2141  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 🔴🔴 [POLL] What top prize tickles your fancy? 🔴🔴 on: June 28, 2019, 10:47:29 PM
Wanna definitely join ya and I'd choose BTC over anything (even Lamborghini) but with some questions in my mind:

- As these numbers (in winnings) are extremely high, what do you expect from your affiliates?

- Those who participate in this, will they get paid their affiliate commissions? If yes, then is there are minimum withdrawal or we get a commission immediately after a sale takes place?

- What about taxes? Who will pay them?
Because the prizes are too big, they are surely taxable. If BTC is to be taken, then there's no issue as BTC can be kept hodl but what if someone choose Ghini over BTC (or any other crypto of their choice)?
2142  Economy / Services / Re: 🎲 DuckDice.io hiring! Looking for a long-term Twitter partners 🎲 on: June 28, 2019, 10:30:21 PM
I know about paid tweets and some even pay more than $20 - 30 per tweet and a few bucks less per retweet to a reputed Twitter handle with an enormous amount of followers. What I don't get here is, why didn't you directly post your offer here for those with 3k+ followers be it if BTC or payments based on fiat value of BTC?
Even I've got one but not specifically based on cryptocurrency genre, so I guess no chance for me but please keep some transparency to get "many" offers instead of "much".
2143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {WARNING} Cybersecurity vulnerabilities/flaws that may affect you. Up to date. on: June 28, 2019, 10:15:48 PM
With all the ado going about these vulnerabilities where we are talking mostly about malwares, can someone throw some light on ransomware too which was on everyone's lips as it used to hack the PCs and hackers asking for BTC as extortion money to give back your data? That is one major thing that puts crypto under red light.
2144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help with Bitcoin transaction on: June 28, 2019, 05:40:36 PM
Your transaction got confirmed in 5 hours, didn't get it where did you send just 0.0000397 BTC or was it sent to change address?

Anyways, as BTC is moving to its new parabolic move (and just before a day or two I said something else that BTC is confirming the transactions quick at lower values), I believe that sending at least 10k - 30k Satoshis as fee shouldn't bother you much considering higher chances of high Satoshi fee getting accepted (doesn't mean you need to send hiked up amounts worth 0.001 or more BTC as we've SegWit that has cut down the fees to great values).

For those who don't want to get stuck, please check this website https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,2h
Check the least bar of Satoshi from which green lines start and use one bar above per byte to get your txn confirmed during those hours.
2145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New way of scam, be aware on: June 28, 2019, 09:47:35 AM
This had been one of the most stupid scams I came across. I've had a comment in of the threads with the exact same issue and there I told this that the name of the exchange I was told by the scammer was something else. It's utter non-sense and like harizen said, even I thought that why is he being so much generous on me by wanting to give me ~BTC0.2 for nothing but just redemption of his coins? At first stance, I thought that he must be wanting my KYC to get his funds withdrawn but no, his intention was to scam me for just BTC0.02 (yeah, it was JUST 0.02 for him as he was iterating it like 0.02 against 2 BTC is a drop out of an ocean). It's not necessary that you need someone to spoonfeed you to make you aware of all such types of scams, you need brain in order to think and act instead of taking action immediately under the effect of greed.
2146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {WARNING} Cybersecurity vulnerabilities/flaws that may affect you. Up to date. on: June 28, 2019, 07:39:38 AM
Is the solution on these flaws by updating it?. Anyway, I don't have any of those mention right now. I used VLC before but seems like they have problems that you'll encounter. Is there any other programs that can affect your cyber security as of now?. Does apple mobile devices can be affected too?.

I believe that any device that is connected to the internet and most importantly, gets filled with a lot of apps every now and then (even if it passes the Security measures of Siri), I believe it is still vulnerable to getting hacked and your data stolen.

For you to save your coins in your phone:

- Don't save your keys in it at all.
- Use 2FA and password and never forget it at any cost.
- If you've got email and phone verification to login, I'd still suggest you 2FA over these as emails can be hacked as well as SMSes can also be watched.
- Guard your wallet with a password different than the one you'll use to get into it (like when you tap on that wallet, it should ask for a pattern/password for extra security).
2147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WARNING! to all VLC player users! Stop using VLC and update it now!! on: June 28, 2019, 05:02:06 AM
Even if my PC has a reputed Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware/Anti-Spyware software to ^protect^ my PC, should I still consider it compromised if my OS is pirated?

Yes, your system is still vulnerable against zero-day exploit, especially due to update is disabled by default on some pirate distribution.

And what about a crack (or an activator) that allows you to freely update your software even with a fake key? If my OS remains updated, is it still vulnerable to hacks just because it isn't genuine?

4) I've an Antivirus which is itself cracked to use its Premium features

4) No Idea

Sorry for the incomplete statement there.
What I mean is:
What if I have an Antivirus software which is cracked by a software from some website to use its Premium features like adding extra database of all the known viruses from that Antivirus company, even though my Windows is genuine and not cracked?

  • Would this product be useful to you? Would you use it regularly?

If it has got the potential to catch my eye, why wouldn't I?
If your app is really trustworthy and is trusted by many people with great tech knowledge, I won't be scared of using it.

Quote
  • What would you like to see changed?

I used to play in forex markets and there used to be this very exact term which is being used for actually doing trading on one click (opening trades without MetaTrader asking you back to watch and set up the price and instead, just click on Buy/Sell to get your order (trade) executed. Can I see such feature in this product?

Quote
  • What could I do to make tokenfolio better?

As said above, I expect it to deliver one click trading with a break-up of all the amounts with fee in total that we're making purchase of.

--snip--

Shrimpy is doing some really cool things. The difference between our products is that you have to trust them with your binance api keys and in theory it could get hacked. Mine uses a web3 wallet and is trustless so you are always in control of your keys.

So am I forced to use it on a DEX only (i.e. the kyber network) or can I also try my hands on exchanges like Binance with this product? That's because the fees are quite expensive compared to Binance.

1. Buyer issue Lol, KYC

To whom? Escrow or the seller party?

Quote
2. Seller Issue contract

Ok, this one's fine and FTFY.

Quote
3. Buyer issue POF MT199 to seller bank to bank
4. Seller makes POC(satoshi)

Cool, but would you sell it to someone with some given advance at first and some after release of BTC?

Quote
5. Buyer makes  payment bank to bank or via escrow.

Major question: Who will be playing the role of escrow here?

Quote
6. Seller send BTC to buyer

What's the guarantee? It's 5k BTC you're talking to crack a deal, brother and it's not some sweet that's eaten up and digested.
2150  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to fund a PORN? on: June 27, 2019, 11:19:48 PM
--snip--

I prefer investors instead of sharks tbh.

And the money is not really in pay for view content, anymore, cause your full video will be fast everywhere online - so ad partnerships with pornhub & co is imo way better. It's like youtube content monetization and the fact that i can bring many viewers makes it better for success int his case.
Sure there DMCA and other options to save your copyright, but hey, we talk about porn.

What I don't get here is:

- What's your profit in making such videos when the truth is, almost all of such videos are available online in a matter of minutes once they get published? Why would anyone pay you to watch them? (Not asking about Pay Per View but buying Premium service of a reputed porn website and then watching).

- And why are you looking for sponsors, Porn literally doesn't ask for sponsors but get it upfront because it's PORN. Is it illegal at your place to take a loan for the same?

- Have you got any plans in your mind to repay your investors (or even your bank if you apply and get sanctioned a loan) if what you've expected won't be achieved? If you have no backup and you don't really market it to an extent that could reach out to an audience really willing to pay you to watch your video/s, do you have anything that could be of any value just in case you are needed to repay during some mentioned time based on your agreement?
2151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: free / low cost exchange on: June 27, 2019, 10:57:58 PM
Binance is good considering your "low" fee request here if you've got enough money in your pants to wager there.

"Trading Fees

If you are not using BNB (Binance Coin) to pay your trading fees, each trade will carry a standard fee of 0.1%.

Using BNB for transaction fees applies a discount to your trading fee. By default, if you hold BNB in your account, your trading fees will be automatically subtracted from your BNB balance. (See: Using BNB for Fees)

For other options to lower fees (such as maker/taker/volume discounts), or to view your account's trading fee, please check our Fee Schedule.
"

Check the Fee Schedule link to know more and I believe that 0.1% is also quite lower compared to 0.15% (almost a 33% cut)

Almost all cracked versions of valuable Software (windows, photoshop, etc..) are infected with malware.
If you are using cracked software, you should definitely regard your computer as compromised.

Even if my PC has a reputed Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware/Anti-Spyware software to ^protect^ my PC, should I still consider it compromised if my OS is pirated?

Quote
Just because noone stole cryptos from you yet, it doesn't mean that they can't. Chances are high that they have access to your computer and/or it is used for spam mails / any other kind of botnet.

Once again, what about those preventive softwares?

Quote
Cracking a software so it is able to run without activation keys etc. is not an easy task. It takes quite some time and they want to be paid for that work.

If you REALLY insist on using cracked software, use linux as main OS and run all of this cracked stuff in a virtual machine if you really can't just use the open source alternatives.

Ok, I've got some extra questions here for more knowledge and I really don't want to make an extra thread for the same:

What IF?

1) I run Pirated Windows in a Linux OS based PC through Virtual Machine software
2) I run Linux OS in a Pirated Windows through Virtual Machine software and keep my coins in Linux
3) I run both by installing both these OS in one PC simultaneously
4) I've an Antivirus which is itself cracked to use its Premium features
2153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to 5 digits - Congratulations everyone! on: June 27, 2019, 04:21:23 PM
To everyone, this shows that BTC repeats its old times and the pace is vociferous. I believe that BTC can go heights when it comes to value, the major cause behind this prediction is: SCALABILITY
During 2017-18, the difficulty went to its all time high while BTC was approaching for $20k and it was near already, but this time, the difficulty broke all old records by simply getting to a new ATH every single day during the past few days while BTC was still struggling between $6k - $9k. Finally, it broke the line that was stopping it, by breaking the $12k super important resistance which makes us believe we are in the bull run. But with every parabolic move, there comes a correction and it may be between 20-30% from its fresh high this year. Let's not just sell under panic even if it tumbles down a bit becau we all know that now, BTC is not that old BTC that used to get manipulated easily but a very strong BTC which, even in this bull run, is maki everyone happy with the same least amount of fees we were paying during past days. It's not the same like in 2017-18 when, to get your transaction confirmed, you even needed to pay $100.
2154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For those who actually believed the "10 years jail for using BTC" non sense on: June 25, 2019, 02:36:24 PM
Why is this even published in English? You'd think this would be all in their native language and keep the confusion away from other countries citizens, I am sure these post will lead to people in other countries being scared and confused.

What has language to do anything with what I said here?
It's actually great the news was spread in English so to let people know a bit more about what it's all actually about. Everyone was as much confused and panicked as they used to be, after the news showed up with a misleading title that shook people at Global level. I pursued my responsibility here by sharing a bit more, actually tried to fetch and share reality out of the shit and garbage these guys have spread amongst public. Because Bitcoin is considered to be a global cryptocurrency, let us help each other by letting everyone know the truth and instead of talking about language gaps we should tell everyone in their own language and make them aware about this as India is a growing economy and a market that could lead this speculative asset to a very special value we already witnessed during 2017-18 surge based on its usage in our country.

Oh Lord DarkStar_, please declare that the World Word War has ended already and there had been enough entries that flooded in as a Tsunami for a competition that never existed (applaud). Please ask your men to let the World live free from talks (let this thread remain on-topic as mentioned in its title - FULL).

To those who were waiting for me to enter this competition, the simplest way to stop those blind people from submitting applications can be:

FULL - THIS CAMPAIGN (CHIPMIXER) IS FULL SO STOP PROVING YOURSELF A BLIND CHIROPTERAN AND LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
You can adjust the size of the font you believe which can make a blind person watch it clearly Wink.
Also, please add this:

"Use Google Translate if you are unable to understand English."
2156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WARNING! to all VLC player users! Stop using VLC and update it now!! on: June 22, 2019, 04:28:19 PM
What if?
I don't keep any private key in a PC I've used this media player in, while also having a 2fa enabled in wallet that also asks for a password to get into it?
Am I considered safe in that situation?

You're safe, but they still could make a copy of your wallet files & browser files (history, cookies, download list, etc.) which could be used to brute-force or social-engineering attack.

And even if these guys are able to copy my wallet files and/or browser files like you said, can't I save my coins by sending all of them out of that wallet into a secure wallet I maybe use in my smartphone or another offline PC?

What if?
The wallet I use is infected itself (just like the case in Electrum)?

Just out of curiosity, we all mostly use pirated Windows by downloading some Windows activators (like KMSpico) and using them to update our key and make this thing work without any issues. But, the question here is, are these activators safe? Can't they have the full data of my PC if they try to hack it through any Trojan or other virus/es when they're able to bypass Windows security to check whether our installed Windows is genuine or not?
2157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WARNING! to all VLC player users! Stop using VLC and update it now!! on: June 22, 2019, 02:32:54 PM
Which versions should I actually use as of now (that are not infected)?

I'm a fan of VLC media player just because of their (formerly 200% but now) 150% extra volume feature in it as well as multi-audio function but after watching this, I believe we are now in an era when almost every single thing that comes from internet (may it be a movie or a .exe executable file itself or almost anything) has the potential to steal our coins and the only way that looks trustworthy is to keep them either in an offline PC or a paper or maybe hardware (like ledger nano s). Even though, I still doubt that hackers have gone so insane before BTC as the only reason that makes them crazy about it is that, BITCOIN IS COMPLETELY DIGITAL and it can be hacked almost easily if they're able to get into a PC of someone.

What if?
I don't keep any private key in a PC I've used this media player in, while also having a 2fa enabled in wallet that also asks for a password to get into it?
Am I considered safe in that situation?
2158  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the best websites to follow the btc market in live? on: June 21, 2019, 11:59:50 PM
I love to know an average instead of checking each and every exchange and that average value is from the best exchanges with highest volumes - http://preev.com/

But, I'm not a savvy in case of watching charts with a lot of indicators on it, so I truly rely on Binance and Bitstamp with their live charts for prices. As of margin trading, I believe there's a slight difference between Bitmex rates and normal exchange rates, so I look for the difference by watching both Bitmex charts and Bitstamp charts and then look for average price over preev.
2159  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin back to 5 digits - Congratulations everyone! on: June 21, 2019, 11:45:04 PM
On this very moment I'm typing, I'm glad to share this that BTC is now par $10k and we've entered the new rally towards $15k and more. I wish all those genuine hodlers the taste of success they were waiting for while hodling BTC and feel extremely sorry for those who sold down under $3500 or more but less than half of $10k under the pressure of lots of FUD and panic waves that went throughout the whole year of 2018 (except its beginning).

I believe we are all set for a huge rally, get your seat belts on guys.
2160  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: AMFEIX - is it legit? on: June 21, 2019, 11:33:51 PM
after joining telegram the admins told me i should only ask questions on the website, via chat. it seems to me like they don't want to get too many questions.

I know about an exchange here which does the same, but that's for your own safety.
But in regards to this website and the admins, I believe they should not have any problems answering your queries publicly as this is an investment site and they should be transparent if they will actually be returning you the profits (though, for at least 5 - 10 months, they will be returning you your money back and that also depends on their mood based on what they claimed in their FAQ).

Quote
the company is registered in UAE and i cant find the owners name.
when i asked on telegram about who are the traders an admin told me "if everything works fine then why do you need our name? just enjoy the profits" which seems strange.

Ask him if he knows his dad's name too? /s
It's a ridiculous response if you ask me, that when you're investing ~$1000 which can be an expense of at least 3 - 4 months of an average layman, you can definitely expect transparency and if they don't want to expose their names, it means there are more chances of scamming and running away with your money than returning it.

They are too frank not to be believed when they say no guarantees whatsoever. But hey, who would actually invest in their shitty project when you can hodl yourself and wait for a hike? Come on, believe in yourself, trade yourself or keep it as trading doesn't need minimum BTC0.1 to start and I believe you're clever enough to understand what is the worth of BTC at the moment.
