Thanks for the advice, I suppose I could just generate a veritable shit ton of addresses, but I was looking for some way to make it automated such that I could walk away for a month and have it still be functional etc etc. I guess at this point bitcoind, SQL, and Python are the best way to go about this.
if you want to go away for a month, relying on bitcoind not to freeze up is the last thing you should do. generating a 'shit ton' of addresses and pulling them from a database would be a MUCH more reliable method if you're going to be away.

A few smaller contracts were just paid out in the remaining btc that was owed.
why are you paying some people and not others? that hardly seems fair at all... shouldn't you be distributing available coins evenly? you've got 8 decimal places to play with. still feeling like i'm last on your list...

i 'plan' to save $100,000 per month in bitcoins, however i currently can't afford that much.
I think you don't understand the definition of a "plan." A plan is something that you intend to do and have reasonable expectations that it will occur (you are able to do it). Otherwise, it's just a "wish." I wasn't asking for people's wishes... you can call it a wish if you like, but for me it is a plan, an intention. i'm just not at that level yet. but if i were making say $200,000 per month, i could definitely see myself putting half of it into bitcoins. i'd like a lot of them please.

Why don't they simply add the Bitcoin address to the donation page?
because to most people, random strings of 33 characters look ugly. most qr codes are pretty ugly too for that matter.

just putting my hand up to say "me too".
my main concern was i was withdrawing to a 'temporary' address which wasn't under my control... so i was worried that when mtgox did finally send it (5 days later) that temporary 'shopping cart' address would have expired and i'd be out of luck.
fortunately on this occasion the temp address was still available to me, however it would be good if mtgox could retry failed transfers to a DIFFERENT address.
second concern was that although my initial email was fairly clear, it seemed like staff didn't really read it properly or investigate on the first instance (if they had, they could have easily seen it was a failed transfer and re-sent it), but instead it took another reply by me to explain again before it was investigated.
i feel like the whole thing could have been dealt with in that first 24 hours instead of 5 days if only they'd taken the time to properly understand my first message instead of firing off what seemed like an unrelated copy+paste response.

smallest donation value so far: $0.16 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) it's so awesome that donating such an amount over the net is possible. i wonder how much the banks would charge to do that. anyway sent mine... they're up to 183 btc now.

I payed my one year contract in August. got a refund in september for an estimation of the BTC I should have mined in that month. No news from that day. I just want to ask this company to be serious and answer me.
i am envious that you at least received a month's refund. i paid over 1800 btc for 20GH/s on Sep 20 and was told it would take 14-21 days to get it all online. well it's been over 2 and half months now and i've so far only received back a few piddly cents. with the low difficulty numbers we've been having, 20 GH/s should have earned at least 600 btc over this time, but probably much more. i think i have been extremely patient during the whole ordeal, but i am honestly really disappointed.

My humble advice is to make better use of one screen so nobody needs to scroll. Make the info text and clock smaller and/or move the clock to the left side of a 2 column table. This will give you room to add other metrics should you choose to pursue more of that 80%. Even a broken bitcoin clock is right every 210000 blocks. thanks, i bunched it up a bit... best i can do with limited time to play with it.

...but wait, there's more.
every time i log in, it reverts to doing everything in USD even though AUD is set as my 'Main currency'.
what's the point of calling it a Main currency if i have to keep manually switching to it?

i just found out that 'classic' is pretty useless now because it doesn't include the funding options... so you still get asked to visit the new site whenever you want to withdraw bitcoins anyway.
second gripe: when you paste an address to withdraw to, it's now more difficult (and annoying) to double-check it because the font is so big you can't see it all at once.

I like the idea, but it's not fun to watch because it doesn't really move much. At the very least, the second hand should move once a block. Personally, I would add something even faster than a block to make movement smooth. For example the integrated probability that a block would have come since the last one, indicating whether it's coming late. Doesn't have to be on the clock disc, just add a bar or anything neat. That would be the kind of thing to stare at when waiting for a transaction to confirm. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) There are lots of other cool things one could add, like color-filling the clock's background with the amount of BTC minted over the total amount ever. The litecoin version will automatically be faster... 4 times faster ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) last night the minute hand was at a quarter after.. not it is almost 20 to 12 http://litecoinclock.com/i noticed today that the litecoin version is no longer displaying anything... what's up?

looking forward to celebrating block 157500 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) where the hour hand on bitcoinclock.com will point straight to the left and tell us we're 75% of the way 'there'.

Single dash? Isn't that supposed to be only for single letter commands? And isn't it /server? It was working with the slash before the update...
nope... -server -daemon -datadir, etc. single dash

By buying in bulk at our set rate you are essentially already getting a discount because the more you buy at an exchange (which is what we do to fulfill your order) the higher the price climbs, while with us the amount you buy does not drive the price up for your order (though it might drive the price up for the next guy ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ). in other words... By buying in bulk you are essentially already getting a discount because your order won't suffer from slippage, unlike at an exchange.
