Shittiest-run forum on the internet.  You are causing great damage to crypto-currencies by merely being incompetent administrators.  I've been trying to post on here for a few days now.

Ah ah was the price too high for an account still locked in the newbie jail?
Cry me a river

Haha, you neg-bombed him? You sure it's bought/hacked? Would be funny if he did buy it and now this  Grin.
17882  Other / Meta / Re: Gratz to SaltySpitoon for becoming a global mod! on: January 04, 2014, 10:47:11 AM
Like he doesn't have enough work with the new altcoin subforums Grin
Congrats and good luck

That's what I thought  Cheesy.

I imagine all forum mods like this for some reason.

And I'm going to make it my resolution to watch The Sopranos again this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfZAERH8rSM Paulie Walnuts always cracks me up.
17883  Other / Meta / Re: List of reported threads on: January 04, 2014, 10:40:38 AM
I know some moderators think it's not a good idea to make the reports "result" (accepted or not + reason) accessible by the reporter
But would it be possible to at least show the list of the posts one reported? It shouldn't be too hard to do?

I'd like this. I had one report that wasn't accepted and I'd love to know what it was.

Also, is there a list of what posts/threads should/shouldn't be reported?

Changing avatars is currently not possible.
When will setting/changing avatars be possible?
When it's ready

You sound like my mother haha.

I don't think there's any rush to fix the avatars. Apparently new software is coming soon.

waits for somebody to post this:

17885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: thoughts on Bitgo - the most secure wallet 3-fa on: January 04, 2014, 10:27:03 AM
People are still using web wallets really? Did we not learn from blockchain.info.

What's wrong with blockchain.info?
17886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this malware from 4bc.co or just spam? on: January 04, 2014, 10:26:07 AM
In regards to the thread title, I would say yes, it is. Make sure to post a warning in his thread if you haven’t already.
17887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can now use Bitcoin to generate tax revenue for Colerado by buying Marijuana on: January 04, 2014, 10:24:21 AM
It's interesting how banks won't deal with them still. Maybe this could be a really good way for people to get involved with Bitcoin.

I really hope their stupidity and refusal to work with these types of busniess really comes back to bite them.

I only hope one day the masses will realise how much we don't need them for this stuff anymore.
17888  Economy / Lending / Re: Budding Trader Seeking 3.0 BTC Loan - Collateral Provided/Negotiable on: January 04, 2014, 10:22:07 AM
Wrong section. What collateral do you have? So you just want the loan to hopefully strike it rich by trading?

It might be an old account, but you're still technically a newbie. You just need to wait 6 minutes before each post. Log-ins also count.

And the mods here will tell you this is a Bitcoin forum, not for all cryptocurrencies.
17891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Huge notification on: January 04, 2014, 10:04:00 AM
Was wondering why there isn't a huge notification on top of the page explaining that you can only post in the newbie section lol took me a bit to figure that out

How huge do you want it? It tells you when you sign up and there's a newbie read me stickied.
17892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinye West - Don't f**k with this coin on: January 04, 2014, 09:55:50 AM
DO NOT TOUCH THIS WITH A TEN FOOT POLE!

It is a total and utter scam coin designed for PR purposes and likely pump and dumps.

It is run by a music related company which means that it goes against everything there is regarding de-central crypto and more importantly they admit flat out that it is pre-mined!

Its a complete joke, no security developed by PR and Marketing people who have no idea what they are doing.

See here where they even admit most of it http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/kanye-west-gets-his-own-virtual-currencythe-coinye-west-9038055.html

Where does it say it's run by a music-related company?

You probably didn't make it to this topic with your first click, but you got the contents anyway!

502 Bad Gateway
nginx

I've been on this site for 2 weeks and never gave this before until today, it takes a few clicks but eventually I get through

You need to lurk more. Happened a few times the past couple of weeks, but usually only lasts a few hours.
17894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Millions of bitcoins transferred around in the last few hours! on: January 03, 2014, 06:13:33 PM
Millions of dollars worth of Bitcoins, perhaps.  For the actual amount, it would be somewhere around 36000 bitcoins.

Isn't there always millions of dollars of Bitcoins moving about?
17895  Economy / Economics / Re: If tax calculators are to believed, staying in the UK means getting robbed on: January 03, 2014, 06:00:32 PM
Middle class means easily taxed and robbed, lower class is thank you and keep being there.

What are these classes you talk about? How much money you have?
17896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wow such doge such slow site on: January 03, 2014, 05:54:37 PM
I just want to say, i love 502 Bad Gateway

nginx, i love 45 second log in.

I love 2 weeks waiting for a email to verify and someone tells me no you can only post in this newbie forum.

I love wasting my time.

You seem to be mistaken, this isn't the Dogesite.

It is spelled "Colorado"

dork.

He's probably stoned  Grin.
17899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can now use Bitcoin to generate tax revenue for Colerado by buying Marijuana on: January 03, 2014, 05:40:57 PM
What incentive is there to use cash to buy Bitcoins to buy marijuana when you could just use the cash to buy it? The reason to use debit or credit cards would be the convenience of not having to stop by the bank first to get cash. Bitcoins, in this case, would provide no benefit in anonymity or convenience.

I just think people who got Bitcoins might take an advantage of this.

Stoner miners or minor stoners. lol
