Regarding what Zelensky wanted or did not want, I'm not mind reader, so I won't make any conspiracy theories
about that...I wish he accepted https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minsk_agreements and gave up NATO membership, then
we would have much more clear situation, and Putin would have much harder job of convincing anyone, including
Russians, that he had to attack Ukraine

Nothing that Ukraine did or didn't do had any effect on the situation (unless of course they simply gave up and joined Putin's empire voluntarily).

Putin lied to the Russian people and created the obviously false narrative that Ukraine ("nazis") and/or NATO were going to attack Russia so he had to strike first. NATO has been on Russia's borders for decades. The new members joined NATO to defend against this exact shit that's going on now in Ukraine and it was a damn good decision that saved Estonia/Latvia/Lithuania - surely Putin would have gone there first and not to Ukraine if he could.

Bug: where's the IQ-score when I click "All" to read all pages?

I think that the actual bug is that the question doesn't change when the page loses focus  Grin

I see what you did here. Unfortunately even fixing this bug wouldn't help with cheaters who would use their (second) phone etc. The only way to fix this is full biometric KYC (we already tested a prototype a couple of years ago) and in-person test for each user.
1383  Other / Meta / Re: IQ testing now required before posting on: April 01, 2022, 02:45:32 AM
If someone's IQ below 120 in next week, then his/her Bitcointalk ID will permanent ban or he/she will have a chance to increase IQ.

He and she can buy Platinum membership that comes with a personal concierge who will post smart things so they don't have to worry about IQ.
1384  Other / Meta / Re: Is the IQ test really necessary? on: April 01, 2022, 02:39:09 AM
What IQ test? You must have done something wrong if you need to pass a test. Have you ever posted whiled drinking? Posted without a valid license? Posted after brushing your teeth?

I fed the the attention seeking troll. My bad.

It's ok. Troll lives matter.
1386  Other / Meta / Re: IQ testing now required before posting on: April 01, 2022, 12:15:24 AM
It should come with an automatic ban for everyone who has an IQ not equal to 100 at the end of the day. We can't have this communist diversity here.
1387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2022, 12:12:29 AM
I think this shows the sanctions don't work, at least not for Russia as a country and its leaders even if the average man and woman is getting somewhat stuffed. I doubt Putin will care much.

Putin is using all of his oil and gas revenue and most of other foreign revenues (businesses are required to sell 80% of their currency) to prop up the ruble and had to put sever restrictions on trading, transfers, and withdrawals to keep the lid on it. He does care.
1388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 31, 2022, 08:25:39 PM
This is getting real funny. Are you fuckers not entertained? I know I am. Cool

1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brady Sacks Arians on: March 31, 2022, 08:16:44 PM
The only other explanation I can think of is that maybe he already got what he wanted out of football, while we know there are players which are there exclusively for the money, cough Rodgers cough, there are others that are chasing to win at least one ring before they retire, Arians was like that, even if he had 2 SB rings as an assistant coach he had yet to get one as the HC, so maybe once he got it he simply thought he had achieved what he wanted and it was the moment to retire from the HC position.

But if that was the plan, wouldn't it have made more sense to do so when Brady retired? Or even before, when the season ended basically.

Now they got Brady back and perhaps a legitimate chance at SB again, and Arians says nah, I don't want it anymore.

But maybe he'll un-retire in a month or so  Grin

dribbling excrement

Why don't you follow the Russian warship. Just a suggestion. I think that route would make you happier.
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brady Sacks Arians on: March 31, 2022, 05:58:32 PM

Broken clock and all that...

But I gotta admit BA's retirement looks quite bizarre, particularly the timing after Brady's un-retirement.
1392  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Economic sanctions are not a war declaration on: March 31, 2022, 03:36:33 PM
You are so funny when you squirt bile. Here is Putin's decree on the "gas for rubles" mechanism, which begins to operate from tomorrow.

Here is the "mechanism": Gazprom bank would open euro/dollar and ruble accounts for gas buyers; buyers are supposed to transfer euros/dollars; the bank then would convert those euros/dollars to rubles; Gazprom would take those rubles.

1393  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Economic sanctions are not a war declaration on: March 31, 2022, 11:13:35 AM
in European politics there is no leader with charisma like Che Guevara or Castro

That's why Russia with its "leaders" is in the shitter while the rest of the civilized world has realized that giving all power to one person is a bad idea and came up with various albeit imperfect ways of distributing that power.

On April 1, gas supplies to Europe are possible only for rubles, and this is not a joke on a fool's day.

Tomorrow the operating mechanism of gas payment for rubles will be made public.

Sounds like a 30-year old living in mom's basement. "I will move out tomorrow". "I actually meant that tomorrow I will announce a mechanism for moving out but if you object to my insane conditions I will gladly stay".

This is the link I'm using to attempt and search through the Marketplace board, but It's not showing nearly as many results as it should be. Am I missing something?

Not sure, but it looks like there aren't many new threads in Marketplace. I don't think the search includes sub-boards - you would have to specify each board in the URL.
1395  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 30, 2022, 03:01:20 AM
According to this article, the fighters of the invisible front cybertroops are working on a two-by-two schedule. If I text every day, can I get two sets of food stamps? Grin

Makes sense that you focus on the payment part, and not on the fact that Putin's propaganda that you're so obsessively spreading is being spread via organized troll farms using fake accounts on social media. I mean it's not like there ever was much doubt about it, but a first-hand report like that is quite damning. Also it links the troll farm to a known Kremlin-adjacent oligarch and possibly even to Ukraine's pro-Russian ex-"president". Not news to you I take it?

I'm disappointed that you haven't provided proof that my content isn't unique.

Don't be, I will provide proof as I usually do - if you get banned and decide to appeal.

You have fallen rather low in my eyes with such empty slander and I have lost interest in further conversation with you.

I'm very sad now but also very happy that I was higher than "rather low" in your eyes. As they say in Putinland - cкaтepтью вaм дopoгa, тoвapищ.

It is interesting that a person who wears a commercial signature and receives payment for each message accuses the interlocutor of some kind of bias without evidence, this is a shame.

My signature doesn't pay for posts in P&S, and for most other posts that I make.

Also no one ever says "interlocutor" so whatever translation software they make you use - it's shit. Sanctions must be working.

I express my personal opinion on the topic of the conversation, I always formulate it in a unique way and I do it for free. I am an anarchist politically and have never voted for Putin in elections (I don't go to elections or I come to spoil the ballot, thus voting against everyone). My political preferences have not changed since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, although I began to sympathize more with Putin for the decisiveness of his actions. Also, I do not hate Ukrainians, although I dislike the ideology of the Nazis, their modus vivendi and modus operandi.

Obligatory "I don't usually support Putin but I support Putin" weaseling. Check.
1396  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 29, 2022, 09:54:07 PM
Some of it has to be unique and made (up) by you certainly. The old Russian propaganda machine cannot have fallen so low as to be producing such a low quality stuff.

Great article on this topic: https://www.fontanka.ru/2022/03/21/70522490/

(it's in Russian, but google translation works reasonably well)
1397  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brands not pulling out of Putin's Russia [list] on: March 29, 2022, 09:42:01 PM
Right or wrong, their is a MASSIVE inorganic pro-Ukraine agenda push almost everywhere you can look..

I don't know where you're looking but where I look I see a horrifying invasion based on lies, attacks on civilians, a humanitarian crisis, and Putin's totalitarian regime beating and jailing its opponents. Calling it agenda is a weird choice of words to say the least.

If it was so cut and dry, why so much shilling?

It's the age of the intertubes. People post what they see. What they see can be both - a horrible tragedy, and also "cut and dry".

“ The United Nations human rights office said on Sunday (Mar 27) that 1,119 civilians had so far been killed and 1,790 wounded since Russia began its attack on Ukraine.”

Also the UN says that the actual number is likely much higher since they haven't counted everything.

“The Iraq Body Count project (IBC) figure of documented civilian deaths from violence is 183,535 – 206,107 through April 2019”

Whataboutism, not to mention that you're comparing one month of war to 15+ years. Even on the scale of Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the death toll in Ukraine will likely be as high or higher than the deadliest months of those wars.

And they will have you believe that Putin is targeting innocent civilians..

That's because he is. There is enough video evidence - again, everyone has a camera these days. Tanks aiming directly at apartment buildings, that kind of thing.

Putin is actually taking decent care NOT to harm civilians, if not he could have easily steamrolled Kiev by now and wiped them right off the map..

That might have been the plan. Didn't work out but they basically destroyed suburban towns in the north west.

Putin must be much more careful in his actions, Russia being the great Red herring bad guy the west uses to keep you afraid..

I guess it’s a shame that not ALL Ukrainian citizens loved the CIA backed coupe so nicely named the “Revolution Of Dignity”..
If only all those eastern Ukrainians would have just went happily along with it and not held their ground for the last what.. 8 years of the Ukrainian civil war of Ukrainian missiles shelling eastern Ukraine right on Russia’s border..

The "civil war" was started by Russian invasion. You should really read up on what's going on in those "people's republics". They're basically little dictatorships run by thugs. Right now they're forcibly mobilizing entire male population for cannon fodder purposes.

Apparently you are in an information bubble, captivated by delusions and an abundance of fakes.
Funny coming from a Kremlin copy-pasta troll.
On this forum, allegations of copy-paste (i.e. plagiarism) are very serious and are punishable by an immediate automatic ban. Can you back up your value judgment with evidence that my content isn't unique, or are you just slandering me?

Yes, moderators will be made aware of it. You don't need to worry too much though, a couple of your comrades are still not banned despite multiple reports. It looks like someone on the staff has a sweet spot for shitheads like you.

Sounds like Ukraine is "operating" on Russia now.

LOL Russian propaganda is making a U-turn - apparently admission of failure of their air defense would be not cool:

Apparently you are in an information bubble, captivated by delusions and an abundance of fakes.

Funny coming from a Kremlin copy-pasta troll.

Russian troops are acting primarily for reasons of expediency. Activity in the northern direction played a role in the initial phase of the operation. To storm a city of three million with a limited contingent of forces is madness.

So why did they attempt to do it in such a suicidal way? Rhetorical question but if you need to meet today's quota - feel free.

You see all the propaganda surrounding this Ukraine war? Where do you think all of this media push is coming from? Who do you think is financing it?

Propaganda is almost entirely financed by Putin's regime, as pretty much only state-owned or controlled media is allowed to function in Russia.
