7038 ain't not to bad ...... why wouldn't it be possible ??

You are a 'ray of sunshine' I myself am losing 'faith' with all the FUD in the world about crypto and BTC forks and the rest...

I'll be ecstatic if/when the BTC price could get back to $6,500 BTC a bit after Jan 1st, 2019 ...at the way things are going...

I like 'your' version of the future better, however ..knock wood...

I'm kinda wondering if "old" participants are going to get paid...maybe the 'tap' is drying up and he is just wrapping the campaign up...I mean

11-14% drop in BTC price can't be helping

truth be told most if not all my miners from 2015 and 2016 were called 'computers' on the invoices..I paid NADA...if they go back and look at that I'd owe

1885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 17, 2018, 04:20:41 AM
Complete speculation but...

I believe that Craig Wright signed a very large monetary deal with some investors after giving them the impression that he was Satoshi and that he could not release his BTC until 2020.

Whatever deal this is, he is desperate to get as many bitcoins as he can before then. He tried to make BCH the "real bitcoin" but that didn't work...so now just make up some fear about Segwit the he will "reveal in 2019" to drive down the price so he can get as many coins as possible to fulfill his part of the deal. Looks like he needs the price to drop to around $1k to be able to pull that off. Not going to happen.

There is no FUD on segwit, the threat is real. Perhaps do some reading on the subject?

Not back to this topic?

Remember anunymint had a hard-on for this baloney topic, and such topic played here for at least a couple of weeks?

We've seen the topic here, and you want to play around with that mostly nonsense FUD spreading topic some more?

It is unlikely that he is part of the Satoshi Group...as it is known...lying and scrambling to cover your megalomanic lies/bets would be a logical way to try

and FUDGE your way into fame or in his case infamy... whatever works to stoke the 'megalomania' don't  ya know Smiley But again him being part of a Satoshi group

1 out of 20. Him actually coming up with and being Satoshi on his own 1 in 100,000. IMHO. Whatever I got to admit Craig Wright never can seem to get past his

own ego or compromise on any topic of any kind...if he can have a good spat and mouth off..so again IMHO, megalomania is his curse indeed...

1886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 17, 2018, 04:14:01 AM
the catch is either BTC is going to eventually come back ..even if only at 5% or 10% a year as more a 'normal' investment (ie sideways like gold maybe even)

or we are toast...I mean kaput...an centralized coins take up the void in the future and 'banker's rule' again Sad

So I HODL and 'attic mine" (sell crap in the attic on eBay I normally would die with anyway ...and xfer to BTC)

home mining is dead...I have no 'balls' for big equipment and data hall purchases anymore (crypto shell-shocked I am, don't ya know) Sad

ASSUMING that these BTC prices are LOW...the above makes a 'world of sense' especially if BTC goes back above 10k someday...I will look like a genius...Smiley

my alternate reality is below:

if I stop believing that, I shall then go to my backup plan of 'panicking like a 4-year-old being sent so pre-school on the bus' and SELL, SELL, SELL...trampling

women, children, and puppies on my way to abandoning ship..Sad Feels like for the last 4 months I've been re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic anyway,

with this sideways price current...figures, there might be an Iceberg, just to 'liven up my life' Sad

I suspect anything below 4k BTC is my 'snapping point' Sad Actually to be clear anything below 4k IS my 'freak out' point....I'd dump 1/2 my stash for sure then.

(we who run away also serve humanity...and who step up to repopulate the tribe when all the 'hero's die'...hey....it's an angle)

IF all crypto goes tulips...I have a GOT (go to hell plan) to become a 'minimalist' and get myself one of those 'tiny homes' and live with a lot less...

(seems prudent in that before BTC and crypto ..that was pretty much likely going to be my previous crypto lifestyle...so hell, it will be one big circle then...embrace the

poverty) Smiley

Circulating supply is increasing day by day.

Lisk inflation is relatively small and falling. The main problem is crypto wide bear market, in relative terms Lisk is doing OK.

As stated before. I'm underwater at $1.91 USD...I am in much better shape with the 3/4ths remainder I got at the ICO prices...but still reality is

I got stuff high, so all mashed together anything under $1.91 I'm losing money at that point...

As an aside is there not already a 10% tariff on all China goods...or is that something coming down the pike by the Trump Administration in the coming months?

or heck? Is it dead because of the flip to the Democrats in the U.S. House or some other reason?

thanks

Technically if you're importing it's your responsibility to submit proper paperwork not FedEx. I would gather the information on the ruling they used at time of import to the one they're attempting to collect on. Things to consider are: if you mine as a licenced business and how much you use FedEx.

So any order of any amount (1) miner from outside the USA...they can come back to you and tell you the import tax (if any) you should pay was incorrect and come after you

for a different amount all the way back till 2015? What I mean is the very 'act' of buying something from overseas (China) that is the inevitable outcome? Even if Fed Ex

or UPS or the US Gov't has it wrong from back in the day?

Stop worrying about whether Craig might have access to Satoshi’s keys.

He doesn’t.

This is all just a play act.  Stop buying into the ridiculous story time.

If he had a single key from Satoshi's blocks he would sign "BCH SV FTW" message, and bury Jihan Wu.

Does anyone think he would not use such a weapon? The fact he did not do it is yet another proof he is 100% fake.

my worry is that he is from the original 'supposed' satoshi group of dave kleiman, hall finney and craig wright

and there really is a 'trust' of coin he has access to on 1/1/2020...as last person alive...and he has such we are well and truly f*cked.

only a 1 out of 20 chance IMHO, but the stuff crypto nightmares are made of Sad

Or "He ... still actually has a bunch of mining capacity hidden away somewhere."

Oh. Would you look at that. Turns out that he did.

Believe it when we see it.

How's 2/3 of the network - up from considerable minority days ago.

https://cash.coin.dance/blocks/today

Oh too late! You didn't close your eyes fast enough.

There is none so blind as he who refuses to see.

Yep.  There can be a flash of hashpower, and then a question whether the hashpower is sustainable, so even if you can answer questions of ready and able to deploy in the affirmative, you may not be able to answer the questions about willing to deploy until you see the hardfork actually occur.. .that is if such hardfork actually does take place.

So, I am not going to treat a maybe and a perhaps as if it already has happened when it has not happened, yet.  You can also tell me that I am wrong.. blah blah blah... but that is just the way I roll in terms of not assigning 100% to events that might only be 75% or 85% or 95%, if we are going to give them some benefit of the doubt that they really are going to do what they say they are going to do.

yep.....looks like Craig Wright has gotten his way and will soon be in control of Bitcoin Cash after taking over more than 51% of the BCH network.

this is not gonna end well..press wise...fud wise...nor crypto wise Sad

Dr Craig S Wright @ProfFaustus
Well. In 2017 I said there was a MAJOR issue with SegWit.
In mid to late 2019, I will explain it.
It cannot be removed. It cannot be fixed. It is not solvable and, you cannot work around it.

I am not a man prone to violence, but when I see outright blatant lies like this, I really want to clock that fart-huffer square across his moisturized cheek-bone.

I take some solace in knowing this lunacy will likely come to some sort of conclusion, within the next 48-72 hours.

would be on 1/1/20 access to the Satoshi BTC in HODL as the last man standing..if this group is the Satoshi Group.

So he has NO downside...no matter what the price...so if as a megalomaniac is it better to get credit and have 1/10th the millions being known as the father of BTC

and feed the ego or is it the $$$

my own GOT plan (go to hell plan) if all this BTC and crypto goes tulips by 2020...I will become a 'minimalist' sell everything and get a t9ny house

ok tried 2x to install siacoin wallet

both times the seed comes up ok but I get a black screen under password that will not let me type in anything

when I move my mouse etc away from this blank black area...the seed shows up again also in password area

so unless you have to put the password in as the seed again w/o any feedback just **** guessing as spaces between words I'm stumped...

it will not show anything but a big blank black area under password and if I move the cursor from the mouse over that it shows the seed

but will not allow me to delete or do anything in that area for input in the password area

weird as heck tried 2x w/o any luck

(anyone know a legit paper wallet for siacoin? also I'm stupid (obviously read above) so nothing like a build from github or some such..yech...

so seed is fine..wrote it down....go to put in password under password shows blank black screen put cursor on blank black screen shows seed

does ot allow input....if you move on it asks for password like you put it in ..which you did not (unless the weird seed effect under password comes under effect)

again what am I missing

using  windows 10 64 on an alienware laptop ..again this is 2nd full install with same results

1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 11, 2018, 03:48:32 AM

Again, folk on this thread have 'tried' to explain this to me before. But I'm still befuddled....so just checking...

IF you have a BTC paper wallet from 2015 with your BTC and of course 1st fork of BCH coin on that wallet from the first BCH fork.

AND you never have touched it. It still has its 'virgin' BTC and 'virgin' BCH sitting their patiently trolling you to blow it on girls and travel Sad

Do you have to move your BCH to an individual wallet BCH for this next BCH fork off of above original BTC 2015 paper wallet address chain to work?

Or will it act like all other forks of above with riginal BTC wallet with BCH on it....and you don't have to do zip...moving the BCH off of the legacy address?

Thus, does my original BTC and BCH wallet address from 2015 above act like the original 1st BCH wallet as well and no move is needed?

Hopefully, this clears up what I'm asking. I assume I can leave all this alone and this next BCH fork will be included in the 'varied attachments of many dubious

forked BTC coins' on this BTC paper wallet from 2015 Smiley

I'd think this is the case for all those BTC wallets that have yet to move off BCH off them yet from the very first BCH fork. Thus this next BCH fork

will act the same, without any action on my part. Or my 'paranoia' is justified and this next BCH forked coin off of BCH can only fork off a 'pure' BCH address..thus I'd better move off the BCH.

Probably more than 50% of folk never moving their original BCH off their original BTC...that would be a lot less of this BCH forked coin in the world if the fork is off of a generated BCH wallet address only!

Hopefully, what I'm asking makes sense...but use small words and pictures....for clarity...I seem to be getting 'dimmer' with age, dont' ya know. ...not that I'm paranoid..it is just that I'm very, very, paranoid. Smiley

(could be worse, I could work for NASA and screw up the technical communications as I did with previous posts on this thread to me on this and everyone dies.eaaaak!..best to grovel and just ask again Sad

thank you for your patience on this Smiley

I will labor to be less of an 'idiot' in the future Smiley

your question is good.  please keep asking until you are satisfied.

You do not need to do anything.  If you have your private keys you have your coins.  There is only ONE BitCoin Wink

However Seg wit coins, lightning network tokens and now DSV are not secure ECONOMICALLY speaking Wink

Well, I never really got a clear answer. I assume?Huh that since the BTC paper wallet I have from 2015 has BTC on it undisturbed...and thus also on that same wallet when emptied has BCH on it undisturbed...

that when/if I move the BTC someplace ..wa la! it becomes my 1st BCH wallet ..thus this coming fork will then show up on such.

otherwise, what is it 51% or some such of BTC wallets have NOT seperated their BCH coins from such by moving and siphoning off the BCH....

if that is not the case....well we will see...just not doing crap....if I have to run around moving all the forked coin off my original BTC chain in order to get any forks of those forks...

well now that is just gettin silly

but as to the above an answer from someone on the above well 'deafening silence'

so that means that the craig wright fork of BCH if it ONLY is off seprated BTC wallets etc...the payout in BCH would probably be what 40% of BTC wallets from back in the day IF PEOPLE CLAIM IT

if not craig wright fork does not have to shoot out a lot of BCH forked coins.

or

it is just obvious what i put above is correct and I don't have to do anything to get the BCH fork of my 'untouched' 2015 BTC wallet with original BCH ...and my question is just stupid to those in the know

*hey, I'm not the sharpest shovel in the shed*

anyway, not doing crap....my 2015 paper wallet of BTC is sitting safe/fat and  happy in the bank safety deposit box.....if I start moving coin around to differenent addresses and such....I could snap like

a dry twig and have a life of romance/travel and adventure....shudder.....sounds like work..best not to be tempted even 'gazing' on those 2015 paper wallets...I could be ....well....'exciting' grrrrrrr....
