Since I brought it up, I'll be happy to change the subject back to WO'ing bitcoin.

Let's see what's happening in the bitcoin marke--- ok still nothing.  Cool

Btw, who sold sub $10K ?
1862  Economy / Speculation / Re: [WO] Misrepresentations in re China on: September 06, 2020, 06:41:31 PM
I think it's because in the rest of the world (with minor exceptions) covid19 numbers are still rising, while china forcefully controlled the spreading rate.
It's a valid and healthy option, because china stopped everyday life to almost zero, until the virus didn't find new hosts. Economically risky, but it seems to work out.

It is statistically impossible to *not* have renewed viral transmission/exposure once social distancing measures are relaxed and people start interacting face-to-face again.
1863  Economy / Speculation / Re: [WO] Misrepresentations in re China on: September 06, 2020, 06:23:47 PM
In WO, in in my own P&S thread, and elsewhere, I have been shouting from the rooftops since March that people should stop panicking.  (Though there is something to panic about:  Impending extreme economic hardship, starvation, and unlimited tyranny...  I fear hunger more than I fear Covid!)  I saw that the self-destructive mass reaction was bad; so did many others, IIRC (?) including you.  If people don’t heed sound reason, I don’t see what the Chinese have to do with it—unless the Chinese somehow control other peoples’ governments, mainstream media, and masses of ordinary people who are blindly terrified into submission.

I think we agree.

My point was simply that the Covid-19 virus was not the second coming of the plague that every govt around the world *except China's* pretends it to be. The recent photos of them enjoying life almost to pre-Covid level days is the proof. And who would know better than the country where the virus originated in the first place, and with 1.4B people has the most to lose?

Why the hell is the rest of the world still in lockdown mode? This is fkn ridiculous.
1864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2020, 06:08:10 PM
Still a lot to learn about Covid19 but the virus itself quite sure isn't faked, unlike some are confidently spreading that Covid "isn't real"...

But that's the rub. Most people that take issue are denying the risk level that the MSM and govt is pushing, not that Covid-19 "isn't real" or "doesn't exist". I'm quite sure that it does exist.

But those people, the majority, get labeled as "conspiracy theorists" or "Covid deniers" and get thrown in with the wackos anyway.  Roll Eyes
1865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2020, 06:01:24 PM
Also, are you sure about 99% of covid related deaths were over the age of 65? Source?

Go look it up, all the data is there on the CDC's own website.

Also fun fact: The numbers of deaths in the 94% group? Pretty much right in line with # of deaths in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, etc.

is 99% already not more than enough to be considered a majority?

Apparently not to those that want to fear and treat Covid-19 as the second coming of the plague.
1866  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2020, 05:47:03 PM
Coronavirus Cases: 27,202,829. Deaths: 885,764. Recovered: 19,288,016.

So by the time i guess it's safe to say that covid's lethality is higher than the flu's.

According to the CDC's own website data for the U.S., 94% of Covid-19 deaths had comorbities with some other cause of death (e.g., flu, pneumonia, heart disease, diabetes, organ failure, heart attack, blunt force trama, cancer, etc.).

Only 6% of related Covid-19 deaths were tagged as "Covid only" as the cause (11,569 people in the U.S.).

Also, 99% of Covid-related deaths were over the age of 65. The majority were 70+.
1867  Economy / Speculation / Re: [WO] Misrepresentations in re China on: September 06, 2020, 03:28:08 PM
It does not explain why you would lie about the images before.  That is an important question.
I didn't lie. I thought those images were from the present. I posted follow up ones from now, 2020.

Also, as a separate issue, your argument is nonsensical.  Even if all of these images (including the ones from 2017) were from the present, it doesn’t show that “They are literally laughing at the stupidity of rest of the world rn”—unless you suggest that everybody who ever enjoys himself over beer must be celebrating at others’ misfortune.

Are beer festivals ipso facto evil?  Or would the Chinese be disallowed from all ordinary pleasures because people in other countries decided to act like headless chickens?  Please clarify.

Not nonsensical, no.

With a population of 1.4 billion people, and the epicenter of the outbreak, they went back to "business as usual" the fastest of any other country, and clearly have no more fear of Covid-19, including second, third, forth waves, reinfections, etc. The majority there clearly do not care to wear masks in crowds anymore.

Why? Because they (and their govt) know the truth... that Covid-19 is not really that big of a threat.

The rest of the world gets to "be disallowed from all ordinary pleasures" and continue to be shut down, while the Chinese laugh at the rest of the world's naivety and ignorance while they party and have a fun, normal existence.

There is one defi called Sushi. The founder dumped all his coins and the market was down 70% in few hours LOL. CZ seems greedy.
People want to get meal with tasty and delicious tokens, Sushi, and pasta, hotdog, pizza. A mix of them is a scam cake. Well done!

Hotdog: https://defimarketcap.io/token/0xc9e5e923df73caa96e6cba4cb9a16574610ccd06
Pizza: https://defimarketcap.io/token/0x8047697f1d162c20cb1e40bc7fd0c44f38a1aece
Pasta: https://defimarketcap.io/token/0xe92346d9369fe03b735ed9bdeb6bdc2591b8227e

Next can be meat, beef, fish, salmon, etc. 🥱

The scam trend reminds me about Bitcoin Gold, Silver, Diamond, Copper, Red, etc.  Huh

Potcoin was first, from a long time ago...
1869  Economy / Speculation / Re: [WO] Misrepresentations in re China on: September 06, 2020, 02:50:06 PM
Moreover, your images from 2017 are clearly misrepresented as “meanwhile”, “rn [right now]”, i.e. from the present.  Why would you do this?  Dishonest.

Sorry, here ya go...

1870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2020, 02:23:45 PM
Meanwhile in China, the epicenter of where the entire world Covid shitshow started....

"Suckers!" They are literally laughing at the stupidity of rest of the world rn. Such risk and panic.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
1871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2020, 11:21:59 PM
Giving someone else your crypto to lock up as collateral for a loan, or to earn interest, is complete antithesis to Satoshi's idea of "be your own bank."

DeFi is just recreating the problems of the current financial world, just with lower barriers of entry. Derivatives on top of derivatives, fractional reserves, margin calls and exit scams with no legal means of recovery will be par for the course.
1872  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2020, 04:04:19 PM
Meanwhile, bitcoin reserves held in all exchanges continues to decrease rapidly. Even after the $12K hits, the trend sharpened. Since March we have 15% decrease. With this pace in 3 years theoretically there will be close to 0 bitcoins on the exchanges. Just imagine what will happen with the price then  Shocked Prhoudhon troll can try to find proofs now how the price over 10K is not sustainable lol

Awesome, I hope to see that trend continue. Shorting will become more difficult, short squeezes more barty and extreme.  Wink
1873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2020, 12:59:00 PM
Look at that relentless douchebaggery trying hard to get sub $10k today.

And people still wanna say this market isn't manipulated?

The only reason this whale entity can do that is no one else his size is even in this market, and hasn't been for months now.

Still no signs that the big boys have come to play "who's KOM now."
1874  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2020, 09:15:49 PM
we will climb back to $11k soonish. and then it is decision time. we will either go through this barrier and all is good or we will get rejected. if we get rejected we will see 9k and in worst case 8k, but that is the very bearish case. I want to accumulate more, that is why I am even considering those scenarios..

Worst case $8k? Have you even confirmed your math and science facts? We will be hitting $3k again for certain. Everyone's confirmed it.

Ha ha ha, so Mr. Dave "stonks only go up" Portnoy got his ass handed to him today.

Ha ha ha, the idiot was down $500K as of this morning, probably even more by now.

And to think he was chiding the bitcoin market over his paltry $25K loss. What a fkn loser.

Also, you can clearly see what a shill he is for the stonk market.
1876  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2020, 06:13:57 PM
Seeming correlation with the stonks are most disturbing but i guess expected. Speculators gonna speculate. It's going to take some blood to decouple from

Well it's kinda weird, because I've also seen some movements that correlate with PMs too.

I have no idea what those bot algos are smoking.
1877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2020, 02:06:16 PM
Here is my latest Price Orientation Oscillation Prediction analysis. I hope some find it helpful. Consistent with the mathematical trend of the last ~3 years, this looks like another great price point to strongly short with high leverage. I have confirmed this analysis with the strongest science available so far.

confirmed

I ONLY visit the WO thread on bitcointalk.org. I always have a tab open on WO thread. If they delete WO thread, they delete bitcointalk.org for me. WO members are the real bitcoiners. No fake shit and bullshit like on reddit and twitter. I don't read this WO thread to post for some merit, otherwise I could have been Legendary a long time ago. Been on this site since 2011, only registered in 2013. Who gives a fuck about merit when you have bitcoin.

If nobody gives a fuck about merit they would have had no problems with disabling merit on this thread  Roll Eyes

SwayStar123, I read your thread about WO and about your frustration with posting your TA here.

I can't speak for the others, but if your TA is truly backed by something other than wild ass guess then personally I would welcome it here. Perhaps in the past if you were posting bearish TA out of the blue, then it might have been taken as a bit of trolling. A non-biased, no agenda look at TA would likely be most welcome.

Also, many people that hang out on the WO thread are unapologetically pro-BitcoinTM, many OGs and maximalists here. So if you are not in line with that, tread lightly.
