2161  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-07] Bitcoin Disrupting Banking; Deutsche Bank To Cut 18,000 Jobs by 202 on: July 08, 2019, 02:56:44 PM
They just connected two separate news and try to relate it to one another. I prefer you reading the bloomberg article for the bank first before you even think this is real. Also how can a bank who's main income involves around lending/investing will be affected by crypto because of their payment tech? It only affects a little portion of their business considering that we in the crypto industry are in the minority I don't think our threat to banks is bigger than we think.
2162  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for linkpartners on: July 08, 2019, 11:53:07 AM
I really wouldn't focus on getting more new news links to contribute it on my website but instead focused on what your goal is which is providing reliable amd accurate news artivles fir your viewers and I think that is what will set you apart from the rest of them. Just plunging us with new article links every 1 or two minutes is something that we don't want to see but the qualoty of what you can offer. If not you'll just be another news curator without anything to offer.
2163  Other / Meta / Re: The new (maybe not so new) spammy trend. on: July 08, 2019, 08:45:19 AM
I like the option when the OP doesn't reply for a certain amount of time lets say 24 hours or the first two pages of the thread then the members have an option to report it to a moderator to lock the thread, I think this will be a sinple yet an effective way of avoiding to creat pne more megethread in the forum. Only downside I see to this is members who are interested in the discussion won't get the chance to participate in the board due to the OP's lack of interest.
2164  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: British FCA proposing full ban on crypto CFD on: July 07, 2019, 08:22:51 PM
This is a bad news for U.K. investors in general because from what I know they are the ones who have an open mind toward cryptocurrencies in their country, they even have a number of crypto atms found in their cities. Retail investors only means us the normal people which is really a direct hit for their citizens who are already in the crypto industry as well as the potential ones. If someone doesn't battle this out in court then we can expect that this ban to be fully enforced in no time.
2165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning: Fake BTC core BTC wallet in Google Play on: July 07, 2019, 07:10:13 PM
Good find. It's funny how this fraudulent wallet is claiming to be a bitcoin full node(via app description), but the app has BitcoinCash and Ethereum support lmao.

Seriously though, Google needs to be a bit more strict concerning app submission.

Even if you didn't put your private keys on it, I wouldn't advice you on downloading the fake Bitcoin Core app since their permissions does not limit only to the app itself. Apps also have the power to touch some parts of your phone and act as a tracker/spyware so it's really not safe to install does kinds of apps. I would advice you to uninstall it right away and have your phone cleaned up through an anti-virus and malware bytes just to be sure.
2166  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Category on: July 07, 2019, 06:24:03 PM
Privacy coins dont exist. They are just a cryptocurrencies. Money have to be fungible. And for a cryptocurrency to be fungible it needs opaque ledger. It is silly to call coins private, if they are just what money should be.

Privacy coins do exists just look out news on how countries like Japan and Korea are planning to remove complete the listings of this "anonimity/privacy coins" that is currently available on their exchanges. Some popular anonimity coins like Monero, Zcash, and Dash are more anonymous compared to Bitcoin thus making a shift from criminals doing illicit activities from the coins I have mentioned, even the authorities have said that they know that these cryptocurrencies now are being used to criminal activities.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 07, 2019, 05:46:31 PM
There are rumors that Russell Westbrook is heading to the Houston Rockets and seeing the situation I would say it's possible to happen. Like Westbrook and Paul George Chris Paul and Harden does not have the best of relationship after the season as ended and I could see that one of them (most likely Paul) would be traded away as the main centerpiece of the trade in exchange for Westbrook. This might not be the only power change we will see in the West and Houston might be another improved contender for the Championship.
2168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Facebook’s Libra + Bitcoin + Trump + Israel = 666 Orwellian Dystopia on: July 06, 2019, 07:53:19 PM
From the earth being flat, missing airplanes, 9/11, big foot and to cryptocurrencies being linked to the devil. I don't know why people create such things whether they have so much time or have fantastic imaginations or even both I'm just surprised on how they can connect everything without even trying hard to do so. Just like this guy, obviously he doesn't know what he is talking about and thinking that Libra can outmatch BTC because "Bitcoin can never be a medium of exchange" brought to his own close-minded reasoning/

Libra doesn’t compete with Bitcoin. Bitcoin can never be a medium-of-exchange because of the invariants pointed out in the subsequent You Can’t Keep Your Bitcoin Nor Gold section of this blog.
2169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Media Is All Praises For Bitcoin on: July 06, 2019, 06:27:32 PM
They might just be up to something on the reason why they are hyping up Bitcoin as a "haven asset" these kinds of news made in unison won't happen if they don't have an ulterior motive behind this, they might just want to pump up the prices with their local exchange or something to make profit off. This wasn't also the first time that a Chinese organization has hyped up Bitcoin and some other coins, remember this news when they ranked cryptocurrencies where BTC was ranked 6th and EOS was ranked 1st? Trust me this is just the Chinese using their influence to move up some things.
2170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US Citizen should demand legal btc derivative exchange on: July 04, 2019, 08:53:54 PM
If Bitcoin ETFs are having a hard time to pass with SEC with all their delays and extensions what's made you think that theybwill be more open with a derivative exchange especially when the congress is involve, this people might not even know what you are talking about in the first place. The only way to change things right now is to wait for another election and elect an official/s that are more open to the crypto industry best if they are an advocate of it. It's either that or they see for themselves that they are being left behind by other countries in terms of their crypto industry.
2171  Other / Meta / Re: A group of linked accounts terrorizes the Ru-locale. on: July 04, 2019, 07:32:59 PM
Supported the active flag found on his trust page. By the way isn't the Russian mods should be active on cleaning korner's self moderated threads? I think that they can do that as all of his threads are only created for his own purpose. There's really no sense for him destroying the whole local RU forum with all his nonsense.
2172  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-04] Bitcoin Hashrate Records Another All-time High Level on: July 04, 2019, 06:40:08 PM
Another positive news and its backing up the current orice action for Bitcoin. It may have lead to miners waking up and resuming their operations because they see the prices are sufficient enough to be profitable. Now that because we have an increase in mining we can then see that the level of difficulty will be increasing again hopefully it will be normalize when other miners will start mining again by that time.
2173  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help rebuild Venezuela? - Darb Finance on: July 04, 2019, 03:48:43 PM
Nope. I have seen an article where the inflation in Venezuela is so extreme that even other currencies and other commodities such as the U.S. dollar and gold are still affected by the inflation. Venezuela have started accepting other fiat currencies in their country hoping that it won't be affected by inflation but still it failed. Reuters reported that its not due to the Bolivar's devaluation but because the goods in the country are becoming more scarcer and scarcer. You can read the full article here.
2174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 04, 2019, 12:14:43 PM
Still with the latest “Pacquiao vs Thurman Who Will Win?” videos Ibhave seen in Youtube they all (or at least the majority of them) point out that Manny Pacquiao would win. Even Dana White the UFC president said that he won't bet against Pacquiao as he knows pretty well what are his skills are. Can't wait for the 20th of July to see that the underdog will win one more time against another arrogant boxer in the ring. Thurman needs to show some respect after this fight.
2175  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Google Adwords -- is it opened for crypto projects? on: July 03, 2019, 07:46:42 PM
Just to update this one I was actively using Google's search engine and come to my surprise that theybare also showing ads for ICO listing websites so I think they might have loosen the ban with some exceptions a little bit. Although they aren't showing any ads for ICOs they are still showing ads related to it which I think is a progress on their case. Still really depends on what you are trying to promot though so really not all can benefit Google's Adwords.
2176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning to third party smartphone keyboard users. on: July 03, 2019, 06:24:22 PM
That's the problem with Google's playstore literally any developer can upload their app and be available to other people. There are no screening process or background checks done to this apps that is why a lot of them are ready for download. The thing is if you aren't really in need of those apps do not be tempted on downloading them especially the ones who have a few downloads and a bad rating because they aren't really worth it for you to try out.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for bitcoin holders, after falling price now Bitcoin Surges above 12% on: July 03, 2019, 02:56:14 PM
A lot of people got a little tense when BTC again fell down below the 10,000$ level I myself personally brought back the horrors of it happening the first time last year but the good thing is I didn't let my panic decide for myself but then instead trust that this was just a big correction from Bitcoin going up to 13,000$ quickly and fortunately I was right and now BTC is again bullish. I'm still long in BTC and the whole market today this bull market is far from over.
2178  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Is Your Last Chance to Buy the Dip Before Bitcoin Pierces $20,000 on: July 02, 2019, 07:57:58 PM
We still have a very long way up to the current ATH to say that its our only last chance to ride the wave. If you aren't remembering price actions or movements in the charts are not a straight way up most of it is a gradual up and down movement going through its direction and a lot of traders have accumulated or take profit in that way. Don't expect Bitcoin to be one way up but expect it to have a lot of ups and downs where you can take advantage from and its up to you how you can earn from it.
2179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we trust Libra after Facebook kept fail us when it comes to privacy &data? on: July 02, 2019, 07:14:31 PM
Bro if we can't even trust them with our date even the smallest of details like what we are searching in the web what's make you think that their Libra coin will be more private comoared to their social media platform? Right now their main asset is our data and they will try to exploit it as much as they can in order to create the perfect solution for their Libra coin. There will be no exceptions for it as they have covered everything from messaging, social media and even search engines they'll exploit everything about us.
2180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: changelly.com is scammer ? on: July 02, 2019, 06:10:04 PM
Shapeshift might be a good alternative even though now they require KYC because of the authorities forcing them to do so it still a reliable exchange where you can buy BTC with your credit card. If you are looking for any websites where you can buy cryptocurrencies with credit card that don't require KYC I'm afraid that there is no option for that at least a reliable one.
