Time to let it go.

Please. I'm letting you go and never return to this thread. If you have a meta complaint there is a board for that. Thank you!
2162  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller is a dangerous person to deal with - avoid on: November 01, 2021, 06:27:15 PM
This thread is unhealthy and needs to be locked.

I don't know where I read that, but it makes sense that "the accused" must have a platform (the thread) to respond to the accusation made against them. Surely it follows an unlocked thread that is referenced in the Flag is that platform?

Flag not supported at this point given:

The terms of creating Flags is quite clear in that the thread cannot be a self moderated one (this thread is self moderated) and the thread cannot be locked.   You did not create the thread, therefore, you cannot guarantee that the thread won't ever be locked.

2163  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack making 120,000 dollars disappear from my account! on: November 01, 2021, 02:25:21 PM
Would you kindly tell me if you believe that the probability of them refunding a duplicate bet that lost is greater than 0.0%.

Yes, as per FJ answer above I would expect them to refund duplicate bets that exceed 100k (i.e. invalid bet according to their TOS).

Let us know if you experienced otherwise.
2164  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack making 120,000 dollars disappear from my account! on: November 01, 2021, 02:12:57 PM
Oh I understand, thank you very much. You said it. but you missed 2 words. "They should not accept invalid bets that win to begin with". Maybe they should hire you to better their system.

Did you lose any duplicate or otherwise invalid bets? If you did, complain to FJ and let us know how it goes. If they don't refund you then you might have a case.
2165  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack making 120,000 dollars disappear from my account! on: November 01, 2021, 01:58:54 PM
Oh ok, very interesting. So different bets could be interpreted as the same bet according to the current result of the game, only after the result is over and is a winning bet. anything else you would like to add to their terms?

Or you could try reading what I actually posted. I don't like casinos making changes to bets after the fact. They should not accept invalid bets to begin with.

That doesn't make your duplicate bets valid.
2166  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack making 120,000 dollars disappear from my account! on: November 01, 2021, 01:48:10 PM
You can't argue when bad faith is involved. Those 4 bets are clearly not the same bet. "who will win the rest of the match" is not the same bet as "full time result".

It is the same if the current score is 0:0.

The casino should not allow identical bets to be placed to begin with, instead of cancelling them after the fact. But you have no case here and you're just digging your hole deeper with dishonest statements. I take it you won 90k+ EUR, which is near the max winning, and that's all you're entitled to.
2167  Other / Meta / Re: LETTER OF APPEAL FOR PERMANENT BAN LIFT on: November 01, 2021, 01:14:03 PM
Your ban followed the deletion of this thread: https://ninjastic.space/topic/5367837

You did provide some references via embedded links but that's a really shitty way of doing it. Use proper quotes.

If this is what caused your ban, you might be able to get unbanned.

backup quarterback Cooper Rush

There you go, another proof. Also the Seahawks.

Only the Texans failed to take advantage of this new science.
2169  Other / Meta / Re: Post Deleted For No Good Reason on: November 01, 2021, 11:47:07 AM
One possibility is that one of the posts you quoted got deleted, because if I'm not mistaken when that happens yours gets deleted as well.

Sometimes. And it's likely that this is what happened. Obito's post is gone too.

This is the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5360353

A very fitting end to that afore mentioned locked thread, I might add...

Maybe some paint thinner and bleach can cure that too.

Edit 2: did anyone watched the Bengals vs Jets game? how did the Bengals lost that game while playing against a backup QB?

The aforementioned backup QB was throwing AND catching TDs (well, a 2-pointer but still), that's how. Granted I only watched the end of it so I'm an unreliable witness Smiley

Saints (with a backup QB too) were beating Bucs until a safety call was overturned and Brady turned it into 7 points.

Edit: Saints did win after all, so backup QBs are obviously much better than the famous guys. #science

He is acting like a shill in attacking anyone who questions his project.

Is it? "His" project? Anyone capable of keeping an open mind will see why you keep repeating this.

Unfortunately, you have shown yourself to be incapable of looking at things objectively. To you, everything is about which 'tribe' someone is in.

The first sentence can be considered an opinion and it would be for others to judge (e.g. via trust exclusions). The second is just plain false.

Doesn't stop you from repeating these fallacious claims as facts.

This reaction shows this thread (opened by you) is personal in nature, and that you do not actually believe I am "dangerous" to deal with.

I do believe that you are dangerous to deal with, on the basis of facts listed in the OP. Note that I did not put your run-in with dkbit98 into the OP - I may reconsider if you resort to your usual shenanigans like doxing - so my opinion about it shows nothing of what you're implying. It's not trolling that makes you dangerous. It's your deceptive, purposeful, malicious actions that go far beyond forum disagreements.
2173  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller is a dangerous person to deal with - avoid on: October 31, 2021, 07:18:08 PM
I see things differently.  Assuming no posts were deleted from that thread, it appeared to me that dkbit98 refuted QS's comments based solely on his reputation.  QS's reputation aside, I've always thought of him as somewhat technically astute, and his questions in that thread were valid.

Quicksy asked a question about dk's involvement, got an answer (not involved, which you can believe or not but you can't claim that there was an attack in response to that question) and then proceeded to talk about ponzis etc. Those were not questions at all, insinuations at best. Should dkbit98 have taken the high road here? Yes, probably. But the fact that he didn't doesn't make him a shill or otherwise responsible for bugs/backdoors/exploits that may or may not exist in that wallet.

And Quicksy keeps saying that dkbit98 is a shill with no proof of that, and made some other claims that are provably wrong, so at this point I would very much doubt any of his "technically astute" claims in that thread. That's what shit-stirrers like him do, put a few smart-sounding wikipedia words into a soup of bullshit and pretend that it smells like roses.

I will say that I believe dkbit98 has had a short fuse lately, he attacked me a couple of weeks ago.

There you go, it's completely on-brand then Smiley

So is Quicksy's incessant trollfuckery.
2174  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller is a dangerous person to deal with - avoid on: October 31, 2021, 03:50:32 PM
Funny how you bumped this particular thread to air your grievance in public, by the way.  I'm amused by it.

Hey, if you have something to say about my thread, say it to my face Grin

I think it's a good idea to move the grievance here, instead of continuing the trollfeed on the tech board.
2175  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller is a dangerous person to deal with - avoid on: October 31, 2021, 03:40:07 PM
I'm a bit surprised by his attack on you, on a tech board no less. Is there some history between you two that I don't know about? (or forgot, happens a lot lately LOL).
No, I never had anything to do with him and I certainly never attacked him in any way.
If this is what he considers to be an attack on him than I think that something is seriously wrong with him, and I hope he gets well soon:

I never asked anyone to send bitcoin to any service, there was testnet and you could test how it works, not just speak in theory after few minutes of reading docs.
You can do as you like, but I also don't trust anything you say and I have your reputation to back me up on that  Cheesy

Ok, well, he's touchy about his reputation, which he thinks is impeccable.

I made the mistake using Show/Hide on Quicksy's posts the tech boards thinking that he'd be less of a vengeful moron there than usual, but apparently not.

Watch out for doxing, that's his go-to move when someone disagrees with him.
2176  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [BETA] Mercury Wallet - Privacy for Bitcoin on: October 31, 2021, 03:36:13 PM
If this is a centralized service using a protocol they designed, it would resolve most of my concerns. Although one concern that would remain would be the fact that I was attacked by a shill when I tried to ask questions.

You made up the nonsense about the wallet connecting to random fraudulent nodes, and the shill accusation. Don't expect everyone to just roll over and not talk back when you do shit like that.
I'm sorry, but asking questions is not making up nonsense.

I do think it is strange that dkbit98 starts attacking me when I ask questions about a project asking to be trusted with people's money. If you disagree, then you are blinded by your bias.

Your question was answered:

I am curious if you are in any way associated with this project.
No I am not associated with them in away way

You kept making shit up:

There is also the concern that dkbit98 is shilling for this wallet while falsely saying he is not.

Also this:

there does not appear to be any mechanism for Bob to prevent his wallet from using Alice's known dishonest server.

is not a question at all.

But sure it's my bias. About some random wallet I've never heard of before. Wait, maybe I'm a shill too? Roll Eyes

Take care of yourself. You seem to be declining rapidly.

A (potential) advantage would be the ability to withdraw your funds using the backup locktime TX even if the centralized service goes down, is seized by the FBI etc.

Also lower transaction costs and liquidity provided by third parties, but that benefits the service more than the users.
2179  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [BETA] Mercury Wallet - Privacy for Bitcoin on: October 30, 2021, 05:01:27 PM
I was under the impression that everyone would be using the same centralized server being operated and maintained by the Mercury team themselves, just as you do when you use a centralized exchange or a mixer.

That's my understanding too. It seems to be open source so you can technically download Alice's version and use Alice's server, or maybe even configure the "original" wallet to connect to a different SE, but that's no different from using scammychipmixerclone.com.

Let me know if any of it looks begging now other than a proper meta topic.

You're still not saying what happened to your topic (mod deleted?) and what your complaint is (you think you didn't break rule #7 because...).

"Others did it too" is not a valid excuse, perhaps nobody reported those other topics.
