2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this another Ethereum season on: August 07, 2021, 11:21:31 PM
I find the EIP-1559 burn as the major reason for the ongoing price move with ethereum. Apart from this we've got more positive news happening relative to cryptocurrency. This will surely have good impact on the market. There is good increase with bitcoin as well, and this shows the market progress in a combined manner. Ethereum had increased $140 million marketcap in a single day. This form of growth won't happen that easy without any reason. There is no form of manipulation, the market seems to move depending on the demand.
2162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Former Monero Maintainer ‘Fluffypony’ Arrested and to Be Extradited on: August 05, 2021, 11:31:42 PM
He might've earned good out of the monero. Why he had the mind to steal from his former employer. He shouldn't have done it. He is just a maintainer, but this will be interpreted as monero is a scam. This is how FUD over something is easily tied up and circulated all around.

We don't know whether he had done it or it is just a way to shatter the market for a while and recover. With cryptocurrency nothing can be believed, as everyone intend to make money through some means of opportunity.
2163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: August 05, 2021, 11:11:38 PM
Op, you already got a lots of suggestions and you probably confused where to invest and Where not to. So its better you Should also need to have some fundamental analysis to understand about   "where should you invest with". Well as you are a newbie, so i can reffer you to bnb coin which is binance exchange coin, contributing billion dollars in crypto field and can hope we'll seen the explosive growth of it in upcoming days
BNB is a good pick for the long term. Rather than just going into investment try to make something with the capital and lookout for regular profit than long term profit. Even BNB is a good choice that has regular market variation. Try making some profit out of the difference in price between time. This way you can increase the holding value along with the increase in number of assets in the wallet.
2164  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: August 05, 2021, 10:58:28 PM
More number of people are much into depression due to loneliness. When someone is suffering out of depression they won't think of anything outside their circle. They won't care thyself. Now helping hands are more in need to overcome this and governments need to work on it. Recently saw a NGO organising a meet online. Here people can register to spend time and talk. This means volunteers reach out mostly the aged people and spend the day with them supporting mentally.
2165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should you own at least one Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2021, 10:48:55 PM
Having limited supply always make the bitcoin to have high demand. Think of the world population. Being one among the 21million to hold atleast one bitcoin is really a big thing. In future this will be more worth once the entir number of bitcoins were mined.

There is nothing as more Bitcoins. Once the entire number of bitcoin is mined each satoshi will be valued big, because only in terms of Satoshi it is possible to fulfill the necessity of growing population.
2166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Factors affecting bitcoin business on: August 05, 2021, 01:22:26 PM
Different people believe on different features as the factor affecting bitcoin businesses. Some state the liquidity as the issue, because people don't have a mind to think it same as gold. Some find volatility as a factor affecting the bitcoin business, but for the one who understands the reality of market volatility will find it beneficial. Above all, the transaction delay and limited acceptance is a major factor. This will slowly change.

Imagine, $1 invested in Bitcoin in July 2010 is worth $800,000 today.

A lesson for a lifetime. I learned my lessons, how about you? are you?
that's why many terms are popping up today such as holder is winner, hand of diamond and so on which really mean that people who hold bitcoin will get big profits, now we still have the opportunity to be able to get big profits in the future by buying and storing bitcoins for a long time, especially now that the price of bitcoin is starting to decrease slightly so we can buy it at a cheap price.

This list of tweets is more than enough to show the value of holding bitcoin. In most cases the long term investment always gives good results. Atleast now onwards focusing on the holding plan seems to be the best choice. Very few believed its growth, whereas the rest still find it a boom as the .com and it is a must to keep hodl of bitcoins atleast for five years of time.

In my country, Venezuela, many companies have also closed and one in which I can give my first-hand testimony. It is a car sales agency of the recognized brand Chevrolet that closed its doors in my city and all the other chain of branches are in the process of closing. Automotive agencies since before the pandemic were already showing difficulties to operate in the country. It is not surprising that the pandemic accelerated this process due to the negative effects on their economies that they could receive.

As well as this case there have been more in my city for which unemployed people have been in the task of starting a business on their own. As happened to a relative who sells clothing from his home in order to generate new income.

Fortunately, social networks are helping small entrepreneurs by allowing them to create advertising and get their products to the consumer, one of the most popular are WhatsApp and Facebook.
Yes, in recent days the online/social media platforms are helping small entrepreneurs survive. In few countries governments were functioning very fast to meet the need of common people. At the hard times the government is supposed to help the people, but in some countries even in this situation corruption is on the top. In each and everything purchased to overcome the Pandemic there is corruption. Anyhow right now to survive we need to do and earn from all possible ways without thinking of anything like a white collared jobs.
2169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: August 04, 2021, 10:43:29 PM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?

bitcoin will never die and there will never be an altcoin that can replace bitcoin. because bitcoin is the king of all coins in cryptocurency and bitcoin is the first coin created by satoshi nakamoto. With bitcoin, other coins were born such as ethereum, dashcoin, litecoin and others. so there is no way that there is an altcoin that can replace bitcoin.
Many think that altcoins can replace Bitcoin but that probably won't be the case, as all crypto coins are interconnected as big commodities, and for Bitcoin with limited supply and increasingly complex algorithms, the price will be higher and become expensive in the next few years.
Rather than interconnection, every altcoins are tied/have dependence on bitcoin. This makes the market variation to take place following the growth of bitcoin. Regularly we can see large number of new cryptocurrency reaching the market, but that doesn't make a competence or any disturbance. The growth happens depending the bitcoin market. Some even make promotions as the alternate to bitcoin, but in reality the market keeps widening with more cryptocurrencies and the same doesn't serve as a replacement.
2170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: August 04, 2021, 10:23:36 PM
The request for the right altcoin to invest has been made almost five months back by OP. If he has invested on any of the low priced altcoins around the range 0.1$ - $1, now he might have took the profit out of it. Now it isn't good to expect short term profit. On long term focus one can choose Ada.
2171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2021, 10:08:48 PM
Ordinary people never think about investing, their major focus will be on saving. This is not because, they don't know about investments. The preference is to stay on the safe side without risk. Most of the ordinary people's investment will be upon gold and very limited to stocks and other forms of investments. Maybe this will change in the future, as little by little ordinary people are getting into cryptocurrency.
2172  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase New FUD on: August 04, 2021, 09:58:21 PM
This is more like negative news for coinbase, well, it's their own move to do that, and it doesn't and will not affect bitcoin price now and in the future.
Probably will have a huge effect to their stocks but not bitcoin.
Quite often coinbase encounters some issues compared to other crypto service providers. We don't know the level of truth, but we can see more news associated with coinbase often. As said in the quote it can be a self made one or it can be an ongoing issue faced by the coinbase firm. For this reason they're going to be affected and not the bitcoin. It was in the past, such news to create panic and affect the market.
2173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: August 04, 2021, 09:36:41 PM
Maybe if the price touches $1m in the future, I'll think of missing the opportunity to invest/buy when the price was in thousands. Though $1m seems high to be reached I've got some place thinking of $1m in the future based on the growth it has attained over the years.

Few years back the price speculation was to reach $5000, and the same has now moved to $100k. In future the same can change.
2174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto? on: August 02, 2021, 11:56:53 PM
When OP started to know about the right moment for a comeback the price was close around $35000. Later it has dropped down to the range of $30k and the same has recovered reaching above $40k. Based on this track of price changes, the day on which op started to think of a comeback seems to be the right time.
2175  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: August 02, 2021, 11:17:45 PM
Knowledge is very important, because with knowledge you can survive. Maybe the time taken for the success or the target to be reached gets delayed. If one has money, he need to learn through experience. Both has the good in it, but what is more powerful can be defined in a simple way.

One can make money with his knowledge, but the knowledge can't be bought with money
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: July 31, 2021, 11:45:36 PM
Cryptocurrency news needs to be accurate and it shouldn't be made in a way to support a particular thing. Earlier I used to watch a news platform where it is much about the bitcoin cash hype. Later moved from that, and my sources wer the news links available with coinmarketcap and cointelegraph. Most of the time I prefer few YouTube sources were briefing will be done in a better way.
2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you really miss it? on: July 29, 2021, 03:58:00 PM
Myself too remember the days of bitcoin falling low to $3800. From that point it has grown $64k which isn't an simple thing. This ATH price means 17x growth from the low bottom of last year. More currencies used to grow in higher multiples, but very few gets popularity or gets into discussion.

We don't know on what basis this growth manifold takes place. It is good to stand a chance and enjoy, because however hard you analyse you'll end with a learning, but the same won't let you predict precisely.
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or TRX? to have most potential from here (15/05/2021) on: July 29, 2021, 02:20:42 PM
^ TRX is more potential in my opinion, ATH TRX is around $ 0.3 and until now it hasn't been able to get back that price, the long term TRX will definitely reach its ATH. while LTC is growing very slowly, I don't see much potential in LTC.
I'm very bullish on Tron it has the same usage as Binance and Ethereum but unfortunately, they are not moving like the two, I'm still hoping that it will not be long before they make a big pump I like Tron it's cheap and fast, there's little we read or heard about Justin Sun, he should make a noise now we are in a bull trend many investors are watching for coins to add in their portfolio.
Myself too have the same thought on TRX. It is one among the earliest as well as the potential asset that is developed with good usecases. Already Litecoin, ethereum have pumped high and reached next level of the market. TRX hasn't grown higher as these cryptocurrencies, and TRX being low priced gives high hope of pumping high. It is the choice of mine.
2179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China takeover Bitcoin network? on: July 29, 2021, 02:03:53 PM
How can China takeover Bitcoin network? First China is not the owner or creator of bitcoin. Although the large numbers of miners came from China but now it was drastically reducing. Also there is a news that China are banning bitcoin. I can't imagine how can China think about bitcoin network to be their own. Not only do they claim the territory of other countries as well as the bitcoin network they also want to claim.
Even if it were possible, the Chinese government would not do it. They always follow their own path of development, copying only perfect technologies and certain groups of goods from others.
We have been observing for a long time that the Chinese government is very interested in blockchain technology, but there is no strong interest in cryptocurrency there. They even make their digitized yuan not on blockchain technology, most likely to distance themselves from cryptocurrency.
China always want everything to be unique and separately designed for them same as the separate search engine they've got. Once it was China to hold the power of network with maximum hash being generated from China. Even now scenario is the same, but the government wants them to have their own cryptocurrency and own blockchain. So, we can't expect China takeover bitcoin network.

In the past if one of the miner leaves the market there will be difference in the process. Now people are ready to take the space.
2180  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: July 29, 2021, 01:38:03 PM
How would you define what is to be "rich"? Is it about having enough for living or is there something else that you would be looking to accomplish to be rich?
Is it 1 million USD? Is it 1000 bitcoin? what are your thoughts?
Getting what I want, buying what I like without looking at the price, can provide benefits for the people around that is the definition of rich for me. What is certain is that you already have hundreds of assets, whether it's property, whether it's stocks, bitcoins and others. Which I can pass on to my children and grandchildren in the future.
Getting what you want isn't rich. Because if someone is in need of love and care you can't buy it with money. It is an inner feel. Maybe someone will be there to give love and care in exchange of money. That won't be true love and care...

Based on the above quote one who has the ability to fulfill his materialistic needs without any difficulty is rich. I agree on this statement.
