2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: June 05, 2017, 02:22:16 AM
Well if we're serious in playing gambling in a smart way, then we should learn statistics, engineering economy, mathematics and probabilities. Using methods you can lessen the odds of losing gand can even accurately predict the outcome of the game. This won't be easy to learn but it will give you some advantage. In gambling even veteran players can be bested when having so much pressure and you just take advantage of that, also learn how to stop when tgere are consecutive losses.
Those things that you mentioned are soo much to consider and to needed to master because gambling do generally rely on luck for most games but there are games which do need experience and analysis and i can say those mathematical/engineering wouldnt be necessary on gambling it may be needed on some instances but not generally on playing gambling.
well we always try to find good advantage even playing with the luck base games we still tried some ways and calculate the lossible times of betting with our bankroll but most of the times greediness showed up and make some big change so we needed to play safe and smart by controlling this emotions and be always contented with small profits.

I could not agree more!
Greed is one of the primary reasons why gamblers loses.. Professional gamblers just stick with the plan no matter where the luck leads him/her. When the plan says stop after 10% profit of the total bankroll, he/she stops no matter what - this is playing without emotions.
2022  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 02, 2017, 05:42:30 AM
Why not choose both - Bitcoin and Gold? Good investments are always diversified. Gold have own history, and people trust in stability, but Bitcoin means future and is growing very fast. Combination of this two, can be the best option for investment.
You need good amount of money to invest both in gold and bitcoin because gold is already expensive as well as bitcoin so it is not very affordable for a person who wants a good investment. Investing in bitcoin alone is a good investment because of the fast price movement and now it seems that it is going up so there is no doubt that bitcoin is better than gold.

Could not agree more. I am just kinda feeling of concern as to how long does the price of bitcoin will still go high. Lots of money are being made. I lost easily 3-4 bitcoins 2 years ago now it worth pretty high..
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 01, 2017, 10:42:19 AM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?
Of course it is especially on dealing with your emotions and what will you do when you face a conflict. Not only luck is require on gambling but also skills and experience. For me experience is a support that you will need inorder to win.

Experience does not matter in the actual gambling games like dice or sports betting etc, but it does matter on how you play the game. How much amount you invest and how you take your profits and play calculated so that you will not lose in the need. All these things requires experience, but to actually win or lose from gambling is only Luck factor and no experience in it.
Hm. i do agree with you in some point. Experience does help us a lot in gambling and improve ourselves in many ways. And one day, we can truly earn money from gambling

well experience may also make you realize that you can't consistently profit from gambling. I agree that its not just ingame that experience is valuable but in money management entirely. it also makes you avoid making decisions that you'd later regret. it makes you composed especially during tight situations where proper decision making is essential

That is true - a well experienced gambler knows all of the aspect from betting sessions to good money management. They have this plan and they stick to that plan whatever happens - if it loses, then that is part of the plan and move on, and if it wins, rinse and repeat or stop depending on the plan.
2024  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: May 31, 2017, 03:19:25 AM
Its unrealistic to procure steady income from bitcoins as value variances will never help you in coming to there , enduring wage is conceivable with just all day work from where you can expect relentless wage

There are quite a number of friends I know of that have a steady income with bitcoins. Some work and their salary is bitcoin while others have business wherein they accept bitcoin as payment - like hosting website business.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 30, 2017, 01:30:09 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
Because you are already addicted into gambling, just simple as that mate.
And once you get addicted unto it, it wouldn't be easy for you to quit it even you know
You often loss of your money every time yoj played in gambling.
You quit because you have nothing to gamble, that is the worst thing that will happen to an addicted gambler and it will happen very fast since he lost control of himself. There are risk in gambling and as a gambler we should learn how to manage it, but we cannot do that if we are not a discipline gambler due to the fact that we always want some action and be aggressive all the time.

I could not agree more to this mate. Things will really go fast if you don't control your gambling habits. You can easily lose all of your hard earned money and savings in just a matter of days or just 1 day if you are fool enough to bet it all in.
2026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 30, 2017, 01:28:20 AM
There is no smart way to gamble, the smartest thing to do with gambling would be to avoid it overall IMO. The odds are always against the player particularly in casino games and dice, and regardless of the strategy the player is in the negative... However in sport betting, the trick of playing both sides in different SB's and getting the difference in odds is the only definitively profitable gambling strategy.

For those gamblers that wants and seeing a good fortune in gambling they should really not look for a smart way as it is not going to give them assurance to win. Gambling is simply gambling the way it is and there's no way to play smartly in gambling, it's risky and you need to take it if you are hoping to win. Staying away will be the best choice and do some other things for earning.
I stopped dreaming of making a fortune in gambling as the more I dream of it the more it is getting risky for me, I don't wanna tied with that dream that has only a little chance of happening, instead I accept the reality that it should only be treated for fun otherwise I have to bear the loses when I continue to chase that dreams.

Yeah and we cannot depend on gambling to achieve our dreams and if we keep on chasing our dreams depending on gambling then we will land no where in future so we should accept the reality that we will never become rich with gambling and it should always be treated as an fun and for entertainment purposes.

I agree with this. Although it is tempting to play with big money that most of the time you can't afford to lose, we should stop that urge and do something else that shift our minds and hearts from gambling big again.

No problem with gambling little just for entertainment though.
2027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: May 30, 2017, 01:26:11 AM
Greetings!

While trading sometimes I drop back from my original plan. Such emotional decisions often bring loss cuz I tend to change orders on panic or when I mistakenly expect more potential income. How do you deal with that if you feel the same way?
I don't. Going back to the original plan would be fialed since you wouldn't doubt if your plan is good. In my opinion, it's better to make alternative plan before trading so that, ebeing controlled by emotion would be eliminated.

That is true. We should master the art and discipline of just following the plan and no emotions involve no matter what. Once we master this, we no longer blame ourselves but the system or strategy that we employ.
2028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: May 30, 2017, 01:24:12 AM
I regret when the first i know about bitcoin that is year 2010 bitcoin worth 50$ only i really regret it. I don't believed on bitcoin that time so that i don't buy bitcoin but now if i can see the price i really feel sad. If that time i buy bitcoin i think this days am millionaire.

Yes even I have made the same mistake for not buying bitcoins at that price even though I was aware about bitcoins but didn't had faith that it will survive or it will go higher in future and if I would have bought bitcoins at that time then I would be holding more then 100 bitcoins at this stage and now its never possible to have 100 btc in wallet.
I think so many regrets happen, especially lately, because they sell the bitcoin they've sold at a price of $ 1000 or less. Well, nobody expected that bitcoin prices would be as high as this, in fact I'm also a bit sorry for having sold my bitcoin at a cheap price.

I sold lots of bitcoins when it was just $300 price. I regret it but it was history already. I just can't believe how I see I got those bitcoins before but now, it is like gold, so hard to get - but maybe it is just for me, I am pretty sure that there are others there that can easily get these bitcoins.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 30, 2017, 01:21:20 AM
Experience will never help you in winning money in gambling but it will help you to understand the fact that when you should stop gambling or with what amount you should gamble and when you should withdraw your profits and if you treat experience in positive way then it can give you better results.

Experience help when you will apply what is needed on a certain scenario like you are on a winning streak and should  stop otherwise, you will be like what you had before, losing all instead.
2030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: May 25, 2017, 01:02:44 AM
I promised myself not to trade: https://steemit.com/money/@genesisre/investing-strategy-suiting-your-needs-and-why-i-won-t-actively-trade-bitcoin

But the excitement... Still trying to maintain discipline.

LOL, its true. Once you start trading, its very hard to stop yourself even if you are making losses.

To me, now the trading seems pretty fun, and every profit or loss seems like an experience for me. Cheesy

I stoped for atleast 1 month in trading when almost all my coins dumped. When i got back seems very hard for me to stop right now which i profit good, lost some but thats how trading works.

If the trade brings pleasure - then you are doing the right thing. And if it only causes negative emotions, then it's best to leave the trade. Why suffer? Life should bring only positive emotions

Wow! Love your comment mate. Make truly sense. When we are happy doing with anything in life at the moment, continue that but if we are no longer happy, stop and find another endeavor that makes us happy - life is short but life is great when we do action to get to where we are happy!
2031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: May 25, 2017, 01:01:03 AM
When we talk about our emotions on how to manage it,many people fall unto this one, whether in business, schooling, spiritual, and mentality. but if we know only the basic rules of it,it will surely we can manage our emotion properly and we will stand firm on what we originate the plan.

Now we are calm and therefore we speak about the need to be able to control emotions. We talk about this and discuss it. But, when a critical situation sets in, it is unlikely that any of us will remember this topic and the advice that is here

When critical situation occurs, many traders or even professionals will have the same emotions, the true difference of emotional control can only be gained from experience of loss and accumulated into an ever-expanding analysis. Management can be learned but it is useless if it has no negative experience.

Could not agree with you more mate. Almost all of the traders and gamblers know that they should control their emotions (at least what they have heard and read), but when they are on the scenario already, they can't control it but when they commit mistake out of it and learn from it, then that is the time they emerge a professional trader or gambler.
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: May 25, 2017, 12:58:38 AM
I haven't really had regretted joining Bitcoin but what I might consider a seemingly regret will be the fact that I found out about Gambling with Bitcoin rather late because that could have prompted the need for me to hoard them down when it was less than $500

My regret was always withdrawing bitcoin earnings when it was just $320 a bitcoin. I was withdrawing like .1 btc every single week on average for couple of months. I am just wondering if I also hoard those coins, maybe I can buy a new car right now - a good 2nd hand car Smiley
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: May 25, 2017, 12:55:22 AM
The world would have been a better place, full of hardworking and enterprising people and less of greedy fellows.
The world is still full of hard work and those people who know that the real profit is in hard working are doing their hard work and are earning their profit and are happy while in gambling only those people relying for living who do not know about hard working and who cannot do hard work.

Agree with you BUT I have a good friend who is a professional gambler who really into it and gambles like it is his business. He have a book-like of strategies and keep on playing calculated bets. It is really hardwork. He even taught me but I didn't survive Cheesy

2035  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 25, 2017, 12:50:08 AM
I have both but I prefer BTC to gold.. More fun to have  Grin
yes i also prefer bitcoin to gold as bitcoin has more chances to increase their price and give us some more profit in a short period of time.

Bitcoin has a very good potential because people are really using it and are liking it due to its ease and convenience of use. Gold on the other hand is good investment as well - I prefer investing to both investment vehicles.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 25, 2017, 12:48:37 AM
because gambling is most popular past times of people today that's the reason they addicted. Because they want to earn instant money when they winning the jackpot. But yet many gamblers have suffered losses refuse to quit, and but hoping for elusive win,and they cant control their self. And other reason is early big win because they experience and they become addicted.

But today it's not just a popular past times because most of the people are treating it as a source of income. And that is why gambling is addictive, because of those people that are getting some good profit in gambling. They are attracting other people to gamble and when they are thinking that they will get good money in gambling, that's the start of addiction.

Addiction comes from habit. When gambling is already a habitual thing for you, you are slowly going into a big hole of gambling addiction. Just play in moderation and play for fun - if it ain't fun anymore, stop!
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 25, 2017, 12:46:41 AM
I still haven`t get rich from gambling but I am keep on trying. Problem for me is that I don`t have big bank roll. I`m trying to do something with small amounts but doesn`t get any success. When you have money and gamble with no pressure you can win big amounts, but when you think about gambling as a source of incoming(like me) then you may find your self in kind of a problem. So, if you invest, you can count on some fortune. Or if you are born under lucky star and `spin` some jackpot.

I think you better stop gambling just because you want to be rich and get a lot of profit out of it. What may happen will be the opposite of what you are thinking or expecting. If you really want to become rich by gambling, you better save all of that amount that you are gambling and then save it, then use it to invest in some gambling sites. And it doesn't matter if you are lucky, gambling will be making everyone broke.
even if you made a good profit from gambling still it is not so easy to stop gambling, in fact it is addiction and when people become addicted then they cannot stop their addicted activities so easily.

It is so hard to stop gambling when you are already hooked at it. You just need to play in moderation and always in control because if you won't it is just a matter of time that you found your self slave into gambling.
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: May 25, 2017, 12:45:12 AM
Gambling is wrong to the people who is not gambling. But to the gamblers its a very good way to find money easily.Because they think they earn this kind of work.
Gambling is wrong when you do this as your lifestyle. You cannot have the assurance that money will come to you everyday.
i think gambling can only be consider it as wrong if we do not have any strategy for playing gambling but if we play gambling wth some strategy then there is nothing wrong to it.
yes that is right, if you are playing gambling with planing and in moderation then it cannot be consider as wrong. it is all depending on the way we play gambling.

Gambling is not wrong when you only play for entertainment and with the money that you can afford to lose. It is like anything that we do that when done in excess becomes wrong. Even when you love too much, it will hurt and that's bad! Wink
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: May 25, 2017, 12:43:36 AM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?
Do it for both to have fun and have some profit of course,
Sometimes gambling is my way to enjoy my free time.

You cannot have fun if you are losing money.  That is the sad reality.  People speaks of gambling to have fun but once they are on it, the aim changed to having profit.  So when a losing streak strikes them, the fun thing is automatically fades away and the seriousness and frustration comes in.
If a gambler is just depositing a smaller amount of bitcoins and play with just that amount then he will not be sad if he will lose that money and he will get the fun from the game. If he will continue with that strategy forever then he will not ever become addicted to gambling.
but to me i think addicted people cannot get fun and pleasure with small amount of investment. i think they always try to play with good amount of bitcoin.

I think not all gambling addicts are like that, some that I know, gamble with their money on their pockets, but I don't know how they gamble so long even with a small amount of money, it's like they are winning some and continue gambling. But in the end they still lose, but I think if they stopped earlier, they've win a lot for sure.

Both pro and ordinary gambler should always bear in mind that in gambling you can win some and lose some. You should just have that discipline to stop when necessary and for sure that urge to continue gambling is very hard to resist.
2040  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: May 18, 2017, 05:53:01 AM
Buying low when the price is dipping and selling high when the price is rising. People mistake holding longterm and holding shorterm.

In almost every case in the past few years, you could have made more money from buying low selling high. I look at prices multiple times a day and have stuff setup to do this very thing. Making a  3% or 4% profit trade a few times a day is pretty easy, just takes patience.
This is what some people don’t understand, while day trading can be profitable, it is way more easy to just wait for the price tendencies to become very clear that way you can earn a lot of money without doing too much of an effort.
Because what you've implant in your mind is what you need to do .Mind limits yourself and make work for your body what you think . If you think steady income it is not a steady income .Trading is a better income changes and how much you can earn will depend in a person .Only those who doesnt really know how to have patient on trading often losses.

That is true. Learning to control our mind from thinking only on positive things and thinking BIG, we are on our way to success. Whether it is trading or in any chosen profession, this applies.
