more people to want to pay with bitcoin by offering these discounts then they deserve their fiat or less business in my mind.
It will take some time before they see that they are saving on transaction costs and then decide to pass it on to customers. Right now, they are just offering bitcoin payment as a novelty option.
