Interesting. Although, I wonder about the use case and scenario...
you wonder why anonymous phone calls would be useful? Not that specifically, but the actual process by which you could perform such a task at a payphone. I would find it hard to punch in a private key on a 10key pad. Also, I would have to wonder at what point in the process does it become non-anonymous, to avoid such an absurdity. But I still like the idea. i read 'payphone' to mean a piece of software you run on your PC that's hooked up to your mic/headphones... not a glass box on the side of the road with a big clunky machine in it.

convert your bitcoins into cash immediately, which if your doing that then whast the point, just sell them for cash to start with
the point is not everyone has a credit card, or even if they do have one, not everyone wants it connected to their purchases. there have been so many times lately where i've been to a site and really wished they accepted bitcoins, because for me, they're 100x more convenient. example: http://rapidxhtml.com looks like a great service, but completely useless to me because they only accept paypal.

Not that I completely understand the difficulty calculation, but those companies would have the resources to push the difficulty up a million-fold. That makes your miner a million times less profitable, while still costing the same amount of money to run.
but the only reason they would do that would be if bitcoins were worth a lot more than they are now. bringing your profitability back up again.

On cpanel you can setup many domains under just one account as long as you activate the addon-domains to the package of your user.
But, for security/organizational reasons I would advise you to install each domain under a diferent user.
If you need help with WHM shoot me a PM. Or I can tell you how I would do it.
1- Create a reseller account on WHM(to avoid using root as a reseller) 2- Create hosting packages 3- Attribute packages to the reseller 4- Login to the reseller account 5- Create user/users 6- Login user(s) to cpanel and configure the domain(s)
thanks... will PM you. 'fully managed' dedicated hosting - super easy shared hosting - super easy 'fully managed' vps - super complicated

min payout of 5 btc means most people will be waiting years to earn anything from op fab.
but it sounds like you might actually have a chance.

not sure about bitcoin (or USD) but in Australia, you can take your half bank note and redeem it for half the face value: If between 20 per cent and 80 per cent is missing: The banknote is regarded as incomplete and value is paid in proportion with the percentage remaining, e.g. half face value if half the banknote is present. http://www.rba.gov.au/banknotes/damaged/policy.html

if anyone can help me with a vps setup i'd appreciate it.
i've used cpanel plenty of times before but never 'whm' so i'm lost there.
i've paid for a vps and need to get my initial domain set up but don't know the best way to do it.
i'm NOT a reseller... so i guess my question is, can i set up heaps of domains under just one cpanel/ftp account or do i need to make a separate account for each?
i've contacted support and they are somewhat helpful but slow to respond.

Keep it mature everyone, be nice and polite and honest if you will be using their services or not. I really think if they grasp they could have more business possibly based on accepting this form of currency, it would be good. We have a committment from them to accept bitcoins and I am talking to their accouting person to get this setup. So anyone who emailed them, thank you. I will post when they are up and running. It would be nice if everyone that contacted them would make a small donation to stand behind the spam effort. Thanks! great one !! just send them 10 btc EDIT: THEIR ADRESS DOESNT WORK !! WAIT UNTIL THEY FIX IT ! if you view the source, you can see that the uppercasing is simply being done by CSS... therefore you can see the original and (presumably) correct bitcoin address in their source code: 1H63WEQbK45K3xgC7DRfphMWMJMZHrX542

i was just thinking how excited people would have been if it had gone from $2.04 to $2.72.
true, there are many easily excitable in the audience. i fail to understand your post and your reason for editing my figures. I failed to understand your intended numbers then. I apology for assuming it was a typo. Which hopefully adds atleast a bit more sense to my post. Not that there usually is much to mine to begin with ;p Cheers it was not a typo. it was a comment on the fact that: $2.04 to $2.72 in a day doesn't seem to have caused much excitement $20.40 to $27.20 in a day would have had people jumping up and down like crazy and posting multiple 'rally' threads. $204 to $272 in a day would probably have people cumming in their pants. ...even though it's all the same thing pretty much.

bump... someone is buying right now.
surprised there's no 'rally' thread popping up... they've been prompted by smaller rises than this before. $2.04 to $2.72 is huuuuuge.

Hmm. "Down for maintenance" :/
Yup. Here too. It's been down long enough to have re-built the server (if they are set up proficiently) and depending on the nature of their problems of this morning that could be a prudent thing to do. It's annoying that they have not put anything on their blog. What's even more annoying is they replaced the API ticker with the text "Down for maintenance". It screws up my parser. your parser is broken.

i had a bid at $1.99 but after seeing a low of $2.04 i moved it down quite a bit.
when it spikes down, it usually goes much lower than the previous low, and $0.05 is too small a difference.
i could be waiting a while though...

Give me some bitcoin. I run at 150 mhash/s and am not earning much at all. It's disappointing to mine and get hardly anything back. 18b94MMTWd7bWaUWcq7VHmizgswP2dK6fM
stop mining. Well I have now because it costs me the same amount in electricity. thank you. everyone else stop mining too, please. the difficulty is still higher than i'd prefer. piglet, sorry to hijack your powdered milk thread... and thanks for the bit buck.
