I have taken my 2 doses as well, and I have been doing fine, been outside a bit more with that confidence but not too much, I do not want to get it and be like an idiot and be maskless in a crowded place.
I am not against vaccines in general but i am not confident how safe these new vaccines are in the long run and how it might affect our body and hence i am still waiting out until we have some detailed study about the vaccine, but the problem is that the government is planning to enforce everyone to take the vaccine if want to travel and it will make things hard for me personally.

I understand majority of you have taken the vaccines shots but none have mentioned which company vaccine they administered. I am also confused with which company vaccine to administer if the government enforces it mandatory for travel.

1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ban, mission impossible on: August 19, 2021, 08:19:03 PM

Many countries have struggled to obtain this digital currency. Bolivia, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh, for example, are all trying to obtain Bitcoin. Even more advanced countries such as Russia, Japan, Australia and Venezuela have attempted to legally sell Bitcoin. But it is interesting to note that some countries, such as India and the United States, have not yet taken action in this regard and have not yet defined an official policy on such currencies.
I was confused reading your statement about obtaining the currency  Cheesy. Some countries tries to restrict the front end exchange by restricting the central bank to trade with cryptocurrency exchanges and business ventures or outright ban them. All they can do is to disrupt and nothing more.

Countries like India took action against cryptocurrency exchanges through the central bank and the community fought against that in Supreme court and won the case and that is how these exchanges started operating again.

Unlike POS coins that are run in a limited number of nodes, BTCitcoin is decentralized.

Bumrah and Shami piled on the pressure while Siraj kept chipping away their wickets regularly. Also, England got lucky in the 1st test thanks to rain interference since 209 isn't a big target. My blind assumption!
Even i think so about the first Test match, if they had play in the final day i am sure India will look for the win and would have got those runs and in the second match, till the 4th day the match was in the balance and the most probable result was a draw and the chances of England winning the match was evident with the odds provided by bookies.

The Indian 4 pace attack is a pleasure to watch and the bowlers are back in rhythm unlike the World Test Championship where i felt they were struggling to get the rhythm as they are playing after a long gap.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 18, 2021, 08:50:00 PM
16 nations will participate in upcoming T20 world cup. Namibia is the last ranked team among them. All other nations staying ahead of Namibia in the Men's T20I Team Rankings. And you are talking about an old match. Things has changed a lot since than. Other cricket team has made a lot of improvement. Namibia isn't a new team in cricket. ICC should take some steps so that lower rank teams can gradually improve their performance.
ICC cannot take steps to improve their performance, they will provide the funds and their cricket board has to find young talents and help them improve their game.

David Wiese the former South African player will be making his debut for Namibia and it is an advantage for them even though i have not seen him performing well when he was in the South African squad, maybe he will be performing far better in a team like Namibia as he will be getting all the freedom unlike playing in a competitive South African squad.

1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AND YET ANOTHER FALL; A dip or A dump. on: August 17, 2021, 11:21:27 PM
Crypto community has been recording a great rise in prices in the past few days. Everyone has been saying the bull run has come again until this night when the prices of all the major cryptocurrencies. started falling again. Can this price fall be a Dip or the dump.
The idea of market always move in one direction is a myth and if anyone is confused whenever there is a minor correction they are struggling to cope up with the fact that there are people selling the coins and booking their profit  Tongue Cheesy. There are many that will be booking their profit and it is not a big surprise that we are witnessing some selling price after a decent push and it is impossible to know the direction of the market now.

West Indies need 44 run and they have 3 wickets in hand, Pakistan is making things interesting here. I thought West Indies will be able to win but when Pakistan picked up 3 early wickets then i thought Pakistan had a chance in the match and when i saw the scoreboard now they are struggling as the tail end batsman is in the crease and Pakistan could win the match easily but who know whether there is another surprise in stores  Grin.

While Microsoft does not have a particular fame for mistreating employees, most of the large companies, to some extent, are benefiting from market monopolies, questionable tax exemptions and in some cases questionable Human Resources practices. Does it make sense to you to first "take" from society by paying little tax and then doing philanthropy to "give back"? Sound to me quite cynic.
Bill Gates was an aggressive businessman in his young days and he battled anyone who he saw as a competitor and destroyed their business and mocked them. The most famous one was his fight against Netscape which is well documented and to drive them out of business he started giving away free browser with the OS.

When he started with his foundation i really thought that Bill Gates was doing that to change his image from an ruthless businessman to a different one and i still stand by my view  Grin, having said that i am not sure about the companies tax filings and whether they are getting any undue tax exemption.
1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the fight between Binance and Cardano on: August 15, 2021, 07:44:48 PM
let's make an argument here, which do you think is suitable to be ranked 3rd on coinmarketcap (Binance or Cardano), I personally prefer Binance, because Binance already has products (exchange, smart chain and Nft marketplace), then of course all products from Binance are successful and in demand by many people, while product from Cardano are still coming soon, that's why I prefer Binance rather than Cardano, so what's your choice?
Right now we can say that Binance will come out on top and no one can compete with them because they have the finance to handle everything and it is not that hard to copy every source code and make their own  Cheesy.

If there is a critic for Binance, the point of failure is really high because anything can happen as they are involved in too much different aspects of the market and once failure could crumble everything and we have seen companies failing and if they could survive without much issues in the next 5 years it would be great for them.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a new blockchain that will compete with Ethereum? on: August 15, 2021, 07:01:12 PM
We all know about huge transaction fees, not the most convenient scaling and the difficulties of entering the ecosystem. Are there projects that will provide people with the best conditions for the implementation of their ideas in the cryptoworld?
If you look at the new projects majority are migrating to BSC chain and then there are projects that are migrating to other chains like Hoo Smart chain, Reef Chain etc away from Ethereum because the fees are still huge and we can see many complaints from users for the projects i invested as well especially in some of the NFT projects and i know that they are implementing their upgrades but by that time it will cause the damage and this is the best opportunity for other chains to be prominent and most probably most of the projects will expand to all the chains to avoid fees congestion.

India need minimum 50 more runs if they want to compete. Pant-Jadeja duo is capable of reaching this target and everything after 200 runs is bonus, hope they survive the new ball. India will surely miss Ashwin tomorrow.
It will be survival mode for India as thy are leading by just 154 runs and Ishant Sharma is in the crease and how many runs they can score from this position even though Rishabh Pant is still in the crease. Anything below 250 runs and England will go for the win as they have the players to chase these totals.

West Indies need 130 to win and Pakistan needs to pick 7 more wickets and i am not sure how the match will swing even at this stage because couple of wickets now could change the momentum of the match.
1971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 15, 2021, 03:47:00 PM

In my opinion, Bitcoin is a store of value, not a currency. There may be cryptocurrencies becoming legal tender, but not now, volatility and supply and demand need to be considered.
The intention of Satoshi according to the whitepaper was an electronic payment system without trust but with cryptographic proof of the transaction, which literally means taking away the third party to make the transaction and not a store of value.

Who knows if Satoshi could have stayed and we could have seen a much different space or whether he knew that the scaling will be an issue and never bothered to come back, but one thing was certain he was not happy with the direction BTCitcoin was going when he left mainly because of Wikileaks and a few other things  Grin.

Still if you want to transfer currency you can do it with cryptographic proof and if someone is not intending to do that does not mean that it is just a store of value Tongue.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 15, 2021, 02:35:39 PM
Hardly any chance of a result with the second test match between India and England. Virat Kohli was the last hope for the Indians and he too is gone now. The boring pair of Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara is at the crease and we can expect them to score 100-120 runs in the remaining (66) overs for today. The surprise today was that the wickets didn't went to the two best England bowlers (Anderson and Robinson), but to the two who looked pathetic in the first innings (Mark Wood and Sam Curran).
Mark Wood was able to pick the wickets because of his pace and when India wanted its top order to perform they failed big time and the pair of Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane who failed to play a good innings in a few innings are playing a defensive game and till now everything looks good and with just 76 runs lead how long they keep on defending without loosing the wickets.

If India has to save the match someone has to rise to the occasion and play a better innings and build a partnership.
1973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAVE CRYPTO FROM PEOPLE LIKE ELON MUSK on: August 14, 2021, 10:59:39 PM
Very simple, don't make him relevant. We have given him so much power that we deserve whatever that's coming our way. This should be a decentralized industry but with our actions so far, we're centralizing it. Elon wasn't important until few months back, whey then are we taking everything he says or tweets as a reason to make decisions in the market.
Elon Musk is a polarizing figure and it is true that the community was looking for someone to be the voice and may be so is the reason everyone jumped to his bandwagon when he started talking about BTCitcoin because he is an influencer and can make major changes in the market and he is a techie but if you give too much importance to an individual they always bite back  Grin.

The cryptocurency industry should be bigger that Elon that no matter what he said won't have any effect since he wasn't one of the forerunners of the industry from the onset but due to our insecurities as a community and our hope for a cryptocurency messiah, we let our guard down and let the rich folks milk us of our funds.
No one could reach the level of Roger Ver and there is no point in looking for someone  Cheesy, there was a time when he influenced people with his passionate speeches about BTCitcoin but now the market has grown to a level that we do not need any voice to advertise the novelty of the project.

Indian batting doesn't need to collapse, we have full 2 days which means even if India manage to score 250 tomorrow, England can easily chase it on day 5 and don't expect rain in England when result is not in favour of India.  Grin
If there is no rain interruption and then the Indian batsman is able to play a long inning and if that happens then this match is going to be another draw as India will not declare without putting a challenging total on the board which means over 300 runs. With this pitch i am not expecting the bowlers to dominate unless the batsman play silly shots and starts a parade back to the pavilion.

Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane needs to perform as they failed to make any meaningful contribution for a long time.
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 13, 2021, 11:59:22 PM
Most NFT games are based on an investment system. like you can resell the items you get in the game or also sell your NFT assets to other people. and actually you don't lose assets because you will continue to be able to earn more. needed large capital sometimes is become barrier for people who just want to try nft games. what else in NFT is currently popular.
In some of the P2E games the main idea is to resale things at a later time and make it rare so that people will be trading them and hopefully we will see the market evolve according to the changes and we might see games like Minecraft making its debut for NFT lovers.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 12, 2021, 10:54:11 PM
Pacquaio found a replacement so quickly. I wonder if they offer this to Mayweather?
If will still make them good money for the match, people may even cancel schedules to see them again in the ring. I dont't really see Ugas to be a good contender.
If Mayweather comes out of retirement to face Manny Pacquiao there is no doubt that it would become the biggest PPV event even if it scheduled in a short period of time. But Mayweather will not accept a fight against Manny Pacquiao in a short period because he knows the risk involved and he will do anything to keep his undefeated record intact   Grin.

I am yet to watch any fights of Yordenis Ugas live but Manny Pacquiao is too strong technically for this kid.

First 50 runs opening partnership for India at the Lord's since 1952 lol
I did not know this stats and they went on to score a century partnership and KL Rahul is still in the crease and hopefully goes on to score a double century, the pitch looks like there is nothing much to offer for the bowlers and the only thing India need to do is to put a total excess of 500 runs and see whether England crumbles under pressure and for that Ajinkya Rahane should play a crucial innings with Kohli back in the pavilion.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 11, 2021, 11:48:24 PM
Contracts have been signed for Anderson Silva to box with Tito Ortiz in the co-main event of the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Vitor Belfort card on September 11, and it is organized by Triller.
Both of them are well known MMA fighters active until recently in UFC, one of the best known MMA organizations, so it will be interesting fight to watch.
Andreson Silva is 46 years with 34-11-0 MMA record, and Tito Ortiz is also 46 years old with record 21-12-1.
Tito Ortiz and Andreson Silva are of the same age but Andreson Silva is far superior fighter than Tito Ortiz and his main skill was wrestling and not boxing and on the other hand Anderson Silva is known for his striking and he even defeated Julio César Chávez Jr in his last bout in June this year who was a well accomplished boxer and looking by that standard there is no way Tito Ortiz is going to last 6 rounds  Cheesy.

Poly Network Hacker Repays Millions, Says ‘Ready to Return the Fund’
"The unknown Poly Network hacker has begun returning funds stolen from yesterday’s record-breaking exploit.

The attacker responsible for yesterday’s $600 million hack of decentralized finance (DeFi) interoperability protocol Poly Network sent nearly $5 million worth of crypto back to the project."
I heard about these comments about the hackers returning the coins, but is it really true that they will be refunding all the coins that they hacked. I really doubt that, if the hackers wanted to help the network they would have done that and asked for a bounty to save the network for good and now the reputation of Poly Network is down the drains and what is the point of all this other than showing off if they really return all the funds.
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: August 10, 2021, 06:54:57 PM
Anyway, Moussasi is an example of decent talent that’s been wasting his time at Bellator.  I wonder what made him make the decision to leave the UFC.  He was on his way up then he suddenly made the announcement that he was leaving.  Weird.
I remember Gegard Mousasi explaining about his decision leaving the UFC in an interview with Ariel Helwani that the UFC was not willing to pay the amount he was quoting when his contract was expired while Scott Coker was his former boss and he was willing to pay him and give him the respect as they had a good working relation in Strikeforce where he was a champion and same was the situation with Ryan Bader in the UFC.

Many were not happy with the Reebok takeover and majority of the fighters were not happy with the deal and so is the reason many left the UFC during that period because they were getting paid higher from advertisement from advertisers than the fighter pay during that period and when that was taken away after the Reebok deal there were not happy.
