Therefore I would like to see valuation estimates of BTC in gold, for the future. We should only value commodities versus other commodities, rather than debased currencies. Because it means nothing

I'd like to see from my spirit plane every other currency estimated in Bitcoin. Moneychangers having every single forex paired with BTC. Of course, by that point, the same satoshi can buy the same loaf of bread over the span of several hundred years.

If we still eat bread by then and moneychangers still exist, that is.

Oh. Friend, I'll probably stop visiting this thread for a while (I hope you invite me later) - it's very painful to watch how you are sooooo close to victory lately, but literally just a little bit is missing. Arsenal and the upcoming championship (very likely) of City ruined my mood today.
The only thing that pleased me was Dortmund (which, unexpectedly for me, used Bayern's mistake) and the situation that is developing now in the management of the club. Kahn and Salihamidzic must take full responsibility.

No one hurt more than me (except Saints fans I guess)... but this literally is the story of this thread, very low win percentage, and long stretches of sorrow, sometimes some really crazy wins in a row but generally quite demotivating when it comes to weeks like you've just seen. Big odds, and drawing, the funny thing is how of all the losses, Saints odds were the biggest but they probably deserved the win.

Mainz was a great bet to take, but then it was only 5/1 when I checked, and so, not nearly enough for me to add it (even knowing how crap Bayern has been).

BVB better not throw away this gift.

Feel free to return at a later time when you feel like throwing money on longshots heh. And thank you, always, I know it's a fairly quiet thread but it's nice to know it brings some entertainment to some of you here =D
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 22, 2023, 08:28:24 PM
Just realised mitch and darbit have such huge leads in the first 2 spots. Haven't paid attention much in this pool, given the hopelessness of my situation. Can't even get Saints win to cheer me up, the draw was the worst possible outcome for either team honestly.

Hoping Liverpool don’t do a season 2022/23 Liverpool (one good result followed by something terrible) today. We looked really good against Leeds and today we have Nottingham Forest at Anfield. I mean we really should be bettering these today but our season has been so full of wild inconsistent form. Pretty much all of our injured players are now back though, I think we will win comfortably.

Was trying to watch it while doing some kitchen stuff, I managed to miss every single goal, but it seemed like we looked great up front and like clowns back down. I know we're trying to play with confidence and swagger but sometimes when you're leaking goals you just have to clear balls like your life mattered.

Still, nice to see Jota back on Song and Salah marching on. Setpiece goals, not really how we're set up though, and how are we not dealing with throw-ins when we actually have a coach just for that? Ha.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 22, 2023, 01:08:07 PM
i assume you watched the game in the closed vip-rooms or could you feel the whole stadium atmosphere live on the stands as well? (unfortunately i don't know this stadium and can't say anything about the vip stands and how they are designed).
and of course also a very nice gesture from Steve (Sportsbet.io) - hope for you three that the meeting for all parties then (outside of the game attendance) has also been worthwhile Smiley

Now that you ask I wonder what the setup in other stadiums are as well. Where I'm from in Southeast Asia, there are no VIP boxes, just "grandstand" box, in the middle with just sofas so it's pretty close to the field as well, players can actually (and have in the past) jumped up and hugged presidents etc haha.

But the two I've seen in England are high up above. Best views, since you see the entire pitch, but definitely lacking some of the fanatic atmosphere. At Anfield, for example, the best atmosphere seats are at the Kop -- but it's a sort of misnomer as no one sits at that section, and most of it's filled with season ticket holders. But you see almost nothing, to be honest. You wait til your team attacks your end, and hope they camp there all game so it's fun. The other half, if you're dominating, happens up field and you kind of are guessing what's going on.

The VIP boxes are above, and generally are quieter =D

As a neutral, I'd definitely take the VIP cushy seats. Drink, talk, watch everything. Not sure why Trofo/cryptofrka are not too drunk to respond here!

AZ lost their chances to fight for CL position next year in Ere divisie, but remain only Dutch representative in European cups SF, maybe they can repeat last year Feyenoord final, and make it is easier for Basel to get title

I have a feeling this is precisely what will happen in the end. I did think Basel was the frontrunner, and if they do make it to the final with Alkmaar, it's probably theirs, worth a punt for me if that happens. Or on Alkmaar on a "lift the title market" if the odds are delicious enough. They're going to be one of those teams that will disintegrate next season I feel, and they know it, so they might try and make it a last hurrah.

To fill in the table should I leave my address here or send you a PM?

You can leave a comment in the doc, or leave address here, or PM, all is good!

I wanted to login to my Betnomi account but it seems they do not allow TOR. I will figure it out later if there are anything (fund to access).
Betnomi Username: bitcoingirl
The btc address is on my profile page which is: bc1ql847ly3a0kaw6zhscc686a3lv7ve98qgay8422

Just message support and notify them about this pool. TOR is a mess more and more I find...

Thanks for hosting! It was fun but it's always a bit more tough with champions league since it's more or less over after group stages but exciting nonetheless.

I ended at 7th and only won one of the rounds so not sure I'm entitled to any prize or need to supply an address?

Loved having you here, and everyone else of course! I think I had a fair go at it, but Liverpool cost me, Napoli cost me, and I didn't use my brain.

7th is a prize spot! 10 mbtc ++ in fact. OP has full details, but I'll update the exact amounts. Send me an address, there are still 5 games left to play, so things can change but I prefer to chase down addresses now rather than later so I can prep my batch tx.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Odds, units advantage | Sportsbook | +87282 units on: April 21, 2023, 05:54:42 PM
^ It was more of a "value" proposition than anything else. Bayern haven't been playing at their best but I was hoping for a Tuchel masterpiece combined with a Pep tinkering. Neither happened!

Today's an easy bet for me. Yes, Saints are bottom of the league, and Arsenal right at the top, but I won't forget easily their massive win against City in the EFL cup. You just never can count out a team with pretty damned good players on their day...

100 units at Sportsbet on Saints to WIN vs Arsenal @18.60. Other odds: 16.00
Units advantage: 260
Bet ID: 643e45a91e4b050001aa366a

Running advantage after 53 bets: +5120 (+260)
All-time cumulative: +88,200
Running units after 52 bets (8W|44L): +2228 (-100)

Yeah, I haven't seen BetBuddy come up again today, even though it's the special match they must all at the office be watching. Can't say if it's super useful to me -- as I said I do like betting on form, but also against form. As it turns out Sevilla broke United's streak... but I actually lost the bet (needed a sending off and I always get the feeling Casemiro's a likely villain, shame he only managed to get a yellow).

Still many hours to Gunners/Saints so maybe something new comes up. I'd stay on CHTV if I were you guys, sure to be plenty of promos.

Good luck, CLS63!

I had a freebet waiting in the wing, so why not?

2050  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: April 21, 2023, 02:24:05 PM
Awesome news, Cro2 and Steve deserve more beers than they can buy, I'm sure Harkorede and casperBGD will only make it bigger the next time they can make it. Never as easy as it seems to arrange meetups, so it's actually pretty damned special whenever one is possible.

Enjoy the match, gentlemen!

I've made quite a few bets already on tonight's game, this is the Betbuilder I already did on BSFL last night.

But here are a few more. One on a HT lead and smash on a City victory why not?

And since they'll beat City, they can actually afford to give Saints 3 points, right? Heh heh

This was my early insurance freebet:

2051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | QFs on: April 20, 2023, 09:38:51 PM
^Lech Poznan is the bloody story of the entire European QFs, honestly.

You lose big at home to a semi-reasonable Italian team middling in their league, with very little hope of making the 9-point gap to Conference spots... Liverpool couldn't overcome 3 goals. Bayern couldn't do it. Benfica couldn't overcome 2 goals...

But Lech Poznan? Away? 3 shots on goal. 3 goals. Killer instinct.

Never mind they eventually conceded late, 6/1 odds on ML, their supporters would be going home happy anyway.

Awesome news and thanks for sharing yet another chance for us to win jerseys Wink

I've slapped together a Betbuilder and submitted a no-thinking response. I don't even know if the players I named are suspended or injured, so let's get this on!

(Should add a bonus point for a person whose betslip wins and has the highest odds too haha)

i heard my nick here... what exactly is this about? Wink
did cryptofrka and Trofo go to a stadium together and watch a game? Grin

That's the gist, they also meet legendary Steve... not just any game either, both teams are Sportsbet partners! Now they have to share at least 2 photos or we'll all be extremely disappointed.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 20, 2023, 05:25:26 PM
Anyone noticed this earlier or have I just not been going into the detailed match markets? Been spamming 1x2 for a really long time and thought I might do a Betbuilder tonight for Europa...

Then I noticed this little BetBuddy item:

As if the site were chiding me for all my picks, going against the grain, etc. Not stopping me from going Sevilla in a BB, and winning haha.

2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Last 16 on: April 20, 2023, 04:22:46 PM
^ I'm going Sevilla all the way. Odds aren't as interesting as the first leg (what a shame that was) but I've already got a couple of accas involving Feyenoord and Sevilla (both teams were worth their salt last game!).

There's so much at stake, I feel the value is really with the "underdogs" here. Hard not to give the nod to Ten Haag and Mourinho I suppose.

2055  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: April 20, 2023, 04:11:01 PM
Was good to see you all in Clubhouse TV last night, even though I left early, frustrated by two consecutive games on high-intensity Napoli still managing to lose out to rather boring Milan. But all plaudits deserved, they made the most of their key players, and you can probably blame Ciucciarelli for being so naively exciting.

Up next has to be the game Sportsbet will be tuning into all day long. Both partners need the win, one to lift a title, another to avoid the drop.

Gotta admit haven't watched Saints lately but you can't count them out. A draw will be the worst outcome?
2056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: April 20, 2023, 02:03:11 PM
Well, got totally blown out of the water. Bets, picks, Napoli nonsense heh.

So yeah, I was in Naples camp, the way they play, man they deserve no less than a final. But you know what we mostly forgot about? Experience, history, whatever you want to call it. Which the Milan teams each have bundles over Napoli.

Even the Portuguese side fell short, so one really has to wonder now if Inter / Milan are going to take it all. It wasn't the final I wanted, but Italy vs Spain or England has every ingredient needed for magic.

Early congratulations to bullrun2020bro and KTChampions, I agree, hard to see things move too much. May is a long way away, but I hope everyone can prepare their wallet address for prize disbursements. I'd like to settle everything in a single batch payment!

I prepared this sheet, could you check your Superbru usernames are correct, add your preferred wallet address to send payments to, and also your Betnomi usernames? We'll do it in a much more organised way next season (if I'm still organising that is heh heh).

Right, so everyone got exactly 1 point from Haaland, and exactly only famososMuertos got 1 for picking Kimmich. 3/4, well deserved for going out of the preferred lanes! No regrets, he was on my list, but this was too dangerous to not pick all the likeliest scorers.

And arallmuus, Benfica really saved me, so glad they didn't give up even though they were out. Would have been 3-0 down to you if that late goal didn't happen. Igebotz, rooting for me? What? =D

@aylabadia05 nice little package, enjoy!

@1miau, lovely bets, good luck! That reminds me I haven't done Betbuilders since the World Cup (pretty interesting combinations to make with shots assists, even tackles, I missed some big hits just by a tackle or two really in games I knew that would be tight). Second legs are always more careful, regardless of the situation, even if teams are chasing huge gaps it leads to aggressive play.

Weird watching the games tonight, and not really having any stake. This already is way beyond gone:
