1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 12, 2022, 08:29:02 PM
Even a single scam accusation will destroy the reputation of the gambling site. Whenever there arises a scam accusation, the gambling site comes forward and brief what has happened. Here series of discussion will take place and the accuser will provide the available proofs. Mostly gambling sites will try to solve each and every accusation, and if something isn't responded then surely the team should've got reason for the same.
1942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you educate petty traders in adopting Bitcoin? on: June 12, 2022, 07:13:59 PM
When I think about adoption, I really don't think traders need to be educated about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Any trader in the traditional market has all the tools, access and instruments needed to educate themselves about cryptocurrencies. If any trade until today has not been curious to make any operation in the crypto market, it is pure disgrace to him, due to lack of curiosity.

The issue of adoption for me today is only relevant in terms of populations with little access to the capital market and no education for traders.
First of all cryptocurrency hasn't reached every nook and corner. Even if we ask to information technology professionals they don't know about cryptocurrency. This means there is a need for even wider spread about the cryptocurrency. To be curious, initially people need to know about it. More tools are available to learn, and the process will happen slowly.

Initially people weren't able to make use of smartphones, slowly people got used to it. Further found difficult using digital payments and now the user friendly applications have made everything possible, even to the people who haven't got basic education. So, with time we can expect people using cryptocurrencies.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 11, 2022, 11:59:57 PM

The performance of West Indies players in ODI format is very irregular. After collecting 305 runs in the first match against Pakistan, they lost all the wickets for only 155 runs in the second match. My guess is that the West Indies will lose the third ODI as usual. The next series of West Indies is against Bangladesh. Although Bangladesh's performance is irregular, Bangladesh's squad is quite experienced in the ODI format. So winning the next series will be very difficult for the West Indies.
WI players looked lost during their performance most of the time. Pakistan won the series very easily.
Of Course Kush dil was the real hero of the series and the captain did the real justice by giving his man of the man award to him.
Today's match will be more interesting . Already Pakistan have won the series. In the first match West Indies gave a big performance, but the same didn't continued during the second ODI. Today evening the third ODI is scheduled, and the climatic conditions were very hot in Pakistan. Even now the Pakistan team performance is much upon very few players, particularly in this series it is Imam and Babar Azam.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 11, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
Sri Lanka scored 59 runs in the last 3 overs, which was completely unexpected. We never imagined that Sri Lanka would bat so well against experienced Australian bowlers.
This surprised me as well. They batted like crap in the first matches while their bowlers performed really well, but it was the complete opposite in this particular match.

Shanaka was brilliant, but there were many useful contributions from several other players which helped them win this one. They really needed the win considering the fact that their country is reeling in economic turmoil these days.
Shanaka scored the most important runs, and from the very beginning of the innings every player have contributed little runs and this has driven Sri Lanka towards a win. Finally the win have made Australia win the series 2-1, if not this could've been a shame of losing all matches in the home ground.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good time for alts on: June 11, 2022, 11:17:41 PM
I personally find this as the right time to make investment on altcoins, when we find the price of bitcoin to be big. There are more potential altcoins in the market. To find the right altcoin is a hard task. This is something like a luck, because everyone won't be picking the right altcoin that multiplies and gives better profit against that of the profit from bitcoin. whenever the market turns red it is an opportunity unlike the choice of Bitcoins/altcoins.
1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: June 11, 2022, 11:10:43 PM
like XRP. ADA, BNB, TRX can easily go 10x in present market
Although the probability does still exist but 10X is really high to even happened. If BNB would had ever reached that then the price would had been $2k to accomplish the goal which is really difficult to make it real. Although still the potential is still good to make an investment with. Would prefer to look these coins with appropriate X% and just enjoy the profit
Top altcoins will surely show growth, but how far this gets multiplied isn't known. 10x growth is simply when we are in the bullish market. Right now it is time for accumulation of low priced altcoins. Maybe the bitcoin's takeoff will help with the growth of altcoins in big multiple as the market is being followed by the trend of bitcoin.
1947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi came out with bitcoin2.0 would you use it? let`s say he used his keys on: June 10, 2022, 11:39:05 PM
Let us assume there is a launch of bitcoin 2.0 by a random person. Does that mean it is Satoshi?
He used his keys, and for that we can't believe one to be Satoshi.

He won't have such plans and in that case already we've got more number of Satoshi in the cryptospace. If you go through the coinmarketcap and search bitcoin we'll get to see a big list apart from the real bitcoin. Satoshi have innovated the technology and beyond this there is very minimal chance to think of 2.0, because when there is no limit automatically the system gets into destruction same as printing money.
1948  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: June 10, 2022, 11:15:48 PM
We're in the middle of the 4-year cycle.

What kind of mid-cycle are we talking about and where do these cycles come from and why, after the market recently reached the new ATH, is this the middle of a cycle? Can you elaborate on this, this is the first time I hear this theory?

I calculate the cycle from halving to halving. 4 years.
A rough calculation tells that at around 1.5 years after halving there's the ATH and the downtrend starts, after one more year (more or less) it's basically in the crypto winter and from that point we're getting slowly back to bullish trend, and in 1.5 years there's halving again.
Am I wrong?
We're on the cyclic pattern of market movements. Similar thing happened during the previous halving. The price crashed down to $3k range and bounced back marking the Ath price when the traditional market is facing the hard time out of the pandemic. The upcoming halving is scheduled for month of March 2024. This down market seems to continue till the end of 3rd quarter which is September.
1949  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and primedice are the worst gambling sites on: June 10, 2022, 10:42:18 PM
I hope you don't take my comment as a criticism, just look at it as an advice and observations I'm making, anyways:

1 - When someone has a problem at some casino and that person contacted the casino support but the casino support did not respond or if they did it did not solve the person's problem and it has been a long time without having solved the person's problem then that person person must create a thread in the scam accusation section and must post proof

2 - you said they have:

1. They do not give you loss back.

2. The top high rollers are fake meaning you will never win first place Or the fake lotteries.

you just write these accusations without proof, We can't be accusing without proof

When something is accused for doing wrong, we need to proof to claim as well as get the support of the community. OP can see a huge list of scam accusations made over different gambling and other platforms. Providing the proof will clear the community and make them believe what's been stated is true or not. Also you can't say the team have hidden every information, atleast you could've got the screenshot of the discussion with the support team. You can post that too.
1950  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: June 10, 2022, 10:12:01 PM
In my opinion review is one of the best ways to check the authenticity of the business.
Also - once you start gambling on a website you also get a feeler what is correct and what not. Trust your gut feelings too..
No it's not the best way as some review site owner might be paid to give a good review about a casino or any gambling site though it could really help you to know which of the sportsbook you can trust by checking the review about it but you must also check the review site if it's not biased (paid) or not. Therr are some accusations that are made not because of the sportsbook being a scam sportsbook or shady one but some people not group of people want to ruin a sportsbook or a casino.
Recently came across a list in which it is possible to see a list of gambling platforms accepting cryptocurrency, but those weren't known to me. When we go across the platform details, they're unpopular but the review site gives perfect feedback. As said nowadays everything requires marketing, so there are paid feedback providers. Good is to go through the list of gambling platforms that promote their service on the forum and choose the one that gives the comfort and trust.

1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 09, 2022, 04:05:33 PM
India has given a huge target of 212 runs. Since the Indian players have performed in their IPL a few days ago. And so it is natural that they will play well in the T-20 format now. And India scored 211 runs losing only 4 wickets. Ishan Kishan scored 76 runs off 48 balls. Captain Pant made 29 off 16 balls and Pandya made 31 off just 12 balls. It is very difficult to win by batting on such a big-run target. But not impossible. Because, this pitch is batting friendly. So if Indian bowlers don't bowl well, they won't win.
In such pitch it is hard for the bowlers to perform good. India maintained the run rate around 10 throughout the match. Now South Africa too does the same, but it have lost the top order batsmen De Cock, Bavuma and Pretorius. Fall of few more wickets will increase the pressure as run rate seems to fall as score have reached 82 runs in 9 overs.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: June 08, 2022, 06:55:10 PM
Investing into new projects is good, but here also we have the choice to choose the right one. Very few get lucky to choose the right one, whereas majority land into some random projects. Some projects used to have big expectation, during the pre-sale a large participant gets queued and a very few gets opportunity to invest. Such projects mostly gets listed within few days time and gives good return.

Newbies can invest on bitcoin, apart from this can go for altcoins and new projects. Such a diversified investment needs to be encouraged than concentrating on a single cryptocurrency.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 08, 2022, 05:33:11 PM
I don't even think it's safe to make a loan for investment, much less for gambling. But if you really believe you can win that bet then start with a small amount and if you are successful, combine those wins to bet on the next match. But try to avoid loan to gamble if you don't want to get into trouble.
Some gamblers are willing to bet using a loan even though they already know the risk to bear double losses because they have to pay the loan according to the agreement time, if the loan is in arrears then he pays the interest too. So in gambling it is not recommended to gamble from loans because gamblers are not focused on enjoying gambling other than greed for winnings and can benefit from loans.
Thats the real impact of taking a loan. People who have taken a loan for some other purpose in the past will never think of taking a loan again. When we were credited with the loan amount we find happiness, but the same won't last while repaying.

A loan is a good plan for a purpose that gives assured return. With gambling we don't have anything assured of a win, there is chances of loss too. Not after the tenure, once the amount gets credited automatically the interest gets calculated and added to the capital.
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 08, 2022, 04:17:51 PM
West Indies have been able to give a huge target of 305 runs. Opener Shai Hope's performance was very good today. He has scored 127 runs. Brooks also scored 70 and Powell 32 runs. Haris Rouf has taken 4 wickets today, but he has given 77 runs in 10 overs. Although the target is very large. However, I hope Pakistan can win. Pakistan has experienced batsmen like Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam.
That's a big score to chase. There is more chances of reaching the target as the match is being played on the Multan Stadium which is one of the favourite for Pakistan team. Based on the middle order performance we can get into conclusion about the match result. Because, in the middle order if the run rate slows down automatically it'll increase pressure on the batting side. This at times will result in consecutive fall of wickets.
1956  Economy / Economics / Re: Taking loan during high inflation? on: June 08, 2022, 03:10:30 PM

The good news is bitcoin is on bearish mode now, you can buy more with the money you will borrow.

Borrow you said huh.... Lol. At any point it is not a wise decision to borrow money for cryptocurrency investment. Bitcoin being a bear and you can't say if it is at the bottom yet and it may keep sliding down  It Is not a very good advise to use another person's money to invest in bitcoin. This should be a disclaimer for newbies and people thinking this way also.
Cryptocurrency investment is high risk involved unlike the traditional market. Every country is experiencing the hardship out of the rise in price of oil and natural gas. Almost every country is experiencing inflation and the GDP have dropped drastically. The interest rates too have increased alot. By this time taking a loan for an investment into cryptocurrency is like a gamble. So, good is to stay away from loan for now.
1957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 08, 2022, 02:14:08 PM
It doesn't look like countries ban bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns. Countries begin to make ban on mining due to power shortage happening around. More problem takes place when mining is done illegally. Countries tried the best to make stop illegal mining and give way for registered miners. The governments weren't able to do this, and the same has resulted in the complete ban of mining.
1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 07, 2022, 11:24:41 PM
Only positive thing about the fan tokens is the backing by Binance, other than the backing these fan tokens doesn't have any real time utility. The fan followers where the major contributors to this projects. Apart from this utility of a fan tokens is for the prediction/voting. When the particular team match is going on, fans who hold certain volume of tokens were able to predict/vote. So, these are long term investment opportunities where one can get lucky.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 07, 2022, 10:28:47 PM
From 100-1 to 128-10, that is Sri Lanka's batting breakdown and simultaneously what a rebound from Aussie blowers!
Now It's time Aussie batters to chase this low total. Australia again show their capabilities, yet is there any challenges sitting tight for Aussie hitters? The target may low, however this will not be a simple for Australia as there are turn wickets.
At first I thought that Sri Lanka will score above 160 runs. They had made a good start, but their batting lineup collapsed after the fall of second wicket. Hazlewood has destroyed their batting lineup. The target was quite low. Australia is playing with their strong squad. Aaron Finch and David Warner has finished the game in their style. Australia has won the first match by 10 wickets.

Sri Lanka collected more than 100 in 12 overs and lost just one wicket. If the players of the team were experienced, Sri Lanka could easily have scored more than 170 targets in this match. But they have given a target of only 129. It is impossible to win against a team like Australia with such a low target.
Yes, Sri Lanka lost its second wicket by 12 over. By that situation the score was 100 runs. In the next 7.3 overs faced Sri Lanka have managed to score 28 runs losing 8 wickets. This is really a bad performance against a strong team Australia. The opening order contributed good and the team needs to have combined progress than few player dependent.

The last time Sri Lanka won a T20 series was forgotten. Sri Lanka won only one of the five matches against Australia. And they have not won a single match in a three-match series against India. The condition of the Sri Lankan team is very bad now. They should organize a series against relatively weaker teams.
During the February month Sri Lanka played a series against Australia. In that series Sri Lanka won two T20s. Sri Lanka looked strong with the previous set of players who have now turned coaches and advisors. As said Sri Lanka need to plan something and work on it, if not it could get defeated by new teams entering the cricket.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 07, 2022, 09:32:10 PM
IMO, T10 is not cricket. It is more like baseball. I am OK with the T20 format, but definitely not OK with T10. Why can't we ban this god forsaken format for the general wellbeing of cricket? If the ICC want matches to be reduced to 10 overs per side, then they should reduce the number of players from 11 to 6. Imagine this, 11 guys having a total of 10 overs. That is less than one over per player. Definitely not fair.
Understandable. However, I feel that T-10 format could attract a bigger audience primarily due to the length of the games. Many people don't even have time to fully watch T-20 games from start to finish which is where the T-10 format comes into the picture.

It would definitely feel unfair at first, but I am confident that viewers would get used to it pretty quickly.
This is true, at the beginning it won't be that attractive and with time this will gain importance. On the other side this is pure destruction of real cricket. With the start of these games, test matches will lose its importance. Just think of the scoring pattern, players will just try to make more aggressive shots than perfect shots. In T-20 matches we can see some balls reaching boundaries and sixes which weren't expected by the batsman himself.
