This section is meant to be a free section, where anyone could make a thread for even the dumbest question, ex: Does XY coin have a website? Does XY coin have a block explorer? Will XY coin get dumped to 0? So after knowing and seeing this since months/years (I'm pretty sure you didn't join the forum yesterday), you really feel that you need to open another autistic anti-dash thread where you complain that they opened a progress thread? Should I open a thread where I throw in the question: Do you think the monero trolls should open another anti-dash thread or is *insert a huge number here* enough? Oh and I'll add some  s here because the number of anti-dash threads has grown exponentially since their BTC-E addition. Yeah, you should open that up--at least it will be a discussion and not a bunch of links to dashers circle jerking around effigies of Evan. Replace "dashers" with "vanillers" and "Evan" with "johnconner" and you've described the vcash forum.  Look at traum's history. Every few months, he pumps a new shitcoin that promptly fails to go anywhere. He's obviously very butthurt gmax and smooth exposed vcash's stolen code, and out for revenge on Monero. Why else would he try to white knight for Tau's DashSpam, which is a blatant forum rule violation? |

Ads are typically not allowed in posts (outside of the signature area) because they are annoying and off-topic. It is especially disallowed to put ads or signatures at the bottom of all of your posts. That seems crystal clear, but I'm not sure if Tao will be able to understand it.  EDIT: Sure enough, Tao is posting about how proud he is of his DashSpam. I knew he'd have difficulty understanding the anti-spam rules. |

Marc was very disappointed Nxt didn't gain the value he expected. We all did at Nxt, but the one Nxt really has is one of the best working code of a real decentralized crypto platform. Nxt 2.0 will be very competitive and will solve the scalability problem all crypto's are dealing with. Forging (mining in Nxt) will become more profitable in 2.0, because forging will be done to multiple blockchains (and Nxt is only one them). Interesting times!  Nxt 2.0 isn't any less of an over-engineered hot mess than 1.0 was. 2.0 won't even have the same amount of support as the original, now that ETH and two dozen other smart contract platforms are coming Soon. Are you guys really doing TA on charts that have a 1-2 BTC daily volume to try to find good news? Anything to fit your delusional narrative I guess. The "good news" is XMR is making a stunning recovery, leading the altcoin sector and up 12%+ with nobody willing to short it. Today's "delusional narrative" is the DashHole fairy tale about how BTC-E is a big deal for the Evan's Gate cult and a crushing blow to Monero. But that's not what the shooting star indicates. And pointing out a single feature on the chart is hardly "TA." Obviously you would rather the shooting star go unnoticed and unremarked upon. I wonder why that is?  |

What a joke adding dash scam. Are BTC-E even that big news these days?
I'm pretty sure anyone who wanted a sack of scam coins could have picked them up in the last 2 years. BTC-E adds coins that provide incentives pay them bribes to be listed. That's why Novacoin is there. Novacoin is there because it is an old coin - early 2013. Back then there were only a few dozen alts, and BTC-E listed them all (and then delisted the non performers). Then in about Oct 2013 they stopped adding new coins. So lots of coins that had a lot of volume at one point (Doge, Blackcoin, Dash, etc) didn't get listed. They were concentrating on the Bitcoin market - but seem to have decided to get back into alts again. BTC-E did not list all coins available. You must have confused them with Vircurex (the Cryptsy of 2013)! IIRC, BTC-E admitted Novacoin bribed them, outrage ensured, and they finally agreed to burn their bribe coins. |

Today they announced adding eth and dash paired to btc.
Seems like they want to be in on the volume.

It was a funny time when I found out the Monero devs had secret miners and my own farm had not remotely the performance they had. Needless to say I felt s.. Same about Dash in the beginning. Now both are over that phase. Both have been further developed. But objectively can the state of development between the two even be compared? To me it seems like a caffeinated powerhouse versus spaced out depressed in terms of technological comparison. Monero should have stepped up its game when it still could.

There was no orders-of-magnitude type speed-up when more efficient mining software became publicly available. Yes lots of dash spamming everywhere. How is tao not already getting moderated back to the black lagoon that is the dash thread. He's not too bad a person but he sure does output a good work load of spam each day. Best contain him before we have to have another main board created and just hand this one over for dash enthusiasm/pumping. Qwizzie is another one. Seems an okay kinda person but he can output pages of spam, he's relentless with his wizard charts and crystal ball insights all moon shots for dash . Imagine if these guys joined a worthy cause...
Can you imagine the probability of your charts only every showing imminent moon shots for a coin and no hints of down trends ever?
If they must have one thread here now for announcing every little thing (that could be announced in the dash thread) let's keep it to one thread. I see a bunch of them littering up the main board constantly.
Do they honestly think there are those that have not heard of the dash/darkcoin scam in crypto and are able to locate the dash thread if they want to read the next planned scheme/gimmick using the instamine tokens?
I suppose the BTCe news is something to post on the main board so fair enough. But not every new gimmick evans et al dreams up needs to be thrashed out here with a new thread each time. Just pile it all on to one dash pump thread if you have to have it on the main board.
Just call the new thread "noobs required to prop up our scam/dishonest scheme - could profit but likely to lose" then all the dashers can get together on there ready to pounce on any new blood entering the main board. If they do that and start with an honest OP saying yeah it was a scam but actually after 2 years you can see we have used some of our instamine scammed coins to help develop the coin and somehow suck in others who are actually loyal to this scheme. We are still rolling and possibly could continue to roll along for a while longer - here are some reasons to take a risk wasting energy and btc on dash... then all dashers just go wild with the pro dash rhetoric/predictions and everyone else just stays out of the thread. Seems the best way forward.
If dash can stay above $4 for another month they will be doing very well.
Dash (unlike Darkcoin) has a giant Google problem because it is such a generic term. Thus we see Tao and the rest trying to game PageRank by spamming SEO links everywhere. DashHoles are turning Bitcointalk's alt subs into a link farm to further their Dash spamdexing business requirements. |

Dash listed on BTC-E is a non event. As for the impact on the market vs XMR the shooting star in DASH/XMR speaks volumes
Dash on BTC-E is as important as its listings on Exmo and Livecoin. IE, not at all. Wake me up when it gets on a modern, relevant exchange that gives a shit about supporting innovation and providing what its customers want. Thanks for the pro tip on that shooting star. It dwarfs investopedia's textbook example!  I suspect that shooting star is BTC-E accumulating XMR (using their instamined Dash bribe) so they can profit from the eventual (post GUI) listing. Lending rates on XMR are still trivial. It speaks volumes that ~nobody is willing to short XMR on a day when it's up 12%+. |

DASH was just added to BTC-e. Pretty disappointing.  Well that sucks. BTC-e is the perfect marketplace for the bitcoin alternative (which XMR needs to become). Monero user not affected. If Kraken or Gemini had added Dash, I'd be a bit miffed. But BTC-e is a has-been exchange, due to nothing other than their own refusal to listen to one of their oldest and most loyal customers. This is nothing to pout about; it only cements Dash's shady reputation as a coin that bribes exchanges with instamined coins. Dash is a good fit for Novacoin's main exchange, but in a month nobody will even care about this non-event. I left BTC-e years ago precisely because the bulk of my non-BTC stack needed to shift from XPM to XMR. They were informed I won't return until they offer XMR, but choose to sit on their thumbs as the rapidly evolving altcoin world passed them by. Result? They lost out on $100s of millions in trading volume as Polo showed the world what an exchange that supports innovation looks like. Dash volume isn't moving off Polo, because the hot money and dumb kids love their IPO/ICO scams too much. Dash will be delisted from BTC-e (as it was from Bittrex) for lack of volume in less time than IXcoin lasted there. |
