181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check bounty legit or scam?? on: February 21, 2018, 04:58:32 AM
how to check the bonty program is legit or sexcem. sometimes there are bounty programs that do not include the spreadsheet

If you want to know whether the bounty program is legitimate or not, do not focus on the bounty program itself. It will not give you a definitive answer. Instead, look at the project. Carefully study the project offering the bounty program. If the project is legitimate, their bounty program is definitely the same. A legitimate project cannot afford to simply lose their good reputation out of bounty concerns. You may ask for the spreadsheet. If they do not respond, abandon them immediately. That means they do not take bounty participants seriously and might not pay.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long vs. Short: Bitcoin and Alts on: February 21, 2018, 04:22:42 AM
Hey guys, which do you guys think is the most favourable coins for long and short trading strategies for the remainder of 2018?

Opinions, please!

I am not so much into short term right now. I think it is unwise to go to that strategy since my coins are bought last year and they have incur losses already. So I am prepared to just hodl them long term, until such time that they have already gained back what they have lost in the recent red days. I have ETH, ADA, Waves, ETC, AVT, SC, and VTC. If you want short term with altcoins and Bitcoin right now, you may go ahead actually since we are in red days right now.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth founder says crypto could go to zero anytime on: February 20, 2018, 07:33:18 AM
We are talking of possibilities here. And Vitalik Buterin is just being true to the real situation. If we talk of possibilities, it covers pretty much everything. It is even possible for the world to end tomorrow. That's the equivalent of Buterin's statement. I hope people will not make something totally different from what the person is really talking about. This might become another source of shallow and unnecessary FUD.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic Sell ? / Chance on: February 20, 2018, 01:18:52 AM
According to you . if in the current time, what do you do when bitcoin decreases current price? do you sell or hold and buy bitcoin again?
and do you think that bitcoin prices will rise in the near future? give your opinion and your reasons whether bitcoin will rise or even drop drastically?

This is what I and everyone else should do. If you have Bitcoins and the market plunges, keep hodling. The bounce back of the market will always be much stronger than the downfall. So hodl and do not panic. And if you have the money that could be disposed of in investments, get it out of your bank accounts and buy Bitcoins during the dump. There will be much bigger returns in it. Just leave a little amount in case of emergency.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES still a good bet? on: February 19, 2018, 06:50:37 AM
Hey guys,

I am wondering what's your opinion on WAVES? Looking at it the past weeks kind of makes me wondering if it is. Basically every Alt somehow got pumped pretty significantly. WAVES on the other hand somehow keeps pretty steady or looses value. Maybe it's just a wrong impression on my side, I would be just interested what's your take in its future Smiley

Waves is always a good buy. Most especially right now when the price is way down its previous all time high. There will be a huge gain before the first quarter of the year 2018 comes to a close. Waves is a very great project. The team is also very awesome. They are always doing something to make sure that Waves is in constant progress. Look at how they announce updates after updates regularly. This shows where the project and their coin will go to in the coming months.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose your bounty hunt? on: February 19, 2018, 06:23:32 AM
Do you follow any particular system or do you take any particular steps to make sure you are on a good bounty campaign? Do you just look at the WP or the total ammount?

I look at the whitepaper, the website, the project's bitcointalk ANN as well as bounty threads, their twitter account, and sometimes their telegram. Actually, I only visit their telegram if I want to raise some questions. These steps are necessary if you want to promote a project that you personally believe in. Of course, when checking the bounty thread of a certain project, you need to look at the allocation to the campaign you want to participate in. That is to make sure that your tasks will be paid according to your efforts.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins without Bitcoin on: February 18, 2018, 07:42:32 AM
Hello!

With the recent decrease in value of Bitcoin, the value of almost all the altcoins dropped too.
Now BTC is rising again and so are the altcoins.

I am thinking that if Bitcoin ever crashes, I mean completely drops to a very low value and when doesn't increase anymore.
Then the altcoins are going to drop too and won't have a high value anymore too, which means the cryptocurrency world will die.

Is my statement just nonsense or can it be correct?

I'm curious of what you all think will happen to the altcoins if BTC crashes for real.

You have some good points. There is a very vital connection between Bitcoin and the rest of the world of cryptocurrencies. When Bitcoin goes down a little bit hard, the tendency is that the rest of the altcoins are really affected. Thus, the red days happening sometimes. That is what everyone observed just recently. And then when Bitcoin starts to recover, the altcoins will also start doing the same.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: February 18, 2018, 07:09:42 AM
The world is becoming a single community because of cryptocurrencies. That is one thing that crypto is really amazing about. Aside from the fact that it truly revolutionizes the entire payment spectrum of the world, it somehow removes barriers set by strict territorial boundaries of countries. And then there is the fact that cryptocurrencies are very promising right now in terms of value growth. It is so because it is still an under-appreciated innovation.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: February 17, 2018, 08:08:05 AM
Hi everyone,
Im a newbie, i just known about Bitcoin in 1 month. I decided to spend my money that i have saved for a long time in Bitcoin. Please tell me some name of Altcoin, i want hold it until i marry.

Thanks for all response

Here are some altcoins that will definitely hit new high levels in the months to come and onwards. Of course, I will be starting with the top of all altcoins right now and in the future. That is Ethereum (ETH). And then you also include in your long term portfolio Power Ledger (POWR), Aventus (AVT), Stratis (Strat), Waves (Waves), Titanium (BAR), and Ethereum Classic (ETC). Take some advice from other people as well.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs are fire in February ? (Not shilled by McAfee) on: February 17, 2018, 03:04:59 AM
I am currently looking at Medichain, Streamity, and of course the one that I am proudly promoting: TEND. This is going to be another successful ICO definitely. Just like the soldout ICO Swissborg that just recently made it in HitBTC, TEND is also proudly and meticulously made in Switzerland and will be enjoyed by anyone in the world. The ICO of TEND is live right now and everyone can still check the project's website and participate.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: February 16, 2018, 09:07:50 AM
That is the truth. There are way too many ICOs right now. It may be taken as a good sign or a bad sign. A good sign because it simply means that ICOs are generally productive and successful as an investment-generating tool. The result of which is that there are now many projects that opted to raise funds through an ICO. Bad because it seems that the market is really getting overcrowded and clogged. And many of these ICOs are scams. There is no other way to determine which one is legit but through a very careful study of the entire project.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices will go up this week ? on: February 15, 2018, 09:45:44 AM
The prices have been moving upwards for a while now. I hope this is going to continue for some time. For the most part of January and February or even in December of last year, everything was in red. People are in panic mode, I mean, those that are easily swayed by the looks of the color of blood. That caused a lot of people to lose a great deal of investment. But I think we are already starting to recover. Previous all time highs of Bitcoin as well as altcoins might be surpassed within the first half of this year.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is the next generation of BTC? on: February 15, 2018, 09:04:52 AM
Right now, price of ETH is low, is there again rise in the ETH ?  I can see eth going above bitcoin because of combination between drop in the price of bitcoin and increase in the price of eth.

There is no argument against Ethereum being touted as the next generation of Bitcoin. That is the prevailing truth right now. Bitcoin is always ahead and those that came later like Ethereum must only be the next generation. But when you say that it will surpass Bitcoin, that might not actually happen. There is no reason why Bitcoin would suddenly fall down and be replaced with Ethereum. Both are actually growing right now in value but with Bitcoin much faster.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: February 14, 2018, 05:06:00 AM
Five years from now, Ethereum will probably be around $10,000. Well, that is my speculation using the previous pace of the coin. If everything will go as smoothly as in the last several months, there is no reason why Ethereum cannot hit $10,000 in five years. That is even a conservative speculation. As a matter of fact, within 2018, Ethereum is going to end up hitting around $3,000.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: February 13, 2018, 11:32:59 AM
Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous.  Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose.  This is so far removed from satoshi's vision.  Premine bullshit  scams like onion.  Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype.  We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.

I know your disappointment. I can feel you because I am also disappointed every time I see an ICO that went successful but ended up a total scam. But it is not a great thing to happen if we just want the entire crypto to crash simply because of these selected projects. It is not a good decision to just throw away the baby with the bathwater. There are so many great things offered by various altcoins and Bitcoin right now. We just have to weed out these rotten tomatoes. The entire crypto should not be taken into the garbage bin.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin for you? on: February 12, 2018, 07:19:35 AM
I've seen a lot of cryptocurrencies trying to top off bitcoin with their benefits in investing and having wallets. Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and many more, but as far as I know these altcoins are doing their very best to dethrone bitcoin, as of now I wanna know about these altcoins more, I wanna know what would be the best cryptocurrency for you, remove bitcoin on the list, what is the best altcoin after bitcoin? Give me your insights about it.

I think you got it all wrong. I think the purpose of Ethereum and Ripple and Litecoin is not really to dethrone Bitcoin. It is my assumption that all these altcoins are looking up at Bitcoin as the first of everything and they all want that someday they, too, will become like Bitcoin, at least in terms of the value appreciation. The mentioned altcoins are offering different sets of features. Litecoin is the most Bitcoin-like of the three though.

I don't know if this is required in signature and avatar campaign. I am doing this since the rules say so.

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to choose a good bounty ?? on: February 11, 2018, 06:01:13 AM
I am here just wanted to ask me is a bounty hunter (people who work bounty) here I am still confused how to choose a good bounty of coins ?? for me to do because most of his coins ico die before in can grow

In order for you to arrive at a good bounty, do not just choose the huge amount of bounty the project is offering. Instead, choose the best project and then your bounty will definitely be worth it. Scrutinize carefully the project you want to promote before looking at how much the project is paying. Even if you received a huge payment in tokens if there is no one interested in buying it, it will become worthless. But if you received only a small bounty but the project is getting more and more successful, your coins will grow big in value.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A little good news on: February 11, 2018, 05:22:52 AM
Hi guys,
I want to share a little good news for the cryptoworld.
In a little city of a poor little country (do you remember the Floating Piers installation of Christo, the artist) in January there has been the first speedboat sell in bitcoin (5 BTC, not nuts).
For me, it's a very good news; if also in a financially backward country like mine this things happens..............it make me more optimistic for the future of the crypto.

This may sound a little good news but the truth is that transactions such as this will slowly promote Bitcoin and crypto to the farthest corners of the world. If such transactions constantly happen, we will see Bitcoin becoming the main currency of the world. I am with the belief that these little good news are actually the ones that will make the foundation of Bitcoin solid and will build a strong reputation.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend good ICO to invest to on: February 09, 2018, 10:09:17 AM
Guys, do you know any really good ICO where you'd advise to invest? Please, don't advertise your projects here, I'll just accept real recommendations

First and foremost, pardon me for introducing my project. After all, why would I proudly wear a certain project's signature and avatar when I do not personally believe in it and even invest in it? I am not one who simply join campaigns without ever checking on their project's whitepaper and the website and the project team's members as well as their credentials.

TEND is a swiss company that will create for you a whole new investment world using the blockchain technology. I am not saying you need to participate in their ICO. I am only saying take a peek into it and decide for yourself. https://tendswiss.com/index.html
