1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 22, 2022, 03:00:31 PM
It's not that simple. I can give you an example of 1xBit casino on this forum. All participants have a red trust and a terrible reputation. Probably every member of the forum knows that it is a scam. But when I went to a popular site Blockchair.com, I saw 1xBit ads there. That is, the reputation on the forum and advertising on such a popular site contradict each other. And it seems to me that many visitors to Blockchair.com don't know about the bad reputation on Bitcointalk.

Casino 1xbit has a bad reputation not only on BTT (by the way, I'm surprised how they manage to keep their audience at the level necessary to function if everyone knows that they are a scam). But as we know they have advertising money so they advertise everywhere they can and some of their potential customers don't do any research of their own and get caught in their web.

Yeah, it's all money now, it's business and so those websites are going to accept that payment specially if it's going to be ongoing and big amount just to advertised those scam websites.

Maybe here in our community, members are fully aware of their reputation, but still they wanted to promote it and there are members willing to get red tagged along with it as long as they are getting paid handsomely.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know on: December 22, 2022, 02:43:03 PM
Do you know that some crypto projects are so amazing that you will want to give up your money just to allocate some portion of the max supply but the tokenomics ruined it all?

Some projects have good utilities but their tokenomics is very bad, if you don't know this do try learning the difference between good utility and good tokenomics because it is very important and this will help you on your future crypto investments.

No matter how tempted you are to invest in a project always learn its tokenomics first.

I guess that's how crypto involved from 2017's ICO to the last craze or what's in in 2022. Tokenomics and all that stuff turn's into a bad thing for the project itself. Gone are the days that we just have to look at the Whitepaper and see their roadmap and tells that this project is bad or not.

But since it has evolved so much and they have reinvent the wheel with this crypto projects, it turn out to be negative for the majority of them. And probably this is the reason why some projects die in the bear market because it might be good in the beginning, but it was ruined by their tokenomics.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Binance outflows - should we be concerned? on: December 21, 2022, 09:40:10 PM
And suddenly, the FUD has stop already, unfortunately, if did damage to the price. From as high as $18,200 and everyone is very happy that at least at the end of the year, we have reach that price, t o $16,700, huge difference because of the FUD on Binance out flows.

But the market subsided already, CZ already shows that his Binance and BNB is here to stay and no matter what the FUD are, he is going to fight it.

Just weeks from the end of the year, and hopefully altcoin market will show some uptick next year.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 21, 2022, 02:07:32 PM

But all things are really different if you have position on government because for sure your voice will be heard and you will get more funds to support your cause so I can't blame Pacquiao to get this ambition since maybe he really have huge vision to make a better Philippines. But his knowledge doesn't really fit to became a leader because he didn't prove anything yet especially on critical scenario which is the decision of president is really carefully needed.

Obviously, he got a big vision for the Philippines, and that's the reason why he run for President, unfortunately, he loses in the last election. Well, maybe he is not really meant to be a President, but he can still continue helping people in his own way, just like what he did in this fight, he donated all the proceeds to the charity.

And I guess that even though you have a good plan and vision for your country, it's not going to work on your way. Many think that running for President is one of the worst decision that Manny did, nevertheless he still continue with it despite some opposition from some people inside his circle.

But he can't be just stop, he can still help his people like in this fight with DK where the proceeds goes to the Filipinos.

And then some of the Ukraine vs Russia war.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: December 21, 2022, 01:42:32 PM
It is something that catches my attention, Pacquiao never ceases to amaze me, for me a true legend, it is a pity that he does not continue boxing professionally.

He did the right thing by retiring from the ring. He has achieved whatever he wanted. He wanted to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr., but he couldn't achieve that in 2015. Even in 2019 he was able to defeat Keith Thurman. But his last fight against Yordenis Ugás ended in defeat and he decided to hang up his boots after that. The fight against DK Yoo this month was not a professional fight, but rather an exhibition match. It was a completely one-sided match, with predictable outcome. But I was surprised with the fact that Yoo lasted for full 6 rounds.

Yeah, it was a different Manny who show on the Ugas fight, maybe it was the cramps or the complete change of opponent that throw him off.

But in any case, he has retired and age gracefully in boxing, he has cemented his legacy already. So I don't know why he still wanted to fight the young or at least the current champion in Spence and Crawford.

Just enjoy the exhibition fight next in Saudi make money and have a good and successful life.
1826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 21, 2022, 01:16:46 PM
With this statement of Inoue, some of the Filipino boxing fans thinks that Inoue is avoiding Casimero because if he grinds for ranking after he goes up in weight division, there is a possibility for Inoue to fight Casimero. While going straight to a title fight will definitely evade a fight against Casimero.
Maybe he can be a champion but Casimero will always be his tough challenger and the time will come when he will have no choice but to fight him. If he will evade Casimero, not only the Filipino fans will think that he is afraid of him but the whole boxing community, so if he has the pride of a champion, he needs to take the challenge of Casimero.
I don't see any news or articles said if Inoue is avoiding to fight with Casimero, maybe it's just your speculation. Well Inoue will not scared with anyone, as long as he's not fight with an undisputed champion, he wouldn't avoid to fight with any boxer. Maybe Inoue think there's no reason to fight with a boxer who doesn't have any belt since it's wasting his time, it depends on each boxer if he want to "warm up" first or directly fight with a champion.
Definitely, it's only an speculation, but as a fan, we saw what happened, they were supposed to fight but due to the pandemic the fight was cancelled, but when there's no pandemic anymore, Inoue's camp did not make the fight happen, so you have to understand the frustration of the fans because they want to see a good fight and they think only Casimero can match Inoue in their division.

The fight was not cancelled if I'm not mistaken because there is no fight to be made in the first place.

What happened is that Casimero will have to defend his belt against Paul Butler in UK. But Casimero has medical issues on the first scheduled fight, and so it was rescheduled but was then caught by BBBoC of using sauna to shed off the extra weight on his. And that could be Casimero fighting Inoue instead of Butler. But it's all Casimero's fault for the fight not happening at least in the bantamweight division.
1827  Other / Off-topic / Re: Kylian Mbappé Scored 8 Goals with Highest Scorer of 2022 Qatar World Cup on: December 19, 2022, 02:28:52 AM
A great achievement. Will the goals in the extra time of the final also be counted? Then he would have scored no less than 3 goals in a match. That is unprecedented at this level. He will not enjoy it much, he would rather have become world champion and that Messi would have had the title of top scorer. Messi is the big winner. Mbappe will participate in the World Cup more often, but was invisible for almost the entire game today. His moment came with a 2-1 lead by Argentina in which he managed to shoot in the 2-2 in a great way. In any case, there is room for another golden boot for his trophy cabinet.

As far as I know, there haven't been anyone before able to score a hat trick in a world cup final, so that's a first for him.

He also won the young player of the tournament in the previous world cup

He is probably going to be the next best thing in the world arena of football.

For sure, he will be the biggest name in football for the next coming years with this kind of performance in world cup, and that hat trick though, hard to do in this kind of tournament. And it just shows how special this kind of players and what will be his future in the sports and for France as well.

For Messi, finally and could be considered the GOAT in this generation of footballers and his name are being mentioned along the greats like Pele and obviously the great Diego Maradona.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: December 18, 2022, 09:15:04 AM
So far I consider David Benavidez as the favorite to win this fight, Benavez in May beat David Lemieux while Caleb Plant beat Anthony Dirrell by KO in the 9th round, while Benavez beat David Lemieux in the 3rd round, I imagine that the fight will be much more difficult on Benavidez's side because his defense is questionable, Plant will take advantage of that and if the fight goes on for a long time then Plant will have greater advantages to win the fight, and in the in my opinion Plant seems more like the type of fighter who has more resistance in the fight, so the longer the rounds he has the greater chances of winning because the opponent will be weakened

Reading your comments here raised my eyebrows. So this fight is not yet signed?

Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant has revealed on his Instagram account that he’s inked his contract to face interim WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez early next year.

For his part, the 25-year-old Benavidez (26-0, 23 KOs) already announced the fight to the media last weekend that his management has set him up with the Plant (22-1, 13 KOs) fight for “March” of 2023.

This is the fight Benavidez needs to establish hims

source: https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/caleb-plant-vs-david-benavidez-in-early-2023/253460

https://www.instagram.com/calebplant/

It seems to me that everything is already set for the fight next year, I only see people talking about March of next year, but I don't understand why they don't mention the day of the fight since it's already December

Well, that clears the issue regarding their upcoming fight. It's been revealed already that this fight is already official but I'm leaning on the reasons that they haven't got the right date yet to put the fight. As we all know, organizers will bring the date where they maximize their profit and they are also clearing who will fight in their undercards. Hopefully they can finalize everything before this year ends so that the fans of the respective camps can prepare as well.

Yeah, there could be dates and venue reserved by the promotions, but probably looking for the best place to held this fight. A venue that has a lot of Mexicans as we all know that David Benavidez is Mexican to maximized his exposure and profit as well.

And we will see once the full fight is announced and the date and the venue itself. But it will not change a bit that David will be the favorite here. And I can't wait till the two goes on a face off as there will be a lot of trash talking between the two.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: December 18, 2022, 07:36:33 AM
So maybe this fight becomes a one-sided affair just like the Inoue-Butler fight a few days ago. Well, at least this fight is probably a guaranteed KO fight, Beterbiev cannot lower his awareness too since Yarde is a KO artist too.

And we also have another title fight in the undercard, Artem Dalakian defending his belt against David Jiminez. Both are also undefeated. Maybe these guys will be more competitive than the main event, both guys are also capable of scoring KOs which makes it more compelling.
If Yarde can shut down everyone mouth by knocking out Beterbiev, it will become one of a biggest upset in the next year. Looking on the bookies, some people still consider Yarde can pulll an upset since the odds for Beterbiev is 1.13x. Maybe the betting option of Beterbiev win via KO the odds would be around 1.30x-1.50x which is still worth to bet.

I think Artem Dalakian will able to defend his belt against David Jiminez, it's true Jiminez might become a threat for Dalakian, but Dalakian is a Ukraine boxer, usually an Ukrainian or Russian has a strong chin.

Yes, there are chance that the Dalakian vs Jimenez. Perhaps Dalakian is not known because he seldom travel outside of his native Ukraine. Defeated Brian Villoria in 2018 when obviously Villoria is no longer in his prime.

Jimenez though is the underdog in this fight, but it doesn't mean that he is a push over as he had a good skills and defeated Sandoval in their eliminator. Now he will face Dalakian in the underdog. Could be the best fight, I agree as compare to the main card.
1830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 18, 2022, 06:39:54 AM
I've been into different market cycles through years and my personal view about the bearish season has been changing yearly. I used to see it as a bad thing and I also thought that I could just lose my funds in it but I started appreciating it when I saw its importance. I've realized that the bearish season is an open opportunity for everyone to buy and accumulate potential coins. It isn't something to be feared but it's an opportunity to buy and hold.
That's precisely what I'm thinking, I'm pretty comfortable with the market falling more. Simply because I believe that the market will never die or disappear just because of a few crashes, and I believe this time the market will also recover and rise again. Of course, there is no guarantee that the 4-year history will repeat, maybe the bear season will last longer than we thought, but after all, everything will recover. Therefore, the bear market is an opportunity for us to shop comfortably at extremely low prices, why be afraid?

I guess maturity comes with experience right guys? yeah, we have been in this kind of situation before and we all past that big litmus test when we are all beginners once. But now we have the experience already and so we somewhat are not affected by the bear market and if you look at it, we still have a full year ahead of us, and so many things can happen, worst, but we all gonna take it easy and have the patience to survived and then eventually their is light at the end of the tunnel as we will see that bullish cycle in 2024-2025.
1831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next bitcoin halving Countdown on: December 18, 2022, 06:18:31 AM
As for the impact on the price? Obviously it is the catalyst for the next bull run.

But it is still very far, there could be black swan events that can push the market in the current bearish trend. Our lowest low is $15,500 so possible that it could be the bottom for this bear cycle or we might see another crash to $10,000-$13,000.

And with that, we will need a lot of patience as its around 14-16 months till the next block halving.
1832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your mood cant chage a game results on: December 17, 2022, 08:24:39 PM
I see ital the time around me.  Repsonses like judt be positive and barcelona will win
Dont be negative so canelo win

Or least put it this way, don't bring back luck to your team and to your boxer, we just need to be positive.

Think about it if your thought has some  ability to change external things then peope will crash in a plane every day due to many people  with panic attacks who are 100% sure that the plane is going to crash.

Don't want to hear people dying, but let's put your example in gamble, what if you have the ability to change the outcome of let's say in slot machine that every time to spin, you can win huge amount of money, that will be great right? However, this is just fantasy, no amount of "magic" trick can influence the outcome of slot machine or any other sports that we are betting.

1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 17, 2022, 08:07:36 PM
It's just going to be a few months away. I think there's no charity involved in this but I'm sure with what he said, whether it's said or not that this exhibition match is for charity.
He's always too generous to give a portion of it to his townsmen, he's got a lot of houses built already out of his pocket and he said that he's not going to stop but will continue this that he has started.
So this becomes the trend now, on which retired boxers are making and deal off with exhibition matches? Some might not really be that caring at all because its peoples choice whether they would watch and support

it or would be just totally be saying "meh" into their minds. As for fan of Pacquiao then you would be liking him to see up in the ring but since he's fighting off on something which isnt really in his level
then you could already expect on what would be the result and that what makes these fights arent interesting anymore.

Charitable actions or something like are very common but what i do matter most is that i should really be at least entertained if i do see a fight or match.
Yeah, a trend that has started out with the Paul Brothers that they do challenge other sports athlete and fighters to fight them into an exhibition matches.
There's big money on it and they're able to make a lot of it because the fans are interested with their matches and they have seen how profitable it is, so, other professionals are also doing it.

This exhibition matches that the Paul brothers has started is so big right now that they have their own promotions already to handle their fight.

So no longer the youtube sensation, they are fighting and make tons of money, they also mentioned that they also wanted to be a boxer or UFC promoter someday. They become business minded too.

But there are hardcore fans of boxing, who may not like this kind of exhibitions matches for sure because some of the fights could be rigged or simply mismatch and of course close to scamming fans of their money because it's not a real fight.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 17, 2022, 11:03:16 AM
Just to let everyone knows that Ryan will not go to on a tune up fight before a Tank Davis clash.

He will rather have to wait for Davis to win against Hector Garcia then him waiting for the next 2-3 months next year. It could be a advantage or disadvantage for Ryan Garcia, advantage as he could focus and train just for Davis in that span of time. Or disadvantage because of ring rust  because it is close to a year without him fighting.

I think it doesn't matter for Ryan. But one thing that will go for him is that the time, he will have a lot of it to train that hard because this is a huge fight and his body going to the period of getting in 136 lbs much longer, and then he will be fresh during the May fight.

As for Davis he will have to go to a battle and who knows, maybe he will be soften by Hector Garcia in their fight and give Davis a very difficult fight.

All in all, we just wanted to see this huge fight next year and no more delays.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto Exchange For Altcoins? on: December 16, 2022, 09:44:29 PM
Binance is my recommendation, the exchange is very user-friendly and accepts many local currencies, unlike other exchanges that are limited.
You can always use a centralized exchange to buy your favorite coin provided you withdraw the coins from the exchange to your personal wallet.
OP is looking for an altcoin that is not listed on Binance, a possible altcoins that will pump unexpectedly which I think is really hard to find. You can use small exchange or even DEX for this one because usually those potential token started from a small exchanges first and when they finally have the opportunity to rise, they will grab it. Just be careful with the small tokens though, they usually ended up as a scam token so choose wisely.

I don't have any name exchange on my mind because I don't trade this kind of altcoins though.

But it seems that many has suggested where to buy this small cap coins, hopefully the OP knows that risk involved with this kind of coins and also the exchanges that he is going to sell. Not saying that there is a possibility of small to medium tier exchanges shutting down, but we have seen as big as FTX collapsing. And true, this kind of coins are more attracted to pump and dump groups so another thing that the OP will have to watch as well.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 16, 2022, 09:07:36 PM
These words from boxers on what they'll do are just actually words from them giving answers to what has been asked to them.

But when in actuality, it's going to be not what they are able to say. It's a different world when they're inside the ring and the situation varies from the stance of his and his opponent and that's why those are just like their plans.

And the plans that they've made and said, don't go accordingly.
Probably that was his plan in the beginning, but when he taste the power of Inoue, all plan was throw out of the window and so he goes on the survival moved. And then he just run around trying to avoid that power punches. But the accumulation throughout the first 10 rounds might be enough for Butler because once he goes down in round 11th it was clearly over.

So props for Donaire for going out toe to toe with Inoue but the gamble didn't pay off as he was knock out in just 2 rounds.
Well, plans are just plans until it's executed.

And on Butler's part, yeah maybe that's really a plan for him but he didn't thought on how things will be changed based on what he has done. So, that's why words will just be words not until they've proved it.

At the earliest, it's also like a motivator to them so that they won't belittle themselves even before the match.

Yes, there has always been a plan for this boxers in the beginning, whether they will executed it is a different story.

And it seem the corner of Butler was satisfied on what he is doing so he just go one with that, just prevent himself getting hit and then just throw counter with Inoue is coming. But still though, him countering Inoue is worst because he open himself to counter from Inoue as Naoya has also a quick hands that's why when Butler throws, he immediately goes to the body as well. So far, there is no blue print to beat Inoue, unfortunately.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Mercito Gesta (January) on: December 16, 2022, 02:15:12 PM
Advantage will be in Garcia of course, I haven't heard Mercito Gesta and I've seen that he has some losses already unlike Garcia he is undefeated it could be either a chance for fame to Gesta but for Garcia it could be just another match. Ryan Garcia is really a good puncher with a really fast hands I am sure that there's gonna have a knock out in this match but let's just see what's gonna happen.

Yes, maybe if you are not a Filipino, then you might not heard of Gesta before, but he was really good when he was in his prime, but it was like 5 years ago and he is a good to decent boxer. He fought Jorge Linares, and lost to him and I think this is for the belt, although not the regular one.

Definitely, Ryan Garcia will have the advantage and could go for a killer knockout. But don't count Gesta yet, maybe he will go toe to toe and try to show that he can still fight and try for a upset.
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 16, 2022, 01:45:43 PM

I haven't heard the news that Nonito Donaire will compete for the WBC belt. But in any case that Inoue vacated all the belt, obviously it will be open and Nonito once held that belt and probably he is still the number 1 contender not just for WBC or even for the other belts that Inoue held before.

So does make sense if the governing body will allow Nonito to fight for the belt right away and I can't remember if Nonito held either any belts, how many times he become a bantamweight champion and he could be the oldest.

I think Nonito Donaire now got his eyes targeted on a major world title match and this is the ARTICLE well, despite his major knockout lost to the monster Naoya Inoue that is not given him any doubt to himself, and I think that is the good quality of most Filipino's it is hard for them to learn how to give up, and right now Nonito Donaire in the article said that he is targeting Roman Gonzalez and Juan Franciso Estrada,

Ok, I remember now, yes, I read that he wants to target the winner of Roman Gonzalez and Juan Francisco Estrada, just the question if he can make 115 lbs because Nonito is a tall fighter for that weight division and he is not getting any younger so it might affect his body if he go that low.

But if he targets his natural weight class which is bantamweight, then this could be a good decision for him since Inoue has left this division already.

Could be challenge, but I think he could beat the majority of rank fighters here if not beaten by him already.
1839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There Any Crypto Casino With An In-built Mini Crypto Exchange? on: December 15, 2022, 09:41:03 PM
But this could make their platform complicate things if they include this one? I think it's not worth for them if they are going to include as it might add another overhead cost for them.

Majority of them have like the features wherein you can "exchange" it to dollar value when you play like slot so you can see how much money you still have when playing and then immediately convert it back when the value loses. So when at the start you have x amount of BTC, then obviously if you losses some on the dollar value then the value of BTC also goes down for you.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Better Ways To Manage Energy Consumption For Casino Centers. on: December 15, 2022, 09:26:49 PM

It is important to keep in mind that slot machines run on a normal household 120 Volt AC grounded outlet. As great as this sounds, one has to find good ways to optimize the electricity consumption. One has to properly monitor, track and report the things that negatively affect energy usage for both small and large area per square meter centers.
One must know how to use real-time data on billing methods, power quality and operating history to track maintenance needs and to help others(possibly staffs) around understand the significance of being energy-efficient.

To stay afloat in the casino business or any business of sort these days, it is important one has total control over electricity usage. Since energy demand for this resource has drastically increased, so has the cost of getting it and maintaining equipments because the faulty ones can impact the electricity costs too. One of the greatest mistake a business owner can make is to allow efficiency come at the cost of productivity.

What are some better ways to manage energy consumption for casinos in these economic recession times?

https://www.usaonlinecasino.com/blog/optimizing-electrical-consumption-in-casinos/amp/

Casino doesn't care about their energy consumption because they can foot the bills as it is a billion dollar industry. And they can't cut cost either, of course they are hit during the pandemic era, but now almost all of them are open now and they have to find ways to make money as they are business entity. So they will have to operate 24x7 again without thinking on how small or big or if they need to cut cost. And if ever they need to cut their bills, electricity will be the last one in their mind as this is very important for them. For us playing at home, it's just normal as electric consumption as well. You consume electricity when you open your PC or laptop if it is plug.
