17841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POST HERE if you came for the COINYE WEST Crypto! on: January 04, 2014, 02:25:02 PM
The site is busy as hell. Keep having to refresh pages to get them to load. This because of you guys? Lots of media attention so I figured we got a bunch of newbies in Crypto.

This is going to be the new Dogecoin, isn't it?   Roll Eyes
17842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Feathercoin ? on: January 04, 2014, 02:23:49 PM
i wouldnt invest anything in ftc. Doenst look like its about to go up, and its not really supported. Once btc-e removes it from their site it will drop alot.

I'd suggest you better look at the more active alts, but be aware of scam/pumpndump alt coins so it requires a little attention. If you want to be save then just invest in btc.

Wow, are you serious? Feathercoin is not really supported? -

edit: nvm. Just saw your profil. New member without any clue.

*FTC fanboy alert* haha.

People will always slag off altcoins here, it's nothing new.
17843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So whose your favourite economist? on: January 04, 2014, 02:22:35 PM
Max Keiser is the man!!!  Smiley

I don't know what to think of Keiser, but at least he's getting BTC's name out there.
17844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Feathercoin ? on: January 04, 2014, 02:20:42 PM
FeatherCoin is basically one of a small bunch of coins that has a strong development team and is not based on a rip.

FeatherCoin should be a great investment for 2014

I think it does have a strong community and team behind it and a lot of good features, and I think it could be a good investment given its price, but it is still essentially a Litceoin clone.
17845  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My account is a few years old. on: January 04, 2014, 02:19:16 PM
it is pretty ridiculous to have to wait so long to be able to post anything on the non newbie forums.

It's annoying for sure, but not that ridiculous. I think it helps cut down spambots and attacks etc.
17846  Economy / Lending / Re: Budding Trader Seeking 3.0 BTC Loan - Collateral Provided/Negotiable on: January 04, 2014, 02:15:56 PM
Maybe after you learned not to drop in anyone's thread and start getting mouthy. 'Mum's basement' lol. Real mature, kid. Don't think anyone else doesn't know you trying to bitch and moan and attempting to shit talk in every thread you wander into. You got nothing constructive or business minded, then keep your nose out of shit that ain't none of your business.

Don't worry. Some people know when to deal professionally connect and find profit when you don't Smiley

If anyone got 'mouthy' it was you once I pointed out your stupidity and naivety, but what I think this childish outburst actually translates to is my poor foolish ego took a bruising and it hurts Sad. Well done. You handled criticisms very maturely.

Again, I don't think you know how forums work, do you?

Good luck with your "investment", and let me know if you get a loan, but judging by your behaviour in this thread, I'd say that's probably not going to happen. I'll keep a close eye on Ron Paul Coin hitting that 10BTC a piece you think it may eventually go to.

Haha 'naivete' please. I don't plan on putting up a spin on things with the intent to gather coins. Funny how you think complete presentation and request for additional feedback means it's supposed to be 'naive'. Who's bullshitting here?

Get rid of that attitude, kid. You obviously just dropped into threads and get mouthy while trying to bullshit about what your think you know. I ain't hiding anything, and want a constructive review of offers and suggestions in regards to said offer.

Not that you know what that means, so quit the excuse making bitch fest and go mouth off at your mum or something. No one's fooled.

Suggestions and specific ideas welcome. Escrowed collateral, with confirmation required before withdrawl of deposit at the maturity date.

The only person that has attitude here is you. A very childish one at that. You turned it into a bitchfest because you threw your toys out of the pram after you got some criticism.

And what good is 19 RPC as collateral on a 3BTC loan? lol. Maybe you're not attempting to scam (which I doubt), but you will do once you lose all the money and can't repay the loan back after some stupid investments. Again, why do you need a loan if you're such a whizzkid investor? Surely you should be a millionaire by now, right?
17847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My account is a few years old. on: January 04, 2014, 02:08:09 PM
Theymos can tell me that the IPs of registering and the current one are the same for example

As for satoshi he would sign a message with his PGP key

Would Theymos give out that info to you though? And it's likely IP addresses have changed if they haven't used their account in so long.
I don't think so and yeah they likely changed but the rough location can be the same

Still, what happens in this thread is far enough to make me sure that the account is either hacked or sold and that I advise people not to deal with it
That's all I wrote in my rating
Now people are warned, it's up to them to decide whether they agree with my rating

OP were you in another Bitcoin Forum site for a while, and yes, the restrictions of a newb account are still there because you havent completed what a newbie must do to gain full membership. and jackjack, do you have to be a mean to everyone? Reply in a sensible manner buddy Smiley

I never registered in a forum, waited 3 years without posting a single message, then insulted the forum just because I have to wait 6 minutes between each post

I think I've signed up to a few, then realised how shit they was, then bogged off never to return. Maybe he did it for this, and has now seen how popular Bitcoin has became and decided to re-log on, and he is now pissed he has to wait 6 mintues Grin. I reckon you've forgot how annoying those newb restrictions are, or maybe you never had them in the first place?

I hope the UK really gets out of the EU soon. I really don't see the benefit at all.

If UKIP performs well in the 2014 elections, then there will be serious public debates about continuing the membership of England in the EU.

I don't think it even matters about UKIP that much, even the other parties have caved in to public pressure/ opinion.

I'm not sure whether it's good idea or bad leaving the EU. I need to look into it more and weigh up the pros and cons. Obviously I don't like the idea of giving power to and being governed by Europe, but I don't like the idea of our politicians either, but at least as a people we have a voice to attempt to change things, but not so much when we have to answer to the EU all the time and go by their rules.

17850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is exactly why I believe in bitcoins ! VISA & Banks are thiefs ! on: January 04, 2014, 01:40:30 PM
There is a lack of transparency because they don't remind you of the fees as you are making the transaction.
Have you withdraw cash at ATM recently, and see no warning on possible fees?

Privately owned ones like this will charge because for the convenience and they'll need to make their money back on the machines.

It is suspicious, but not conclusive.

I don't see what good buying an old newbie account would serve anyway. If it is bought; serves him right. If not, well, it is a bit unfair, but hopefully that'll become clear, but either way this guy is gonna be doubly pissed when he sees the red  Grin.
17852  Economy / Gambling / Re: LastWinsAll.com - Experimental game with simple rules on: January 04, 2014, 01:29:36 PM
guybrushthreepwood and hilariousandco, you are local trolls or what? I already wrote that after the first game everything will be clear about a scam or not.

Yeah, whether it's a scam or not will be self-evident, but why is anyone going to take that risk to see?

And the odds are always stacked against these things being a scam. Probably 99% of people who have posted in this thread will share this opinion. Whether you are legit or whether you either scam on the first go or later down the line, it doesn’t matter. There's no transparency to this at all. You can just keep making the highest bet yourself and drag it out for as long as you can.

17853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Friendly/Unfriendly Banks on: January 04, 2014, 01:17:33 PM
What exactly were you doing to get your accounts closed?

Too many cash deposits? Out of state deposits?

Can anyone suggest a U.S. bank that they have good experiences with, regarding bitcoin?
I have had good luck with a new TD Bank account for cash transactions from localbitcoins.

But then again, I've also had good luck with Chase and Wells Fargo, the only difference being that those were well established accounts.

Edit: FinCEN and other govt. agencies have published guidelines (intended for banking compliance) on how to detect money laundering and transaction structuring patterns. You should read these so as to understand what kind of triggers the banks might have put in place ... and to avoid tripping them.

Sometimes it can just be down to "suspicious activity", which is ominous and ridiculously large 'definition' to it. I guess some banks just won't like Bitcoin or are suspicious of money laundering.
17854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN]SocialCoin - The First crypto coin that gives value back to society on: January 04, 2014, 01:10:30 PM
Post more details on the coin. We have no idea what it's about.

Gives back to society, and by society, he means pre-miners  Grin.

or "early adopters".

LOL this fuckin kid's a laugh riot.

The message, as in some jumped up brit boi should think twice before mouthing off in a thread that doesn't concern him, repeating after me after every reply, and now bein a bitch who is trying to find excuses to get mouthy about something that wasn't any of his concern.

Get it? Scram.

How doesn't it concern me exactly? You got excited and PMd me with your ridiculously foolish offer even after I made no suggestion of wanting to take you up on it. So you kinda made it my concern.

What? Do you not know how forums work?

You've really showed how mature you are here, I'm sure you'll get lots of offers since you're obviously such a high flying crypto-trader. Oh, wait, no you're not, you're some stupid idiot scammer kid who likes to badmouth people on the internet from his mum's basement.

And I think I'll stick around, thanks.

Pm sent to hilarious

I don't know, but I don't really think I could have made the small sum I did by just being 'lucky'. Luck of certain type follows only when you are prepared to seize the opportunities that come along. I don't think anyone believes opportunities grow on trees, but they aren't the same as trying to catch a falling star either. If someone uses 'lucky' as a word to describe a trading activity, I don't think they are particularly confident about what it means to trade. I dealt in investments before, and getting lucky was pretty much a taboo word, at least where I operated.

In regards to collateral, we can negotiate.

As I said, pm me for any specific questions.

And just because you made some money doesn't mean you can continue making it. Markets can crash then you're left with nothing and no way to pay these loans back. If you're so skilful at investing, keep investing and making your money that way.

Sure thing bro. Wanna add something else? Smiley

Yes, you're a fool if you think people are going to lend you 3BTC for the 19 Ron Paul coins collateral you offered me, bro.

LOL little bitch. Wanna fool some more? Get the fuck out if you got nothing else but mouth. Get the message?

LOL. Not really, no. What is the message exactly? Tell me again how these Ron Paul coins are going to be worth 1 Bitcoin a piece, bro.

also it's a plus if hosted in north America rather than in Vlads basement in Russia.

Oh yeah, that ought to help you avoid being spied on or flagged as a money launderer.

Stay away from the evil Russians or anything outside the safety and security of the United States.

*100% sarcasm

I think that was his point.
17860  Economy / Gambling / Re: LastWinsAll.com - Experimental game with simple rules on: January 04, 2014, 12:16:19 PM
Even if OP was not a scam.
I could just watch on blockchain who ever send the highest ammount, and wait for the deadline and send a higher ammount and win

unfair game if you ask me

The deadline is 24 hours from the last best, so somebody could then just do that to you, and this is what the OP would want.

You understand that this will not continue indefinitely and bets will stop? And it will happen much faster than you imagine.

Ah, so it's just a one time thing?
