If you ask me, Meta is the place, often when I report the ann thread bumping spammers, the Ann threads get deleted and/or some of the bumping accounts get banned/nuked. Keep it here, better exposure to mod's attention.

Quick reference to the rules : 8. No threats to inflict bodily harm, death threats.
Many have lost their accounts (banned) because of a stupid act of plagiarism, (some of them were also "drunk") so basically you have a better outcome, just a negstive feedback.

I thought that the time of the "Great Project" shitposting spam is over but apparently some old bumping shitbots woke up again. A whole thread full of good project.. it's not something you see every day preat project
One funny one bounties? hairdrop?

Just another note here, when the bot is quoting a message which could not be verified, you should post a warning like ( failed to verify), otherwise everyone can stake a fake addresses and possibly scam people.

Those warnings never end,if you use Chrome update your browser ASAP. Read more below or follow the source link under the quote. New Chrome 0-day Bug Under Active Attacks – Update Your Browser Now!Attention readers, if you are using Chrome on your Windows, Mac, and Linux computers, you need to update your web browsing software immediately to the latest version Google released earlier today. With the release of Chrome 78.0.3904.87, Google is warning billions of users to install an urgent software update immediately to patch two high severity vulnerabilities, one of which attackers are actively exploiting in the wild to hijack computers. Without revealing technical details of the vulnerability, the Chrome security team only says that both issues are use-after-free vulnerabilities, one affecting Chrome's audio component (CVE-2019-13720) while the other resides in the PDFium (CVE-2019-13721) library.
The use-after-free vulnerability is a class of memory corruption issues that allows corruption or modification of data in the memory, enabling an unprivileged user to escalate privileges on an affected system or software. Thus, both flaws could enable remote attackers to gain privileges on the Chrome web browser just by convincing targeted users into visiting a malicious website, allowing them to escape sandbox protections and run arbitrary malicious code on the targeted systems.

@LoyceV, can you please drop a list of accounts for this thread > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5196005.0It will be a short one for sure but.. we need to keep an eye on it for a while.. I made a few reports but I don't want to scare the bots and we need evidence so we can catch them all

Is there a way to see if I have enabled the passphrase for my trezor one hw wallet?
I'm planning to update my firmware and I will test the seed first but couldn't find info If I can test the passphrase as well.
I know the passphrase but I'm not sure if I have enabled it when I set it up.

Just a quick and short entry here.
It's just a forum and Theymos and Cyrus own it, they decide who will be a moderator, so basically there are no public ellections, you can't impeach anyone, the only way is to convince the admins that he is on the wrong way, but I really doubt they will bite it.

~ thanks iasenko, by change this account problem this message is proved?
I'm not 100% sure what exactly you are asking but I'll answer what I presume you are worried about. If your account get compromised or you somehow loose access to it, by signing an message from this address you staked now,you will prove that you are the original owner of the account, and you have a chance to recover it, following the recovery procedures.

Added, I see you edited your subject, now it look more like application You can remove me from the list, I don't want to be a merit source any longer and as such I did not proceed with my application thread (will archive it now, thanks).
No problem, removed. Suggestions: 1.Sort by date of applications 2.Collection of 10 Posts if achieved or not. (Ex. Hhampuz haven't started a single thing on his own application until now, so 10 posts has not been filled yet)
Its also necessary IMO. That's all.
🤔🤨 I thought Hhampuz, pugman and bitmover was already a Source?...
Sorted by date of application. If I see another application (like Hhampuz's one) I will add the additional column with status. OP updated.

I've posted this long ago in another thread, but applies for here as well Instead of having so many different coins under the name isn't it better just to add the earned merit to the airdropped like :
Merit: 10+256
Or total merit/earned merit - this will save more space Wink
Merit: 266/256 Another thought is to replace the airdropped merit with a symbol. Like platinum coin for 1000, golden for 500, silver for 250 etc.

We have no pumpkins here this year that's why I made a little variation.

I think the list is for Merit source applications that have not yet been approved by Theymos (open applications). AFAIK, @Coolcryptovator is now a merit source. I stand to be corrected thouAccording to the link given by suchmoon, he is already a MS> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183702.0I believe Kalemder from the Turkish section also submitted a merit source application (he listed many valuable messages from the local boards which later led to a source application after suggestions by the community)... Are you talking about this post : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183702.msg52424104#msg52424104I wend trough it but I didn't find really an application or request to theymos, althow it can be used as one for sure.

You have the "report to the mod" link in the bottom right corner of every post. Just use it when you see something spammy. We are keeping eye on the forum, don't worry. It's a matter of time such 0-value posts to be deleted A good place to start looking for those is here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol

I know, I know I have no doubt about that. It's just me being petulant (someone else would say anal) on the details.
ROFL... You can add ~
Thanks, those were quite old and were not bumped lately, and the status was unknowed. But anyway I added them to the list. Thanks guys for helping. OK, taking them out of the list
