2201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: October 25, 2021, 02:10:47 PM
BTC was like $400 when this started. $63,000 today  Angry

So we had these paycoiners who bragged about investing $100k+ into this shit (Volder, Craig IIRC) . That'd be $15m+ in today's money.

This is not to say that I didn't waste precious ancient bitcoins on stupid shit, but I didn't give much to scams (mostly because of Homero, who made me very  vigilant very early in my Bitcoin adventure so I guess thanks for that) and I held on to some... I hope paycoiners did too, there was still time to grab some cheap bitcoins at $250-$300 in 2015 after they'd learned their lesson.

Except the ION "team", those muppets were hopeless, I don't think they learned anything.
2202  Economy / Reputation / Re: User "Binance Coin" - likely impersonating Binance (à la Bitcoin SV / korner) on: October 25, 2021, 11:24:50 AM
More posts are being deleted... when I started this thread Binance Coin had 50 posts, now it's down to 37. Watch out for self-mod shenanigans.

dkbit98, thanks for this:

I personally contacted Binance exchange to confirm that account Binance Coin is impersonating scammer, so please stay tuned for final resolution until they reply to me.
Not sure if he is connected with corner or with some other account but everyone should just ignore him from now on.

I tried to find a way to contact them but apparently I can't even open the website via Tor and I'm not really willing to go on some twitface or use e-mail for this.

Can someone please fill me in on this 'lightlord was sick with experimental medication' bit?  I see some post he made about it referenced a few times but see nothing about it in his post history.

I think the mention of "vaccine" in this deleted post is what triggered it: https://loyce.club/archive/posts/5816/58167481.html

Seems to be a touchy subject nowadays.

Psychotics get their first win of the season!

Will be tough to do when the opposing team is borderline cheating:

While I have read the title of the post frrom my email I thought that Binance Coin (BNB) is a impersonator of bitcoin SV. Latter I could understand after reading the full post of the topic. Yes, I think the profile binance coin is a impersonator at least it is not the official account of binance or BNB.

Yeah I can see how it could be confusing. I've updated the title of the thread.
2209  Economy / Reputation / Re: Binance Coin - likely impersonator à la Bitcoin SV / korner on: October 24, 2021, 04:17:23 PM
Binance Coin deleted some posts since I started this thread. Can anyone guess which posts?

Anyway, no worries, I'll put in archive links.
2210  Economy / Reputation / User "Binance Coin" - likely impersonating Binance (à la Bitcoin SV / korner) on: October 24, 2021, 03:58:24 PM
User "Binance Coin" appears to be a troll/impersonator and not a real Binance account.

I'd love to be wrong about this one because it's really not a good look for this forum to allow that kind of shit.

But here are some red flags:

User profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2625435
Type 1 flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2857

This is a reference thread for a flag. I will update this if the account can prove that they represent Binance.

Edit: Binance Coin deleted posts referenced in this thread. I have replaced the links with archives.

Edit 2: clarified the title and added some context.
2211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 24, 2021, 04:29:17 AM
Quote
Wallmart has partnered with coin cashing machine company Coinstar and crypto exchange coinme to install 200 bitcoin ATM's in its stores across the USA

Although the pilot includes only 200 kiosks the broader plan is to install 8000 ATM's in the stores eventually.

The coindesk editor verified that service works buying a small amount of bitcoin at Pennsylvania Walmart on Oct 12

https://i.ibb.co/dLcmsFC/Screenshot-20211022-232054-01.jpg

The world is recognising and businesses knows how to gain profits with going with the market demand and trends and btc is all around.

Coinstar has had this for a couple of years so not sure what's new here. It sucks though because you can't do the most obvious thing - swap coins for bitcoins.

Also the way it works is kinda clunky, you get a voucher that you need to redeem on Coinme website/app, and of course there is a 10%+ fee for the privilege.
2212  Economy / Reputation / Re: 4,836 Hacked BTC from Binance laundered through Chipmixer on: October 23, 2021, 10:59:13 PM
You must have wasted at least 10-20 minutes back-checking the history of my address

You really don't know how the blockchain works, do you?

but denied or overlooked the proof of LittleMouse, SmallRabbit, Hacker, RapTarx, ScumBoss.. the ones I provided and some other users

whataboutwhataboutwhataboutwhataboutwhataboutwhataboutwhataboutwhataboutwhatabo ut

The point was privacy and pointing out your blatant lie that one needs a "warrant" to see things on the blockchain. If you don't care about privacy - fine. Some people do and therefore use mixers, CoinJoin, privacy coins, etc.

in any case, 'Nut nut nutty' wrote a full story on me and worldofcoins thinking you provided a Solid proof!!
Those shit stories are getting merits as if people merit the stuff what they want to believe rather than what's....., It's a shit show anyways.
Go check her thread, should be on 2nd page.

Your obsession with nutildah is cringy.
2213  Economy / Reputation / Re: 4,836 Hacked BTC from Binance laundered through Chipmixer on: October 23, 2021, 01:28:45 PM
Do you mean I sent to address "bc1q5x7zssejfd5nl74gtgd3f92u2wc4pjtues8yng" and whatever company or whoever owns that address sent it to "3CX2reYLXJh1hACiA1i6qq9WFCSEUc7Ax5" where Worldofcoins sent their bitcoins in past Thus i own the address "3CX2reYLXJh1hACiA1i6qq9WFCSEUc7Ax5".

Maybe you should have taken the "having alt accounts is not against the rules" route. It's been quite obvious that this throwaway SmokerFace account is a sockpuppet and no one has really given much of a shit about it.

I didn't say anything about you owning the address. It could be owned by an exchange you deposit to, or any number of other possibilities. But if the shoe fits, feel free to wear it.

send me your address, and...

You might want to clarify that because shitposters are gonna post the addresses here and may get you banned for an illegal shitcoin giveaway.
2215  Economy / Reputation / Re: 4,836 Hacked BTC from Binance laundered through Chipmixer on: October 22, 2021, 02:57:03 PM
And how do you think someone without a warrant can trace you that you've to use a mixer.

I don't need a warrant to see that you and worldofcoins sweep your campaign earnings to the same address at the same time.

Granted this might fall under "scummed" coins, what with you making money from a scam casino.
2216  Other / Meta / Re: I need help, my thread is not published in ALTCOINS on: October 22, 2021, 01:32:04 PM
Also the altcoin board uses special bumping rules so don't even try spamming the thread, it won't push it to the front.

Edit: and you posted in on the wrong board... naughty.
2217  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: October 21, 2021, 11:02:47 PM
You are misrepresenting what I said. I am saying that if he is owed money, he shouldn’t continue to allow additional debt to accumulate, and that if he has a problem with the payment schedule, he should stop working for lightlord.

Maybe he did stop when it became a problem. Or he could have a contractual obligation. Or any number of other reasons why this (along with the suggestion to not use the trust system for the exact purpose of the trust system) is an absurd advice or at best irrelevant to the issue at hand.

Obviously my recommendation was based on the assumption that he had been paid what he is owed.

If he was paid then the above makes zero sense even in your cuckoo universe where the victim is at fault for accumulating the debt they're owed.
2218  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: October 21, 2021, 06:56:42 PM
As is true for everyone else, tranthidung deserves to be respected, but I don't think it is appropriate to leave negative trust if he is disrespected. A more appropriate response would be for tranthidung to consider ending his professional relationship with Lightlord (as far as I am aware, he has not).

Right, if someone is failing to pay, the right response is to just leave and not even warn anyone about what happened Roll Eyes

Looks like you skipped your meds again.
2219  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: October 21, 2021, 05:51:45 PM
Guys, it seems to me, or are you really ignoring what Lightlord wrote?

Are you ignoring users saying that delays occurred more than once and lasted more than a couple of months?

his good deeds outweigh his incompetence

If that's the case, his positive feedback will outweigh the negatives.

I would suggest that at least the users who had been directly affected by lightlord's negligence - or whatever you want to call it - wouldn't revise their ratings and leave them as warnings to reduce the chance of needing another 10-page thread two years from now, but that's not really up to me.

What is up to me is my own rating and since I'm not directly affected by this I would have been open to revising it after a number of on-time sig campaign payouts, but it seems that the problem is larger than that so I'm gonna have to see how this develops. The lack of communication doesn't inspire confidence.

The feedback below is well deserved, so I expect that after 10 weeks, only this neg feedback will remain.

This should be a type 2 or 3 flag.

That'd damage the shit cred of your coin. You need to hire a barely literate newbie.
