181  Economy / Economics / Re: The re-accumulation period is in on: October 03, 2019, 05:48:52 AM

The chart aligns with a perfect timing for:

1) General public has been demolished and demoralized. Everyone that is still hasn't realized altcoins are dead are about to.
2) Huge updates coming for Bitcoin, start reading on this for instance: https://arxiv.org/abs/1905.10518
3) Halving comes at the right time
4) OTC options like Bakkt are ready for boomers and computer illiterates which want exposure to Bitcoin but have no resources to keep their own

How much are you buying monthly?

Excellent chart, you're on to something here!

Looks ripe for the hype (lol). It's simple and enumerated things like these that the general masses take in really well. With such a clear chart showing a potential increase in bitcoin value, who can argue? I'm personally inclined to put in $100 per month from now on.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ on: October 03, 2019, 05:23:47 AM
After bitcoin halving in 2020 don't be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ before 2021,this are the reasons why i think its possible

1. The teams are willing to try out new things with the project, many projects that have already achieved what ETH have ends up surrendering but ETH teams are not showing sign of stopping

2. I cant say more about the ETH2.0 upgrade but the POS implementation will make it worthwhile, the reason why i invested in some POS coins is to use the gains to sustain and get many daily needs till the day when holding them will pay off big,the POS will make many investors want to hold ETH for long term ultimately will leads to more adoption

$4000 is a huge longshot.

Although i agree with you on the fact that ETH value will surely rise because of it's fundamentals (and because it's Vitalik, come on), the fact that they've been saying they will go to proof-of-stake or ETH2.0 for 3 years now is quite disturbing. Delay after delay with slow progress. The progress to $4000 may take longer than 2021 i'm afraid.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: October 03, 2019, 05:15:46 AM
Nice, risky decision but I like it. Even CZ did this kind of thing way back when he started. Much better to hold bitcoins first before you hold some altcoins and now is the right time to buy. At least 20% of your portfolio in bitcoin then 80% to diversify in altcoins that you like. I think you should grab some ETH, RVN and pick new altcoins that are very undervalued.

I think you have it the other way around.

With the way bitcoin dominance is showing it's teeth right now, it may instead be better to invest 80% in bitcoin then leave the reamining 20% to diversify in altcoins with good fundamentals (ETH would be my only pick by the way).
184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement. on: October 02, 2019, 11:48:13 PM
The Coinexchange.io is about to close. According to their last announcement, trading and deposits will be closed from 15th of October 2019. They have shown the cause of the market situation.
Those who have funds in the Coinexchange.io can withdraw until 1st of December 2019.

Announcement :-  https://www.coinexchange.io/news/post/85/

At least they gave notice. Thats very noble of them.

There are some exchangers out there that won't even give notice and just suddenly close down with no chance of letting people withdraw their money. It's easy for some exchangers to just say they got "hacked" and "we will be investigating." *AHEM* *CRYPTOPIA* *u lying cheats* *cough cough*
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Request]Monero OpenCL GPU Miner on: October 02, 2019, 11:40:17 PM
SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3167363.0

+1 more upvote for SRBMiner.

Been using it for my AMD rigs (Vega GPUs work great on this miner) for the past few years and it's regularly being updated for improvements and fixes. I also noticed running multiple instances of this miner isn't too heavy on the CPU as well.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: October 02, 2019, 05:21:54 PM
i don't know what on earth would trigger the bullrun in the alts. i think we have seen enough of this bloodbath there is about 8 month left in the bitcoin next block halving and still market condition is not improving. is there will be any improvement in the alts or they all will die

Whats next? Well i think it's the bull market thats next.

My opinion is that this is all part of a cycle that repeats infinitely while at the same time giving us higher lows every time. So many people still don't know about crypto and it's potential to change the financial world and when mass adoption increases we are surely in for more bull-bear market cycles.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sudden drop in BTC? on: October 02, 2019, 03:58:42 PM
I would suggest that you keep a strong patience and set tight. Market will recover itself.

Do you think that i am right?  Go ahead and share you thoughts about the current market situation and your point of view.

You are absolutely right.

Anyone in the crypto game long enough should know that these dips are just good buying opportunities. Crypto is here to stay and all we need to do is be patient. The upcoming halvening is also a good sign that value is about to rise. Just hodl and be patient!
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: October 02, 2019, 03:56:51 PM
The smarter option?
Investment! Investment is not gambling if done rightly. Very often we see people not putting too much effort into learning and jumping into FOMO. They don’t have enough guidance that will help them to invest better.

Well, yes, how can anyone argue that investing is better than saving?

An important thing to consider tho, always keep an EMERGENCY SAVINGS FUND. By nature of the name, emergency funds are essential when you need cash and FAST (in emergencies!). With investments, theres always a layer of bureaucracy that you have to go through before you get your money, and this is not good at all for emergencies.

You never know when you will need it! Better safe than sorry.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: October 02, 2019, 03:51:34 PM

I have not been really into investing though I have some stocks with a premiere banking firm here in my country, which i just left in my broker's site idle for some years now. What made me excited into investing is cryptocurrency but unfortunately it was not bitcoin but a scamming project called TheBillionCoin which by name itself really sounded so dubious. Okay, I was still innocent and naive at the time. Soon, I meet bitcoin and it was not yet that pricey at the time but because I was not convinced that it can go sky-high I just bought some.

The main source of the money I invested with bitcoin comes from doing online job with a platform where we are allowed to post in many forums in exchange for some points and the those points can be converted to real money anytime.

What are the sources of the money you invested with bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Anybody here used credit cards?

I have multiple crypto investment avenues. I invest directly from my 9-5 job's salary, this is where the bulk comes from, nothing like a good investment after pay day (it feels good!). Additionally, i invest my electricity costs from my small mining rig at home, i pay the electricity bill with fiat and in turn never cash out mining revenue. Lastly, i also invest earnings from signature campaigns in this forum.

Individually, these investments don't seem to affect my daily living, but they add up over time and i've now been able to save around 2 bitcoin.
190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: October 02, 2019, 03:38:40 PM
I am a newbie of trading so i don't have proper knowledge about trading. But honestly i want to be a trader. But first time which trading is best for me daily or long term?
Thanks in advance.

I believe it's just called "day" trading, no need for "daily."

In any case, i used to think i could make it big, doing research, analyzing trends, doing day trading. However i soon realized that crypto is so volatile and often times doesn't follow technical analysis and more often than not just follows rumors, scandals, and good news. So from losing money as a day trader, i just went long and am waiting for my trades to profit by themselves.

Remember that on a long enough timeline, crypto is a great investment.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Harmony. +800% after IEO on: October 02, 2019, 11:37:40 AM
The same happens to most altcoins, be it an ICO, IEO, or STO. Once it's done pumping and dumping, you can't expect much more from the token except maybe another pump and dump (of smaller magnitude) before it actually gets abandoned.

Sadly, this has been the experience of many ICO investors. Better be safe and just invest on the big B (bitcoin).
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining New Coins Can be Deceiving on: October 02, 2019, 07:40:49 AM
I think Cryptonight coins are very easier to build than ETH Erc20 tokens because 99% of cryptonight coins i mined are all dead now,i started mining the following some months back and now they are all dead.
1.TOKL
2.FEST
3.SnOWFlake
4.ReCoal
5.Bbs coin

I mined this coins back then because they are new and new coins always have low mining difficulty thinking to myself that the wuickly i start mining new coins the more quantities i will owned but i was wrong, any advice will be fine thanks

You took the risk, and that is the result. That is why mining is not meant to be a simple hobby but treated like a business which has to be researched and analyzed. There are different ways to go about mining and you need to make sure you know what you are doing.

Some strategies are mining only "blue chip" coins (like ETH, RVN,  and the like), immediately selling mining proceeds, or even holding immediately trading mined coins.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: October 02, 2019, 07:07:20 AM
Personally, i'd recommend going for the full time job.

With all the abundance of responses, i had hoped that the topic starter would return and give us an update on what he did with his life. Would be interesting to see if like other people he was able to use leverage trading and turn his $300 to some crazy number like $300,000. Well, it's quite a longshot but theres always this chance of getting lucky.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: October 02, 2019, 06:58:08 AM
LTC bagholders always amuse me. Remind me again why do we need LTC?

Haha i completely agree with you. Like why do we need another bitcoin? Litecoin lovers will probably mention this and that feature but ultimately, it really doesn't offer anything new and is inferior in terms or real world use and adoption.

It's a great coin because it's based on the greatest cryptocurrency ever and that is Bitcoin.
195  Economy / Economics / Re: The New World Order with Crypto and Blockchain Technology on: October 02, 2019, 06:13:27 AM
If a New World Order takes effect soon, do you think that all of the world's governments will make use of crypto and Blockchain technology to their fullest potential? Imagine if one world digital currency existed, where every single country makes use of it worldwide. Central Banks will act as nodes and miners of that digital currency, which is backed by the Blockchain. The single, unified Blockchain will prove to become highly scalable for the world, especially since it'll be extremely centralized.

By making use of Blockchain technology for everything, global control will be enforced as it's much easier to track every single transaction made worldwide. Those transactions will not only involve money, but also transfer of ownership, certificates of birth, driver's license, and other services within the global Blockchain system. This may sound crazy, but if you look at the current situation where many Banks and governments have become interested in the technology, it shows us that it will be implemented in every area worldwide within the not-so-distant future.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts? Huh

That sir is a very idealistic vision of what blockchain and crypto can do for the world. However far feteched it may be, theres just so many risks involved that governments will have a hard time approving something like this.

What if the world blockchain gets hacked? With such a high stakes reward, there will surely be groups of people interested in hacking it to their advantage.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 8x profit in a bear market?! - Learn how this trader did it by buying a Put on: October 02, 2019, 05:42:49 AM
I'm assuming this "put" option can be done on your "sparrow exchange"? How is "Put" different from shorting a stock and simply selling it now and buying it again at a later time?
I'm not sure I understand the need for additional steps and having an why having a new type of exchange is needed?

I'm thinking this can be simplified like "i sell btc at 9.6k then buy it again at 9k." Does this option mean i get to "bet" 1 whole btc with only $200?
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: October 02, 2019, 05:37:48 AM
These altcoins or shitcoins has become an eyesore every time I checked my wallets three wallets full of shitcoins, I'm desperately looking to trade or dump these altcoins, because it just reminds me of wasted time and money.
Are you also desperately looking to dump your altcoins.

Looks like you've invested too much into shitcoin. I feel bad for you.

The thing is, you don't need to keep holding if they don't have value yet. It's a hard pill to swallow i know, but most likely they will never have any value if they aren't listed on an exchange even up to know. Majority of ICOs have turned out to be scams and have already been abandoned by their developers.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: October 02, 2019, 05:33:18 AM
SM Entertainment, one of the top entertainment company in Sout Korea is planning on making its own blockchain network.

Due to the shareholder revolt and a falling stock price of the company they wanted to create this, in order for the Artists and the company itself be able to directly interact with the fans and be more engaged in the entertainment ecosystem.

What are your thoughts? Do you think this will have a "major" impact?

For more info, refer to these articles: Korea’s Biggest Entertainment Company to Launch Its Own Cryptocurrency and K-Pop Music Giant SM Entertainment Is Planning Its Own Cryptocurrency

This is genius. These KPOP starts have a broad and FANATICAL following. I know some people who would buy and do anything for tickets to sold-out concerts by these kpop stars.

This is a really good move on the part of SM entertainment and i wouldn't be surprised if it becomes an all out success for them. The only thing they need to do is to make the user interface user friendly and surely it will be a hit.

199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 50x in 5 days on BTC swap on Okex on: October 02, 2019, 04:32:09 AM
Starting from 70x leverage

Congratulations!

That is an incredible gain from $50 to $5000. I just have some questions, why use Okex? I'm thinking of gambling $50 myself and am looking at exchanges where i can do 100x leverage (just a fun experiment to see what happens!). Also, do you have any specific tips on how to time the buys?
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will There Really Be An Altcoin Season or Just a plot to Keep us in the Loop on: October 02, 2019, 04:27:25 AM
While our altcoins keep depreciating in value daily as we keep vigil for altseason, bitcoin dominance has crossed 70% and keeps growing in strength. Will there really be an altseason.

Kindly read -
https://medium.com/bull-bitcoin/alt-season-scamming-noobs-since-2013-71bd19410d98

Since 2013? You could count a few altcoins seasons that have boomed since then, altcoins weren't even so popular until the recent hype in 2017. Sadly, with all the hype also came so many opportunistic scammers that took advantage of new people in crypto. My opinion is THERE ARE altcoin seasons, nobody can tell if the next one will be as huge as the previous ones, but time will come when at least some of these altcoin projects will finally be realized.
