1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Twitter can make impact in the BTC world? on: October 03, 2021, 07:59:36 PM
Consider the following scenario: there are 350 million monthly active Twitter users, and they can all send BTC to one another.
I still feel pretty overwhelmed by this news despite having had a whole day to absorb it.
The legacy-system-free monetary exchange now allows millions upon millions of people to do business.

What impact are you predicting for us in the future?
The moment i entered the BTCitcoin space in the early days, the scenario i had in my mind is that i could literally conduct business with everyone in the world without any restrictions and that did not change till now. If Twitter allows you to send micro transactions it is well and good as it will attract new users to the cryptocurrency space and hopefully they will learn about the broader aspect of the market rather than limiting themselves thinking of the market as a means to earn money.

Well, in Thiago Santos case he is really a counter puncher, that is why he is waiting for Walker to strike, not an ideal style in MMA, but if this could be boxing then this could be a different story, in regards to the coach I am just speculating things, well Johnny Walker has changed his style because he now has John Kavanagh as his coach, I think there is a huge connection between the two, but as I said this is all speculation, on what has to change Walker's fighting style.
Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker are aggressive fighters who look for a knockout with every punch they throw and not counter punchers, but in this fight there were aware of their reputation and both were cautious and so is the reason it was a boring fight even though i expected to have some fireworks and Johnny Walker who usually starts aggressive was a shell of his old self and the new coaching camp did not help him one bit.

Both Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker were not willing to take any risk and we saw a fight that we could forget in no time.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: October 03, 2021, 06:38:32 PM
Usyk will have a game plan but I have no doubt when Fury lands a few punches his agenda will change and he will try to adapt to cope with Fury. Fury will do to Usyk what Usyk did to Joshua by landing a few punches in the first round and then unsettling the opponent. In some way I would like to see Fury vs Joshua fight for the unification of all the belts but so far Usyk has earned the right to be there in the ring with Fury but Wilder and Joshua will still be wanting to write their own history and have a say.
I would like to see Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk battle them out rather than want to see Anthony Joshua now after a defeat to Usyk and the reason is because Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are technical boxers and i want to see them battle it out and they are undefeated. It may to spike the interest of causal fans but i find that fight intriguing.
1824  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance exchange KYC update on: October 03, 2021, 05:39:21 PM
Finally it looks like binance exchange is planning to compulsory KYC verification?  Shocked I saw something like this on their platform yesterday, is this the end for those who still trade and withdraw without KYC verification? This is coming around 15 October or 19 🤔 I can't remember the date again, anyone aware of this?
Yes finally Binance is asking us to compulsorily verify to continue trading and i reluctantly had to verify them because they asked me to withdraw the coins if i am not willing to verify my account and since i am trading with them for a long time and with the amount of liquidity they have.

The good part is that they verified my account within minutes after filling up the form and submitting my passport, but the sad part is they wanted my selfie which i am not a big fan.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 03, 2021, 03:33:26 PM
Punjab Kings just blew their opportunity to qualify and they need to win the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore to stand a chance to get qualified and they blew up at the last moment. Today Kolkata Knight Riders is looking for a win and by the way the match is going Sunrisers Hyderabad is giving them the opportunity in a golden platter as they are struggling for 110 for the loss of 8 wickets and just 2 balls left.
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the NFT hype? on: October 02, 2021, 11:55:40 PM
~
Continue or not we will see the development of NFT next year. So far, the NFT program has been very successful in the cryptocurrency space and has even attracted the interest of many parties, such as artists. If in the future the NFT project is still able to develop as it is today, then in the future I think the NFT hype will continue to expand.
I was a skeptic when the hype started, but once i started following some projects i changed my opinion because we are seeing new users in the cryptocurrency space who have not even purchased any other cryptocurrency in the NFT market simply because they are crazy about that aspect and learning new things.

Now the arts part is in full flow and now we are seeing virtual reality based NFT and we will see P2E games and many more in the coming years.
1827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Binance need kyc to do any trading? on: October 02, 2021, 10:52:24 PM

Binance US for sure they are also asking for a basic KYC, if you’re good with that you can easily fill it and enjoy the Binance services.
They are not asking to verify your account for US customers but for everyone i believe. I was trading with them from the start and my monthly volume i usually would adjust within their limits to avoid their KYC but two days back they asked me to verify the account if i want to continue trading or asked me to withdraw the coins, basically i was asked to verify my account to continue trading or move out.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: October 02, 2021, 10:10:35 PM
Split decision win for Michael Page and Lima was not happy with judges, and there are talks of trilogy fight happening in future.
I am also not happy with the decision but i was surprised with the way in which Michael Page was able to control the fight like he wanted and his wrist control was really good and he was able to avoid the heavy kicks of Douglas Lima for majority of the fight and he learned his lessons from the first fight as he was always fighting from the outside and now the trilogy is inevitable.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano run $200 on: October 02, 2021, 09:21:35 PM
~
I also don't understand what OP is saying but if it was really about Cardano hitting $200 soon, that was a crazy dream. Hitting even a $1 to $3 requires a huge market cap and some hype to make awareness to coin. It will struggle to reach $5 even on a bull market.
OP has misunderstood things here, he is talking about another project with the same name as Cardano which is Cardano Smart Link (ADAL) which is a separate project on its on and they were forced to stop the signature campaign because they were asked to stop using Cardano in their name and hence they will be renaming the project and will be launching once again as far as i understand.

When it comes to the valuation, it is too soon so say anything about Cardano, i have seen projects who valued at a few dollars reaching $100 without much reason, so no comments on that .
1830  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Possible BTC Future by Gavin Andresen on: October 02, 2021, 07:33:27 PM
Just lately, Gavin Andresen, the person to whom Satoshi entrusted Bitcoin before he left, wrote an article about the future of Bitcoin. Gavin published it on his website, gavinandresen.ninja, around a week ago.

In the article, he predicted that the network will come to an end in 2061. But not before the price would reach as high as $6,000,000.
Do you think this is possible?
That is not a prediction, he is just trolling the way in which BTCitcoin is moving and have you read the entire article Tongue. My criticism is that he could not predict what would happen to the cryptocurrency market in a short period of time and you think he really predicted what will happen 40 years later  Cheesy. I am not sure what he is doing now a days but he is writing articles and having a bit of fun.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Cash was no scam. on: October 02, 2021, 05:50:13 PM
Litecoin Cash never was a scam.

Let me say it again: Litecoin Cash was no scam!
I am hearing about this project for the first time and it is a subtle advertisement, so what i would like to know is who termed them as a scam and what made you to come out and proclaim that it is not a scam. Are you one of the founding members of the project. I thought the Litecoin team would send legal notice for using their name as recently some of the projects sent legal notice for some of the new projects for using their name.

A very good display of batting and now bowling from Indian Women cricketers because I was not expecting performance like this from these ladies specially with pink ball and day/night match but these women done something special against the all odds.
I would personally like to see more Test matches from Woman and this match is a draw because weather played a major role in this match and it is sad that they are only playing one Test in this tour and more over Woman Test matches are 4 days long unlike the men's version, so there is no way we would see a result in this match as there is only one day left and i would be surprised if any of the team plays a second innings.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 02, 2021, 12:20:04 PM
Since Delhi lost to KKR in the previous match, they will definitely want to win today's match against Mumbai. If Mumbai can win today's match then their dream of going to the next round will survive. So it will not be easy for Delhi to win this match.
So this is a do or die match for Mumbai, is that what you are telling. Delhi Capitals just need 130 runs to win the match as Mumbai Indians once again failed as a batting unit. Mumbai Indians have a good bowling unit but with consistent low scores like these the bowlers cannot help them all the time.

Delhi lost their first wicket but if they bat sensibly they can win easily.

1834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest SCAM from YOBIT Exchange in ICO today ! on: October 01, 2021, 11:03:36 PM
Yobit Scam 99% of their investors today when they realeased the new ICO
today it was at least X10 LOST peoples get the ICO at 0.001 BTC and less then
3 seconds the price drop to 0.0001 BTC this ICO made in DEFI market
Why would anyone trust an exchange who is known to launch scam coins for the purpose of pump and dump and they usually target new users in the market and i am stunned to see that the still continue their merry ways without any issues and despite having scam accusations and shady ICO users always flock to these shady exchanges dreaming that they could make money in a short period of time.
1835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robbery on: October 01, 2021, 10:14:47 PM
~
I have had reports of people complaining of their lost wallets. some where asked to provide the pass codes of their wallets forcefully at gun point. In my locality now this is the modern age robbery. People are much aware about bitcoin and are using this means to steal from innocent bitcoin enthusiasts. My friend was a victim couple of days ago as she was robbed of her valuables and the robbers went further to ask for her blockchain password which she fearfully provided and immediately her bitcoin was wiped away from her wallet. This is so scary and threatening to bitcoin enthusiasts.
What i do not understand is that how the robbers are aware that your friend is holding cryptocurrency to hold them at gun point and ask for the blockchain password. Even if you are telling is true you can run away with the money without providing further verification like 2 FA before withdrawing.

These things happen if you are foolish enough to advertise your cryptocurrency investment in social media so that the robbers will target you. Just stop those stupid actions and have some common sense if you think that criminals will target you.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador 🇸🇻 Mines First Bitcoin With Volcanic Energy 🌋 on: October 01, 2021, 09:12:53 PM
My first impression when reading the headline of this news was:
OMG! 😱 Bukele did it! He is a president determined to continue with his plan to make the country of El Salvador the first country to own bitcoin and he goes with everything.
He studied it with his volcanic energy specialists, installed his equipment and already mined his first bitcoin.
It looks like they already have the technology to tap the volcanic energy and convert the steam energy to produce electricity. What i was not aware is that El Salvador has these sensitive areas where they have a constant gush of volcanic activity and now what they are trying to showcase is that they are mining with renewable energy. I searched online but i could not see any of these details rather than a tweet.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 01, 2021, 07:01:26 PM
Eventually, the PBKS team was able to win against KKR. KKR lost this match due to their bowling in today's match. I don't understand why Shakib Al Hasan is not being given a place in the squad even after being in the team. Narine is not performing as expected. Southee bowled very poorly today. Management should give Shakib a chance.
What i see with some of the teams that are struggling is that they are not able to pick the right combination of players. Chennai is playing the same team that they played last year and when they fielded the same team this year, i thought they would fail miserably but they were able to surprise me as they are performing really well and when it comes to Shakib Al Hasan, he should be in any team and i am not sure why they are not picking him in the playing eleven.
1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any hope for BitcoinCash? on: October 01, 2021, 05:33:33 PM
Do you think there is any hope for BitcoinCash?  Is it still one of the major alts that will pump?  Will it reach previous all time highs?
If you are looking for the valuation, it depends upon how BTCitcoin market will respond as all the forks will move along with the way BTCitcoin market will perform. When it comes to the development side of things i am not following any of the forks and there is nothing much interesting going on as well. One thing is that i will trust the BTCitcoin forks more than the other alts in the market.
1839  Economy / Speculation / Re: The arrival of new people in the world of cryptocurrency is really fun on: September 30, 2021, 05:20:23 PM

Unfortunately even in the non-crypto space people will try and take advantage of you when you are still fresh, everyone in the crypto space today have had different experience to tell too, there will always be people who want to do bad regardless, despite this more people are willing to give crypto a try.
The difference between any other traditional investment and cryptocurrency is that, you can go to any fund manager and they will help you in investing in your desired product or stock but here is in the cryptocurrency market you need to do everything online on your own and there is no fund manager that could help you and there are dozens of scammers lurking in the online space to impersonate project team and scam your money.

The best option for any user is to understand the risk before investing in each project, then you need to look after the scammers and make sure you do not get scammed.
1840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi about to show up? on: September 29, 2021, 08:50:25 PM
We dont even know if he's still alive or satoshi is a single person or a group of people. So no one really knows about showing up because this is something that remains to be mysterious after all these years.
Satoshi is a single person and once he published the whitepaper and after launching the first version of BTCitcoin many OG helped him in improving the software. The idea that he was a group is just bull shit, Satoshi did register the initial websites including the first SMF forum in the old domain and once he left, he handed over everything to Gavin Andresen and other users here. If it was a group they would have continued handling everything rather than giving everything to the users who were active here.
