2001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's stack on: October 16, 2017, 06:58:17 AM
Hi Bitcoiners! i heard that Satoshi Nakamoto has more than 1M Bitcoins, and i became really curious to see the wallet with all those bitcoins! so i did some research and i couldn't find any info on which are the wallet adresses that hold such bitcoins, in fact i found out that the most bitcoins held in a wallet right now is about 300k bitcoins held by the FBI or some shit... so i would like to ask the community where is the address that holds such amount of bitcoins and what info we've got about what satoshi did with his coins, did he sold them? does he still have them? where are they? thanks for your help!
Love from Colombia <3
Satoshi is one of the smartest person in the planet and a very few people know about his identity and I remember that theymos once said that board number 2/3 which is not for normal users had deleted by satoshi because he had put in some of his details and when he left, he made sure he didn't leave anything behind. And what will you do by knowing how many coins satoshi or anyone else has? Don't you anything else to do in life?
2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 16, 2017, 06:38:49 AM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!
If you're going to be an investor don't make a mistake by buying bitcoin at higher prices, buy when some random fools help to crash the markets ,and then buy and sell and continue the circle. Spend some time on reading articles and you will have a better idea on bitcoin. You can go for altcoins also, but bitcoin is the best and I prefer bitcoin to be of topmost priority.
2003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dimon [ JP Morgan CEO ] Continues to Make a Fool of Himself.... on: October 16, 2017, 05:32:55 AM
This is Mr. Wall Street Mr Dimon and he continues to bash Bitcoin all the time. Last week he stated he was going to shut up...NOT. He continues to run his mouth and calling investors stupid, He needs to look in the mirror. I have to say it really amazes me how irresponsible he is and just showing his ignorance on this topic.

There is a lesson to be made do not listen to the Guru's most are just clueless..I stopped watching financial TV and Radio. Do your own research and work and you will be better off in your financial endeavors.....
Screw that guy man, it's not the first time he is doing something like this and he is definitely not the first to talk bull shit about bitcoin. Dimon has been accused several times for talking irrelevant and fault facts just for his company's benefit and he was also sued for this on multiple occasions. Just consider the fact that his opinions aren't of correct facts and figures, so at the end of the day his opinion doesn't matter.
2004  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin hit 10.000 in 2018? on: October 16, 2017, 04:37:10 AM
No matter if $ or €
Yeah sure, why not Roll Eyes It's possible, maybe in mid 2018 I guess because the price is not likely to increase after the hardfork and there is a speculation of bitcoin going down to 3000$ by November end it seems, a great opportunity to reinvest but it's damn risky and alts is what I am a bit afraid, they will go even down when bitcoin goes down ,God forbid but the market state is like that, you just can't help.
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: October 16, 2017, 03:19:22 AM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

Of course another altcoin which just comes along with the name bitcoin. I don't think bitcoin cash will ever cross 1500$ mark because till now the price has reached till ~700$ and the reason why it won't increase much is because of lack of support that bitcoin cash has at the moment, and bitcoin gold is now getting people's attention of late because of the free money scheme.
2006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: October 15, 2017, 12:37:45 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

The innovation that is the block chain technology that scares them yeah. The price also scares people in such a way that they think somehow someday some where bitcoin will scam all the people who use bitcoin.
2007  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: October 15, 2017, 04:43:06 AM
Well firstly, I don't believe that you have ~800 btc. Cause a pic doesn't prove anything for me, especially when the world is filled with treacherous cunts. Comeback with better proof man. BTW giving out loans is not a problem till you get a collateral ,if you're going to give loan without collateral then loans are very very risky. That's the basic common sense, isn't it?
2008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Man Sold It All For This One Thing and Made Hundreds of Dollars Overnight on: October 14, 2017, 03:52:39 PM
Quote
A man upped sticks, sold everything he had for Bitcoin and moved his family to a campsite after claiming that he is waiting for the next "boom" in cryptocurrencies.

Didi Taihuttu, 39, moved his family to a campsite outside of Venlo in the Netherlands, after putting his house on the market along with other possessions including his car, motorbike, children's toys and other family consumables.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/man-sells-everything-for-bitcoin-moves-family-to-campsite-a7994751.html

What do you think? Would you do the same thing? Do you think in the future he will be a rich man?
That's such a terrible move made by that man, you will live in a tent and you will sell your house for bitcoin and wait till there is another boom? Are you kidding me? You could have just taken a loan from bank or something, you don't have to sell your house for that. A wise person never does such a thing. Grow up and start making smart decisions, Mr. Dumbass of all time.
2009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: October 12, 2017, 09:04:13 AM
Bitcoin has become the world most valuable asset and the value keeps going higher!

Why not we should focus on saving more bitcoins than selling our last remaining bitcoins?

I read and hear from a lot of guys owning bitcoin saying, should I sell my bitcoins?

The issues is, if you sell all your bitcoins when are you going to buy at lower price?

There's no guarantee when exactly bitcoin price will surely come down.

Share your thoughts about what you think guys. Smiley
Who is asking you to sell permanently? Don't you know how trading works? You sell your bitcoin for a temporary basis and buy back again when it's best and is feasible for you. What people do is they sell and ask others to sell along with them but the difference between the both is that the guy who sells first will buy back again and the rest won't which gives home benefit of leverage. So you can sell your bitcoin on short term and save it for long term.
2010  Economy / Economics / Re: China closes exchanges on: October 12, 2017, 08:32:43 AM
I guess that is good news, the cat is out of the bag and no more rumors. China closes all exchanges based on the fact that they are operating without a formal license.

Which means there will be regulation and licenses coming soon, a good step forward.

https://www.coindesk.com/document-lists-closure-steps-for-chinas-bitcoin-exchanges/
China should be back with licensed exchanges, because they are the soul of bitcoin and crypto mining ,they play a very big role in cryptos and the Chinese people will find it easier to mine and get profits because of cheap labor and electricity cost. Russia wants to beat china in mining now. Chinese exchanges are a necessity to try crypto community and it would be better if China realizes before its too late.
2011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency poses serious risks - Vladimir Putin on: October 12, 2017, 07:59:17 AM
First, read this Coindesk article, https://www.coindesk.com/vladimir-putin-cryptocurrency-poses-serious-risks/

Then, answer this question. It poses a risk for who? Us, the ordinary people, or them the government, the banks and the establishment?

Comments like that make their thoughts known that they want to stop cryptocurrencies because it can ruin their business. They will use reasonings like "to protect the consumer" or "to prevent fraud".

Sorry, but the community is doing fine, thanks. We do not need your "protection".

Yeah not every one in the crypto community is not doing fine tbh. Their foolishness paves the way for the governments to interfere and as a result we saw China banning ICOS and exchanges later on. Then South Korea followed by banning ICOS and now it's Russia that's getting involved.  The risk is for both the government and the people because governments think that investing in stocks is better and it increases the GDP and the National Income of the country and cryptos aren't considered when calculation of NI takes place. And some people who lost their money by investing in shitty ICOS made governments eventually do something about it as soon as they could.
2012  Economy / Economics / Re: each state will create its own token? on: October 12, 2017, 06:59:42 AM
Hello people! As you consider whether each state to create their own tokens? under its currency?
Probably yeah, now that the market of crypto is bullish and has become a world wide trend off late thanks to one, ransomeware attack and two, bitcoin 's price. People are getting to know that such a thing called bitcoin exists and it's per coin worth is more than 4700$. So what governments are planning to do is to release their own centralized currency with blockchain interface and technology involved in it.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that digital currencies will replace Fiat? on: October 12, 2017, 06:32:30 AM
I know it may not be possible right now, but do you think fiat will be gone in the future?
Idk more about exactly what can happen and what will happen, but you can be sure that block chain technology is going to be the future. A few decades down the lane we might see something that everyone is expecting to happen and what if a new system which will revolutionize the entire world and create a new world full of opportunities.
2014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if another altcoin surpasses BTC in value? on: October 12, 2017, 05:16:31 AM
What will you do if some altcoin (XMR or ETH for example surpasses the value of BTC, either in market cap or by the price of a token each? Will you sell your BTC to buy the more "valuable" coin, or continue using and holding BTC? Also, what do you think are the chances that it could happen? I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.
Mr. Adam Smith will also find it difficult to figure what exactly can happen to the crypto currency world economically. Altcoins have a bigger capital than bitcoin, which makes its supply to be way more than its demand, people want to buy altcoins at a cheaper price and sell it for 100%,200%,300% profit. That's only part where altcoins come to play, it cannot compete against bitcoin in other aspects.
2015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 11, 2017, 05:10:39 PM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
Because bitcoin wasn't copied from some thing else and it was really developed for the people who needed a change from the centralized systems and something which is related to tech. It's monetary value this year has added up more number of users in bitcoin and it's security mode is so very powerful and alt coins will find it really really hard to at least come near to bitcoin.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold to be created Oct 25 hardfork? on: October 11, 2017, 05:11:09 AM
According to this article another altcoin 'bitcoin gold'  will be created from bitcoin like BCC during the upcoming hard fork in October 25th which means every owner of a bitcoin will technically own a bitcoin gold, I hope my wallet will support this new chain.
https://www.quora.com/Can-you-elaborate-on-how-bitcoin-holders-will-receive-bitcoin-gold-after-the-October-25th-hard-fork
I heard this from a article saying that there are going to be multiple forks, one is on October 25 and another one will be during November ,which they call it as Segwit2X. I didn't quite understand what exactly they were trying to tell but to reduce the block size and to reduce the transaction fee is one of the reasons why the hardfork is taking place now.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 11, 2017, 04:45:22 AM
Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.
Yea no shit people will use it as a leverage to make illegal transactions and convert it to white money. That's how bitcoin got a bad name in the countries point of view. Icos made it even worse. Illegal transactions will be there for ever and there will be a need for strict action to be taken by the government to solve this issue.
2018  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC analysis for this month! on: October 10, 2017, 08:03:24 AM

Hey Speculators,
I am starting up with a tentative analysis over Bitcoins and help you understand about the basic levels if you are not that Pro in all this.
I am a steady Price Action trader who loves to derive levels on his own by watching naked charts only because I never use any indicators to draw where the price will tend to move.
In the image above, we can clearly see that Bitcoin is currently at level which should be determined as the Pivot point as the coin is currently moving with good stability currently with no such harsh moves.
It is currently in a triangle and could break up any time towards high because the momentum towards upside is looking much better against a drop.
It is currently holding hard at its Pivot level and Support 1 (3500) seems unlikely atm seeing the gains it has made so far.
However, it needs to break the triangle with some great force and cross Resistance 1 (4000) in order to confirm an uptrend where achieving Resistance 2 (4500) won't be that hard. After that, I see a rally incoming.
The price of bitcoin is going to be on a rise this month because of increased demand of bitcoin will benefit people with free bitcoin gold which they are so eager ro dump it the moment they get their hands on it and get a few dollars, how cheap people are! Sad that part time traders who are looking forward for altcoins price to increase and they get some amount as a return on investment but sadly the price of alt coins ain't gonna increase.
2019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen If I want to invest bitcoin before the another fok the bitcoingold? on: October 10, 2017, 05:53:19 AM
What happen If I want to invest bitcoin before October 24  the bitcoin gold fork ?

Thanks for the reply
The fork is just a thing between the miners and the developers team, a normal user must not worry about it. If you invest in bitcoin before the fork you will be having an additional coin in your wallet if your Wallet accepts. The value of the new coin aka Bitcoin Gold will be very less and people will look forward on dumping it as soon as possible.
2020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: October 09, 2017, 09:00:49 AM
Bitcoin growth again, for two days it's turn back his position 3960$ and continue to grow!
Should I go to bank and buy bitcoins?
Your wish man, if you are in for this long term then fine. Other wise go some where else, this is not the right place for you. Go for stock market if you want. But if you're in for long term, then you are gonna enjoy abnormal profits. So you decide the ball Is in your court.
